Online "headLIE": "Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell hospitalized after falling" -- Hmm....This isn't his first "fall"... he fell from Grace after the 2020 Election; plunged to new depths following the 2022 Elections; and now seems to be "auditioning" to become the next "First Alert: I've fallen and I can't get up!" icon when he loses his Senate job...

Online headline: "President Biden is expected to propose a series of major tax hikes on Thursday as part of his administration's plan to reduce the deficit over the next decade." -- Good grief... Biden must be listening to Janet Yellen-Hollering for economic advice! The investor class of American citizens will shut down their taxable income stream by putting their money into non-taxable bonds rather than risk their capital while interest rates climb higher and higher.

---
Online headline: "Trump made me do it: Liberal media blames its dismissal of lab leak theory on ex-president's 'xenophobia'" -- You know... The constant attacks on Trump's character and policies was the result of MSM reading and believing the stories that they made up about him to paint him as negative as they could...

---
Online headline: "Twitter laughs, groans as Jill Biden gives biological male Women of Courage award: 'Up your game, ladies' * Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted, 'It’s International Women’s Day – a good time to remember that Democrats can’t even tell you what a woman is'" -- Hmmm... makes you really wonder who the Dems were counting when they claim they are winning the "women's vote"...

---
Online headline: "Proposed bill would put Georgia State Patrol post in Buckhead" -- Hmmm...and why should the GA State Patrol be doing the job that the APD should be doing? Secondly, why should all GA taxpayers foot the bill that the Atlanta Council should be paying?

---
Online headline: "Fort Benning renaming ceremony scheduled for May" -- Hmmm...with zero disrespect to Colonel Moore, it sounds a bit oxymoronic to say Ft Benning will have a renaming ceremony when it will always be known as "Ft. Benning". I'm real surprised Col. Moore or his family would agree with this.. It's ironically and satirically funny that so much "to do" was made in 2018 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Ft Benning, and now politicians want to "cancel and erase it".

---
Online headline: "These 14 Democratic senators broke with Biden and voted against striking down the DC criminal code" -- What's interesting is that the new "dangerousness" is attributable to "undocumented transients" that came (or were bused courtesy of Texas Governor Abbott) to Washington, DC, and Democrat Congresspersons are having to deal with the reality of the open border they created as they claim that the border is "secure".

---
From the "Talk about "dirty secrets" department - Bill Clinton got the fewest percent of votes of any winning president in our lifetime...possibly in America's lifetime... The '92 & '96 elections were determined by the votes given to Ross Perot as a 3rd Party candidate....Hellary got a much larger percent of votes than Bill in either of his 2 "wins".

WRBL-TV3 headline: "City Councilor speaks out on violence in Columbus, GA" -- An interesting question needs to be asked... and answered: Recent "figuring" indicates that we only have between 8 and 14 officers on street patrol during any one shift here in Columbus, GA, and not too long ago , we had 36...what has happened .. or is happening to all those cars that obviously aren't used/needed?

---
Already I've thought about another question... I remember when Columbus, GA patrol officers were not allowed to take their "take home" vehicles out of Muscogee County if they lived in another county, but now they can...or do. I remember the purpose was two-fold... One was a perk for our officers, but the other was to give visual presence of a police officer in Columbus neighborhoods. Taking those cars to other counties.. or possibly to another state defeats one of the main reasons for the program.

From the "Confirmation that no one should listen to the opinion of "someone who has his head stuck up his past" department - Online opinion "headLIE"/content: "Opinion: The Civil War Was About White Supremacy and the ‘Cornerstone Speech’ Proves It * By Walter Rhein * In my opinion, the Cornerstone Speech is one of the most appallingly racist things that has ever been written. * After reading the Cornerstone Speech, it’s laughable to think that some Americans still insist the Civil War was not about slavery. They try to claim that the Civil War was about states’ rights, but that is a dishonest argument because the “states' rights” they’re referring to is the right to own slaves." -- You know.. the Civil War was about the Constitution... the same Constitution that gives Rhein the floor to display his historical ignorance and lack of vision...When the Civil War began, like it or not... slavery was NOT ILLEGAL, and without the South's secession and war, slavery may have continued for decades longer. Think about it... slavery was not stopped because Congress "won a war" or "passed a new law", slavery was outlawed because the American people looked into their hearts and passed a Constitutional Amendment to stop it! America is the greatest, most unique, and longest form of continuous government in history!

WRBL-TV3 story: "COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The parade route for the 2023 Fountain City Mardi Gras has been released. * The parade will line up at the Trade Center on Saturday, March 11 at 10 a.m." -- ?.... huh... Since when is "Fat Tuesday" celebrated on the 3rd Saturday following Ash Wednesday?

