How sick...PA Democrats, from the mayor to some Rabbis, are saying they won't join President and Mrs. Trump in paying respect to the dead, their families, and the survivors. Who are these people not willing to join hands in unity under these circumstances! Later we find out the Rabbis who spoke out are associated with a PAC funded by Alex Soros. Why doesn't MSM-13 report all the facts?

---
It would be nice if MSM-13 gave as much time applauding the 4 wounded police officers for their valor and sacrifice, as it does in blaming Trump for the actions of bigot.

---
From the "CNN has moved even further left" department - Online story: "CNN and star anchor Jake Tapper are under fire for remaining silent when a guest (GQ Magazine columnist Julia Ioffe) on his program declared that President Trump had radicalized more people than ISIS. Hours later, CNN’s Don Lemon drew the ire of Majority Whip Steve Scalise by declaring that Democrats don’t kill people, completing a 24-hour span being labeled CNN’s “new low” by critics." -- "Democrats don't kill people"? How convenient that CNN :forget" that it was a deranged Democrat who shot Steve Scalise and other Republican representatives on a "Republican hunting spree"? CNN has moved on ..no longer does "Fake News" do it justice.. now it's "FLAKE News" as well.

---
How can MSM-13 still attack Trump on everything he does..one of the most absurd happened this past weekend as President Trump denounced the Pittsburgh (_@_) only to have MSM-13 venomously blame Trump for it.

---
Hmmm.. have you noticed how supportive Democrats are of socialist despots, and yet welcoming of the citizens of those countries wanting to escape from them?

Have you noticed, also, how Democrats who vowed to "leave our country if Trump won"... haven't?

---
How can Pelosi claim "healthcare" is the most important issue, yet has nothing new or different from the last time she got a bill passed with no one actually reading it, then refused to work with Republicans to 'fix' it in the last 6 years years?

---
Think about this.... Why is there a confined period of time for "open enrollment" for health insurance?

---
After watching the Missouri Senatorial debates, I'm not surprised how blatant Sen McCaskill is now lying about her support of President Trump...she's now turning on Sen Warren, the Honduran caravan, and "crazy" Democrats.. Hmm, but I guess she feels Schumer isn't 'crazy' because she votes however Schumer dictates, regardless of how Missouri voters feel.

---
Fox News should fire Juan Williams for his political rhetoric yesterday while our First Lady was placing rose's on each of the memorial stands honoring the lives of the 11 people killed in Pittsburgh.

---
I was wondering why the UN wasn't there assisting Mexico from the Honduran et al invaders. Now I find out that the UN is on the scene...HELPING these illegal aliens to get to the USA.. We need to stop..or at least..cut back UN as well as Central American countries aid as well.

---
Online story: “Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were not able to do the job of stopping people from leaving their country and coming illegally to the U.S. We will now begin cutting off, or substantially reducing, the massive foreign aid routinely given to them,” the President tweeted Monday morning." -- Definitely a tool to use, but I think I would add that reducing the foreign aid is tied in to those 3 governments obviously not using OUR MONEY to make things better for their citizens.

---
Stacey Abrams says you are a bigot if you 'stand your ground'. You know, there's no need to "stand your ground" unless....unless someone is trying to take something from you...that's the crime, and law abiding citizens have a right to defend...stand.. their ground.

---
Online headline/story: "Florida Democratic Candidate: I Was ‘Nailed To The Cross’ By Jewish Journalists * Chris King, an evangelical Christian, narrowly lost a race for president of Harvard’s undergraduate council in 1999 after the Harvard Crimson declined to endorse him * “I was nailed to the cross,” King told the Newhouse News Service after the election. “And most of the editorial staff that was so hard on me, the vast majority were Jewish. * (Recently, King said, "“This quote from when I was 20 years old is completely at odds with my beliefs,” he said in a statement. “It was a hurtful and stupid comment and I apologize.” -- We all know Democrats give apologies with a "wink" to their base, but when added onto Gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum's anti-Israel stance, you can only shake your head at the support the Jewish community gives the Democratic Part candidates.

---
One of my BCers passed this thought along, "If Socialism is so good, and Capitalism is so bad, then why isn't the caravan heading to Venezuela?

---
You know, we charge students..well, their parents...even those who work in the MCSD ..to attend school in Muscogee County if they live outside Muscogee County. Why, because such families are not paying property taxes into the City's coffers. Why should City employees be a to be allowed to work while paying taxes to another county..(or state even)...and get to use a Columbus taxpayer paid vehicle to get to&fro work?

---
Have you noticed MSM-13 has pretty much stopped covering the heinous death of Jamal Khashoggi. I guess that MSM-13 really doesn't want to delve into the violence that pervades the Islamic world...maybe that's why MSM-13 pretty much avoids stories about the Democrat politicians who buddy-up with Louis Farrakhan.

---
Online headline: "Whitey Bulger, infamous Boston mob boss, killed in prison, multiple reports say" -- Hmmm...talk about your past catching up with you...

---
Democrats seem to want to poo-poo the job growth under Trump...their first responses are about what they deem as low wage growth..What they don't want to consider is that workers are getting 40 versus 29 hours, and the increases in number of new jobs add more supervisory jobs and more competition for experienced and better qualified workers. Democrats just don't want hourly wage earners to benefit and start voting for Republicans.

---
Online headline: "Hillary Clinton jokes 'they all look alike' after interviewer mixes up Cory Booker and Eric Holder" -- Good grief! I guess it's lucky Hellary is from Shicago rather than a Southern Girl... wait a minute.. she was the First Lady of Arkansas.. In effect. Hellary has looked at Booker and Holder and said, "you people". Where's the MSM-13 outrage!

---
Did hear right...that there are "volunteer buses" picking up Honduran Caravaners on their trek towards America...I might believe one bus owner volunteering a bus, but not a dozen or so...or more.. somebody is paying for those buses expenses.

---
Now, 150 buses have been "requested" to pick up Honduran caravaners and get them to the US border..The US should hold Mexico responsible for locking up those buses and have them ready and available.. to take those rider back to their home countries at the bus owners' expense.

---
From the "hey Mueller,, you missed a witness!" department - Online headline/story: "Abrams campaign deputy resigns after appearing on Russian-funded media * (Marcus Ferrell, an Abrams deputy campaign manager) resigned after he promoted the gubernatorial candidate on a Russian government-funded media outlet that the FBI is investigating as part of a potential Kremlin-backed operation to influence last year’s presidential election. * The show, hosted by Eugene Puryear, frequently features high-profile progressive guests and Black Lives Matter leaders. Other prominent figures have appeared on Sputnik’s airwaves, including two-time Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich and dozens of left-leaning activists and candidates. * The FBI is probing whether Sputnik and another outlet, the state-sponsored Russia Today, are puppets of the Kremlin trying to influence American policy." -- And we know Ferrell would not have been there had not he been ordered/sent by Abrams...

---
Online headline/story: "Hungary Passes 'Stop Soros' Laws, Bans Aid To Undocumented Immigrants * Hungary's parliament passed a series of laws on Wednesday criminalizing the act of aiding undocumented immigrants seeking asylum in the country, despite strong objections from leading European rights bodies. * "The Hungarian people rightfully expects the government to use all means necessary to combat illegal immigration and the activities that aid it," Interior Minister Sandor Pinter wrote according to The Guardian." -- Imagine that.. George Soros is a pariah in his own home country! You know, Soros founded and funded the "Open Society Foundation. Soros named it for a book written by Karl Popper.. Once you understand Karl Popper, your fear of Soros' connection with the Democrats with soar exponentially.

---
Online "headLIE": "Trump claims he can defy Constitution and end birthright citizenship" -- CNN continues it's transition from just "Fake News" to "Fake&Flake News". What Trump has said is he thinks the Constitution already addresses the abuse of the "anchor baby" ploy that has pervaded into our society.. The Constitution emphatically annotates that "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof," The wording specifically excludes citizenship being automatically bestowed on those not subject to our jurisdiction from claiming such. Even naturalized citizens children technically become citizens only after it is earned and granted to their parents. The only interest Democrats have in "jus soli" is to get voting rights for those who have not learned what the value of being a US citizen is all about.

---
What has happened to Sheriff Jolley in Harris County? We thought he was about law and order and consequences for criminals, but he's out endorsing a Democrat for State Atty General by doing an actual ad for him. With as many activist judges sitting on the bench, we do not need an Attorney General who could serve up a procedural "softball" that a criminal attorney can appeal a verdict.

---
President Trump has fought to keep his promises to Make America Great Again in spite of Democrat and RINO opposition that have thwarted some .. especially the Border Wall. We owe it to ourselves to get out and support candidates that will help Trump complete his visions of a strong America!

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Joe Biden says he's 'sick and tired' of the Trump administration" -- Wow! I can see his point.. no Democrat really wants to see individuals to succeed without Socialism... Well, Bleep Veep. you're not nearly as sick of the Trump administration as America was of yours and Obama's administration.

---
From the "something no liberal would ever do" department - Online k]headline: "Justice Kavanaugh declines more than $600,000 raised in GoFundMe campaign" -- Yes,there is a difference when someone has integrity.

---
Online headline/story: "Packers trade Ty Montgomery to Baltimore after disobeying coaches * Via ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Packers are getting a 2020 seventh-round pick from the Ravens for Montgomery, making it crystal clear they were ready to move on from the 2015 third-round pick." -- Too bad the Packers didn't trade him for TAKING a knee rather than for NOT taking a knee..anyway.. being traded for a last round draft pick two seasons away is like discovering the usual last pick in a sandlot game got picked before you.

---
From the "interesting things you run across by accident" department - Hmmm.. so Brad Pitt has a French "home" with 35 bedrooms.. wonder how many nights he has invited homeless people to enjoy one?

---
Online headline/story: "Mueller refers sex assault scheme targeting him to FBI for investigation * Multiple reporters were contacted over the past few weeks by a woman who said she had been offered money to say she was sexually assaulted by Mueller, " -- Hmmm... anybody seen Avenatti lately?

---
M/C L-E headline: "Area schools rated by ‘climate’ factors" -- Well, for once and for all, we know the "climate" is certainly chilled off for learning within the MCSD.. We'll probably see this as documentation for some "climate change" group.

---
M/C L-E headline: "Columbus congressmen weigh effects if Democrats take House" -- Obviously, Congressman Bishop has had but 4 terms of knowledge of such in the 13 terms he's served, and each time, America said, "Enough" after two terms each time. Other than him not knowing what was in the Affordable Care Act, he unabashedly voted for it.. this is why America cannot stomach Democrat majorities very long at any one time. GA District 2 should look very closely at how it's fared under Bishop's representation... but it won't..

