Online headline: "Trump cancels U.S. delegation to Davos forum" -- Good grief.. why would President Trump want to send Nancy Pelosi ANYWHERE to represent America? She has the diplomacy and negotiation skills of a concrete wall.

---
Just thinking.. couldn't Trump issue an Executive Order to open up the House for the SOTU speech? One of things America needs to see is none of the announced-for-presidency Democrats are leaders.. They will sit on their duffs as Pelosi/Schumer control their "strings" like "zombie puppets".

While I want be watching, Gladys Knight... THE Gladys Knight.. will be performing our National Anthem at the SuperBowl... her reward.. black groups are calling her an Uncle Tom.. and an Oreo...What a sad commentary on the lack of knowledge of history of these groups. Colin KaeperPRICK needs to offer his apology to her..

---
We are lucky.. no, FORTUNATE.. we have Trump as our President...he foresaw the Pelosi effect, and took steps to make sure the Republicans kept..even increased..control of the Senate.

M/C L-E headline: "Congressman Steve King’s regression offers three lessons for conservatives" -- Hmmm three lessons.. I guess the 3 lessons are that the Democrats will not hold Tlaib, Gabbard, and Omar responsible for their slurs against religious groups...

---
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez boasts she's going to lead a progressives "gangbang" rampage...hmmm...is she telling us she's a transsexual under her skirt?

WTVM 9 headline/story: "Muscogee County Jail over capacity as inmate trials are delayed; DA responds * According to officials, the Muscogee County Jail is reportedly packed to capacity. * Sheriff Donna Tompkins said the Muscogee County is filled with over 1,168 inmates, 99 over the capacity limit. * There are currently hundreds waiting for their day in court, and the majority of the cases face felony charges." -- Earlier comments from the Sheriff said most were gang members, and now we learn most are felony related. The last thing we need is lax sentences and early release program to put these felonious gang members back on the streets of Columbus.

---
Another WTVM 9 headline: "Prominent Columbus defense attorney Stacey Jackson arrested, charged with DUI" -- Hmmm ... wonder if he knows a good lawyer?

---
From the "love when libs eat their own" department - Online headline: "‘The View’ grills NYC mayor Bill de Blasio: ‘You screwed the city up’ * “Know what’s really pissing me off… you built 83 miles or protected bike lanes. I like bikes, I like people who ride, but I don’t think you understand the impact of taking something like Tenth Avenue, which is six lanes, down to two and a half,” Goldberg complained. “Particularly when you have a winter storm and you can’t move. None of that is moveable.”" -- Whoa... what's "The View" up to.. trying to attract new viewers? Now the bicycle lane plan.. who stole the idea de Bl@sio or Columbus, GA's ex-mayor Tom-LYING-son?

While waiting for a traffic light to change at Veterans and Whitesville Road, I noticed a "Keno" banner draped on the handrail outside a bar and grill.. That's just wrong.. why does the state ALLOW any business that has "on premise" license to serve alcoholic beverages to offer gambling games.. I repeat,.. That's just wrong!

---
Former MCSB member Frank Myers made an interesting... and very valid .. comment on a Facebook discussion yesterday.. Governor Kemp should require the $5,000.00 ($3K next year, and 2K in subsequent bumps) to be used ONLY for teacher raises.. the last time one was given by the state, Superintendent Lewis "commandeered" it and spent a good chunk on other programs.

---
Online headline: "Netflix raises prices for U.S. subscribers" -- Looks like I may be leaving "Netflix"... unless Netflix can demonstrate that it's contract with the Obama's is producing a profit and not this need for a rate increase.

---
Interesting... the Shutdown under Trump is now the longest on record (27th day), but do you know the president who was in office who had the MOST shutdowns in his term of office.. Cuzzin Jimmy.. he had 5 (3 in his first year alone) such "shut downs" for a total period of 57 days.

---
From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline: "Small businesses are starting to lose faith in Trump's America" -- Hmmm... MSM-13 just cannot bring itself to print anything other than :half-truths"... The facts are that at no time in the 8 years of Obama did small business confidence reach even the lowest point of Trump's first two years... nor is there a Democrat on the horizon that small businesses will feel ANY confidence in..

Online headline/story: "$630M (TSPLOST funds) meant to fix Atlanta roads went toward other projects, sources say * The city auditor recently completed a report that says TSPLOST money that was supposed to go to road improvements was also used to purchase land near Piedmont Park for $27 million and to build a $23 million pedestrian bridge at Mercedes-Benz Stadium -- and tax dollars were used to build the NCR headquarters near Georgia Tech." -- Hmmm.. at least .. to the best of my knowledge, Atlanta area TSPLOST funds were not spent of a $244,000.00 Queen TT UnderRiverWalk bathroom, bike trails, nor on Alabama traffic jam studies...

---
I just heard that the Atlanta Airport expects 120,000 SuperBowl attracted people will be leaving on Monday February 4th.. I know the stadium holds but 75,000, so what are the other 45,000.00 doing in Atlanta that weekend?

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "City to apply for EPA grant for old farmers market site * The city of Columbus is seeking a $500,000 EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant to remove hazardous materials on the site of the former Georgia State Farmers Market site at 318 10th Avenue. The grant would help clean up debris at the site, including asbestos containing materials, lead paint and soil contaminated with petroleum." -- Excuse me.. but why isn't the State of GA responsible for cleaning up it's property BEFORE deeding it over to the City? You would think Columbus' uber-liberal politicians would be up-at-arms!
