Online headline/story: "‘Mississippi miracle’: Kids’ reading scores have soared in Deep South states * Mississippi went from being ranked the second-worst state in 2013 for fourth-grade reading to 21st in 2022. * The previous liberal federal education curriculum just felt the problem was just about students there being poor. * If we just threw more money at the schools, test scores and literacy would go up. How many decades have we been hearing that now? In 2013, Mississippi ranked 49th in literacy in America. But suddenly, in 2022, Mississippi ranked 21st in the country when it comes to literacy How'd they do that? Mississippi passed a law that schools there have to go back to a phonics-based system of teaching kids how to read. The "whole language" approach adopted as a mid-20th century fad clearly didn't work. Many high schools in Chicago now have graduating classes where not a single student can read at a 5th-grade level. How! Aren't we glad GA has added phonics back to our education curriculum? I never thought I'd ever say this, but maybe the Columbus GA School System can catch up with Mississippi!

John "Boston Butt" Kerry claims 30% of pollution emissions comes from farm animals (mainly cows). Hmmmm... what he doesn't say is that most of the "hot air" affecting Climate Change comes from politicians and green energy activists..

Learned something new about our history yesterday... There's a Monument in Boston remembering the 11,000 American Revolutionary soldiers that died on English Prison Ships anchored in Boston Harbor due to abhorrent British conditions am=nd policies. Hmmm... Isn't the same Royal Family then still living in the palaces in England? Talk about a REAL REPARATION situation! Arrest William when he tries to get back into America and ransom him!

It seems TARGET is looking closely at the effect a bad marketing decision by Budweiser can do to a corporations "bottom line"... but what TARGET should have being looking at was at the "crotch line" on it's Women's Swimwear engineered to accommodate men's external genitalia.. What most mothers will fear is having "men" trying on swimwear in the same dressing rooms as the mothers and their daughters. Oh! And then it's become public that TARGET is also selling clothes from a Satanic organization.... TARGET is about to become "the target"!

Did you see the videos of the Hunter College in NYC who attacked a school approved Pro-Choice group, then assaulted a New York Post reporter who went to her home to get a statement? She verbal threatened to "chop him up" then put a machete to his neck.. Officials at the college quickly responded by saying she would be immediately removed from teaching at Hunter... but what he didn't say was that the professors union supported her actions, and because of that, she will simply be shuffled off to another undisclosed CCNY college and no other mention of it will happen.. NY parents.. haven't you had ENOUGH of liberalism in your children's education?

The Republicans have an opportunity in two weeks at the GA Republican Party Convention right here in Columbus, GA! An opportunity to unify on a campaign plan to get women voters to look at all Republican candidates as a better choice than any Democrat. The issue to address is not the economy, the border, crime, taxes or education.. voters know what those issues are..... it's reminding women that no matter what the Democrats promise on women's issues, they aren't going to deliver. But the Republicans need to get through to women that even if Democrats could.. .would..deliver, electing Democrats makes the issues the economy, the border, crime, taxes or education.. to be decided by Democrats.

Te Columbus Chamber praised a Firetruck Pulloff at CVCC in Phenix City...Wow! Online headline: "Russiagate government figures exposed in Durham report were rewarded with cushy TV gigs, lucrative book deals * Andrew McCabe, John Brennan, James Clapper were among key players in the Trump-Russia collusion investigation" -- As Mel Blanc said, "Being the King is good"... if you are a Democrat... Those three were caught with
both hands in the FBI cookie jar, and Democrats buried them... in full view! Heck, they even got McCabe's federal lifetime pension (that Trump stripped him of) RESTORED!

Online headline/story: "House Democrat All But Tells Biden’s Treasury Secretary to Stay in Her Lane on 14th Amendment Question * Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) took issue with comments from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who said invoking the 14th Amendment would spark a “constitutional crisis” surrounding the debt ceiling." -- And when a California liberal is concerned about his, we know it's going to be a dire mistake on Yellen&Hollerin's part!

From the "no wonder the Mayor doesn't want the Columbus GA Police Department to hire enough police officers!" department - Online story: "That proposed sale was dropped when (Columbus, GA) city leaders learned of the covenant the state of Georgia placed on the South Commons when it gave the land to the city in 1928. * That restriction enshrined in state law said the property “shall be kept open and used only for the purpose of a public park and playground and devoted to such amusement and pleasure as ... the City of Columbus may designate.” * The restriction also mandated that the City of Columbus “shall have no power or authority to convey any part or portion of said real property without the assent of two-thirds of the qualified voters of said city at a special election to be held for that purpose.” * With no public discussion, council moved to eliminate that restriction during a late-night meeting on Feb. 28, a session that primarily focused on the controversy over then-police chief Freddie Blackmon. * That evening, councilors talked about Golden Park during a closed-door session to discuss real estate, which is an exception to the state open meetings law, allowing private meetings involving “negotiations to purchase, dispose of or lease property.” * Council then voted on a resolution asking state legislators to remove the covenant, with the resolution presented as a last-minute “add-on” to the city manager’s agenda, so it was not on the council agenda publicized before the meeting." -- Wait a minute... "the City of Columbus “shall have no power or authority to convey any part or portion of said real property without the assent of two-thirds of the qualified voters of said city at a special election to be held for that purpose.”" I sure hadn't had my opportunity to vote.. and it looks like back room politics has shafted EVERY Columbus, GA voters' right! Glenn Davis was the only Councilor who got it right.. just as Bobby Peters was when the Council gave away the Medical Center. Makes us really need to get into how the 2000 Council approved a tax exempt entities request to rezone 40 of acres for commercial build.. and left the property "exempt" from property taxes.. Oh.. current Mayor Skip and current Councilor Allen were ON THAT COUNCIL that approved that so they have no reason for not being open about what.. and how.. that happened!

---
Online story: "In a last-minute addition to Columbus GA Council’s agenda Tuesday night, Mayor Skip Henderson asked councilors to support bringing a Minor League Baseball team back to Golden Park. * Council voted unanimously to approve the resolution as its 5:30 p.m. meeting began." -- How quickly does Council forget it was asking Charlie Morrow to take the Red Stixx over to Columbus State's field for the 1995 & 1996 seasons so the ill-fated Olympic Softball venue could take over Golden Park... and that COST Columbus it's Minor League team.. and don't forget when the Chattahoochee Fair agreed to move to the old King Airport down Victory Drive so the new Civic Center could be built based on the Fair having access to the Civic Cent when it was finished... and then the City reneged on that promise and we lost "the Fair".. what replaced the "Fair" was a joke.

Adams has had to deal with 8,000 illegal aliens (while NYC has had 500,000 American citizens LEAVE NYC), while Texas Governor Abbott has to deal with MILLIONS of illegal aliens.. but I bet Adams's not asking Biden to pay Texas for all it's costs...nor is he asking..telling.. Biden to close the border securely.