Tuesday, October 30, 2018

Did you notice today.. MSM-13 is back putting the "pipe dud" maker back on top of the NYC synagogue mass murderer.. it's it's as all of a sudden MSM-13 realized that President Trump's daughter and son-in-law are Jewish, and MSM-13 doesn't want to bring any sympathy to the Trump family.. that and the (_@_) didn't like President Trump, either.

---
From the "backasswards" department - Online headline/story: "Ty Montgomery disobeyed coach on key play, angering his team * Via an inside-the-locker room story by NFL Media’s Mike Silver, Montgomery was told by coaches to field the kickoff from the Rams’ Greg Zuerlein and simply take a knee. It was the safe play, but the smart one, since Rodgers and the offense would be guaranteed to get the ball at their 25. * But when the kick came, Montgomery fielded it a couple of yards in the end zone — and brought it out. Not only did he only bring it out to the 20 before he was tackled, costing his team five valuable yards, Rams linebacker Ramik Wilson jarred the ball loose, Montgomery fumbled, and Wilson recovered it. * On the sideline, Rodgers was visibly angry, and justifiably so. * “Aaron was hot,” one Packers coach told Silver. “And he had a right to be. He yelled, ‘Take a (expletive) knee!’ He was very, very mad." -- Ty Montgomery would be on the immediate cut/trade list if I was coach... Montgomery is known for taking a knee when it's not in his team's best interest, yet when he was asked to take a knee FOR his team, he didn't.

Hmmm... maybe the Green Bay coach ought to INSIST Montgomery "take a knee" during the anthem...

---
Another from the "backasswards" department - Online headline/story: "FL Gubernatorial Candidate Says If Cops Draw Weapons, They've Gone 'Too Far' * “At the time that a law enforcement official has to go to a weapon, to a gun, to a baton, to a Taser, then they have already had to go too far,” Gillum said. “By their very presence, by the very trust that they inspire in community and society, they are supposed to be able to bring most situations to heel.” -- Good grief.. Gillum feels that police officers WANT to use weapons, but in reality, Gillum feels the same as Obama did with our military in combat zones... Obama's policy was that soldiers had to wait until shot at before engaging the enemy...

---
Liberals disrupted a "moment of silence" for those killed in Pittsburgh. How much do you think they got paid after getting escorted out by security?

---
Wow! Can you imagine the results of the illegal alien invasion taking place in Mexico if Obama or Hellary were in the White House. Thank God they aren't..

---
Good grief...MSM-13 and the DNC claims that Trump's rhetoric is responsible for other people's violence. Nothing is further from the truth..so I guess MSM-13 loves the opportunity to lie about it. The truth is that when conversations are heating up, it is the less intelligent person engaged in the confrontation that resorts to violence as he/she exceeds his/her abilities to discuss with reason and civility..

---
Do we really blame others from wanting to come to America for a better life? No..we really don't , but we do want them to come in legally, and come here to be constructive, and assimilate into what is called the "Melting Pot". The last point is what will keep America growing stronger in the future.

---
Why does MSM-13 insist the Honduran caravaners who stormed the gates to enter Mexico are "migrants"? They are not! They are, at a minimum, illegal aliens, but in reality, they are invaders , and the UN should react as an ally to Mexico.

---
GA Gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp will be in Columbus Wednesday morning at a 7:30 casual breakfast meet at "Stars and Strikes" on Veterans Parkway.. Do hope our local politicians will show up and demonstrate their non-partisan pledge to work hard for all citizens of Columbus.

---
Why does the American Jewish community support Democrats who did not... and still DO NOT... support moving the Capital of Israel to Jerusalem nor the Jewish defense of the Palestinian/Islamic terror attacks, yet not reach out to the Republican Party who has consistently supported the interests of the Jewish community?

---
You know, if there is a flip in the make-up of the House of Representatives, it won't be because voters agree with the Democrat's policies, but because the Ryan led Republicans have failed the American public by not supporting the president we elected.. I like my representative, and feel most people in GA District 3 do also, but for the life of me, I see nothing that GA District 2 has benefited under the past 26 years under Congressman Bishop.

---
Online headline/story: "What are AR-15 rifles and why are they used so often in US mass shootings?" -- Basically, the "AR-15s" (actually stands for “ArmaLite Rifle”, not "Assault Rifle") are no different in action or use than other semi-automatic rifles other than they have a cousin-like appearance profile on a modern basic military weapon. Interestingly, the ArmaLite Rifle was developed in the 1950s, so America has lived with in for 60+ years as a hunting rifle... what's basically wrong is that MSM-13's fascination .. and PROMOTION..with them in recent years has intrigued non-hunters to buy them.

---
So much for the opinion of the directors/producers of "First Man"! Their decision not to focus on the importance of the American unity of the 60s by eliminating the planting of the American flag on the moon, has driven movie goers away from the theaters in droves..the first weekend's disaster "gate" was followed up with a near 50% drop on the second weekend. Not only have my bride and I not gone, we canceled our intended family night where we could show our children and grandchildren how emotionally important it was for America to meet the challenge before Russia, but even more importantly within the time frame of the late President John F. Kennedy set out to meet. Planting the American Flag on the MOON was an important step in American citizens becoming proud of America's Greatness.. AGAIN.. after the damage caused by LBJ!

---
Online headline: "Jimmy Carter wades into Georgia governor's race, asks Kemp to resign as secretary of state" -- Good grief..did Carter resign when Georgians felt he was embarrassing our state? NO.. not even when he was governor...

---
Online headline/story: "Alabama McDonald's gunman killed by armed dad, who is injured in shootout * “He’s my hero. Because I can only imagine how it would’ve went if he wasn’t armed. We might not be here having this interview,” (Markus) Washington said.
You know the McDonald's worker who expressed being thankful that the armed customer who was there took out the masked shooter will probably end up fired for his politically incorrect statement.

---
Does anyone know (have actual knowledge) who's funding the Americans who are feeding and organizing the illegal alien caravan as it travels through Mexico?

---
From the "and how does she know?" department - Online story: "The Georgia Democratic Party, and the campaign of Democrat Stacey Abrams say 4,700 pre-completed absentee ballot requests went missing this fall after they arrived at the DeKalb County Board of Elections, potentially leaving voters confused, and unsure how to cast a ballot in the Nov. 6 midterm elections." -- Something is wrong when a political candidate "knows" how 4,700 absentee ballots are "completed"... it sounds like some sort of collusion at a minimum.. but.. if there's anyone who feels their absentee ballot has been "compromised" they can show up to the polls..and know they are actually "doing the voting".

---
Good grief...Democrat spinmeisters are showing screen shots of their straight party ballot reviews which show 'their votes" being for Cruz. What's happening is that they are showing the screen that allows them to change the vote that the electronic ballot shows before it is "cast", so these 'reporters' can change the result on their own, take a 'screen shot", then change their vote back to what they want, then approve the ballot to actually be cast. It's simply another lie in... no... OF desperation.

---
Here it comes..
100s of young black conservative leaders gathered in our Capital and have be "Uncle Tom'd" by Al Sharatan for wanting to do better than what the Democratic Party agenda will allow them. Shame on Al, shame on the Democrat Party!

---
Of course Rosenstein is stalling from answering questions in a closed committee session..Rosenstein WANTS to get the private committee sessions moved to a "public" setting where he can use the excuse that he cannot discuss "ongoing investigations" or files that are still marked "classified".

---
Amazing -- Tom Steyer attacks Kevin McCarthy as being anti-Semitic, yet Steyer, Soros, and Bloomberg attack Trump as well and are not called anti-Christian?
FOR the record: Tom Steyer's father was a non-practicing Jew, and his mother was not Jewish..George Soros was born in Hungary to a well-to-do "non-observant Jewish family", and Michael Bloomberg.. while actually Jewish, was chastised by NYC's Orthodox Jewish community for calling them "10,000 Guys in black hats" .. Oh! And MSM-13 has gall for sympathizing with these 3 men's Jewish heritage,. they are really nothing but political wonks..

---
M/C L-E story: "The new way Georgia measures the performance of its public schools shows familiar results: The Muscogee County School District continues to lag behind the state average but outperforms most of its similar districts. * The 2018 College and Career Ready Performance Index score for MCSD is 71.7, and the state average is 76.6, according to the Georgia Department of Education, which released the scores Monday." -- Good grief.. while the state average (Average means: worst of best/best of worst) would be marked a "C-" by impartial judges, the MCSD is a "D-", and that's certainly not a performance that should be considering administrative pay raises.. in fact, the MCSB should be looking at replacing such..and the State Legislature should be examining the failures of elected school boards and reconsidering a return to appointed school boards.

---
You know, when "down ballot" Democrats start using National talking points for economically destructive programs as their "platform, you know they have no ideas of their own. Vote Randy Robertson for GA Senate District 29.

---
From the "bias? what bias?" department - M/C L-E "headLIE" : " White House sending large troop deployment to deter migrants" -- "deter migrants?" Dictionaries define "migrant" as: "a worker who moves from place to place to do seasonal work.". One can hardly call invasive illegal aliens "migrants"..

---
Oh! I forgot one of the local "Monday" items.. has there been a Council call for a forensic audit of the Mayor's "private e-mail account"?

---
One other election endorsement: Vote for Danielle Forte for Clerk of Superior Court.. I've always felt that such an official should have a background/degree in the legal field.

---
Now. a repeat of earlier thoughts on the GA Amendments and Referendums on the November 6th ballot:

Let's look at the 5 Amendments on GA ballots this November:

Amendment 1 - Basically, it wants to redirect the sales taxes we already pay to buy more land and maintain existing parks.. Proponents say it won't raise our taxes... but they lie.. Basically, it takes tax revenues the state and local governments already use so the revenues will either have to be made up with other taxes being t=raised, or services cut. - VOTE NO..

Amendment 2 - would set up a Georgia court to hear complex business cases. Republicans broadly supported this one, on the grounds that businesses could get faster, more consistent verdicts from judges who come to specialize in business; and regular courts wouldn’t get bogged down with such cases. Business court judges would be appointed by the governor and confirmed by the state House and Senate judiciary committees" -- Seriously, why would any business want to to give plaintiff attorneys access to a judge that could be appointed by a liberal? VOTE NO!

Amendment 3 - would change how timberland is defined and taxed in Georgia and how counties get reimbursed for a property tax break that the state gives to such land. For several years, some of the counties that have a lot of timberland have felt unfairly treated by the state. This adjustment to the program got near total support in the Legislature." -- Vote NO... two or three times if you can! There is no NEW money tree that the legislators can access to to pay the local governments for the preferential treatment large landowners already get.. this would insure .. even give priority to using the existing revenue flow for something other than was/is planned. Again.. VOTE No!

