We ate at an "upscale" Uptown restaurant in Columbus, GA Friday night, and in addition to the usual 9% sales tax, my bill had a .48  "liquor" tax added on.. my bride and I each had a glass of $11.00 wine ... When did Columbus vote on such a tax...or was it a tax Columbus GA Council slipped in on the QT ... or was it a statewide edict? I still hadn't figured out if the extra .48 tax was calculated on the price of the wine itself or on the wine plus the 9% other sales taxes... if the latter is true, and we were taxed on the sales tax, that should result in criminal charges!

After studying the dynamics of BlackRock Investments stranglehold on government and private union pension plans, union members should ask themselves whether they liked their pension portfolios better when Trump was President or when Biden sits in the office.

From the "bringing down "ambulance chasing" to a new low" department - Online headline/story: "Southern Poverty Law Center lawyer arrested, charged with domestic terrorism amid Atlanta 'Cop City' attack * A lawyer for the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was arrested and charged with domestic terrorism over the violence that broke out in Atlanta on Sunday in relation to protests of a planned training facility for police officers in the city * Thomas Webb Jurgens was among the list of 23 suspected domestic terrorists released by the Atlanta Police Department on Monday. * protesters hurled bricks and Molotov cocktails at officers and set cars on fire." -- Hmmm.. and the SPLC "defended" Jurgens by calling him "a legal observer on behalf of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) " .... Hmm... OK.. he's a GLORIFIED AMBULANCE CHASER... but since he WAS there, he should have been advising the protesters NOT to throw "bricks and Molotov cocktails at officers" or set "cars on fire".,,, and his presence makes him just as guilty as the non-shooting driver of a vehicle involved in a drive-by shooting.

Online headline: "(RINO) Texas state representative introduces bill to vote on secession" -- Good grief! This sounds like something out of the ultimate Socialist-Democrat "agenda playbook"..... It would basically end any chances of another Republican president.....EVER.

---
Online headline: "Elon Musk torches House Jan. 6 committee for 'misleading the public,' withholding evidence: 'deeply wrong'" -- Wow! If there is an iota of truth in Musk's words, Cheney, Kissinger, Schiff should be charged with treason and perjury, and Queen PeLOUSY's name should be added to this list as a co-conspirator.

---
Online story: "North Korea has threatened to take "quick, overwhelming action" after the United States flew a nuclear-capable B-52 bomber over the Korean Peninsula in an exercise with South Korean warplanes. * Kim Yo Jong, the sister of dictator Kim Jong-Un, made the threat as the U.S. and South Korea continue to carry out joint military exercises." -- Good grief! You don't "threaten" to take "quick overwhelming action"... you either TAKE quick, overwhelming action or you don't... and coming from Kim Jong OOOPS' sister makes it more of an insult than a joke.

---
Online headline: "The View' mocked after releasing audience from mask requirement three years into pandemic" -- Hmmm... They should have worn gags instead of masks....

---
Online headline: "Bill Maher quizzes Bernie Sanders on woke 'equity' language, senator unsure of definition: 'I don't know'" -- Of course Bernie can't define equity....and he couldn't have defined it years before but liberal anchors.. including Maher, never bothered to ask him to do so.

---
Online headline: "Who is attacking the planned police training center in Atlanta dubbed 'Cop City' and why?" -- Hmmm.. there were 23 arrests.. and only two were from Georgia.. even their SPLC ambulance-chasing "legal observer" was imported... and at least one was not even an American citizen... Oh.. and, of course, there was no presence of George Soros or his son... they are just wealthy cowards...

---
Online headline: "Michael Moore demands nationwide boycott of Walgreens for not selling abortion pill: 'Bigotry and misogyny'" -- Michael, Michael, Michael.. .I somewhat agree with you because if you got a woman pregnant, I wouldn't want her child being cursed by having you as a father..

---
Online headline: "University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee alters 'bias reporting system' following First Amendment challenge * The university clarified that students would not be punished for protected First Amendment speech" -- Finally,, a liberal institution having regrets for supporting Jo-KKK-e Biden for President...

---
Online headline: " ‘An equal dignity’: Changing Fort Benning to Fort Moore shows stark contrast in legacy" -- You know... while slavery was...and still is in many other countries today... a moral issue prior to the Civil War, what everyone must remember is that it was not against the law. ... the American people did change this...and the American people being able to peacefully control the direction of our future is what distinguishes the greatness of our Constitution and system of governance. Let's pray this lesson doesn't get "lost" by rewriting history or "canceling" the truth.

---
Online headline: "‘We’re not playing with y’all’: Dozens gather in support of Chief Blackmon" -- Hmmm... An out of town audit cited "low pay and low morale" as main issues.. hmmm ..these seem more in the realm of the Mayor/Head of Public Safety and Columbus GA Council.. like I've said before, our elected officials need to see the log in their eyes before "piling on" the Chief of Police.

---
Online headline: "Georgia House passes 'Zucker bucks' ban * Bill would bar donations to elections officials" -- It's not just about keeping politically inspired donations to election officials that needs to be addressed... we also need some controls over out-of-state monies being poured into OUR state to influence OUR elections... I've often suggested that donors only be allowed to donate to people they can actually vote for.

