Sadly, Jimmy Buffett has passed
away... fortunately, he'll be with us forever.. Most of us have our "Margaritaville"
to return to .. my bride and I enjoy one at Monterey Tex-Mex at the corner of
Whittlesey and Whitesville Roads.

Wow! In 2026, America will celebrate
the 250 Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.. hmmm
... that means the next president elected will be in charge of it.. Now,
seriously, do we want a president, like Donald Trump who will celebrate openly
with us, or Biden, who would probably head to his Delaware beach home and hide
out in his basement ? Oh! And if any Democrat attains he Oval Office, we’ll
probably see fireworks banned from the 4th of July celebration because of
Climate Change….

Online story: “Walt Disney Co. has
pulled its channels, including ESPN and ABC stations, from Charter
Communications' Spectrum pay-TV service * Thursday night's blackout on Spectrum
came minutes before the kickoff of a highly anticipated college football game
between the Utah Utes and Florida Gators on ESPN and during Spanish phenomenon
Carlos Alcaraz's tennis match at the U.S. Open in New York on ESPN2. “ – Wow!
Disney BLEW IT worse than Budweiser. Disney blocked out the ESPN channels, and
the SEC channel, and season opening games for Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama were
not seen... others, too, weren't shown, but Disney would have fared better
going forward if Disney had replaced Mickey Mouse with Dylan Mulvaney.

Massey-Ferguson "Red
Zone", “Barbasol” , Ken Nugent 1st-half sponsor, "Delta", GA
Farm Bureau Ins, Piedmont Healthcare Radio Booth, GA Metals, Dos Equis, AG
South, Atlanta Area BMWs, Kroger, GA Peanuts, "Hot 7" GA Lottery, and
some "I didn't catch the name" roofing company got the best deal of
their ad season! With no TV coverage due to Disney, more radios and cellphone
apps were turned on to the GA-UTM game than since the 1960s.
---
With Disney ruining the opening
weekend of college football, I had time to "search stuff" as we
listed to the radio broadcast of the Bulldawgs' game... Something peaked my
interest after hearing the current College Football Hall of Fame is now in
Atlanta. I looked for some names of outstanding ball players of "my
day".. and was amazed... NO.. SHOCKED.. that Joe Namath is not in the
College Hall of Fame! If Joe from Beaver Falls, PA isn't in it, I ain't gonna
waste my money going to see it!
---
Online headline: “Correction: City
sends wrong news release. Columbus, GA street closure will be much shorter” --
Hmmmm ... thought the "Dragonfly Trail" at the 10th Street Underpass
JUSTIFICATION to begin with was about IMPROVING the LIGHTING! Obviously just an
improperly researched "feel good" waste of City resources that now
need to be re-improved using even more City resources.

In the 1980 presidential election,
Ronald Reagan asked the voters, "Are you better off now than you were four
years ago?" Carter won 4 states and Washington, DC... Even Democrat
strongholds Delaware, California, New York and Illinois went Republican. This
is why the Democrats do not want Trump running.. people can compare the
2017-2020 economy under Trump versus the 2021-2024 economy under Biden. Can't
you see showman Trump asking the voters, "Are you better off now than you
were four years ago?".