Amendment 4 - aims to keep people involved in court proceedings if they’ve been a victim or alleged victim of a crime. Crime victims already have rights like the right to be informed if a perpetrator has been let out of prison; this puts those legal rights in the state Constitution. " -- What can I say other than VOTE NO. We have existing laws on the books.. A Constitutional addition would just make it harder to tweak or improve in the future. VOTE NO!

Amendment 5 - will be on every ballot, but it only matters in counties that have more than one public school system, such as a city one and a county one. It gives a new right to the larger school system in any such county to call a vote for a penny sales tax for education, even without the smaller system’s buy-in. But the systems would still share the money — split by enrollment numbers by default — unless they come to some other agreement. -- Vote NO as many times as you can! Columbus will not see a penny of this as we have a combined public education system..and paying another 1% taxes will just drain another $30-$35 MILLION out of our economy.. Council and the MCSB should be adamantly joined-at-the-hip in opposition, and Columbus voters should be single-minded on this issue. VOTE NO!

---
There are also 2 "referendums (referenda) -- what's not said is whether the referendums (referenda) are binding or non-binding.. and even a non-binding "yes" vote gives the legislature an opportunity to writer-rewrite them in salacious ways. VOTE "NO"!

Guess the River Road Roundabout took Monday off... for being "too beautiful to work day".

Monday, October 29, 2018

Pittsburgh... 11 people dead, 6 others, including 4 police officers, were wounded. What has happened! Liberals, whether judges or politicians have basically tried.. or accomplished to eliminate the death penalty, and the (_@_) killer from Saturday will either be a lifetime burden on the Pennsylvania taxpayers, or some procedural error in prosecution will lead to the (_@_) to walk our streets again in the future. Let's hope the PA voters remember that the current Democrat Governor, Tom Wolf, who is seeking re-election, announced a moratorium on the death penalty, calling the current system error-prone and expensive, and announced plans to continue to issue reprieves.

Fortunately, the DOJ has federal jurisdiction, and the death penalty is on the table.. as PA's Governor Wolf has already been "TRUMPED"!

---
From the "bias? what bias?" department - Online headline/story: "Trump hosts campaign rally in Illinois after mass shooting at Pittsburgh synagogue and week of bomb scares * On Saturday morning, a shooter opened fire at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, killing 11 people and injuring six others. *The rest of the week, the nation was gripped by bomb scares as prominent targets of Trump's ire received explosive devices in the mail." -- "bomb scares as prominent targets of Trump's ire received explosive devices in the mail"? You know, if these "prominent targets" of "Trump's ire", and MSM-13 had been working hard post-election to help with Making America Great Again, there would not have been such a violent culture stirring up anger.. Liberals..as the Lord Jesus spoke, "You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye."

---
From the "bias? what bias?" department - HuffPOOPOO story: "A man has been arrested in connection with the mail pipe bomb plot involving more than 10 suspicious packages sent in the past week to people critical of President Donald Trump." -- Hmmm.. "people critical of Trump"? Well, if the "mail-bomber" sent "bombs" to every person who spoke critical of Trump two things would be apparent.. every member of the Democrat Party and 90% of Mainscream Media would have been mailed packages, and the US Post Office would be showing a profit for the first time ever. No, basically, dud packages were mailed to the Democrat "leadership" most in need of a diversion from all the ways they've embarrassed themselves in the past two years.

---
You know...there has been no MSM-13 or Democrat concern about the US Post Office being in more danger than any of the Democrat "targets" the Dems and MSM-13 have focused on...

---
What a wonderful demonstration of the efficiency.. and duty to our country.. of the FBI in bringing the probable mail-bomber under arrest. I guess it's because of integrity in the White House and DOJ/FBI. It points out how political the White House and DOJ/FBI were under Obama as no arrests were made over the Hellary scandals and e-mails or the Fusion GPS files.

---
It's Monday again...and it's now OVER 5 months that Zeph Baker is behind on his legal obligation... and personal promise... to provide his Campaign donation/spending reports. While it's not quite that long, it is getting less likely that Mayor Tom_LYING-son will be transparent about her city vehicle accident.. but then again, we're.. unfortunately.. all to familiar with her lack of transparency. Now we are going to have to add the AquaCenter to our "Monday" list" ... seems it's still not fully up-and-running. Now, what about the dead man who was pulled out of the river with his head beat in? D=Surely the GBI forensic examiner has an opinion of whether the injury was inflicted BEFORE he "entered" the river, or whether it occurred subsequently? I guess I need to add Veterans Parkway centered on the Williams Road intersection.. I swear I saw a story announcing the completion would be completed by the end of August... It also looks like the River Road "roundabout" needs a new.. more appropriate name .. Perhaps a "time elapse" video should be made.. we could call it a sequel to "50 First Dates".. seems like the first week of work will start every Monday.. imagine the project manager's weekly update report: "October 22-26: Put out hundreds of Halloween orange barrel, dumped a "dumping facility" off, and dug two holes".

---
Amazing...the piety MSM-13 and Despicorats have about one psycho who sent mail-bombs, yet acted ..well, did not act at all at 100s of antifa who are on the Soros payroll..

---
Remember "the news" that Mexico was going to stop vehicles in the caravan and remove the illegal aliens...well, guess what.. videos do show Mexican police stopping vehicles...but also shows Mexican police helping illegal immigrants to get into/on such vehicles instead..Guess Mexico doesn't want the criminal elements staying in Mexico.

---
While "face-timing" my daughter and grandson in Atlanta Friday morning, I thought.. what my grandparents in NC would have given to have the opportunity to see us as often as they wanted.. Then I remembered how AT& teased us with video phones, but never followed through with it. What an opportunity AT&T missed at becoming the "best loved" rather than "most despised" company in America at that time.

---
From the "Looks like we found a "corroborating witness" to back up Elizabeth Warren's claim" department - Online story: "the only connection to Native Americans was that Sayoc a decade and a half ago had dated a woman in Minnesota who was a member of a tribe." -- May explain, too, why she didn't get one...

---
Listened to an interview with a Honduran "caravaner" who is on his way back after being deported previously.. . he said he was leaving his family.. his wife and kids.. while he wanted to go back to California and work for his brother again.. Doesn't sound like he's a "refugee" or needing asylum.. just an illegal alien.. a criminal.. wanting to steal an American's job and send American dollars back back to Honduras.

---
From the "justice does prevail" department - Online headline/story: "Avenatti hit with 2nd criminal probe referral after client says he 'twisted' her words about Kavanaugh * nearly three weeks after Kavanaugh's confirmation – that a second, unidentified accuser walked back on her allegations even before the lawyer could post her statement on social media, saying the lawyer “twisted” her words. * "It is incorrect that I saw Brett spike the punch. I didn't see anyone spike the punch. ... I was very clear with Michael Avenatti from day one."— Michael Avenatti's second Kavanaugh accuser" -- Hmmm.. let the disbarment begin!

---
M/C L-E headline: "THE CENTERPIECE * What would the Columbus region have looked like without Fort Benning?" -- One more reason the industrial visionary Columbus businessmen of WWI Columbus should be highly recognized in Columbus/Ft Benning history. Of course the writer missed an important fact.. Columbus, in the early 20th Century was a growing center of industry/mills/retail -- Columbus was already successful, and the existing success was a major factor in landing Camp Benning, and it's evolving into Ft Benning.

M/C L-E headline/story: "For-profit college to close most campuses, including two in Georgia * Worthington told The Telegraph by phone that the Macon campus, which opened in 2010 and had a current enrollment of about 150 students, is set to close in June 2019. The campus on Veterans Parkway in Columbus, which had about 200 students enrolled, is set to close in August 2019 after opening in 2011, Worthington said." -- Hmmm.. interesting.. the TWO Georgia campuses closing are in Macon and Columbus.. and BOTH are in Congressman Bishop's district...

Looks like another banner quarter.. the 3rd quarter GDP grew at 3.5%...and another Obama LIE was also reconfirmed..

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "GM proposes zero-emissions vehicle mandate
General Motors says it will ask the federal government for one national gas mileage standard, including a requirement that a percentage of auto companies’ sales be zero-emissions vehicles." -- "General Motors"? Hey, it hasn't been "General Motors" since the bail-out... now it's Government Motors... and should only be thought of this way.. in fact, Government Motors STILL is $10,000,000.00 short on paying us taxpayers back on the Obama loans.

From the "bias? what bias?" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Migrants travel in groups for a simple reason: Safety * A caravan of Central American migrants traveling to the United States to seek asylum is now halfway through Mexico." -- "migrants"? Good grief.. ever since they broke through the Mexican border, they have been criminals and illegal aliens! Even sadder is that Mexican police officers are "aiding & abetting" their trek in an attempt to move them out of Mexico into the US. And of course the MSM-13 say they travel in "groups".. so do the criminals..only real people call the criminal "groups" GANGS!

---
Online headline: "LeBron James wears Beto O'Rourke hat ahead of Lakers game in San Antonio" -- Hmmm... maybe LeBron should have spell-checked his hat... every Texas fan knows the Texas Mascot is "BEVO".

Some guy in Virginia has a home that is fronted by a School Bus Stop site. His concerns for his property being used as a playground for children while they waited bothered him, but plaintiff pleas to the school system and parents alike went unheeded, so on the first day of school this year, knowing that if children got hurt o=in his yard he had liabilities, he erected a fence around his yard. One curious.. if not arrogant, parent touched the fence.. and got a low-grade shock from a solar-powered shock system. Now the homeowner is the "bad guy".. All could.. would have been averted had the parents honored their neighbors concerns and had the school system simply change the bus site to another yard on the street. You know, I agree that the afflicted homeowner went overboard, but it was his neighbors fault... it was a case of liberalism.. liberals feel that if they outnumber others in a group, they only have to be concerned about how it affects them rather than seeking a solution that is agreeable with other views.

Looking at a WalletHub "list" of cities,, this time the "top" 25 Most dangerous, and we have to wonder why Columbus is not included. Take number 20.. Minneapolis.. last year, Minneapolis had 42 homicides.. 42 homicides in a city of 420,000 people. Chattanooga, TN.. #24..had 31 homicides and a Chattanooga proper population of 180,000. Or # 18, Lansing, MI.. 14.. 14 homicides in a population of 117,000. And Anchorage,AK #16.... 27 homicides out of a population of 294,000. Then there's San Bernadino, CA in a SANCTUARY COUNTY.. #15.. with 34 homicides out of a population of 217,000. There are other "examples" but no explanation as to why Columbus is not in the list.

