Yesterday was suppose to be “special” in our neighborhood here in Columbus, GA… but it wasn’t…. All last week, the City was fired up about sending out it’s NEW BLUE Automated Garbage Trucks... but we didn’t get one in our neighborhood.. It was a “holiday week” so our Monday pickups were moved to Wednesday, the neighbors were careful line up their Black and Blue cans.. 3+ feet apart, and wheels to the curb in anticipation. WE heard the roar of a BIG truck early in the AM, and went to windows to get a peek… but, man, we were disappointed! Not olt was it not a “new Blue Truck”, it was an oldie.. and one of the less attractive ones at that. Somehow, the anticipation for next week being better just isn’t making things happier.