Online story: “ Athens-Clarke County
Mayor Kelly Girtz joined other mayors from around the state on Friday in a
letter urging Governor Kemp and the members of the Georgia General Assembly to
take action to lessen gun violence in the state. The letter is signed by 43
mayors.” -- Hmmmm... you know, when talking about local violent crime, it's
actually about the way Mayors, local DAs, local Judicial departments and LOCAL
JURIES handle the issues.
---
Looks like NYC is going to compete
against network reality shows next season…. Online story: “The New York City
Police Department announced plans to fly surveillance drones over the city this
Labor Day weekend to monitor outdoor parties or barbecues following complaints
about large gatherings. “ – Sounds like a sequel to George Orwell’s “1984”…..
working title is, “ Big Bro is watching you!”
---
Online “headLIE”: “President Joe
Biden cited his hectic schedule when he was asked Saturday why he had not yet
visited East Palestine, Ohio, months after the town was devastated by a train
derailment that polluted the environment and contaminated water.” -- Hmmm…
“Hectic schedule”? Biden spends more time in Delaware than Washington!
---
Our media is so ill-informed and
ill-informing!... Fox News was discussing the lack of age caps on elected and
appointed officials, with a young woman who’s whole argument for "younger
leadership" was that most of our Founding Fathers were 18, 19 and 20 year
olds. Of course, the facts are that the YOUNGEST signer of our Declaration of
Independence signed in 1776 was born in 1749, Thomas Lynch, making him 27, and
"young writer" Thomas Jefferson was 33, and first signer, John
Hancock was 39, and that "teenager" Benjamin Franklin was barely 70
years old. .... and no one from Fox questioned her LIES! Now, I do believe a
cap needs to be in play... one called "Term Limits". Most of our
problems in Congress are caused by too much seniority power... When new
Senators/Representatives are elected, and go to Washington with "vim &
vigor", they quickly learn that if they don't comply with Party leadership,
they won't get "anything" and probably will face a challenger in
their first re-election cycle, so unless they "go along to get
along", they are "toast"!
---
You know, if you thought the U S
President had a hard job, think about his spokespersons and CNN anchors and The
View panelists who have to keep a straight face when they are lying about
Biden's "successes".

Online story: “The Georgia church
that sends Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., a sizable monthly housing allowance
*which, BTW, exceeds allowed Senate limits) has resumed evicting renters from
its low-income housing units after a brief pause during Warnock's recent
election effort. * Ebenezer Baptist Church has moved to evict six residents of
an apartment building for falling behind on rent since December, according to
the Washington Free Beacon. The evictions come despite the building receiving
more than $15 million in federal assistance for housing the homeless. * Four
residents of Columbia MLK Tower have been taken to court for missing less than
two months of rent this year, the outlet reported. – Hmmm…SINator Warnock never
has seen one of the 10 Commandments he didn’t like to break…
---
WRBL-TV3 story: “COLUMBUS, Ga. – The
Columbus Consolidated Government’s (CCG) Public Works Department Integrated
Wast Division is introducing their new Columbus Blue automated side loaders
that are set to start collecting household garbage on Sept. 11. * The automated
side loaders will only collect garbage from the city-issued black cart, but the
city says if residents have additional bags of household garbage, residents can
place the bags on the curbs three feet away from the cart, and the bags will be
picked up as well. * The city says after January 2024, all household garbage
bags must be placed in the black cart for collection. “ – Hmmm… aside from
diverting attention with the Democratic Party agenda to avoid recognizing a
“National Day of Mourning”, Columbus Council is dodging another bullet by not
addressing “the elephant in the 2024 room”.., Council is going to pick up your Christmas
trash THIS YEAR that doesn’t fit in the “Big Black Trashcan”, but only because
if they didn’t, then trash pick-ups… (or lack of such) … would become a major
election issue here in Columbus GA when we have our local elections on March
5th during the “Super Tuesday”, and with a majority of BOTH Columbus
Council/Mayor and Muscogee County School Board members running for
re-election…with something like “bad trash service” being on voters’ minds, the
voters might “clean house” of the old board members.
I tell you what.. when the trash
collected becomes limited to the one black City- distributed trash can,
Columbus GA Council may have to go back to twice-a-week pick-ups…
---
WTVM-TV9 story: COLUMBUS, Ga. - The
Columbus Police Department charged a 19-year-old with felony homicide by
vehicle for a deadly car crash that took place in July. * According to
officials, on July 12, 2023 around 1:20 p.m., Columbus Police officers
responded to the intersection of Amber Drive and Valleybrook Road in reference
to a car crash with injuries. * Further investigation revealed a 2014 BMW 535i,
driven by Zandarius Brooks, 19, was traveling at a high rate of speed going
west on Valleybrook Road towards the intersection with Amber Drive. “—You know,
between “ hand-weapon homicides” and vehicular homicides, Columbus GA is
rapidly closing in on our 50th homicide for 2023! There’s even time to
challenge 2021’s record year!