---
Think about this..think about the warped priorities...the NFL put their foot down when Tim Tebow took a knee to honor God, yet took a powder when Colin KaeperPrick took a knee protesting our veterans, our law enforcement officers, our National Anthem, and our Flag.

---
Lee Corso...visionary or less than smart? It had to take something..whether special or stupid.. for Lee Corso to put the 'Gator head' on ESPN's Game Day...with Evander Holyfield sitting right next to him.

M/C L-E headline/story: "SAT 2018 scores are released, and here’s how Columbus area schools compare * MCSD’s composite score increased by 2 points, from 1051 in the Class of 2017 to 1053 in the Class of 2018, while the Georgia average for public-school students increased by 14 points, from 1040 in 2017 to 1054 in 2018, and the national average for public-school students increased by 5 points, from 1044 in 2017 to 1049 in 2018." -- Hmmm.. while the MCSD overall score came within 1 point of the state's average (Average is either: The worst of the best or the best of the worst).. one little detail is not "explored.. Take away Columbus High School's 1,237 score, and the other 8 MCSD high schools "averaged" 976.5.. some 77.5 points (over 7 percentage points BELOW AVERAGE). Why are raises even being considered for the MCSD administration?

M/C L-E headline/story: "Migrants reject Mexico’s offer of work, shelter * More than a hundred Mexican federal officers carrying plastic shields abandoned a blockade they had formed on a bridge in Arriaga, Mexico, on Saturday, allowing a caravan of thousands of Central American migrants to advance toward the United States. * Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto began a program Friday dubbed “You are home,” which promises shelter, medical attention, schooling and jobs to Central Americans who agree to stay in the southern Mexico states of Chiapas or Oaxaca. Authorities said they blocked the highway to tell people about the government’s offer." -- DOH! Good grief.. isn't it obvious that criminals do not want to stay in Mexico.. all the good money is in the USA, and Mexico will actually enforce the death penalty.

---
From the "bias" what bias?" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Obama rips Trump, GOP for ‘making stuff up’ * Former President Barack Obama criticized President Donald Trump’s tenure in office Friday in fiery speeches in Milwaukee and Detroit that took aim at him and other Republicans for “making stuff up.” -- Making stuff up? Like soaring economics, lower taxes, lower unemployment, lower number of people on food stamps? Maybe Obama would be better off imitating "Jon Lovitz's shtick of ""yeah, that's the ticket".

---
There are a number of "updates" to be reported in the upcoming Council meeting.. obviously missing is an "update" on the finished and ongoing forensic audits.... or an "update" on the mayor's city vehicle wreck.

---
Why is Council even considering letting City employees take taxpayer paid vehicles home to other counties or state? What Council should be considering is making residency IN Muscogee County a prerequisite for WORKING for the Columbus taxpayers.

---
M/C L-E Commentary headline: "Pipe Bomb terrorism shows why we need to come together as a country" -- Dear John Tures-- If you include this column, this is the first column you've ever thought about country unity.. where were you when the antifa were active, where were you on the hateful... divisive.. Democrat Party "inquisition" of Judge Kavanaugh.. No, John Tures.. 30 minutes of "piety" does not make you a peacemaker... but is is a start....

---
Did you see the "ads" that are being placed on the waste containers on the streets of New York City? Below a headline of "Keep NYC Trash Free" is an obese, obviously Southern caricature man, wearing a Trump hat and holding a Chick-fil-A drink. Maybe it's time "we' install a U-Turn on I-94 South at the Mason-Dixon Line, so New Yorkers can not leave to retire in Florida. Until then, Let's make Chick-fil-A the most successful restaurant in New York City!

---
Online headline/story: "Illinois Dem. Candidate for Gov. J.B. Pritzker Fires Staffers for ‘Blackface’ Photo * The photo of a staffer wearing a Pritzker t-shirt was posted to a private Instagram account * According to the campaign, the photo was not meant as a racial comment, but the staffers were fired anyway." -- "not meant as a racial comment"? Of course not.. it was meant to hide the Democrat Party's abuse of the black voters by "camouflage".

---
From the "bias? what bias?" department - Online headline: "Online headline/story: "Pittsburgh Jewish leaders tell Trump to stay away unless he denounces white nationalism" -- "unless he denounces white nationalism"? Isn't it enough that Trump already denounces white AND black hatred and prejudice? Maybe the Jewish Leaders of Pittsburgh should go after Governor Wolf for putting a moratorium of the death penalty and for issuing reprieves for killers on PA's "death row".

---
Online headline/story: "Steyer accuses No. 2 House Republican McCarthy of anti-Semitism * Democratic donor Tom Steyer on Sunday denounced as anti-Semitic a now-deleted tweet from Kevin McCarthy, the No. 2 Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives, that said Steyer and two other wealthy donors were trying to buy the November congressional elections. * It referred to financier George Soros, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Steyer, all billionaires who donate heavily to liberal causes. All three have Jewish family backgrounds. -- Good grief.. what does the men's religious DNA have to do with their inherit hatred for struggling people and desire to keep them under the thumb of government repression? What questions Steyer, Soros, and Bloomberg need to be asked are 1 -Have you ever volunteered to donate any excessive wealth to the US Treasury so such can be used to fund tax-based programs?, and 2 - Have any of them ever invited the homeless to use the spare bedrooms in their many homes across the country/world?

From the "suspicions confirmed, it was style over function" department - Online headline/story: "Some mailed pipe bombs could have been duds, investigators say * In a few cases, the flaws were substantial, the investigators said. In others, the defects were more subtle. But there's still no way to know at this point whether the deficiencies were intentional — to make convincing hoaxes — or simply the result of bad design or construction, the sources said." -- The Despicorats exposed themselves when all the "victims" and MSM-13 reacted with the same "talking points". This was a planned "October Surprise" to divert attention from their inadequacies. Now, my hunch is that Robert De Niro is the one to focus on..he's the one who had the most pressing need for public sympathy and publicity, and the least political motive to be included.

Hmmm... looks like the "unexploded bomb recipients" are organizing and more Despicorats are clamoring to be included in the #andMeToo club.

---
I was tired of the listening to a former FBI director hemhaw over whether the mail bombs were actually dangerous or not, the guy even suggested the bomb maker might be an amateur and bad bomb maker. What crappola!. Even an amateur would, even accidentally, get at least one right. Anyway, I turned off Fox and caught part of the Hawley-McCaskill Missouri Senate debate. I can understand how McCaskill got elected in 2006 during a transition wave, but how did Missouri voters send her back in 2012. America will be the big winner when Hawley takes his seat in January.

How do tariffs actually hurt farmers in the US? If the farmers can make enough for America's needs, and have extra to feed other countries, then US farmers have the upper hand for exporting, and Trump's plan will be great for them.

---
From the "don't you love it when liberals prove Trump right" department - Online story: "Google CEO Sundar Pichai sent an email to all Google employees Thursday saying the company has fired 48 people over the last two years for sexual harassment. Of those 48 people, 13 were "senior managers and above" and none of them got an exit package when they were let go. * The email, which was obtained by CNBC, was in response to a bombshell New York Times story that said Google had shielded a handful of company executives, including Android creator Andy Rubin, from sexual misconduct allegations and offered massive payouts to leave." -- "response to a bombshell New York Times story"? Fred Sanford would have certainly had "the BIG ONE" had he read that Google has called out the New York Times on "FAKE NEWS"!

---
Ask yourself.. How come the UN has not sent troops to Mexico?

---
Hmmm.. One of the best deputy chief appraisers is no longer with the City Assessors Department.. maybe Council should address this next week....
and while Council is at it, it could address a "nasty" rumor that crimes have been committed at a City golf course an employee has been fired...

Oh.. and how about making public the schedule for departmental forensic audits..

---
Online story: "Georgia election officials must stop rejecting absentee ballots with voters' signatures that do not appear to match those on record, a federal judge said Wednesday. * Two federal lawsuits have charged that election officials in Gwinnett County, located northeast of Atlanta, have violated voters' rights by rejecting hundreds of absentee ballots, some of which were tossed due to "signature mismatch" issues. * Georgia election officials must stop rejecting absentee ballots with voters' signatures that do not appear to match those on record, a federal judge said Wednesday. * the parties in the case would have until noon Thursday to comment on the instructions for handling those situations." -- Two things.. the condition of "signature mismatch" is too vague to be considered a valid objection without specifying what kind of "mismatch" should be, but what needs to be foremost is issuing a "stop order" is the percentage of absentee ballots that fail based on "signature mismatch".

---
WTVM 9 story: "COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - News Leader 9 is the first to confirm with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a Columbus child has a confirmed case of acute flaccid myelitis, a rare condition known as AFM. * Ericka Palacios says her 2-year-old daughter, Abigail, was a healthy and happy baby - but two months ago, Abigail’s health took a turn for the worst." -- Whoa! The public has a right.. no, the public has a NEED to know where the infant has seen to by Columbus doctors, or attended to by Columbus childcare centers.. even babysitters two months ago.. Now.. let's pray for Abigail and her family.

---
Newly seated John House gets an A+ for effort.. it's not that I agree (nor have to do so) with him on very issue, but his effort to bring nutshell happenings (with access URLs) to Columbus is outstanding. His e-mail from yesterday was terrific in bringing real life to Columbus citizens busy lives. John House just eliminated Council from having to invite the L-E into meetings...

From the "doom path of the NBA's G-League" department - Online story: "Darius Miles teamed up once again with best friend and former Los Angeles Clippers teammate Quentin Richardson to answer one question everyone asks: What the hell happened to Darius Miles? * “Dudes like me ain’t supposed to talk about this type of stuff,” Miles wrote to open his 6,500 word essay edited by Richardson in the Players’ Tribune. “I’m about to tell you some real s–t.” * Miles, 37, said he suffered depression after his mother died, shortly after he left the NBA. The young star was drafted straight out of high school by the Clippers with the third pick in the 2000 NBA draft and retired in 2009 at the age of 27 with knee issues. He played with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies but filed for bankruptcy in 2016." -- "drafted straight out of high school..filed for bankruptcy"? Recently, I included a story about the NBA's G-League plans to encourage 18 year old high school basketball players to skip college and sign up for a $125,000.00 a year salary. I brought up how destructive this would be in getting any somewhat talented, big dreaming teen with any talent for basketball from being motivated to learn even the basics offered in high school classes. Even the very small percent who do get offered a 1 year job before getting "chewed up and spit out" for the next year's crop will find themselves up the Real World 101 creek without the proverbial paddle.

