HuffPOOPOO headline: "Marco Rubio says tax bill 'probably went too far' on corporate handouts" -- This is why Rubio was a "little lightweight" as a presidential candidate... and Senator ...he thinks "small".

Liberals feel America will be vastly improved as soon as Trump leaves office...know something..I agree..by the time Trump leaves office...in 2024...and Pence takes over, America will be Great Again!

There's another list out there.. a list of "The 9 worst-run cities in the US" * Chattanooga, Flint, Oakland, Hartford, Cleveland, San Francisco, New York City, Detroit, and Washington, D.C. * As more Americans move to metropolitan areas, cities are getting larger. (In 26 metropolitan areas, populations grew by more than 10% from 2010 to 2016.) The job of the city official is to balance the needs of these growing populations against their operating budget. * According to WalletHub's study, the nation's capital is the "worst-run" city in the US. Compared to the other cities, Washington, DC has the highest budget per capita and a relatively low quality of services score. * However, it's important to note that the ranking could be skewed. As local radio station WAMU points out, Washington, DC is a city that carries out county and state-level functions. Under WalletHub's methodology, it would appear that the city is spending a lot of money that doesn't improve the lives of its residents." -- So, the main criteria is of "the city is spending a lot of money that doesn't improve the lives of its residents"? While the list stops at "9", I'm sure cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, and Baltimore were "pushing the envelope". Of note is that the mayors of "the 9" (and the 3 others named) are all DIMocrats.. And when use base it on both criteria, a "city is spending a lot of money that doesn't improve the lives of its residents" and with a DIMocratic Party mayor, I guess we can pretty much assume the Columbus, GA is pretty close to making "the list" as well.
---
And there's another list worth parsing.. the 24/7 Wall St list of "States That Are Falling Apart" -- Georgia ranked very well here:
46. Georgia
> Roads in poor condition: 3.9% (8th lowest)
> Deficient bridges: 4.7% (6th lowest)
> Dams at high hazard risk: 11.0% (15th lowest)
> Highway spending as pct. of total: 4.1% (7th lowest)

And without the "Dam data", GA could have ranked even better.. all I can say is that either the "data team" did not count Columbus in its "roads" data, or outside Columbus, roads are in terrific shape..

Online headline: "Pence neighbors in Aspen hang 'Make America Gay Again' banner" -- Oh for the times, whether it was singing "Deck the Halls, or the theme from "The Flinstones" when we could talk about "gay old times" and "gay apparel" without being looked at with rolled eyes.
---
I agree with Newt Gingrich.. come November 2018, the one election issue will be "It's the Economy... do you want We Reduced Your Taxes Republicans or Stupid DIMocrats in Washington?"
---
You know, I could care less about rehashing Huma Abedin's husband, cousin, or e-mails.. there's more than enough evidence already in the system to convict the whole DIMocratic Party officials serving from 2007-2017.

Irreversibly damaged LIV's L-E "soundoff": "As reported by NPR, farmers from Georgia to California did not have enough laborers to harvest their crops. Migrant workers are needed, or the crops go unpicked. Spending money for, not against them, makes sense." First .. who at NPR knows a whit about farming and probably even less about migrant workers.. While not exclusively, migrant workers are generally "illegal aliens". Does this "Irreversibly damaged LIV" realize he/she could start a business loading up migrant workers, carrying them around to various farm sites as temps.. of course, he/she would have to form a company, get permits to so, put the migrant worker with green cards on an actually tax withholding payroll, and deal with their healthcare issues.. I don't think so...

Online headline/story: "It is Now Legal to Defecate and Urinate on Denver Sidewalks! What??? * Denver City Council had an unanimous vote Monday night to decriminalize the offense of people committing certain low-level crimes like lying in a public right-of-way, urinating in public and panhandling." -- Hmmm... bet this cuts into the future marketing of marijuana on the streets of Denver.. when a "vendor" tells a potential buyer the this is "some really good s***" he may be telling the absolute truth.
---
From the "this is absolutely wrong" department - Higher up execs involved in the merger of a local and Atlanta based hospital system issued a "warning" to local hospital mid/lower management.. in an open-ended threat, local management at the hospital were warned not to support Josh McKoon for GA's next Secretary of State.. this amounts to blackmail and/or bribery at a minimum.. In an oligarchy leadership, top level employees are telling lower level employees that their First Amendment Rights have been taken away from them because of top level's political expediency.. It's particularly insulting that the "oligarchy" is dissing Columbus' Josh McKoon in his hometown, and that Columbus Regional gets guaranteed tax revenue from the citizens.

You know, we need a Republican Secretary of State just to protect voter registration procedures and removal of fraudulent voting lists, and I will vote for one, but let's face it, none of the candidates are more qualified than Columbus' Josh McKoon, and Josh McKoon could become the first statewide officer ever elected from Columbus in our voting lifetime. This would counter the taste of having a citizenry that elected bit Mayor Tom-LYING-son.. twice, and overwhelmingly voted for Hellary over Trump.

L-E headline: "COLUMBUS * Many 2017 murder cases connected to other killings" -- Hmm.. how could this be.. time after time, Mayor Tom-LYING-son has been out in front claiming Columbus doesn't have a gang problem...
---
Well, what the L-E doesn't have, apparently WRBL and WTVM do.. WRBL and WTVM named the 15 year old involved in the killing of the pawn shop worker on December 20th. Hey L-E.. his name is Quintavis Williams. Now.. what about the other one?
---
I hate to see pictures of DUI convicts in the L-E, but it does have a purpose.. it alerts people of whom they are dealing with if they want to borrow/use your car (or pull into the drive-thru window of a liquor store).. but what I hate even worse is not seeing what the court did about stripping them of their vehicles and driving rights. I would suggest that habitual violators be subjected with a forehead tattoo.. but if it was an "A", people around here would just think it was an avid fan of Auburn, Alabama or the Atlanta Falcons-Braves-Hawks.
---
You know, when I see the L-E stories on public education issue here in the Columbus area, I wish the L-E would report that the Phenix City School System shows better results than the MCSD and at expenditures per student... the MCSD spends $11,021 while the Phenix City Schools spend $8,644... and get bet ratings.. don't let the graduation rates fool you.. a diploma does not guarantee basic knowledge to take to college or to life.

Hmm.. the L-E 0nline print edition finally gets a headline perfect.. If you subscribe to the Online L-E "print edition", you get extra pages of data.. particularly "sports data".. on 4 pages in today's (Sat) edition, the sports data page headline is "Label Tag With 20
Point Dummy Text".. I scroll by these pages, but at least the L-E has a grasp of it's employee skills... and it's even worse than the L-E execs thought.
---
I love seeing the late night "comics" passing on their economic prowess about the Tax Cut bill in such negative ways.. It just means that liberals bombarded with such crap will be reminded of the DIMocratic Party's unified boycott of voting "FOR" the bill when November comes in 2018 and 2020.
---
L-E headline: "BRIEFLY * Apple apologizes, offers discount for new battery" -- No wonder libs prefer Apple computers and iPhones... they feel they need to be taken care of by single-source acting on their behalf, Wait a minute.. if Apple is doing this to iPhones.. don't you think that Apple is doing it to the batteries in the MAC and Airbooks libs own?
