Republican Dan Bishop started running only after a court ruled a special election be held because of what may have been ballot irregularities. Bishop became the replacement candidate and only had a few months to campaign, but with his Trump philosophy, and hammering the DemocRAT agenda of 'the Squad', Bishop quadrupled the voter difference from the 2018 results.