---
Online headline: "Hyundai supplier plans $67 million Georgia plant, 400 jobs" -- As many times as this, and similar stories run, it just rubs Columbus GA's nose in the ground for not being in the picture.

---
Online headline: "Georgia Senate announces new policies for taxpayer-funded travel" -- Hmmm... One thing, though, is still missing.. any taxpayer paid commercial travel should be at economy ticket levels for every elected official.

---
Online story: "MACON, GA — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in a possible kidnapping of a murder suspect who was due in court today. * According to a statement released by the sheriff’s office on Monday, 23-year-old Christian Demond Williams was reported missing after he was allegedly abducted from the front porch of his home in the 500 block of Hall Street." -- "abducted"? Sure.. right ... at best a scam to escape if he was under surveillance...

---
Online headline: "State Senate approves bill barring Georgia youth from obtaining gender-affirming care" -- Sanity must prevail! Even parents should not be give "god" powers over their children's future.

---
Online headline: "Bigger rig trucks for Georgia highways on the move in 2023 state Legislature" -- Hey... Columbus GA Council.. this means "MORE top-heavy, less maneuverable logging trucks" will be running through the River Road Round-about, and down 2nd Avenue or Veterans Parkway...

Online story: "A group of fifth-grade girls in Hoover, Alabama was forced to play in against boys in a recreational youth league. And not only did they compete, they also beat the boys and won the league’s championship – but the league decided not to give them the trophy or name them champions. * The girls have played in a competitive girls’ league for three years but were told they could not continue to use the city’s gyms for their practices unless they joined the city’s youth recreational league, meaning they would have to play with boys. * They did that and fought their way to the league’s championship game. * But before the game, they were told that they could play in the game, but would not be allowed to have the trophy if they won * The girls did indeed win the game, but the trophy was awarded to the losing boys team, instead." -- I sincerely wish that the coach of the boys team had rejected that trophy and applauded the winning team..

---
Online headline: "CNN ex-boss Jeff Zucker told staff not to probe ‘lab leak’ theory because it was ‘Trump talking point’" -- Hmmm... now we have a true and conformed conspiracy of election fraud that the DOJ MUST investigate and forever stop from happening again...and the FEC needs to review Trump's claims of election fraud and rigging!

---
A lot of denial of "election fraud" is reoccurring with the recent Covid-19 cover-up and the revealing of the full set of videos available for the Jan 6 Committee that presented only one viewpoint.. but remember, voting fraud was never actually denied by the FEC or DOJ.. it was just presented as "too small to have made a difference"... with that "logic", discovering a "little fraud" is like thinking the top of an iceberg is all that an iceberg is..

---
Online headline/story: " Macon-Bibb County's commissioners approved the use of security cameras in downtown Macon late last month, raising privacy concerns and sparking debate over surveillance. * The 64 cameras will not need to be constantly monitored and can send notifications to deputies much like traffic cameras, according to a presentation by the sheriff's office. Investigators will also be able to review footage after crimes happen. * Verkada is a multi-million dollar tech company that provides similar security to dozens of cities and private companies, including the Macon Housing Authority. * Verkada serves multiple Georgia cities like Columbus and Marietta. " -- Have Columbus citizens gotten their money's worth for these cameras? Maybe Columbus GA Council should present us citizens some sort of report of any crimes that have been recorded and suspects p]successfully prosecuted from that evidence..

---
Online headline: " ‘Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah’ From Parade Due to ‘Song of the South’ Ties" -- bye bye Disney...Disney feels it's "OK" to destroy history, but pushes racism and bigotry through presentations to our youth.. I remember watching the original "Proud Family" with my youngest daughter, and enjoying how normal.. and "bridging".. the scripts were in its presentation to her, but now the new version is based on racism and bigotry and disinformation via CRT indoctrination.

---
Online headline: "Raffensperger to join 'Future of Elections' panel at SXSW" -- GA needs to impeach Raffensperger before he can initiate any of the changes he wants.... especially ending runoffs for state-wide elections.. that would guarantee the end of the Republican Party in GA.

---
From the "even in a perfect world, this would not be feasible" department - Online story: "State officials are seeking to disrupt criminal gang activity in Georgia through legislation that would require stiff mandatory minimum sentences for gang members who recruit other people, and especially children, into their gangs." -- Good grief... it's the fact that law enforcement cannot protect children from bullying that makes gang recruitment so tough to stop!

---
Online NBC "headLIE": "Tucker Carlson, with video provided by Speaker McCarthy, falsely depicts Jan. 6 riot as a peaceful gathering" -- Hmmm... Carlson "falsely depicts Jan 6 riot"..... you know, I don't remember seeing NBC accusing Congressman Bull Schiff or Queen PeLOUSY with editing the available videos to present a one-sided view of Jan 6, yet this is exactly what NBC is doing now that a conservative selection of videos is available to the public... SHAME ON NBC... then and NOW!
