From the "Thank you... MSM-10.... NOT!" department - Online headline: "TSA is reportedly considering putting an end to passenger screenings at some airports" -- Chances are that the TSA really wasn't necessary at some feeder airports, but there is no need for MSM-10 to ANNOUNCE this to the world's terrorists and wackos.

You know, there's only one thing I can do to protest the CBS's refusal to take action on its Board Chairman Les Moonves. I don't watch any regular fare/news on CBS as it is.. but now it looks like I will have to give up some SEC football games and golf.. I will pray that CBS doesn't get any of the College Playoff Series games or Championship, and that other stations pick up a few UGA and Mississippi State Games, but it looks like I will always have to attend the Masters rather than watch it on TV...hmmm.. maybe this will be a good thing after all.

---
Online headline/story: "Politico reporter ripped for mocking Trump supporters' teeth * Politico reporter Marc Caputo is under fire after mocking the teeth of Trump supporters in a tweet on Wednesday. * After sharing footage of Trump supporters heckling CNN reporter Jim Acosta at a rally on Tuesday night in Tampa, Florida, Caputo dismissed the crowds by saying, “If you put everyone’s mouths together in this video, you’d get a full set of teeth,” in a tweet that now appears to be deleted." -- Hmmm... Capoto will have to change his name... to Kaput.

---
Online headline: "Ohio State places Urban Meyer on paid administrative leave" -- Good grief.. a football coach just got trashed over something one of his coaches did, and yet CBS's Board is ignoring it Chairman's personal peccadilloes... something's not right..

---
Online headline: " Environmental advocacy groups filed a lawsuit on Wednesday to shut down U.S. President Donald Trump's board advising on federal rules for importing big game, saying it is stacked with trophy hunters and politically connected donors and cannot serve the public interest." -- Good grief.. so-called "trophy hunters" are probably some of the best informed environmentally concerned people in America.. and the world!

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Gay valedictorian rejected by parents gets over $80,000 in donations to go to college" -- Good grief.. the gay valedictorian is 18 and wants to go to Georgetown.. and not on a scholarship, mind you.. Doing "quick math" based on figures supplied by Georgetown, basic tuition. fees, meal plan and board come up to $37,329.00 per semester.. that's nearly &75,000.00 per college "year (about 8 months)" not including BOOKs, clothing, transportation or life outside his dorm room in one of the most expensive living areas in the country... not the costs on him for the other 4 months he's not actually enrolled in classes. Don't make his parents out as the "bad guys" because they refuse to pay.. or cannot afford a $400,000.00 "education" for what appears to be a totally ungrateful progeny.

Oh.. all you "donors".. are you prepared to do this annually, because you're still short on his expenses for year one.

---
Online headline/story: "Democratic donor accused of killing a young, gay black man will face no charges * According to the WeHo Times, on July 27th, 2017, Moore was found at the home of Ed Buck, a wealthy, high-profile political activist with a history of making large contributions to the Democratic party. While the police were quick to list his cause of death as an accident. * Moore’s mother, LaTisha Nixon, always suspected foul play." -- You know.. how can drugs mixed with "pay for play" sex be considered "an accident"?

---
You know.. California's new "straw law" will kill an industry.. how can manufacturers who make "juice boxes and pouches" continue to do so since "single use plastic straws cannot be included? Hmmm.. you know, if it wasn't for the wrong reason, I could thank California if juice boxes/pouches disappeared altogether.

---
Online headline: "Liberals still hysterical over Hillary Clinton's loss get their own 'disease' * the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Canada alerts us to psychologists in the United States treating patients with what some in the field are terming “Trump Anxiety Disorder. * And strangely enough, it seems compounded with every good piece of news about the economy and the national security of the United States. ”" -- "disease"? you know.. one day all these DIMocrat "zombies" will awaken.. find their savings and retirement account busting out in growth... and declare, "what were we thinking?" Until then, there's a better .. more accurate name for the Hellary fans... LOSERS!

---
Online headline: "Obama endorses dozens of Dems, snubs Ocasio-Cortez" -- In fact, Obama "endorsed" over 80 various DIMocrats.. and none of them had the following credentials.. "women military vets",, looks like nothings changed about the Obamas' opinion about patriotism.

---
From the "says it all" department - Online headline/story: "'I'm Confused': ICE Official Corrects Hawaii Dem Who Thought Trump Created Immigration Law * Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono was questioning ICE Executive Associate Director for Enforcement and Removal Operations Matthew Albence about the immigration laws being prosecuted by the agency. * " Albence said in response to Hirono asking whether he would want his child put in an ICE facility. * (Albence reponded) "These individuals are [in holding centers] because they have broken a law * Albence corrected Hirono, saying that Trump did not create the law that criminalizes unauthorized border crossings. * "I'm confused," Hirono said. * Albence cited the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, codified under Title 8 of the U.S. Code." -- "I'm confused"? You know.. we probably heard the only "non-lie based opinion by a DIMocrat we will hear from now through November of 2020. Remember the date.. July 31, 2018.

---
Online headline: "Trump 'sanctuary cities' executive order is unconstitutional, US appeals court rules" -- Whoa! Like Hawaii Senator Hirono on immigration law, now "I'm confused".. how can a judge rule Trump's defense of existing legislation and Constitutional support be "unconstitutional"? What is "unconstitutional" is states writing laws that contradict US Federal Laws.

Acura pissed me off when it notified us that my wife's GPS system needed a new $149.00 map disc to update her system.. we had already had arguments when her system suggested one route and my always up-to-date Smartphone system, but when the first "offer came through, I then understood the reason.. and was pissed.. Now, a few months later, Acura is offering that new disc at $49.00.. I thought, if I had paid for the $149.00 update earlier, and found out that less than 6 months later it was being offered at $49.00, I think I might have had some REAL CHOICE words about Acura.. Actually, I do have some, but that was said when I decided "no more Acuras for us".

