Keep your prayers going for the Bahamas as Hurricane Dorian is still lingering this Tuesday morning.. . On a happier note, the hurricane has weakened to a Category 3 storm.. Keep praying for our East Coast states.

I understand how the Historic District hands are tied about architectural restrictions dealing with Columbus State (unfortunately), bit if the new Hampton Motel looks like it's picture, then the Historic District image will never be the same. I wonder when Tom Bodett will come to UpTown and leaving the lights on all night.

Has anyone asked why Comey took/kept notes interviewing President Trump, but says he didn't do so during interviews Hellary concerning her illegal server and e-mail deletions. I'm betting Comey has notes tucked away waiting for an opportunity to profit from them. I'm also betting Comey is considering suicide but just doesn't know it yet.

Looks like September got off with a 'bang' here in Columbus Sunday evening...as in 'BANG! you're dead! Wilson Apartments...again... I think it's at least number 25 for Columbus this year. Sad.....

It's being speculated that former WV governor and current Sen. Joe Manchin, D-WV, is considering a run for the WV governor's office in 2020. Have no clue at what he's wanting to accomplish, but I imagine he, WV, and America would be better off with him just changing over to the Republican Party and supporting WV, America, and President Trump at the same time.

Online headline/story: "Kansas University faculty wants Chick-fil-A banned from campus for fears of 'safety,' 'mental well being' * The culture of Chick-fil-A fosters hate and discrimination on multiple levels,” the Sexuality & Gender Diversity Faculty and Staff Council wrote in a two-page letter, accusing university leaders of being "more concerned about money and corporate sponsorship than the physical, emotional, and mental well being of marginalized and LGBTQ people."-- Hmmm ..so a segment of the faculty at an institution created to exploring open discussion wants to eliminate "hate and discrimination" by BEING "hateful and discriminatory"....only in a Socialist-DemocRAT agenda would this be considered reasonable.

From the " brilliant...NOT!" Department...looks like the Common Crap curriculum has been in effect longer than we knew. One DemocRAT MSNBC Host was talking about the Electoral College, and actually said that "if it wasn't specifically in the Constitution, it wouldn't be Constitutional!" I'm not even going to embarrass him further by mentioning his name, but will someone please tell him that his right to voice his own opinions on the subject would be unconstitutional, too, unless specifically protected by the first amendment of that same Constitution.

Hmmm.. rumor has it that the DemocRATs are planning to combat Trump hats with one of their own once the primaries begin.. On a "Blue" hat that reads, "Make America GRATE Again".

A fellow BCer sent me a picture of a "Tom-LYING-son for Senate" window/bumper sticker he saw.. I've seen one before..remember when I mentioned a woman illegally changing lanes a few months ago.. and I said I told her she needs to have her Drivers License revoked because she'd be just as dangerous in a voting booth as she is driving a car...well, I was surprised at how small the stickers are.. it's as though Tom-LYING-son doesn't want the public to know who is supporting her.

You know.. MSM-13 is so upset that President Trump played golf during the Labor Day weekend as Dorian loomed over the Bahamas.. Funny, I didn't see any criticism of what William and Kate, nor Harry and Megan were doing socially over the weekend..

This is a good.. no.. a SHOULD listen-to.. it's but 4 minutes long ..One thing to remember is that when Ann Corcoran speaks of "the president from 35 years ago", she is referring to Jimmy Carter.

Chris Cuomo,... a.k.a. "Fredo"... is trying to divert attention from Trump's informative enlightenment about "fake news" by claiming it's "racist" to infer such.. I do not think our 1st Amendment (which Fredo hides behind) agrees with him, but I think Trump would be more accurate just singling out Fredo Cuomo as a "Fake Journalist".

We heard about shooting o[incidents in Texas and Minnesota .. in fact, those incidents have been blasted over the headlines... while the reality is that if you combine the total number shot and killed in Texas and Minnesota, the total PALES in comparison to the number shot and killed on the streets of Shicago.. and yet, you probably haven't seen this in a MSM-13 news story... it's just normal for Shicago.. and there was no mention of Baltimore or St Louis...

From the "hmmm... wonder what the state knows our Council doesn't?" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "State looks to boost freight commerce by beefing up roads * “Logistics is a big business, supply chain is a big business,” said state Sen. Brandon Beach, R-Alpharetta, the committee’s co-chairman. “And the investment that the state’s willing to make will have a great return.” -- Hmm.. it seems Columbus' "big trucks" are either logging or dump types that are simply using our roads as a way to get somewhere else. Let's talk about my campaigns to do something about limiting dump trucks on 2nd Avenue from the JR Allen Parkway to 13th Street, and why is the River Road Roundabout even being built now... A great section of 2nd Ave is literally a top dressing over a brick road bed from long ago.. and the asphalt does not bond with the brick underneath, so 2nd Ave is constantly inn poor shape yet the heavy dump trucks are allowed to use it....why doesn't the Council ask the state to bar use of 2nd Ave by dump trucks? Now, the Roundabout.. think about this.. when it was first requested in 2012, the State was going to pay the $1.5 Million for it because.. I guess... the state felt it was needed. Faults were noted in he planning, and a new set of plans were drawn up, and the state still was going to put up $1.5 million and Columbus would have to put in $1.2 Million. In 2018, construction bids were let out, only now the state had pulled out it's $1.5 Million, and Columbus has to foot the whole bill...I think the state learned during the re-planning stages that the Roundabout was not really a "need", so it withdrew the $1.5 Million, and even local contractors wanted nothing to do with the job, so none even bid on it. I'm beginning to wonder if anyone on Council will want their names to be on the marker plaque associated with political road projects, though I can start out a "Name that Folly" contest.. I submit.. "The ex-Mayor Tom-LYING-son Circular Lie-way - Round and round she goes and where She stops, nobody knows"

You know.. we hear DemocRAT-wannabe-after-DemocRAT-wannabe come up with a new tax plan after new tax plan (which aren't going to work) to soak the wealthy in paying for free college, free health, free basic income, and anything else they think "free" will generate votes for them, but notice that NONE of them has suggested adding a tax on the latest booming industry .. marijuana.. it's pretty obvious why..
