Liberal's Online headline: "Some in GOP begin testing party's lockstep loyalty to Trump" -- "some"? Libs use "some" in an attempt to make one person's opinion feel like a mandate...

---
Online headline: "Djokovic leaving Australia after losing deportation appeal" -- Hmmm... sorta like something Hitler would have thought of to keep Jesse Owens out of the 1936 Olympics to keep Owens from beating he locals.

From the "something smells rotten" department - A new "affordable housing" scheme was announced last week and Columbus Council handed over $10,000,000.00 in future property taxes to an organization headed by an elected school board member... there's something just wrong about that situation... Our property taxes are created by two taxing authorities.. the Council and the MCSB. About 40% of our property taxes go to the City, and 60% go to the MCSD, and Council has diverted $10,000,000.00.. including $6,000,000.00 that would normally go to the MCSD, and put it into the hands of an elected MCSB member who has the power to vote for raising our school taxes to make up for the shortage.. there should be a law against that... Wait a minute, there is one! Council should revoke their approval until the elected MCSB member resigns... either from the School Board ..or... from NeighborworksColumbus .

From the "when you stick your foot in your mouth... stop chewing or you'll gnaw your foot off" department - Online headline/story: "Georgia Lt. gov. dismisses Trump, Carlson and Cruz as GOP leaders: 'It's time to move on' * he says Republican voters need to choose between believing in disproven election fraud conspiracy theories and forging ahead with new leadership that will push the party toward a better place."-- Looks like Duncan has signed a political death warrant.... his own! The Republican Party was as devoid of leadership as the Democrats when Trump stepped forward, and now America misses Trump's policy leadership.. everyone has some issue with his "Tweets" in office, but even the White House "handlers" have had to backtrack and reinstate some of Trump's policies...

Russell Henley lost the Sony Open in a playoff yesterday.. Wonder if any local media was aware that he lives in Columbus, GA?

On Saturday, an Islam "terrorist" took over a Dallas, TX area Synagogue and took 4 members hostage for 11 hours.. Fortunately, none of the members died, and the Islamic terrorist has entered hell. Since then we've learned he was a British citizen and part of at least a threesome cabal.. He came in via NYC... why wasn't he on a "no fly/no admittance list"? Oh.. and why did he pick a Texas target versus a high profile Jewish Synagogue in NYC? My guess is he didn't want to upset the political status of Schumer.

NOTE: "Our "crack" FBI put out a statement that this was not associated with any political views... maybe we should refer to our FBI being "ON CRACK" instead...

---
What is wrong with our FBI? A terrorist trying to get the White House to free an al Qaeda prisoner in jail, yet the FBI says the hostage situation in a Dallas area synagogue was not... WAS NOT... an Islamic action against the Jewish community.
What's wrong is that ...WELL... basically, because it's under control of the JoKKKe Biden "Handlers"!

From the "Fact Checkers! Check this out!: department - Online headline/story: "Schumer to miss own Senate filibuster change deadline with loss ensured * Schumer had vowed earlier this month to put any potential rule changes to a vote by Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. However, expectations for a Senate showdown were dashed when Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) reaffirmed their longstanding opposition to messing with the 60-vote requirement. * “Due to circumstances regarding COVID and another potentially hazardous winter storm approaching the DC area this weekend, the Senate will adjourn tonight." -- Due to Covid? Only if C.O.V.I.D. is an acronym for Cognizant Open-minded Vital Independent Democrats...

---
The Senate Democrats claim a majority only by counting two Socialist Senators voting with them to cause a situation that allows VP Chuckles Harris to cast a Socialist-Democrat agenda influenced, yet go ballistic when two Democrats vote along with the 50 Republicans to carry out the best interest of America's future.

---
Hellary must have been an early "test" baby for "new math".. seems she feels Democrats in the Senate are a majority and should be able to change the filibuster rule with a simple floor vote. Hey, Hellary... actually, there are. MORE REPUBLICANS in the Senate than Democrats, and Democrat Senators have to kowtow to Socialists Bernie and King to get them to vote along with them to get enough votes to match the Republican number... actually, Democrats cannot even CLAIM to be in control of the Senate unless.... unless they adopt the Socialist agenda of Bernie.

The new mayor of Atlanta said he was going to put a Police Precinct in Buckhead with 12 officers.... that averages to less than 3 ON DUTY Police officers per hour... The Buckhead succession spokesman says they will put in their own police force of 250. I think the residents of the Buckhead area want a lot more in safety than the new Mayor feels is warranted...

Lat week, I wrote about the distribution of $1,600.00 via EBT cards to possibly 12,000 (or more) MCSD students who are considered Title 1 qualified (or just attend a totally Title 1 designated school). I have yet to hear any statement refuting this issue.. in other words, elementary, middle school, and high school students are carrying around , basically, $1,600.00 debit cards.. wonder how many will be "bought" by scavenging denizen of the streets for cash at a substantially lower value.. it happens with SNAP and Food Stamp cards all the time...

