When Trump said he had a surprise announcement to make Saturday, I was hoping he'd announce he was going switch parties for 2020 and run as an incumbent Democrat. It would blow Pelosi and Schumer out of the water, and he could keep all his promises easier because most are promises the Democrats have always made..but just haven't tried to keep. Democrats would vote for him because he'll have a "D" beside his name, and all Trump's voter base would vote for him. and Republicans in the House and Senate.

Last year, someone proposed a challenge to the Historic District's building codes to allow "tiny houses" to be built. It was put on hold, but I've yet to see a sane decision to out-rightly ban such sacrilege. Hey, new Columbus Council, what say you now?