You know, with the Columbus Aquatic Center failing after but 5 years, Council...no.... Mayor Tom-LYING-son herself..should immediately remind us who the contractor was that built the Natatorium so the public can boycott hiring the same for our personal needs and all future City contracts.

---
Being interested in the swearing in of John House as our new at Large Councilor, I lingered on CGC-TV to hear updates on Westville as it's a project I support..Then the update on what renovating the softball complex would involve. I saw the figure of $5.6 Million thrown about...then I heard what needed to be done, and realized most of it should have been just routine maintenance over the years.. once again, taxpayers money has been wasted by not keeping the facilities safe and clean. We definitely need a forensic audit done now...(just to see how bad all the other facilities are) , and more audits scheduled on a set basis every 2 or 3 years so that Council knows what priorities should be in budgeting. Money for new projects should not be committed when existing facilities need to be kept up properly. And look at what our pools systems are undergoing..

---
Online headline: "Sanders, Warren question whether Dem primary is big enough for both of them" -- Hmmm... sounds like Bernie and Pocahontas have decided to limit the primaries to the two of them...at least that will be a change from 2016 when only Hellary was allowed to win.

---
In retrospect, Columbus would have been better off to build the original River Road roundabout when it cost "only" $1.5 Million.. by now, logging truck accidents would have spurred the City & State to return the intersection to it's original set-up.

---
Betcha Ken Nugent is already bidding on one if those office-condos at the corner (hmmm..will it still be a 'corner' when jt's finished) of River Road and Bradley Park.

---
It's bad enough that guns can be reproduced ..and without ID numbers ..via 3-D printers, but pity California when it's citizens discover they will be able to print off STRAWS as well.

From the "bias? what bias?" department -- Excerpted from a NYTimes opinion piece by Charles P. Pierce: "In Georgia, a Democrat named Stacey Abrams is running against this Brian Kemp guy, who is a public loon. This is my interpretation of the election. " -- "a public loon"? Wasn't the NYT's reputation built on "all the news that fit to print"? Now we know why the NYTimes is evaporating from existence. Oh.. and all Pierce forgot to mention is Kemp is WHITE!

Online story: "Starting Tuesday, smoking is no longer allowed inside public housing nationwide. * The United States Housing and Urban Development announced the new ban in November 2016, but public housing agencies had until July 31, 2018 to start enforcing it. * You can no longer smoke inside of public housing properties or near them." -- Hmmm .. starting on Tuesday, huh.. well.. by 12:01 on Tuesday, I bet there are lawsuits filed by the cigarette Industry AND the Marijuana Industry AND the DIMocrat National Committee!

---
Online story: "Albany-area lawmakers expressed optimism in response to the announcement of a new $150 million Georgia-Pacific lumber facility to be constructed in east Albany.
* “Georgia Pacific bringing this especially unique plant perfectly suited to our timber industry in southwest Georgia is fabulous for Dougherty County and all of us in southwest Georgia. * “Allen Richardson, the regional manager for Koch Co., shared with me that they know we are in the heart of timber country, and they are excited about bringing state-of-the-art technology and 130 quality jobs to our region." -- Hmmm.. so the "never Trump" Koch Brothers are going to work on Sanford Bishop to make sure Bishop doesn't vote for any Trump backed issues...

---
From the "bias? what bias?" department - M/C L-E headLIE/story: "Abrams gets big boost from small donors in Georgia governor’s race * Stacey Abrams is vying to become the nation’s first African American female governor, and donors across the nation — particularly small donors — are pouring money into her gubernatorial campaign. * Sixty-two percent of all Abrams itemized donations are from outside Georgia, according to a McClatchy analysis of campaign filings. * She’s raised more than $6 million so far, and about one-fourth has come from donations under $100, an unusually high percentage. * She’s being helped by Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., a potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate who’s urging supporters to give $10 to the Abrams effort. * Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, Abrams’ Republican rival, has raised more than $130,000 in small donations. * Three percent of the more than $5 million he’s raised has come from beyond Georgia. " -- Outside of the state donations for a state-wide office should be illegal.. what interest... for that matter, what knowledge of state issues,, do out-of state donors have in deciding who can.. will... make decent choices for GA's future. Legislators.. courts.. stop this wrongful practice.

---
From the "Fred Sanford.. 'it's the big one. Elizabeth.. I'm coming to see you" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Trump administration widens availability of short-term health plans * BY ROBERT PEAR * New York Times * The Trump administration issued a final rule on Wednesday that clears the way for the sale of many more health insurance policies that do not comply with the Affordable Care Act and do not have to cover prescription drugs, maternity care or people with pre-existing conditions."Whoa... the M/C L-E just ran a story on more and better healthcare options Trump has created.. to boot, it's a NYTimes opinion piece..and nothing negative was said in the headline of first sentence.. I did not burst my v-bubble by reading further..

---
M/C headline: "Race for governor pits Obama’s endorsement against Trump’s" -- Hmm.. then I guess it boils down to whether GA wants a governor who wants to keep GA Great, or one that supports the apology path Obama initiated.

---
The new "red shirt rule" for college sports.. yeah, the one that basically allows coaches to play a player for nearly half a season with it not counting towards the limit// About the only way I see that will keep coaches from abusing the players id=s to also make it illegal for a "red shirted player" to declare for the NFL draft until he's completed all his eligibility..

---
How about that.. China's economy is suffering under Trump's tariffs while America's is soaring.. this pretty much tells me that the world's trading fields are going to n[=be leveled for all and all will soar. Deal on, President Trump!