It’s also said to be resistant to tornado and hurricane damage. * Families accepted into the Habitat for Humanity program put in a few hundred hours of sweat equity toward building their home, which varies among the organization’s affiliates. When the program’s requirements are fulfilled and construction is completed, families in need of affordable housing are connected to lenders able to offer income-based repayment plans." -- Excuse me, but why doesn't NeighborworksColumbus (GA) implement this concept for new and future "projects"? I'm not just talking about the construction part either.. NeighborworksColumbus (GA) uses, as I understand, it's own in-house construction, mortgaging, rental management, and landscaping which has no competitive bidding to lower costs...

---
You know, when researching the land donated to the new Neighborworks Columbus project, I noticed that when the property "changed hands", those 38 +/- acres had been valued by the City at "only" $175,000.00 (and only $2,800.00 were paid in taxes) but... BUT after the donation, the same acres were tax valued at $1.7 Million (and new tax value became $31,200.00 plus per year).. Interesting... at how much the City left on the table ANNUALLY until the donation..

As we celebrate the Dr Martin Luther King Jr's Holiday, let's remember his DREAM.. that all people be judged on their character, not their skin color.. will someone make sure Resident Biden gets this notice so he will stop calling Blacks who didn't vote for him not being Black enough?

---
Sadfully, Columbus, GA experienced it's first homicide of 2022 yesterday... a 71 year old woman was shot and killed while driving her car.. while there're not any positives to a random homicide.. we can be thankful that after 3 in the same time period last year, this is the first we've had in 2022...pray that it be our last one as well...

Elon Musk has previously taken a chunk out of california for being a tax & Spend government that cripples private industries with it's taxes, and now is leading the way to kicking Chine in the teeth as well... While not sold... yet.. on the viability of an electric vehicle in my life.. but when I do , it will be a Tesla...

From the "if this doesn't shake up Council, what will?" department - Online headline/story: "Columbus criminal defense attorney has questions about police amid severe staff shortage * The Columbus Police Department has a severe officer shortage. And that comes on the heels of a year with 70 homicides — 63 of which were murders. 34 have been solved. * One prominent Columbus criminal defense attorney has serious questions about the department. * News 3 took attorney Stacey Jackson’s concerns to Police Chief Freddie Blackmon we came away with a better understanding of the Columbus Police Department’s staffing issues. * There are currently 444 budgeted Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council certified positions in the Columbus Police Department. * Blackmon tells News 3 there are between 120 and 130 open positions. That leaves between 310 and 320 officers on the streets. * Since 2016, the Columbus Police Department has hired 300 new officers. During that same time period, 400 have either retired or resigned." -- Wow! Didn't the Citizens of Columbus, GA overwhelmingly pass the Public Safety SPLOST in 2008 to get 100 new police officers on the streets? What's it gonna take to get this THE primary focus of Council?

---
Hmmm.. has anyone seen anything about a willing witness stepping forward to confirm Stacey Abrams was with them in an urgent meeting at the same time JoKKKe Biden & Chuckled Harris were in Atlanta last Tuesday...hmmm.. didn't think so..

---
WTVM-TV9 story: "St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is partnering with Victory Mission, of Columbus, to provide a monthly education series. * Officials say they will offer classes that focus on various topics ranging from nutrition, financial management, heart health, diabetes, and exercise - all apart of the Healthy Communities Campaign." -- Great show, St Francis/Emory and First Baptist Church of Columbus...especially the money management aspect..

---
Online headline: "Martin Luther King's dream is alive but liberal policies are destroying Black communities" -- Hmmm... with liberalism trying to re-segregate the US, and make the color of everyone's skin more important than character, it's no wonder Dr King Jr was a Republican by choice.

"Republican priorities when we regain the majority next year: 1 - Hold the Biden Administration accountable 2 - Secure the Border 3 - Make our cities safe again 4 - Rein in the out-of-control inflation 5 - Stop the overreach of government mandates," the California Republican tweeted Friday." - C'mon man! We know the issues! Now Republicans .. what are your solutions! Maybe McCarthy better dig out a copy of Newt Gingrich's "Contract WITH America" from 1994 and implement one new contract for the 2022 midterms.

---
Online headline: "DirecTV to drop far-right channel OAN from its service" -- Hmmm... Well... in the pursuit of "media fairness" , Direct TV should drop CNN as well, as AT&T owns Direct TV & CNN.

---
After seeing Nancy PeLOUSY's spectacular investment results on stock purchases, do you wonder whether she also invested in Hunter Biden art works... or not?

---
Saturday, Fox's Pete Hegseth tore Burger King "a new one".. A panel compared the BK Whopper with a BK "Impossible" (a.k.a. plant) Burger, and after he literally tossed the "Impossible" onto the floor, he compared the taste to "wet cat food".. hey Pete, haven't....and won't... eat an "Impossible" Whopper, but which "wet cat food" have you tasted to compare the taste? I want to make sure I don't buy that brand .

---
When I think about Resident Biden pounding his hand during his rant in Atlanta last week, I also think about the speech Russia's Nikita Khrushchev made in the UN in 1960 when he pounded the speaker's stand with his shoe. Ironically, JoKKKe Biden looked even more foolish.
