While it's "nice" homicides in Columbus GA are being talked about "openly" for a change, the important talks aren't happening .... Seems like the Councilors representing the more violent districts do not want to talk about tougher solutions, and the Councilors ..and Mayor... don't want to THINK ABOUT solutions.

You know, Columbus GA Police Chief Blackmon's report last week brought up an unaddressed issue... Where's the money? In 2008, Columbus had 388 police officers and we voted on the Public Safety LOST to hire another 100. Purportedly, because the 100 hasn't ever been added, the dollars allocated have been "put aside" and saved, but what about the "normal budgeting" for the 388 we started with. Surely the budget each year earmarked the salaries and benefits for 388, yet we heard the 388 has dwindled down to under 300... Where is the money that was budgeted for 90ish non-existent officers in the CPD?

Went shopping at my favorite grocery yesterday to get some jelly beans for my bride to use in a festive pre-Easter gathering of church friends and family.. When I saw what the store now prices them, I went elsewhere because I could get "branded" jelly beans that cost the same or less. I remember during the Trump years, this store sold this bag of candy at 3 bags for $5.00.. now under the Biden administration, it cost $3.49 for each bag, and that..even using "new math" ... is now more than twice the cost!

Now as california Governor, Newsome has initiated another homeless project... Building 1,200 'tiny’ 300 sq ft 'homes' (that take 90 minutes to put together) with a new $750,000,000.00 program. That makes those 'tiny' homes cost out at $625,000.00 ..EACH. Now... like "affordable homes" programs in Columbus, GA... who's gonna pay for maintenance and taxes, and how do you keep Rental Companies from buying them up and profiting from them?

Democrats are out lying again about the 2020 Election results.. One today said Biden had 8,000,000 more popular votes.. Well, he must be using "new Math" because the results were 81,000,000 for Biden and 74,000,000 for Trump.. about 7 million.. Of course the "red flag" is that Biden got over 11,000,000 votes than Obama did.. who actually believes that! Another thing is of those 7,000,00 more popular votes, 5,000,000 were in California, and 2,000,000 were in NY. two states that have no interest in controlling who's legal to vote anyway...and another 1,000,000 in Illinois.. 3 states Republicans don't even campaign in. Which means Trump got the most popular votes in the other 47 states.