Online headline/story: "Georgia town mayor announces sex offenders will be detained on Halloween * “In order to ensure the safety of our children, all sex offenders (on Probation) in the City of Grovetown (area) will be housed in the Council Chambers on Halloween night from 6pm-9pm.,” the town’s mayor, Gary Jones, announced in a post. * Four officers from the Georgia Department of Community Supervision District and one Grovetown officer will supervise 25-30 offenders. The detainment does not apply to all convicted sex offenders — just those on probation or parole." -- Wait a minute.. there are convicted sex offenders roaming around children who do not have life-long orders and conditions to abide with? Where's Sen. Diane Feinstein when we need her yelling, 'We need a new law!"

Was looking at a list (WalletHub) of states with the worst roads.. even Alabama is rated better.. of course, Columbus drags GA down.

---
Megyn Kelly is out at NBC.. here's a lesson worth remembering.. libs love conservatives when they are challenging conservatives, but once the "honeymoon" is over, it is OVER!

---
M/C L-E headline: "Abrams defends burning state flag, Confederate symbol" -- Obviously Abrams misread the quote of " A good offense is the best defense" A "good offense" is not the same as an "offensive" action.

---
M/C L-E guest commentary headline: "It’s a fact, and a good one: Fort Benning is Columbus and Columbus is Fort Benning * BY BOB POYDASHEFF * Special to the Ledger-Enquirer -- Excellent read! One thing is missing from the Ft. Benning/Columbus connection.. a proper plaque honoring the foresight of the Columbus citizens that recognized the value of Ft Benning, and brought about Ft. Benning's permanent status in our town.

---
You know.. we heard about the Northside "softball mom" suing the MCSD about equality/discrimination. but you know, why is it an issue at all.. why are there designated "boys" and "girls" sports team in this environment of gender being determined by a person's "feelings"? Think about the opportunity for second team or freshman boys in the baseball program getting more "on field experience" by playing on the "fast pitch softball team".

---
No Roundabout pics today either.. just another day of "billions" of orange barrels and rusting heavy road equipment... Hmmm... I wonder if the City can recycle the build-up of rust  on those pieces of equipment to offset the rental costs of idle equipment?

From he "bias? what bias?" department - Online headline: "Prominent conservative activists and talking heads are promoting a conspiracy that Democrats sent explosive devices to Clinton, Obama, Soros" -- Think about it.. Hellary, Pric Holder, Obama, Maxine Waters, Brennan, and Soros get non-exploding-on-opening packages.. Who are these folks.. How about they are the most embarrassing spokespersons and are ruining the chances for the Despicorat Party to regain majorities of the House and Senate. Why... why would any Republican WANT to shut those "JACK-ASSets" up!

---
The ruckus surrounding the mail-bombs sent to the Clinton's has brought real scrutiny on the Clintons... their home is surrounded by an eight-foot wall. How come the Clinton's are so set against a wall on our Southern border?

---
The Democrat's out of the bag...NY Governor asked could we just be civil about this...whatta flinch he's made in trying to act innocent of knowledge about which party is behind the bomb packages. If anything, the "dud bombs" have blown up in HIS face.

---
When you think about it, what the Despicorats did to Kavanaugh was as equally wrong as what the Saudi Arabians did to Jamal Khashoggi? Both were subjected to a mob mentality execution.

---
Hmmm... After the "Roseanne-Less" Show dropped 35% of it's audience re-opening week, it followed with another 25% drop in audience this week Maybe ABC should rename "The Conners" to "The Big Blam". Looks like a lot of careers are now over.

---
Online headline: "Head of CNN rips Trump after bomb found at network" -- With the cast of anchors at CNN, how would Zucker even know/realize another "bomb" had arrived?

From the "Red Allen: "Well, how about that." department - WTVM 9 headline/story: "New Netflix comedy to be set in ‘small town of Columbus, Georgia’ * Netflix has announced a new family comedy that has just begun production in Los Angeles. * ‘Family Reunion’ will be headlined by Emmy Award winner Loretta Devine and Tia Mowry-Hardrict, of ‘Sister, Sister' fame. * According to a press release, Mowry-Hardrict will play Cocoa McKellan, a Seattle mother who travels, alongside her former football-playing husband and their four kids, down to the McKellan Family Reunion in small town Columbus, Georgia." -- Hmm.. I have a "feeling" we're going to enjoy a show about Columbus without Mayor Tom-LYING-son in the picture..

---
Warning! Identified Helicopter-Mom in the area" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "MCSD sued for discrimination by mother of player on Northside’s championship team * The lawsuit accuses the school district of violating Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and the the Equal Protection Clause in the constitution’s 14th Amendment by discriminating against Tante’s daughter, based solely on her gender * Tante wants MCSD to be required to provide her daughter with the treatment and benefits equivalent to what the school district provides the boys’ teams, as well as “monetary relief in order to compensate her for her damages” resulting from MCSD’s alleged discrimination. Those damages include expenses for equipment and supplies not incurred by parents of male MCSD athletes, plus damages associated with “reduced opportunities to obtain college athletic scholarships.” * Tante wants MCSD to be required to provide her daughter with the treatment and benefits equivalent to what the school district provides the boys’ teams, as well as “monetary relief in order to compensate her for her damages” resulting from MCSD’s alleged discrimination. Those damages include expenses for equipment and supplies not incurred by parents of male MCSD athletes, plus damages associated with “reduced opportunities to obtain college athletic scholarships.” * etc, etc, etc" -- Seriously? Much of the baseball equipment is provided by or funds are raised by parents of the baseball players and nothing stops softball parents from doing the same... and as for college scholarships, helicopter-mom must understand that colleges pick the best talent available, and the size of a program has little to do with whether a player rises into the spotlight. * In Fact, any college who had any interest in her daughter.. probably just lost all interest.

Online headline: "Jane Fonda Claims It’s ‘Hard’ for Her to ‘Breathe’ in Donald Trump’s America" -- It should be hard for Jane Fonda to breathe...as well as face both the past and the future. Donald Trump's America is the one that our veteran fought for in spite of the "Jane Fondas" of the world.

---
Roundabout Day 3.. No picture today, didn't catch anyone or any equipment moving. The Backhoe and dirt packer haven't moved as much as all the heavy equipment stored out on Farr Road.

---
Online story: "Federal prosecutors investigating corruption at Atlanta City Hall have issued a subpoena to the private attorney of a Cobb County motorist who in 2016 was struck by former Mayor Kasim Reed’s city-issued SUV." -- Hmmm.. could Mayor Tom-LYING-son be next on the list?

---
Oh, and has the AquaCenter reopened yet? Haven't seen any announcements, and it was closed last August"

---
Online headline/story: "Jamal Khashoggi latest: Saudi crown prince says all culprits in 'heinous crime' will be punished * He also said Saudi Arabia and Turkey will work together "to reach results”." -- Hmmm... key word here is "where"... as in "Where will the trial take place?. In Turkey, there's no death penalty.. in Saudi Arabia, death is mandatory...

From the "Despicorats trick": department - Online headline: "Gillum targeted by new racist robocall in Florida governor race" -- "Targeted"? No way...o way that this would be initiated/condoned by Ron DeSantis. Just a typical Democrat "October surprise". Of course, NBC.. a.k.a. "NoBody Corroborates".. ran with this in it's typical "rush to judgment".

---
MegaMillions frenzy is over.. somebody in South Carolina hit the jackpot last night.. Reality will set in when he/she realizes that even winning $1.6 BILLION +/- won't get them into the Forbes 400.

---
As for our venture into the lottery.. we're usually not a "player" but when $1 Billion and $1.6 Billion was on the line, we just had to be "in the game". Last Friday' I got back $12.00 in interest money (a Power Ball and a 3-number pick), and today, I'll cash in $14.00 (2 O[Power balls ans a 3-number pick) Let's see.. $400.00 "invested", $26.00 returned... not exactly a plan to get rich any time soon.. Well, at odds of 302,000,000-to-1.. we could have been "shut out" altogether...

---
GA gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams lost me completely when she said there are no other solutions for healthcare other than Medicaid. Believing only 1 solution will work means she will not listen for new ideas.

---
Well..day 2 of the much heralded start of the roundabout project did a shade more than day 1... yesterday, the contractors put out a display of orange barrels canvassing the area like a well orchestrated Halloween decoration competition....and I imagine those orange barrels will remind us of Thanksgiving "pumpkins" next month.

---
From the "if you ever wondered why road projects seem to take 4-times longer than you'd think they should take:

Caption: It's a hard job... but someone has to do it... while 3 others watch...waiting their turns.

From the "Fraud 101" department - Online headline/story: "Judge bars New Hampshire proof of residency requirement for new voters * A New Hampshire judge on Monday put on hold a law requiring some voters to present proof of residency when they register, saying it would lengthen lines at polling places and make it difficult for students, disabled voters and others to cast ballots. * “Where the law threatens to disenfranchise an individual’s right to vote, the only viable remedy is to enjoin its enforcement,” Presiding Justice Kenneth C. Brown wrote in his decision for the Hillsborough Superior Court Northern District in Manchester." -- Hmmm...so college students can register to vote..from their temporary addresses...now, since New Hampshire college students will now be considered New Hampshire residents is New Hampshire going to eliminate their out-of-state tuition fees? And the "fraud" part.. how many of the New Hampshire students are already registered in another town and/or state and have gotten absentee ballots?

---
From the "as previously predicted" department - Online story: "A growing number of auto dealers around the country is seeing a noticeable drop in retail sales and customer traffic in showrooms, raising the possibility that a long-anticipated slowdown in auto sales has arrived. * "We are definitely seeing business pull back," said Scott Adams, the owner of a Toyota dealership in Lee's Summit, Missouri, just outside Kansas City. "September was off some, but this month our car sales are down 12 percent and our truck sales are down 23 percent." -- Car manufacturers/dealers have become so focused on
"selling the payments", regardless of whether it's a "sale" or "lease", that they haven't watched price of their cars escalate towards the absurd.. Now, with rising Fed interest rates, fewer people wanting new cars can afford the higher payments, and dealers are stuck with high priced lease returns and trade ins.

---
From another BCer: I love bumper stickers.. One of my BCers saw this one.. and boy is it pertinent to what's going on in our world today: "Heaven has a beautiful wall and strict immigration policies!! - Hell has open borders!!"

---
Have you noticed how MSM-13 is tiptoeing around the death of Khashoggi? Guess MSM-13 doesn't want to compromise its relationship as supporters of Islam.

