It's been more than 7 months since it was announced that 340 apartments/town houses would be built on former church property off River Road here in Columbus, GA, but there's still no public record in the tax database that shows a sales transaction or property tax evaluation... It smelled from the "git-go" that a church property would have been exempted with "RO" zoning, but the lack of public information... or Council wanting to discuss it... makes the whole deal even smellier now...

I remember. when HOPE was first initiated, and the Albany GA School System ANNOUNCED that every one of it's students automatically would be given a HOPE qualifying "B" average
