A "tradition" in our family is my bride and her sister take our daughters on a 2-day overnight shopping trip to Atlanta. My granddaughter will be joining them shopping this year, too. As she was being driven out of our driveway, I mentioned how she would be missed,, and that I would be all alone left here in Columbus. Without hesitation, she thrust "blue bear", her ever present sleeping partner into my hands, and told me to keep "bear" with me so I woudn't be alone. Whatta a little wonder girl... she put what she perceived as my needs over her own.. my heart still beats loudly for her sacrifice... on Christmas Day..