---
Have you noticed that MSM-13 has focused so much on how Trump will respond to the Saudi killing of a journalist and the "Honduran Caravan" that wonderful stories of the hurricane clean up are ignored..Let me ask MSM-13 this.. aren't there a ton of other journalist missing or incarcerated throughout the Islamic world that MSM-13 has ignored themselves?

---
And even more of an embarrassment for the Mexican government is it's claims 7,000 unarmed people have "overwhelmed" it's attempt to curtail the caravan..It wouldn't take more than a 100 soldiers to direct the 7,000 to any bullring along the way and process them. Confirming personal IDs and corroborating DNA samples for adults saying children are theirs before redirecting them forward or home.

---
Let me get this straight...Obama says he should get credit for starting the economic rebound we are seeing under Trump...yet Trump says all he's doing is lowering the Obama taxes and removing some of the Obama imposed regulations and signing the energy bills Obama wouldn't. Hmm.. go figure...

---
Talk about a breakdown in communications, Obama is out trying to take credit for Trump's soaring economy, while the DNC is dead set on stopping it!

---
You know... it's really strange how public schools have dodged the issue of Common Core, even though it's number 1 promoter and philanthropist.. Bill Gates.. has pretty much written it off as a failure...

---
Online headline/story: "Harvard-Harris Poll: 76% of Registered Voters Do Not Support ‘Open Borders’ * Seventy-six percent of the respondents (1,093 people) said “we need secure borders.” Twenty-four percent of respondents (354 people) said “we should have basically open borders.” -- Surely Despicorats cannot see this, yet they ignore it as they can only see :new voters if they can legitimize them...

---
One of my idea exchangers brought up an interesting and pertinent question concerning the complex incident being fueled by the Honduran caravan.. where is the UN? By "overwhelming" the Mexican border gates/defenses, the UN should have been on site to turn back what only can be an invasion.

---
From the "some say Chicago.. I say SHIcago" department - Online headline: ":Chicago funeral shooting leaves 6 wounded, report says" -- Is nothing sacred on the streets of Shicago?

---
From the "liberalism is it's own implosion" department - Online headline: "Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in notes to law enforcement: 'I did what is necessary'" -- Good grief...liberalism has kept this terrorist alive and basically made him a "living martyr". There should be no other sentence but death for capital terrorists!

---
From the "hmmm I see we're gaining a few more conservative voters" department - Online headline/story: "Michigan brothers face $450,000 in fines for tree removal on their property * Brothers in Michigan are facing nearly $500,000 in fines for allegedly removing more than 1,400 trees from their 16-acre property without permission, a report on Monday said. * Gary and Matt Percy removed the trees with the intention of creating a Christmas tree farm on the Canton Township plot, their attorney Michael Pattwell told MLive.com. The attorney said that the land was filled with invasive plants." -- Good grief... you guessed it.. the mayor and county manager are DEMOCRATS!

---
I tell you what...nations grow when the economy is working... seriously, with the economy soaring since 2016, if you're not better off today than two years ago...it is your own fault for voting for .. and believing in...Despicorats in past and supporting them now.

---
What great..and cryptic message Trump has delivered.."Democrats create jobs, Republicans create Job". I want a bumper sticker like this!

---
Just heard Jessica Tarlov absolutely lie about who makes up the mob in the Honduran caravan..She said 2/3rds were women and children...yet the real figures show that 65% are men.

---
I wish Fox would tell us whether or not they pay any "appearance" money to Jessica Tarlov....it's obvious she's a Despicorat spinmeister.

---
Strange...yesterday morning when I cut on Fox News at 8:00 AM yesterday, I was greeted with a blank and silent screen...funny I could get CNN, and even Fox Business News, but not Fox News. I ended up listening to Fox Business News on the TV in my kitchen while I waited for Fox & Friends to come up in the living room. As I am writing this, it's been over 17 minutes of 'blackout'.

After seeing Stacy Abrams' name on the list of attorneys involved in the assault on Columbus' Constitutionally protected "Property Tax Freeze, I have to wonder if anyone has pictures of John Pezold standing between/with Abrams and and Mayor Tom-LYING-son....
Talk about an image of a "Triple Whopper"!

M/C L-E guest commentary headline/content: "The moment Fort Benning and the Chattahoochee Valley fell in love * I don’t know the exact date, but life became better for soldiers stationed at Fort Benning during the fall of 1990. I watched the relationship between Columbus/ Phenix City and Fort Benning change almost overnight." --
Good grief! the Columbus/Ft Benning relationship began in 1917.. was cemented in 1918, and has flourished ever since.. Newcomers should research history before trying to rewrite it...

Online headline/story: "Michael Avenatti claims he can beat Trump if he runs for president in 2020 * Avenatti gave a series of fiery speeches at Politicon over the weekend claiming Democrats do not have a candidate that can beat Trump in the next presidential election." -- Hmmm.. yep.. we are finding out that Despicorats pretty much beat themselves.

---
Online headline: "Lioness suffocated the father of her three cubs at Indianapolis Zoo" -- Hmmm... and MSM-13 has decided to start a campaign to rename her... #MeToo.

---
Good grief..the Mexican government says 7,000 people..men, women, and children have "overwhelmed" their efforts to stop them trekking 2,500 miles through Mexico...gimme a break. All of them together would fit into any bull ring and their needs could be addressed and processed. Cut off all aid to Mexico until the the Wall is built!

---
Trump is a master businessman..He just mentioned he's going to add an additional 10% tax cut on middle-income families...knowing the Despicorats will not support it.

---
Huh? Did we hear right? I swear I heard DNC chairman Tom Perez say he's known all along the November mid-term elections would be close..very close.. Wait a minute...I know I heard Perez and Pelosi and Schumer all proclaiming that the November mid-terms would be a Blue Tsunami Wave.

---
You know, with all the work that has to be done at the roundabout, where are all the workers going to park that won't inconvenience residents or traffic?

---
No wonder highway projects don't get done on time...I guess the River Road Roundabout folks who didn't show up for work early this morning were on coffee break, and had such a good time they decided to make it a lunch break as well. After a week of broadcasting via the 'silent policemen' on the side of the road all week telling us work would begin on Monday, powers that be decided it was too intimidating to actually start working...after all, it's been 6 years since this was initiated so what's another year or two.

---
At least the Reaves Company (doing their job) thought there might be "movement" on the Roundabout site on the first day.. but obviously Reaves was wrong. I guess what "they" needed was the Mayor on hand to make sure the Roundabout Queen TT Lounge was open.. Whatta a photo-op!

-----
Did you see/ hear the Pelosi accosting in Miami last week? Too be honest, it sounded a lot like what we expect from the antifa demonstrations ..you have to consider this possibly was staged by the DNC/Soros coalition, trying to imply that Republicans are just as uncivil as Despicorats.

---
John Barrow...Democrat for GA Secretary of State is little smarter than most Democrats...he's campaigning like he's Republican, and at the same time declaring that he's a Democrat who won't bite...he lies...the only way he won't bite is if he doesn't win.

---
Antwan Toney... A Georgia policeman .. shot down in cold blood checking out a suspiciously parked car near a school last Saturday. Now is the time that "Black Lives Matter" needs to define how it feels about the lives of all Police Officers. His murderer is dead now.

---
Since flu shot givers wipe the injection site with alcohol swipes, and use a new sanitized needle, why do they put on two latex/vinyl gloves each time?

---
You know, conservative voters in Muscogee County-Columbus really do have incentive to get out and vote...in spite of campaigns to discourage voting, the best Hellary could get was 59% of the local vote in 20!6 , and Columbus' votes for Kemp could make the difference state wide. Don't regret not voting!

---
Hmmm.. the M/C L-E "Foreclosure Section" was only 11 pages this week.. guess one page got processed since last Tuesday.

---
Over 100,000 people...Trump people applied for tickets at the rally for Cruz in Houston Monday night. Even though the event was moved from.one arena to a bigger one, only 18,000 can actually be admitted. Compare this to a Joe Biden rally this past week when the left was excited that 197 people showed up., or an Obama one where only 2,000 came.

---
What are we gonna do with California! Hmmm...did you realize...before now, that Gavin Newsom, a candidate for governor of California, is Nancy Pelosi's nephew? Maybe we need a fence around the Pelosi gene-pool.

---
Online headline: "Unannounced called school board meeting scheduled for Wednesday * A special called meeting on Wednesday that has not been announced to the public will help members of the Muscogee County School Board complete Dr. David F. Lewis annual evaluation and might lead to a pay increase for the school superintendent who has been with the district since 2013." -- You've seen what the L-E has reported about test results, and you seen other reports I have found and added to what the MCSD and M/C L-E have wanted you to see. How can the board be comfortable rewarding mediocrity?

---
One FaceBook supporter of Stacey Abrams defended her part in trying to uproot our Constitutionally protected Property Tax Freeze here in Columbus.. He said he didn't like paying more than his neighbors.. Did a little checking in the Muscogee County Tax Database, and found out this complainer actually has a "HD - 100% Vet 65" homestead exemption, and actually pays ZERO in property taxes! (Parcel ID 092 023 005) I wonder how much LESS his neighbors pay?

---
M/C L-E headline: "Films shot at fort brought John Wayne, Mel Gibson, Brad Pitt and movie magic to town" -- Got to go "on site for several of these.. in fact my mother was an extra in "The Green Berets".

---
M/C L-E headline:"Governor’s race puts new focus on voting rights" -- You know.. Voting is a right.. of citizenship.. citizenship of this country and the state/district you want to vote in.. What does not the L-E/MSM-13 discuss that with every "right" we have, we also have a "responsibility". We need to assure that no citizen's voice is offset by an illegally cast vote. Therefore, it behooves EVERY voting-aged and bonafide citizen to properly identify his/herself to protect theirs and every other citizens Constitutional right.

Correction .. (and my apology to the Mayor).. apparently she did show up at Ft Benning Thursday night, but somehow in an "open concept room", Ms Photo-Op somehow became invisible to me.... or she had her "avoid at all costs" Kirven-radar-detector enacted... Anyway. I'm glad she did attend, but I do "feel" (THINK, too) that she should have joined General Brito and his bride when the General welcomed everyone to the event to show that the unity of the community that created the Ft Benning-Columbus bond in 1918 was still as strong today.

---
Ah!... It's Monday again..
Zeph Baker still hasn't revealed his campaign donors or expenses, and we still don't know whether the mayor complied with City rules pertaining to wrecking a city vehicle... or two. Now we can start counting down to the finish date of the River Road Roundabout as it finally starts today.. of course we have to add 2 weeks extra for the orange barrels that are already racking up rental costs. Oh, and another week has passed and we still don't know whether the man with the bashed in head who was pulled out of the river last August was murdered or what. Speaking of dead men pulled out of the river, was there ever a determination of the cause of death of the Whitewater Rafter that was thrown from a raft?

