America is a great country..a great friend of our allies.. America will be active in assisting Bahama in recovery.. but, we do so because we're a great country, not because it's an obligation. Bahama is a part of the monarchy of England...Canada is, too, and those and others, are countries that have an explicit obligation to carry the brunt of the response. Well..the libs are at it again..there's already talk about new codes to build houses in South Florida... Libs want houses built higher off the ground...even on stilts.. for flood protection.. but I bet the libs have not even considered how higher off-the-ground construction will limit access for many seniors..in fact, it may be even discriminatory and/or in violation of A.D.A. regulations.

In many of those cities, the votes are even tallied by hand." -- Hmmm... 2,271 people ELIGIBLE to vote.. by being "eligible", we must assume that means registered... Funny.. at the end of 2017, Chattahoochee Hills had a total population of 2,727 people.. which means over 83% of them are registered voters.. Compare that to GA overall at a less that 70% I'm real interested in knowing the names of the other 70 or so cities that still use paper ballots as well Shoot, if Columbus had that 83% percent of voters registered, we'd have over 160,000 potential voters.. Like I've always said.. straight paper ballot voting leaves.. no.. BREEDS.. backroom voter fraud.

When Smith touched the gun’s safety, two shots fired. Smith said that he did not pick up the gun or touch the trigger, Kraus said." -- "When Smith touched the gun’s safety, two shots fired." Good grief.. unfortunately, a jury can be assembled in Columbus that :will believe" this! Facts are that EVEN IF touching the safety fired off a shot, the gun's "kick" would re-position the gun so that a second shot would not be possible and even if was, the gun WOULD NOT have been able to hit the same target twice!

Columbus only get's 85% of the 1% tax it collects. And Council needs to rethink its concept of another SPLOST for $350,000,000.00 million to include many other "additional maintenance expenses" projects over and beyond the building of a new Government Center.. Council should make a stand on the maximum costs of not exceeding 3 years of 1% revenues, and only starting AFTER the current T-SPLOST ends.
