Look at the design.. it was basically a straight highway with an entrance to the complex.. Now it has dual lanes for highway traffic and a private roundabout process to get to your tee-times without having to stop... basically.. a totally unnecessary "improvement costing $2.8 MILLION.. That's half of what our "unnecessary Roundabout" into Green Island is costing us (don't even suggest that it's only $4.5/6 Million.. originally it was going to be $1.5 Million and the State was paying it, but now we get none of the state money so our "real cost" is about $4.6 + 1.5 +$6.1 Million)

 

You know, come to think of it... DemocRAT Congressman Bishop, D-GA, may be behind this roundabout.. he conducts an annual Golf Fundraiser for himself at Green Island Country Club (so maybe he wanted a loner driveway for his donors). I have always wondered why Bishop did not conduct his fundraiser at a golf course IN HIS OWN DISTRICT so it would get the economic boost..
