Online story: "CNN unearthed video footage showing Trump's current lawyer saying in 2018 that the Stormy Daniels hush-money payment could be a "real problem" for Trump." -- I do see one crime committed here... that of EXTORTION/Blackmail by Stormy Daniels and her lawyers!

Hey....liberals... You do know there's actually a big difference in Public Education and FREE education! One of these does not exist!

Columbus GA is in worse shape than we thought .. our 60 day "operational reserve" savings account that Bond markets look at to give the City its "rating", but that reserve is pretty much funded by the budget dollars for police officers jobs salaries that aren't being dispensed because we're about 150-to-200 officers short (a minimum of $9-to-$12 Million annually) . ...Council should be open with us ... but have CHOOSING not to be. They could give us a property tax break since they aren't actually using the money for what they are taking it away from us for...

Online headline: "Virginia's Fort Lee to become Fort Gregg-Adams next month in push remove names of Confederate figures" -- Hey! What about the new names for the 44 bridges, roads, and buildings in WV named for KKK advocate, Democrat Sen Robert Byrd?

---
Think about it...how can academia considers itself a proponent of DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) except when excluding conservative speakers and ideas on campus is pushed?

---
Online headline/story: "LAPD chief accused of feeding personal data to anti-police activists: 'Bounty on our officers' * Thousands of photos, names and other personal information for police in Los Angeles were released to an anti-police group that has published the material on a website * The information's release endangers police across the city and exposes undercover cops * A police abolitionist group called Stop LAPD Spying Coalition was able to obtain records for all police officers in the city through a public records request and then posted the information on a website titled Watch the Watchers." * News of the data getting released publicly apparently came as a surprise to the police union, which only found out about the matter through a Los Angeles Times reporter " -- Seems to me that the Police Union should file an "arrest on sight" suit against LA Chief of Police Michel Moore and Mayor Karen Bass for reckless abuse and endangerment of City employees.

---
Online headline: "Philadelphia to pay pregnant women $1K per month" -- Hmmmm.... Philadelphia would probably save money in the long run by paying single women NOT to get pregnant!

---
Online story: "World Athletics on Thursday announced its decision to exclude transgender female athletes who have been through male puberty from world rankings competitions." -- The only good thing I can say is, "Well, it's a good start!"

---
From the "looks like somebody at Fox has been reading my blog" department - Online headline/story: "National Archives just torpedoed Joe Biden's 'I know nothing' defense * By Jonathan Turley * For years, President Biden has maintained a Sgt. Schultz defense ("I know nothing, nothing!") to counter allegations that his family has profiteered on influence peddling with foreign countries and companies. * emails have emerged that show that Biden personally helped draft responses to the controversial deals in 2015 when he was vice president. It also appears that Biden officials like former White House communications director Kate Bedingfield knew of his role even as the president continued to deny any involvement." -- Hmmm... I've been associating Biden's "Sgt Schultz" defense for over 8 years, and this is the first time I've seen another journalist recognize the connection..

---
From the "Hypocrisy, thy name is Democrat!" department - Online headline "Rep. Tiffany asks why Hunter Biden hasn't been prosecuted for alleged gun crime at ATF hearing
Democrats call Republican's Hunter Biden question 'totally irrelevant'" -- Hmmm... sorta makes you a shade wary over the Democrats constant insistence "we need a new gun law!"

---
More Democrat hypocrisy: Online headline: "Pentagon diversity chief receives no disciplinary action after probe into anti-White posts * The Pentagon's diversity, equity and inclusion chief, Kelisa Wing, said, 'If another Karen tells me about her feelings… I might lose it...'-- Good grief.. Hey the "Karen" she's stereotyping is not Mayor Karen Bass of LA! It's every White woman who disagrees with her prejudicial concepts! And she sounds pretty hateful to me...

---
From the "straight from the donkey's mouth" department - Wow! ONLY 60% of our military can be ready to react to a "situation" in 96 hours.... that is not good when the enemies are 100% on the move.

---
I'm wondering why TIkTok even showed up to "testify" to a Congressional Committee... No Congressperson expected the TikTok CEO to tell the truth, so why would he show up and prove them right?

---
Ever wonder why Big Banks and Social media support Democrats... Banks can count on bail-outs, Democrats can count on donations, and liberal MSM can count on mudslinging campaign ads ....

---
Remember my item about Lydia Glaize, a GA State Democrat legislator who feels parents who don't finish high school aren't qualified to determine what's best for their children regarding which school they will attend. Well, it turns out that she was a public school teacher and that she sent her children to private schools. Maybe some of the students she taught that didn't graduate from high school should sue her for incompetence.

---
Online headline: "Houston teen accused of paralyzing woman in 'jugging' robbery has $200,000 bond cut in half" -- Hmmm...Sounds like the judge committed just as serious a crime by cutting bail on a recidivist felon!