---
From the "talk about shooting oneself in the foot, the PGA has about gnawed theirs off" department - Online headline/story: "Reigning Champion Cameron Smith Is Banned From the Players Championship, but He Might Show Up Uninvited Anyway * Scottie Scheffler may have won the PGA Tour Player of the Year last season, but no one else played better golf than Cameron Smith. In 18 starts, the Aussie won three tournaments and finished inside the top 10 seven times. His three wins came at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, the Players Championship, and the Open Championship — three of the most prestigious events on the PGA Tour calendar." -- Thank heaven the Masters is not so short-sighted as the PGA...

---
Columbus L-E headline: "‘Like a quiet storm.’ Behind-the-scenes Columbus community leader Charles Clark dies" -- What a good man... we will miss him... but never forget him or his bride and family...

---
Columbus L-E headline/story: "One out of three Columbus area kids has this problem. A $5.7 million plan aims to solve it * Responding to a surge in need for food assistance around the Chattahoochee Valley, a Columbus regional food bank is expanding and seeks the community’s help to pay for the $5.7 million project. * Feeding the Valley , one of eight regional food banks in Georgia, is scheduled to conduct a groundbreaking ceremony at 9 a.m., Thursday, March 9, to celebrate the start of constructing the expansion of its warehouse in Midland, at 6744 Flat Rock Road." -- hmmmm, sounds like Feeding the Valley doesn't think Biden's efforts and policies will ease poverty and hunger issues anytime soon. Why doesn't "Feeding the Valley" just try to raise the $5.7 Million to attain food to dispense? Hmmm... another more than pertinent question: Aren't we in the middle of food chain shortages.... why does Feeding the Valley want to expand construction costs are high and when food shortages are going to be with us for the next few years?

---
Online headline: "Democratic senators, led by Elizabeth Warren, are demanding answers from Walgreens on abortion pills." -- Hmmmm .. the last time I checked, Walgreens was a publicly traded private corporation, and it's officers have the right to decide what ..and what not... to offer its customers to buy. I do want to ask Sen Warren why her mother wasn't a LEADING proponent of abortions...

---
WRBL-TV3 headline: "Powerful Columbus, GA lawmaker says crime problem impacting city’s ability to recruit businesses, retain top executives" -- Hmmm... and how many years have I been pointing this out? Oh... but let's not leave out the negative effect our poor education results our Public Schools have, either.

---
Online headline: "Home Depot founder schools Fed, Biden over the 'tragedy' that comes with inflation * Americans living paycheck to paycheck ‘get hurt the most’ by inflation, Biden policies, Ken Langone says" -- Yep! This is the reality.. No new taxes will offset what responsible government - at local. state, and National levels - spending can do for all Americans...

---
Online headline: 'Two Republicans join Senate Democrats to advance Eric Garcetti nomination despite sexual harassment scandal" -- Hmmm... a sexual predator is being sent to India....And you wonder where the term, "Ugly American" came from..

---
From the "oxymoron of the year" department - Online headline: "Democrats who can't define 'woman' celebrate International Women's Day" .....

---
Online headline: "House Dems vote against bill to permanently classify fentanyl as Schedule 1 controlled substance" -- Hmmm... the Republicans should reintroduce the bill, but this time Representatives should vote by tossing a Fentanyl pill in a trash can to vote "YES", and swallow a Fentanyl pill to register a "NO" vote.

---
Online headline: "Nine boxes of Biden documents were taken from Boston office" -- Why hasn't Biden's attorney been arrested for transporting up unauthorized classified documents! Wait a minute.. he's an attorney and knew he didn't not have clearance to handle, store, or transport classified documents, and claiming he doesn't know what's in the boxes does not excuse his ignorance of the law... besides, he knew/knows Biden...

---
After her unbridled defense of Resident Biden's success of Fentanyl impoundment at the border, I think it's time that Karine Jean-Pierre strap on a lie detector any time she speaks about what the White House says about anything...

---
Online headline: "Education secretary lauds $1.5B in student loan relief for Georgians" -- Good grief! Two things: Why does the Secretary of Education promote Biden's program that the Supreme Court will shut down?", and "Why did I do the responsible thing and save money all along to put my 3 children through college so they could start their adult lives without such debt?" If the Court fails to uphold Congress's right to be the determiner of money spent, I want to be paid back... so my bride and I can do some things we denied ourselves of doing in order to "Do The Right Thing" for our kids.

---
Online headline: "LA city council members introduce 'Sanctuary City' legislation
Los Angeles is home to more than 1 million migrants in the country illegally" -- "LA is home to more than 1 million in country illegally"? Hey.. then why aren't the people who "know" tis rounded up and arrested! Let's start with Newsom, PeLOUSY, Schi**, Waters, and Feinstein!

---
Online headline: "Senator Reverend Warnock Applauds USDA Announcement to Provide Financial Assistance To Farmers Who Have Faced Historic Discrimination" -- Good grief! Are the Democrats going to do this EVERY year? Didn't Congressman Sanford Bishop just do this?
