My bride amd I went to "Man of Steel" yesterday.... wrong title...shoulda been "Man of Steal". Felt like it was a compilation of scenesstolen from "Iron Man 1", "Real Steel", the costume designer of "Spiderman 3", and the set battle scenes of the "Decepticons" meet "Storm Troopers" of "Star Wars", mixed in with the NSA scandal. Did noticeably miss the iconic phrase of "Truth, Justice, and the Ameican way" but maybe that reflects the time.. political correctness has neutered such idealic concepts. Save your money.

Latest from www.barackobama/organizingforactiom.com: "
Hal, this is huge news:

President Obama is set to announce his plan this week to address the growing threat of climate change.

We'll know more specifics on Tuesday, but it's expected he'll offer a bold, national approach to reducing carbon pollution -- and lay out a vision to lead global efforts to fight climate change.

-- "We'll know more specifics on Tuesday"? Is this Judas 00-bama's version of Nancy Pelosi's ObamaCare explanation that 'we won't know what's in it until we pass it'?

---

General Alexander of the NSA exclusively interviewed with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. Why? Because he was probably pre-assured he was only going to get softball questions.

---

Whoever gave Susan Rice the talking points on Benghazi had to have provided General Alexander for his exclusive interview with George Stephanopoulos.

---

Squealer Snowden has "escaped" from Hong Kong to Moscow. How? We can only assume government entities in Hong Kong and China have no respect for Judas 00-bama.

---

L-E headline: "NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY * U.S. TO PURSUE SNOWDEN WHEREVER HE GOES " -- You mean after all we been exposed to about the the NSA spying in on our e-mail and cellphones that the NSA doesn't KNOW where Snowden is and is going to?
---

I do enjoy the latest "LA Quinta" ad about the salesman "bringing home the bacon", but the Comfort Inn ad where the guy is calling his boss to "thank him" before breakfast... that's a diffent story. If a salesman called me at that hour to "thank" me for a stay at an average level motel, my next call would be to Human Resources to call the motel to cancel his employment & credit card.

Just thinking about the warning sign that's been erected within the confines of the banks of the Chattahoochee. Does anyone from the City think that sign will be standing following the first flood condition?

---

Also where the above sign is located, and the size of the lettering basically means you'd have to crash into the rocks to see it which basically means it's not only an eyesore, but a waste of time, effort, and tax dollars as well.

---

Online headline/story: "Mississippi Open Gun Carry Law Causing Confusion * On July 1, a new law giving Mississippi residents the right to openly carry firearms without the need of a gun permit will go into effect." -- "Confusion"? Only if you're not a law abiding citizen and legally able to own a gun.

---

Online headline: "WikiLeaks Defies U.S. To Help Edward Snowden" -- OK, NSA, if you are truly invading our privacy to "protect us" (yeah, right), then it should be 'a piece of cake' to take down WiKiLeaks.

---

Online story: "WASHINGTON — The former National Security Agency contractor who disclosed a highly classified surveillance program has had his U.S. passport revoked, an official said Sunday." -- Oooooooo.... that'll show him who he's messing with! Wouldn't be surprised if Snowden responses by revoking Judas 00-bama's birth certificate.

---

Online headline: "Jihawg Ammo: Pork-laced Bullets Designed To Send Muslims Straight ‘To Hell' " -- Get it... Ji-Hawg? What really need is Anti-BS ammo to wear around politicians so they will simply go straight when in Washington.

Online story: "ATLANTA — Police say an armed man trying to rob customers outside an Atlanta shoe store was fatally shot by one of the patrons waiting in line to buy sneakers. * the shooting happened Saturday morning in the city's Little Five Points neighborhood, where people lined up outside Wish Clothing to buy new $180 sneakers endorsed by Miami Heat star LeBron James. * Witnesses told police a man armed with a gun tried to rob people standing outside the store. But one of the customers drew his own handgun and shot the robber. Police say the suspect ran just a few yards before he fell dead. * Atlanta police officer John Chafee says the shooter won't be charged because investigators determined he fired in self-defense." -- Hmmm, wonder if the police took the shooter out of his space in line, or whether the police just backed off figuring that guy wasn't going to give up his chance to buy $180.00 shoes.

---

From the "you don't say" department - Online headline/story: "IRS Sent $46 Million In Refunds To 'Unauthorized' Workers At One Atlanta Address * As the audit report discloses, the Atlanta address is one of several that received a high number of refunds for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) tax returns. ITINs are issued to those who are ineligible to obtain a Social Security number. However, it seems, the application for these identification numbers is flawed." -- "Flawed"? All the government can think of is that the system is "flawed"? Well, at least it didn't say "allegedly" or "may be" flawed.

Random thought: Once the minorities of this country become the majority, are they going to extend the same welfare safety nets for the minority white populace?

---

From the L-E's "Today in history ": "One year ago, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi was declared the winner of Egypt’s first free presidential election." -- To quote an oft seen billboard question denoting Judas 00-bama being president, "How's that working out for you?".

---

L-E story: "Just a year after its centennial celebrations, the Girl Scouts of the USA finds itself in a different sort of squeeze. * Its interconnected problems include declining membership and revenues, a dearth of volunteers, rifts between leadership and grass-roots members, a pension plan with a $347 million deficit, and an uproar over efforts by many local councils to sell venerable summer camps." -- "a pension plan with a $347 MILLION dollar deficit"? First, why does a volunteer organization have a pension plan, much less one in such disarray, but now we know why Girl Scout cookies have gone up in price so much, and we know aniother increase is on the way. Next year, just make a$10.00 donation (or more) to the troop of the GS who asks you to buy cookies again.

---

L-E's "Late laughs": "GERMANY IS mad at the United States for the NSA eavesdropping. This, ladies and gentlemen, from the country that gave us the Gestapo. — David Letterman" -- Letterman, your comment would be funnier if you asked why Judas 00-bama KEPT the Gestapo idea rather than rejected it.

---

Just funny.. especially in a liberal newspaper:

---

L-E headline: "Auburn tech company helps top aircraft fly " -- "helps... fly"? Well, I certainly hope so.

---

8:00 PM.. tonight and Tuesday... ESPN... Mississippi State takes on UCLA for the College World Series championship series. Game 3 on Wednesday if we need it. Go State Go!
