You saw it here.. The Washington Football Team will announce it's "new" name on February 2nd... a.k.a. "Groundhog Day".. Odds are that that some schmo will open a rat-hole door, see his shadow, slam it shut, and hibernate for another 6 weeks.

---
The Washington Football Team has announced that the new name WILL NOT BE "Wolves" .. hmmm.. it looks like the Washington owners may be looking for an "alliterative" name/logo.. How about .. hmmm "wussies".. "wannabes"... or "waste water".. No! I have it.. the "Washington WOMEN"... think about it.. it's perfect.. the NFL can have it's first "transgender" team... and it's so timely.. and descriptive .... since none of today's Washington owners seem to have any "cahonies" to support 85 years of history in Washington.

What a difference a year makes... Last year JoKKKe Biden blasted President Trump about not closing schools. This year, Resident Biden feels schools should be open. Whatta difference a year without Trump to blame makes....

---
Mayor Lori "Lighthead" and the Shicago Teachers Union just gave Resident Biden a huge "raspberry". Last night, the union voted not to return to classroom teaching, and Mayor "Lighthead" shut down the possibility of "ZOOM" classes, leaving parents of students a scant 7 hours to rearrange their families' lives...

Interesting.. Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia was stuck on I-95 overnight in Virginia in the ice storm. When you think about Tim Kaine's service to America's future, it was probably the most effective day Kaine has...or will ever... served.

Online headline/story: "Arizona offering families up to $7k for issues stemming from school closures * (Republican) Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey on Tuesday announced a new program that will give qualifying families who are struggling with unexpected school closures up to $7,000 for children's educational needs. * The funding would go toward childcare, transportation, tutoring and school tuition needs approved by the Arizona Department of Economic Security * "Every state should follow Arizona's lead," Corey DeAngelis, national director of research at School Choice Now, told Fox News. "If a Safeway doesn't reopen, families can take their money elsewhere. If a school doesn't reopen, families should be able to take their children's education dollars elsewhere. In fact, families should be able to take their children's education dollars elsewhere regardless. Education funding is meant for educating children, not for protecting a particular institution." -- "Education funding is meant for educating children, not for protecting a particular institution."? Wow! Powerful words... words that need to be discussed in every state legislature, and explained to every public school school administration and every teachers' unions...

From the "suspicions confirmed" department - Jen Psaki IS a liar! An outright LIAR! Last May she said she'd be leaving next year.. Well...It IS next year...and she's still lying in the White House!

Online headline: "First woman to command USS Constitution, aka Old Ironsides
Cmdr. Billie J. Farrell is scheduled to assume command at an on-board ceremony Jan. 21" -- I'm sure she more than earned it ... Congratulations. My dad and I had the honor of "going aboard" for a tour in 1992. My first thoughts were how brave sailors had to be to serve on such a small vessel in open seas.. my second thought was how short the ceilings were below deck.. at 6' 6" I could not come close to standing up anywhere except 'topside".

Of note is that the wood used was Georgia White Oak which made this Georgia boy proud to know when we visited..

The New Year has come..and Resident Biden's B.B.B. bill is still Bad Bad Bad...

Online story: "Two Arizona State University students who were reprimanded after a viral video showed them confronting White students studying in a campus multicultural center last year have accused the school of "openly" discriminating against them.

"Dear White People, A.K.A. ASU — You openly discriminated against us on November 16 when you handed down your decision from your racially biased investigation," the students, Mastaani Qureshi and Sarra Tekola, said in a more than nine-minute video posted to social media last week.

"We're being persecuted for defending our multicultural center from racism and sexism … ASU is a violent place," Qureshi said. " -- Good grief.. Just the two's post verdict comments show how inadequate the verdict of "guilty of interfering with university activities. There was insufficient evidence to find them responsible for violating harassment policies, according to the outlet." nor did the two "respect" the sentence: "ASU gave both students a warning and asked them to write about how to deal with similar situations and "facilitate a civil dialogue" on multicultural spaces". Obviously, these two are in violation... again... of the other students civil rights when Tekola argued that the school asking "students of color" to act more civilly when confronted by alleged "white supremacy and neo-Nazism" is "actually violent." Hope the two young men file "slander and libel" suits against Mastaani Qureshi and Sarra Tekola.

How appropriate... Virginia's outgoing "blackface" governor Ralph Northam's having to deal with "black ice"... and showing how inadequate he is...

From the "truth will set you free" department - Online headline/story: "Randi Weingarten accused of another backpedal on schools: 'We know kids do better in person, but * Randi Weingarten, head of the second-largest teachers union in the country, was called out Tuesday for an apparent backpedaling on reopening schools in the COVID-19 pandemic despite claiming to be a champion of getting children back in the classroom. * "There are very real logistical decisions schools are making," Weingarten, the American Federation of Teachers president, tweeted Monday. "We know kids do better in person, but the spike is real. We need adequate staff & the safety measures in place including testing, masking ventilation. There is a lot of stress." -- Hey teachers, hey school boards across America!! Your union spokesperson just decided she preferred y'all to handle the STRESS she has put on ALL the parents of students in your school or district .. and she wants y'all to deal with the parents' stress while she sleeps-in...

WTVM-TV9 story: "AT&T and Verizon said Monday they will delay activating new 5G wireless service for two weeks following a request by Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who cited the airline industry’s concern that the service could interfere with systems on planes." -- Wait a minute.. I've already got 5G service... have s=for some time.. what is Buttigieg talking about?

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "TALBOTTON, Ga. (WTVM) - The Talbot County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded the 2022 Car Seat Mini-Grant by the Georgia Department of Public Health, Injury Prevention Program. * The sheriff’s office will use the funds to provide car seats to financially eligible families in Talbot County. This program is funded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, helping to ensure Georgia children are safe while riding in motor vehicles. * “It’s our responsibility to keep our safe,” said Sgt. Riggins. “The Car Seat Mini-Grant is a great opportunity to help our community and help protect our children from serious injuries or death in motor vehicle crashes.” -- Being a grandfather of 4 boys who ride in car seats, I understand the need.. necessity (though my parents didn't have them when my sibs and me were of that age).. of car safety seats, but let's parse this.. There is no "grant" it's just tax dollars being meted out by a department that is not qualified to seek out "financially" eligible families... that is not a job for a Sheriff's Department...additionally, what liability has the State of GA's "Public Health, Injury Prevention Program" put us taxpayers in if a suit about an inadequate safety seat is brought to a wrongful death trial?

Online "headLIE": "Biden unveils plan to boost competition in U.S. meat industry" -- First.. Resident Biden has no clue to plan to boost anything but prices and inflation! Secondly, individual farmers/ranchers do not have the capacity to process and distribute meat products in an efficient, low-cost way across our country that would lower prices, and thirdly, the real influences on the rapidly rising costs of meat are inflation and transportation costs... both of which are the results of PREVIOUS JoKKKe Biden "plans"..

---
Online headline: "Biden tries to rally COVID-weary nation: 'We're all tired and frustrated'" -- Hmmm... looks like MSM has finally found a skill Resident Biden is somewhat adequate in planning...

---
Online "headLIE": "Share of Trump voters who believe Biden 'won fair and square' falls to 9% amid declining trust in U.S. democracy" -- Hmmm.. sounds more like a poll of Biden voters...

Online headline: "U.S. judge dismisses case against Jeffrey Epstein's jail guards" -- Hmmm... if you ever wondered about Epstein's purported suicide, dropping all charges of against the "guards" pretty much assures us that there was collusion in Epstein's death...
