A public-private partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Columbus Gateway, and Mr. John Flournoy that was put up in appreciation of the Maneuver Center of Excellence." -- Hmmm... the "proposed" changes not only waste more money, but disrupts every delivery service (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, Uber, DoorDash, FTD, etc) and map apps (Google, Waz, MapQuest, etc) and even 911 and utility calls.... and what about neighborhood names.. even people's names... and Social Security and DMV records.. There's no reason to extend the level of "DUH!" this path can take us down.. Hey Mayor Skip, how about the street and neighborhood YOU live in...I'm sure 1 Native American is offended by your living on Comanche Rd near Cherokee Lake. Oh.. and by the way... Columbus, GA already has a Moore Rd (which is an intersecting access road to Comanche Rd).