Why do liberals love the word
"could"? Why... because "could" implies their babble has
possibilities... though slim to never... of coming true, without having to
support their thoughts.. It’s especially true when liberals talk about Trump
issues..
---
There is something about the
incident at a high school football game in Columbus GA last week that just reeks
of cover-up. Two middle school girls having a fight in the bleachers does not
send other nearby students scurrying for their lives, nor players and referees
diving to the ground on the field. Even the "post game arrest" of 3
teens with guns outside the stadium is more than suspect considering the claim
that no shots were fired... to me, it's hard to see 3 teens being spotted
brandishing weapons in a large crowd (if there weren't shots calling attention
to themselves) for the police to pick them out. Even the School System quickly
announcing all other games scheduled at A J McClung-Memorial Stadium were being
canceled brings additional suspicion to whether there is a cover-up about what
happened... The Muscogee County School Board needs to make sure what has been
told to the public is the WHOLE truth .
---
Online headline: “Mass exodus of
retirees could be causing labor shortage” -- Hmmm...Let's just look at GA....if
there are only 57 available workers for every 100 jobs, it pretty much means
that either too many non-job-seeking GA adults are either having too much
government aid, or they have unreported income coming in illegally.
---
Online “headLIE”: “A Georgia trial
arguing redistricting harmed Black voters could decide control of a US House
seat” -- No Congressional District should be drawn that considers anything but
the best distribution .. in this case, citizens of GA… based on evenness of the
number of citizens, and the least variable designs of the districts. Any
consideration of race or political party registration should be considered
bigoted or racist.. Once drawn, anyone can move to and/or live in the district
of their choice.

From the “this is why college
presidents don’t need to mess with football” department - Online story: “ ACC
presidents and chancellors met Friday morning and voted to add three schools --
Stanford, Cal and SMU -- the conference announced. It will bring the conference
to 18 members, with 17 playing football full time in the league.” – Why would
Atlantic Coast Presidents WANT to schedule games in California? I’m not even
talking about the extra travel time and expenses of team travel! I’m not even
talking about the time and expense hardships imposed on ACC alumni and fans!
…Haven’t the ACC Presidents heard what California does to athlete’s and teams?
Both players and teams from out of state must pay the California taxes on all
the games played in California so all team shares will take a hit for every ACC
game played in CA.. Oh, and now that “NIL” is in effect for all players,
individual players will have accounting nightmares trying to comply with CA
laws…