---
From the "bias? what bias? department - Online headline: "President Trump threatens to turn away thousands of Central Americans as migrant caravan continues north" --"threatens.... threatens to turn away thousands of Central Americans"? -- Good grief! President Trump is doing his Constitutionally charged duty to enforce our laws and protect our country and our fellow citizens! It's that simple. Maybe it's time we put a new requirement on American "journalists".. that they pass the Citizenship test administered to out naturalized citizens before they can publish any reports/stories.

---
I hear the Despicorats complaining about how Trump is basically avoiding the issues with Saudi Arabia, but none were concerned about Obama's Apology Tour, and bowing down to Muslim dictators.

---
Good grief...saw clips of Rosie O'Donnell chastising Donald Trump and his 'merry white privileged men'. Excuse me, but Trump has been elected to lead our country, while Rosie just 'feels' she can attack him because can...talk about PERSONIFYING 'white privilege'!

---
WTVM 9 TV headline/story: "Columbus police confiscate drugs disguised as candy as Halloween approaches * Officers seized several different drugs disguised as candy yesterday. * They say the lollipops and Tic Tac look-a-likes they seized are suspected to be laced with ecstasy and THC." -- Hmmm...Drugs disguised as candy...sorts makes sense since the families of the dealers will swear in court they are really nice and would never sell drugs.

---
You know, if the Honduran Caravan is suppose to be timed to benefit Despicorats in the November mid-term elections, how are the people getting here. We see pictures/videos of men, women, and children walking and they have 2,500 miles to travel (from Mexico's southern border to Sam Diego) in what ... 15 days. That's about 166 miles a day..even if they don't sleep, and walk around the clock, that's almost 7 miles per hour ..it's over 6 marathon races PER DAY ..for 15 straight days. Something tells me that the Despicorats have some Rosie Ruiz (Boston Marathon cheater in 1980) type cheaters hiding on the route who will jump out in the last few miles and claim they ran the whole way.

---
From the "#He-TOO!" department - Online headline/story: "CNN's Acosta sends private message to former Melania Trump aide: 'F--- you' * CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta sent a direct message to a Twitter follower that read "F--- you" after being mocked on the social media platform on Thursday night. * Direct messages can only be seen by the sender and receiver, but Justin Caporale, a former aide to first lady Melania Trump, made Acosta's message public by tweeting it to his own followers." -- "F... YOU? Hmmm...Sounds pretty much like a verbal sexual assault!...and certainly not very civil nor unbiased.

---
You know.. we can talk about how good it would be if California Despicorats would run someone other than Maxine Waters for Congressional District 43, but.. remember what happened in GA's District 4.. remember Cynthia McKinney? We got our wish.. but we got Hank Johnson.. Remember Hank "Guam will flip over if we put all our military equipment in the base" Johnson. There are actually times I wish McKinney were still in Congress.

---
From the "when the effect of drinking Despicorat Kool-Aid wear off department - Online headline/story: "Brookhaven parks bond opposed by group that helped create it * The public opposition by four of the five members of Parks and Recreation Coalition of Brookhaven reverses their previous impartial stance and follows the recent creation of a “Yes for Brookhaven Parks” group. Not all conservancies or “friends of” groups within PARC are opposing the bond. * “PARC of Brookhaven has determined that it is imperative to change our position from neutral information source to advocate for a ‘no’ vote on the upcoming potential bond,” PARC Chair Sue Binkert said in an Oct. 16 statement. * They say the bond would hike property taxes unnecessarily, adds projects the public never approved, and ignores alternative funding sources." -- Hmmm... sorta like "Save Hilton" here in Columbus.. so much for MidTown "rubber stamping" Mayor Tom-LYING-son's T.A.D. initiatives...

---
OK...everybody....mark your calendars... this is Monday, October 22, 2018...and a "road message board" on River Road has been announcing all week that the "Roundabout" construction begins TODAY! Let's see...the original plans go back to 2012, and the first attempt to begin was scheduled for the summer of 2014 (but was scrapped after glaring flaws were pointed out 😎) and new plans were presented in February of 2016, and now it starts. Don't forget that what started out as a GA DOT project with the state picking up the projected $1.5 MILLION cost now has become a $4.6 MILLION dollar project that Columbus taxpayers are picking up..that's swing of $6.1 MILLION.. plus whatever the rent is on large backhoe, dirt packer and a bunch of orange barrels cost for sitting unused for the past two weeks. Now, mark your calendar and make sure it's one you see daily so.you won't forget how much it costs or how long..if ever..it'll take to finish.

Oh, I'm gonna throw out an "over/under date for the roundabout's completion (when the LAST orange barrel is removed): October 22, 2020.

---
Have watched as one new home was finished.. and as another one is being erected on the 5700 Block of Green Island Drive (portion south of the roundabout)... I wonder if the new owners realize that they will no longer have access to Green Island Drive north or Cascade Road... unless they exit via Cascade Ct to their south.. make a left against the incessant River Road traffic, and then manipulate the roundabout which may involve a game of "who's gonna win the right-of-way battle with a logging truck.

Online story: he premiere of ABC’s “The Conners” – which is the Roseanne Barr-less spinoff of “Roseanne” – lost 35 percent of viewers who tuned in to watch the return of the original series in March. * Last spring, “Roseanne” returned from a 20-year hiatus to a massive audience, with a 11.6 rating and 18.2 million viewers but Tuesday’s spinoff premiere drew a 7.5 rating, The Wrap reported, citing Nielsen’s overnight ratings." -- Even if ABC can pull off a "happy face" with these ratings, I'll bet the advertisers are not..

---
Best speech of the week.. maybe the entire political season - Online headline: "Nikki Haley jokes at Alfred E. Smith Foundation fundraising dinner: 'You wanted an Indian woman, but Elizabeth Warren failed her DNA test'" -- Looks like the Republican Party is solid for the next three presidential elections.. Trump, of course in 2020 if he still wants it, but in 2024 and 2028, Nikki Haley will evaporate any of the Despicorats that show up... I can see the headlines for a Warren-Haley debate.. Women face off in a "pow-WOW",

---
Think about this.. two years ago, at the same fundraising dinner, Hellary LOT the presidential election. Trump spoke ahead of her.. and ripped her a new one.. At that point, Trump was on shaky grounds.. but Hellary stepped up and handed him the election. If she had simply shook her head, and "apologized FOR HIM", she'd have won the day.. but she didn't.. she took his bait, and tried to respond likewise, .. unfortunately, she brought a rubber knife to a gun fight. What's really important to understand is that Trump KNEW she couldn't resist the opportunity to try to beat him at his game... and she still can't.

From the "goose-gander... "Bob Dylan 'how does it feel' "" department - Online headline/story: "Nancy Pelosi was heckled by a group of Cuban-American Trump supporters and shouted out of a Miami restaurant while helping to campaign for a Florida Democrat, the Miami Herald is reporting. * Pelosi has been helping Miami Democrat Donna Shalala, a former Clinton administration official, in her campaign for Congress. Unfortunately for Pelosi and Shalala, on Wednesday they and some colleagues found themselves surrounded by angry protesters, demanding answers about the Democrats’ willingness to work with Cuba. * It was in this context that Shalala, Pelosi, and some colleagues found themselves surrounded by Cuban-American pro-Trump protesters. Specifically, a group showed up at Shalala’s campaign headquarters, demanding to know why a politician would align herself with another politician — Barbara Lee — who had praised the Cuban dictator on his death in 2016." -- You know.. I do not condone the language.. even the temperament.. of the protesters.. but I sure sympathize with their cause and anger, and it's the main difference from the antifa actions.. The Cuban-Americans were not paid flunkies ...

Online story: "Two Christian filmmakers appeared before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Paul Tuesday to challenge Minnesota state law which they say illegally forces them to produce and create films expressing messages that contradict their core beliefs.
* Telescope Media Group owners Carl and Angel Larsen have already been threatened with hefty fines and up to 90 days in jail if they choose to disregard the law. * (Minnesota's) Human Rights Act stipulates if the couple creates films celebrating their Christian beliefs about marriage – that marriage is between one man and one woman, they must also create films about marriage that violate their beliefs, including films promoting same-sex marriages." -- Of course this law in UNCONSTITUTIONAL! It doesn't demand that porn producers have to make acceptable Christian relationship movies, too.

Online headline: "Jimmy Carter: Kavanaugh is 'unfit' to be a Supreme Court justice
" -- Well, I'm sure, as a teenager, Brett Kavanaugh felt Cuzzin Jimmy was unfit to be a president...and time has proved Kavanaugh right...and Cuzzin Jimmy wrong. Hang it up, Cuz!

---
You know.. campaign donation reform IS needed.. We've seen extreme examples of out-of-state funding support during the Ossoff Congressional District 6 Special Election last year, and are seeing an even worse out-of-state campaign cash tsunami for Abrams this year. We even got vote requests post cards sent from California. Why didn't Abrams have those done here in GA .. at least she could have claimed she created.. even if temporary.. jobs for Georgians.

I bought 100 lottery tickets Friday.. I could not let the opportunity to possibly win a BILLION Dollars pass without having "skin in the game". I do have a suggestion that the Lottery might consider.. You know, when a jackpot gets over $400,000,000.00, why not have two winning numbers drawn.. each for one-half of the pot, and when the pot escalates another 200,000,00.00, add a third winning number and so on for every $200,000,000 the pot increases. Even more interest would be created if players knew they had two or more opportunities to win BIG.

For the record.. of 100 Quick Picks, only 1 number the computer "chose" had the PowerBall #7 selected. Not exactly the results I hoped for, but.. it;'s the reality of anyone picking the winning number when it has an over 1-in-300,000,000 chances to win odds. Oh.. no one won the BILLION, so the new estimated "dangling carrot" for Tuesday is currently $1.6 BILLION. Chomp, Chomp! (BTW, did have a ticket with 3 numbers on it worth $10.00)

From the "possibly the most Despicable Despicorat comment of the year" department - Online headline/story: "Sarah Sanders rips Rep. Joaquin Castro's 'slanderous lie' linking Kushner to Khashoggi's disappearance * Castro stated: “Let me get to the point that I think is most disturbing right now; the reporting that Jared Kushner may have with US intelligence delivered a hit list, an enemies list to the Crown Prince [Mohammed bin Salman], to MBS in Saudi Arabia, and that the prince then may have acted on that and one of the people that he took action against is Mr. Khashoggi.” * The CNN anchor pushed back on the comment, saying that the network doesn’t have that report. * Castro continued that he’s “seen reporting” on that claim and it “needs to be investigated.” -- Can you believe it, a Despicorats' claim that even CNN pushed back from? Castro is in the Texas 20th District.. a District so "blue" no Republican is running, but there is a Libertarian candidate on the ballot.. Jeffery Blunt. Sadly, Blunt has also run in the 2012, 2014, and 2016 elections, and the highest percentage of votes he's ever received against Castro was but 24%... but he is on the ballot this year.. so if you know anyone in the San Antonio area, contact them and get them to vote for Blunt.

