I've been getting e-mails returned as "blocked" from 3 Columbus GA Elected officials ... 2 are Council members (Toyia Tucker and Bruce Huff), and one from the school board (Mark Cantrell). Granted, none are in my voting district, but it tells me a lot about their lack of concern for knowing what's going on in Columbus, GA... Like all of our elected official .. and a few salaried department heads, I send a "blog" 5 days a week to make sure they are aware of things that are going on with commentary that brings up local and state issues some may not have thought about. I know some are daily readers, and some probably occasional readers, but the important things is that they are... or can be...aware of some things they may not want to acknowledge. Anyway, that"s their choice, and while I can't vote for or against those three, I do reach many voters from their districts, so they better find a way to stay abreast of issues .. PS: They will stay on my list in case they wander back...

We have to get the Supreme Court to reinstate the Census counts to only count US Citizens in the next and every Census in the future because our Congressional Districts are determined by headcounts. Just using the conservative number of 7,000,000 illegal border crossers this past year alone, that's enough people to make 9 more Congressional Districts (which won't happen), but what will happen, and has happened, is that sending non-citizens into 20 or 30 conservative Districts could.. no.. would forever change the House balance.

Wow! Obviously, NYC Mayor Eric Adams is not able to "Walk the Talk" he used to get elected Mayor. He's maintained a "sanctuary city" and now is complaining about "sanctuary seekers" coming into "his" city.... and calling the Texas Governor a racist for helping those "sanctuary seekers" find a "sanctuary city".

Speaking of the blessing of having a financial wizard come aboard on Council is having someone questioning various departments for consistency in records. Right now, there may be need for a forensic audit of of Tax Assessor's Office... A situation I've brought up multiple times is the unpublished sale of some 25 acres of previously tax exempt land off River Road a Church sold to an apartment developer that had to be in the multiple millions of dollars, and what tax revenues have (and can be expected) been realized..

The position of the White House on the budget and debt issues is backasswards.. The President's job is to keep the Congress from overspending, not determining the amount that can be spent. While the President can submit plans and spending requests, all spending has to be submitted by the House, with Senate approval, and the President has veto power if Congress overspends.

Resident Biden is sending 1,500 Us Troops to the Southern Border... but with a 'catch'..they won't be there to stop illegal entry, but to coddle them more. Supposedly, it will free up Texas's border agents to "enforce the law", but Biden has already pretty much NEUTERED such laws. My guess is Biden figures using Fed Troops will keep Governor Abbott from knowing what's going on and shut down the Texas bus shuttle program to major BLUE states and cities.