From the "love it when liberals eat their ow]n" department - Online Opinion by Peter Lucas - Wednesday * "Joe Biden could have been a good president. All he had to do was leave things alone. Instead, he blundered into the office and wrecked the country. * He is like the guy on a Boeing 747 high over the Atlantic Ocean who breaks into the cockpit and says, "I can fly this thing" * "You don't have to, Joe," the pilot says, "It's on autopilot. * It flies itself. You know, computers." * Undeterred, Joe presses buttons and flips switches. The plane goes into a nosedive. Which is where we are today. You don't put a guy like this in control." -- Unfortunately, Peter Lucas's words.. assessment.. won't make the CNN or MSNBC nightly newscasts.

Online headline/story: "Cleaning up Georgia's COAM ( "coin operated amusement machines,") industry * How it works: Companies that own COAMs (or "master licensees"), negotiate a contract with an "operator," like a convenience store to guarantee space for their games, as each location can only have up to 9 Class Bs. * By statute, each party gets 45% of the revenues and the Lottery gets 10%. * There are more than 33,000 Class B COAMs in Georgia," -- Hmmm .. "COAM - coin operated amusement machines".. we know them better as slot machines..."how many professional business people have you ever seen camped out at a slot machine at a convenience store? Just visible proof that lotteries basically lure those most in need to part ways with their funding... yet just the formula of the redistribution of the slot machines.... 45% to the "company", and 10% to "the Lottery" means for every $1.00 a "cannot afford to lose gambling person" puts in, he/she will only average getting 45-cents back.

Online headline: "‘I’m so scared...’ : Local family concerned about SB 140 becoming law" -- Contrary to this storyline and writers opinion, \this is not an "anti-transgender bill"... It just delays the the effect of "grooming" of a minor.. in this case, maybe the rules of adoption/fostering may be in need of reform. Has any legislator looked into how allowing hormone and surgical treatments to minors adopted or placed in foster care could expose the state agencies (thus taxpayers) to a wrongful action by the child when he/she realizes, as an adult, that he/she was damaged?

---
Online headline: "Stolen lottery tickets net suspect nearly $3,000, police say" -- Alternative 1 would be for the "system" to have blocked redemption of every stolen ticket... but I see where that could endanger a clerk in a store... so...wouldn't requiring every person redeeming a lottery ticket to provide an official ID pretty much stop thefts be a good 2nd alternative?

---
Online headline: "Vulcan Materials Company seized in Mexico, lawmakers respond" -- Sounds like Obrador and Biden are coming out of the closet as Socialist buddies!

---
Online headline: "‘I diagnosed him with schizoaffective disorder…’: Psychologist takes the stand in day four of Jayvon Hatchett trial" -- hmmmm... is she saying that every 22 years he'll have another "incident of White Racism"? .. Then lock him up for life with non-White cellmates.

Writer's note: Yesterday afternoon, the defense's "expert" was overridden by the State;s "expert, and the culprit was found guilty!

---
Online headline: "Those wrongfully convicted in GA may have easier path toward restitution with new bill" -- Shouldn't the actual prosecutor and defensive attorney share the huge brunt if pertinent evidence was withheld or misrepresented or not refuted to a jury rather than the taxpayers who have already paid for the trial and prison expenses?

---
Online story: "A U.S. contractor was killed and five U.S. service members and one U.S. contractor were wounded Thursday when a suicide drone hit a coalition base near Hasakah in northeast Syria just before 2 p.m. local time, the Defense Department said in a statement." -- "five U.S. service members... were wounded"? Good grief! Even Syria has recognized how weak Biden has been! And I wonder if Biden asked Syria to do this to distract MSM from the Hunter Biden connected issues....

---
Online headline: "House Republicans fail to override Biden's first veto on retirement plan investing rule (environmental, social and governance, or ESG, rule.)" -- Hmmm... remember when Biden backed "Solyndra"... remember how that turn out for investors? Mutual Fund managers will now be forced to include "new "Solyndras" in OUR retirement funds!

---
From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "Arizona court declines most of Lake's appeal over gov's race" * In an order Wednesday, the state’s highest court said a lower court erroneously dismissed Lake’s claim challenging the application of signature verification procedures on early ballots in Maricopa County. The court sent the claim back to a trial court to consider. -- "most"? ... but not all... Proper voter ID is of the utmost importance!

---
Online headline: "California's relentless rains affect farmworkers, strawberry prices" -- Hmmm with all the droughts CA has had over past few years, excessive.. as well as much needed rain, is not the answer CA farmers needed.... and, of course, excessive "reparations" will not help California;s path to prosperity .... either...

---

WTVM-TV9 headline: " WTVM Investigates: Red light cameras in Phenix City, AL more for safety or city profit" --  Question one as whether the "system" is "fair" is:  Are the timings of the Green-to-Yellow-to-Red sufficient in time allowed to adjust driving/braking habits, and are the timings adjusted differently for the variable speed limit at each light? I ask because the lights in Columbus, GA seem to be the same timing whether the speed limit is 30, 35, or 40/45, and that makes reasonable stopping distances for light changes different.