From the "why isn't this on the front page" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Feds propose tax rule meant to help distressed areas * The Trump administration is proposing rules for investors in a new program that it says could have a big impact on economically depressed areas around the country. About 8,700 so-called “opportunity zones” have been set up in all 50 states to lure investors and developers with tax breaks. * Administration officials say the goal of the program, established by the new tax law enacted last December, is to create businesses and jobs in low-income areas and lift residents out of poverty. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin predicts that $100 billion in private capital will be invested in the new zones. * “This incentive will foster economic revitalization and promote sustainable economic growth,” Mnuchin said in a statement." -- You know, Pelosi and Schumer, supported by MSM-13, will direct their Despicorat minions to vote against this too.. The last thing the Despicorats want to happen is for their poverty-base voters to feel they have an opportunity to think and work for themselves. Ask Kanye...

---
Online headline/story: "Trump says US will pull out of intermediate range nuke pact * President Donald Trump said Saturday he will exit a landmark arms control agreement the United States signed with the former Soviet Union, saying that Russia is violating the pact and it's preventing the U.S. from developing new weapons. * The agreement has constrained the U.S. from developing new weapons, but America will begin developing them unless Russia and China agree not to possess or develop the weapons, Trump said. China is not currently party to the pact." -- Once again, Trump shows us he's the first president since Reagan that has not become "GENDER NEUTRAL"! Trump 2020 Vision!

---
Dennis Haysbert may find himself out of a job when Trump finishes his second term... Allstate Insurance could find no better spokesman to say that "America is in Good Hands".

---
I'm curious..maybe even confused....a candidate for a Congressional seat does not have to live in his/her district as long as he/she lives in the state, but voters have to live in the district of the Congressional representative we are assigned. I'm sure there are others but I can think of Maxine Waters in California, and we experienced the situation in GA District 6 when the Democrats tried to buy the seat for Ossoff. Both Waters and Ossoff are Despicorats, but you don't see/hear the DNC or MSM-13 questioning the legitimacy of their candidacy.

---
Years ago, in 2010, the era of extreme political correctness, the Ole Miss student voted to change the school emblem from the Rebels/Colonel Reb to the Black Bears.. Why, pray tell, does the Ole Miss field crew still paint "Rebels" in the end zone? Of course, an even newer mascot has been approved for this season, but the Landshark hasn't appeared as yet... not that I ever expect it will.

The producer/director of "First Man" can try to minimize the importance of the US flag planting scene it left out of their movie about Buzz Aldrin's historic moon walk, but ESPN's Game Day gave it the proper reverence in American history when they did a piece about Washington State's legendary flag guy, Tom Pounds, and his Game Day trek to get the "Coug" flag on every Game Day broadcast.

---
Did you see the ESPN Game Day salute to the legend of the Washington State "Popcorn Guy". People have been trying to ID and locate "Popcorn Guy" since the Stanford rout of Wash St in 2013..

The clip rivals the early 1970s Oakland at Houston Monday Night Football game when a camera zoomed in on a pretty zonked out Houston fan who was alone in a section after all the others had left as the score was about 35-0. The guy suddenly opened his eyes and saw the camera zoomed in on him, and he "flipped a finger" at the camera.. "Dandy Don" Meredith didn't miss a beat as he said, "Well folks, I guess that's his way of saying 'Houston is #1"!

Anyway, good luck to Wash State finding their "Popcorn Guy".
YouTube/Google it to see him.

---
You'd think Oregon fans would demand that Oregon sweatshirts have a "U" added.. as it is, you can hardly think of the Yellow on Green "O" as anything other than a BIG ZERO!

---
M/C L-E headline: "In Georgia schools, consent is added to sex education classes amid #MeToo movement" -- Call me old fashioned, but how about discussing that "consent/no consent" should be decided before... not after/during moving on from 1st base...

From the Columbus Council Agenda: "PROPERTY ACQUISITION - 2212 1ST AVENUE: Approval is requested to acquire 2212 First Ave. in the amount of $15,000 to include closing costs in an effort to assemble land in the City Village Redevelopment area. The owners of 2212 First Ave. contacted the Community Reinvestment Department asking if the city would be interested in purchasing the property. The city currently owns the properties located at 2216 First Ave., 2221 and 2213 Second Ave., and 114 23rd St., which are adjacent to this parcel. Property at 2221 Second Ave. is currently leased by Homeless Resource Network. This property was recently appraised for $15,000." -- "recently appraised for $15,000"? Hmmm... well, it was appraised by the Tyler Technologies software at a Fair Market Value of $8290.00 this year, and the owners did not challenge or appeal that appraisal.. and the property across the street at 2213 1st Avenue is appraised at $8,050.00. Seems like there should some more discussion as to what is considered an "appraisal value" when the City is buying private property

Also from Columbus Council Agenda: "CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE SERVICES (ANNUAL CONTRACT) – It is requested that council authorize the extension of the Long Distance Telephone Services contract with AT&T (Atlanta) for an additional six-month period. The estimated cost for the six-month extension is $12,000. * Per Resolution No. 50-12, dated Feb. 28, 2012, council authorized a five-year contract with AT&T. The contract was due to expire on Feb. 27, 2017; however, in accordance with Article 3-109 (Annual Contracts: Price Agreement and Service Contracts) of the Procurement Ordinance and at the request of the Information Technology Department, the contract was extended for one year, through Feb. 27, 2018. *Per Resolution dated Aug. 8, 2017, council authorized an agreement with AT&T to upgrade the city’s current CCG PRI VoIP telephone system to a more modern SIP IPFLEX VoIP telephone system. The SIP system will allow phone services to be delivered via the internet instead of PRI lines." -- Wait a minute.. Council is going to pay an extra $2,000.00 a month for long distance phone service, yet changing from land line to internet access.. Isn't that basically cellphone service, and NOBODY pays for long distance calls on our cellphones.

Another Columbus Council Agenda item: "Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicles – The Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking vendors to provide 30 Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicles for the Columbus Police Department." -- Two things... wasn't there a big to-do years ago when a bid was offered out for police vehicles that was written specifically that only one manufacturer could meet the requirements? Is this any different? On the other hand, I'm glad to see what appears top be an "open bid" contract versus buying all through an out-of-town source who has a state contract.

One last Columbus Council Agenda item: "Nov. 7, 2018, 3-Ton Vibratory Asphalt Roller – The Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking vendors to provide one 3-ton vibratory asphalt roller." -- Wait a minute..is this why mine, and many other streets, haven't been been resurfaced in so long?

---
Why do Columbus citizens only get half the story when we get news from the ACT test officials. Heard yesterday that ACT officials say 35% of test takers aren't equipped to pass basic college math or English classes. This drives home the fact that I remember so well when CSU's previous president, Dr. Mescon, proudly announced a new freshman record enrollment class included over 1,000 who had to take remedial classes at Columbus Tech.

From the department of absurdity - Online headline/story: "Head of officiating Al Riveron says NFL will discuss making hair tackling illegal * As of now, it's entirely legal for defenders to bring down a ball carrier by grabbing onto their hair. But according to the league's head of officiating, Al Riveron, the NFL will discuss making such tackles illegal. That doesn't mean it'll result in a new rule before next season, but it will at least be a point of discussion. * Riveron shared that tidbit during his weekly rules video during which he discusses controversial plays from the past week. In that video, Riveron noted that the hair tackle by Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney on Bills running back Chris Ivory was legal, but a discussion with all relevant parties will be happen after the season." -- Good grief! Just make it a rule that players cannot have hair more than 2" or so coming out from under their helmets... tell them to either get a haircut, or wear a hair net. Problem solved!

From the "what California liberalism has done to our court system" department - Online headline/story: "Public Defender Convicted Of Providing Firearm To Felon, Keeps Her Job * A San Diego public defense attorney accused of providing a gun to a felon pleaded guilty to the offense on Oct. 12. * Andrea Bayer, 37, had previously pleaded not guilty in San Diego Superior Court to felony charges of furnishing a firearm to a felon and aiding and abetting the possession of a firearm by a felon, * In exchange, the second felony count against her was dismissed. * Instead of sentencing her to up to four years in prison, Deputy District Attorney Oscar Hagstrom said that he and Bayer’s lawyer, Domenic Lombardo, expect the judge will likely place Bayer on probation." -- And now.. in the inimitable words of Paul Harvey.. "and now, the rest of the story:

The Public Defender bought a gun for "self-protection" then "stored" it in in a locked box at the house of twin brothers who are now in jail for charges including attempted murder, manufacturing hash oil, arson, brandishing a firearm, vandalism, and making threats. The California Supreme Court will decide whether or not to suspend or disbar Bayer. I guess California has Sanctuary Courts as well.

---
From the "sick.. in so many ways" department - Online headline: "Hillary Clinton Celebrates Planned Parenthood’s 100th Birthday and Its 7 Million Abortions" -- What a sick thought to "celebrate".. Epic infanticide on a level of the Holocaust! Guess they had a cake whit 7,000,000 candles as well, and Hellary "snuffed out" each individual "light" one-by-one.

---
Online headline: "Trump has lost $1 billion in personal wealth since running for president" -- And the next time you have the Nike "Believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything" KaeperPRICK ad, close your eyes and imagine Trump's picture in that ad.

VOTE NO!

There are also 2 "referendums (referenda) -- what's not said is whether the referendums (referenda) are binding or non-binding.. and even a non-binding "yes" vote gives the legislature an opportunity to writer-rewrite them in salacious ways. VOTE "NO"!

M/C L-E headline/story: "Big changes coming to busy stretch of Beaver Run Road, DOT says * The restrictions reduce crashes at intersections by preventing dangerous immediate left turns and straight-through driving where motorists must navigate through intersections where traffic is moving at high speed in both directions" -- Good grief.. remember the famous words we learned in history when history was taught correctly? How about , "Go West. young man!" as spoken by Horace Mann to an eager young man wanting to make a name for himself... In today's times, that quote would have to be "Go West young ma,, but only after you go East and then make a U-turn".
