Hmmm… let’s talk about two other aspects of the latest info available concerning the way-out-of-control new cost projects for the new Columbus. GA government/judicial center: First.. renovating the existing structure which early analysis said was pretyy much economically a “dead idea”… well, now it’s being looked back into. Secondly, “After the council briefing, Kleppin said the design team has been in touch with Springer Opera House representatives, to keep them updated on the design plans, which included projections showing the new judicial center rarely would cast a shadow over the three-story theater.” Hey… building a 90-100’ high structure across from the Springer Opera House is gonna cast lots of shadows ON the Springer.. especially in the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons when the sun is low on the horizon!