Honesty Poll: Who drank last week's
and this week's "2 per week" Biden imposed beer allotment before
halftime on Saturday?
---
Online headline: “Dem Governor
Murphy says NJ can't take any migrants from NYC as DHS eyes new housing
locations” -- Hmmmm.... so much for the Democrat mantra that it's the
"party of inclusion"...
---
Online horror story: “ “Oregon is
the only state where personal use amounts of most hard drugs are
decriminalized. * Gov. Tina Kotek signed a law in July creating a misdemeanor
charge for people who possess between 1 and 5 grams of fentanyl, the deadliest
drug in the state. Possession of five to 24 pills was also made a misdemeanor
that can carry a year jail sentence. * Two milligrams of fentanyl is enough to
cause a fatal overdose, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.” –
Good grief! 1 gram of Fentanyl has 500 doses of lethal Fentanyl doses, 5 grams
has 2,500 lethal doses,, somehow, this doesn’t sound like personal recreational
usage.
---
Online headline: ‘Judge Denies
Georgia DA’s Request to Tell Trump and Co-Defendants Speedy Trial Has a Cost”
-- Wait a minute! I thought our Constitution guaranteed every citizen a
"right to a speedy trial", and yet Fulton County's DA says Trump has
to pay extra for one.....I guess DA Fani Willis is saying no one but the
wealthy has a right to a speedy trial!
---
Online “story”: “Former House
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., trashed supporters of former President Donald
Trump in an interview with Bloomberg Television, claiming they’re people who
either don’t value the dignity of "every person" or are
"afraid" of change. “ -- Good grief! I guess Queen PeLOUSY feels that
only people she keeps under the thumb of government welfare checks have
“dignity”…
---
Online story: “U.S. military
officials have called for an end to the escalating civil war in Syria over
concerns that it could lead to a resurgence of ISIS, while critics accuse some
regional leaders — including those in Iran — of leaning on "ethnic"
tensions to drive the fighting. “ – Hmmm… “could” lead to a “resurgence of
ISIS”? Well, Biden’s election has already lead to a resurgence od Asswad! When
you think about it, since Trump left office and Biden became president, it’s
not just Asswad who’s had a resurgence.. the Afghanistan Taliban, Ayatollah Ali
Khamenei, Putin of Russia, , Kim Jong Ooops of N Korea, , and China’s Xi
Jinping have also had a resurgence!
---
Online headline: “California to
expand fossil fuel project Gavin Newsom said he was 'fully committed' to
shutting down” – Hmmm… me thinks Newsom has figured out that when Californians
arise in 2024, wind and solar power are not gonna provide him with enough
energy to get “safely out of Dodge”…
---
Online story: “Gymnastics Australia
has released new guidelines for transgender athletes. * The federation
announced this week athletes may "wear the uniform" and "use
changing and bathroom facilities" based on their gender identity.” --
Hmmm… what needs to happen is for all virile male gymnasts in Australia
“declare themselves female” during the next gymnastics meet, and then declare
they want to use the home bathroom facilities of all the Gymnastics Australia
officials wives and daughters.
---
Online story: “Buttigieg earlier
this month (August) appointed 24 new members to his Advisory Committee on
Transportation Equity, an Obama-era body that Buttigieg is reviving after the
Trump administration scrapped it. Included on the committee is Andrea
Marpillero-Colomina, a "spatial policy scholar" who says "ALL
CARS ARE BAD" given that they cause "a myriad of environmental issues
and conditions." Another Buttigieg appointee, self-described
"transportation nerd" Veronica Davis, argued in an August essay that
cars perpetuate "systemic racism" and are therefore "the
problem" in America's transportation system.” – “All Cars Are Bad”? Hope
the U.A.W. is paying close attention.. Does this mean, too, that Resident Biden
has to get rid of his ’67 Vette? And I guess Uber will declare bankruptcy ….
---
Online headline:” DHS to launch
‘national campaign’ to get some migrants work permits as New York begs for
help” -- Hmmm ..since when is creating jobs for illegal aliens help secure
America for Americans?
---
Liberals denounce "trickle down
economics" as anti middle class.. Then they say we can build our economy
"from" the middle class up.. of course, no liberal can explain where
the middle class investment capital is hiding to create the jobs and build the
economy. Also, when libs talk about "building the economy from the middle
class upward", they never talk about how the lower class will survive, or
whether the wealthy class will even care about investing the real money in
middle class ventures.
---
Biden is such a liar.. but it's
because he's a liberal, and MSM ain't gonna call him on them when it suits the
MSM agenda. Friday, he stated he's proposed a raise for a new overtime protocol
for salaried people making up to $55,000.00 to get overtime for time over 40
hours. First, it'll never "pass" and he knows this so he can offer it
without recourse. Secondly, if it did pass, it would mean a lot of salaried
front line management jobs would just vanish....
---
It's really an oxymoron when
Resident Biden tries to promote "Bidenomics" as a positive .. When he
brings it up, he says, "Bidenomics.... guess what".... then he leans
over into the microphone and whispers, " it's working" .... hmmm...
you know, if I were trying to promote my program as "working", I'd be
a lot louder promoting it as WORKING!
---
Online headline: “TikToker refusing
to give up first-class seat to a teen went viral. We asked travelers what they
would do” -- Hmmm… shouldn't the real question be about why one of the parents
didn't let their teen child sit next to one of them and the other parent sit in
the solo seat?
