From the “I thought I’d heard everything when I heard elephants could fly” department – Online story: Bessemer, AL - “An Alabama dog rescue is welcoming in 16 dogs rescued from the Israeli-Gazan war. * 17 dogs landed in New York from Tel Aviv over the weekend. As one is sick and quarantined, the remaining 16 made the road trip from New York to North Carolina before making their final stop in Alabama. * “Welcome home,” said Sonya King, founder and executive director of Two by Two Rescue. “Your long travels are over.” * Coming from Israel and Gaza, many of the dogs arriving in Alabama understand Hebrew and Arabic, not English.” – Good GRIEF! We have Americans trapped in Haiti, and this “charity” feels uprooting dogs from Israel/Gaza is more worthy! I could write my whole blog today on what’s wrong with this, but will shorten it down to just 3 more things: 1 – Why were these dogs taken away from their native areas? 2 – Why were these dogs checked medically for diseases when illegal aliens crossing our border AREN’T? and 3 – If the dogs understand Hebrew & Arabic, but not English, what does a dog’s bark sound like in Hebrew or Arabic?

Writer’s note: I would check with “Charity Navigator: before sending any money to “Two by Two Rescue”!

Online headline: “School voucher bill heads to governor’s desk after Georgia Senate overcomes years of failure” -- The real bonus for this is the awareness public school systems will have to take about listening to parents about what they think their children need to be taught. I’m going to imagine reading and math scores will improve!

Online headline: “Georgia conducts first execution since 2020” -- Hmmm... I think the state should bill the protesters for the cost of "housing" their "subject" for 31 years!

Online headline: “Lawyer who exposed Fani Willis-Wade relationship surprised DA took the stand: 'Didn't bring any actual proof'” -- Well, I wasn't surprised Willis brought no proof with her when she took the stand to testify on her own behalf.. after all, she really hasn't brought any proof to the charges she's made against the defendants. Now, there’s probably plenty of proof where all her “cash” comes from… check her Campaign Account… there’s some $218,000.00 in cash disbursed but have no receipts are listed…

Online headline: “Warning: Dangerous Measles Outbreak in 17 States, Including WA, What You Need to Know” -- “Measles outbreak”? How about measles imported via illegal alien infiltration!

Online headline/story: “"I was born black." Macon Mayoral candidate evicted after fight, claims race was factor * Maxwell is facing criminal charges after investigators say she hit her apartment complex's manager in the face, causing that person to bleed. The incident stemmed from Maxwell's anger that a landscaping crew had gotten her car dirty. * Bowman Station apartments, where the incident took place, filed to evict Maxwell after the fight, asking her to only pay court fees. The eviction was approved, but Maxwell appealed it. * Maxwell said she was "illegally evicted for an unjust cost." She added, "I followed the rules, paid rent on time, and I was born black. Black shouldn't be a reason for eviction." * In her appeal, Maxwell asked for a counter-judgment of $10,500. * The eviction case resulted in a two-day long trial in which the 6-person jury found in favor of Bowman Station. Maxwell was required to pay over $10,000 in back rent, attorney's fees, and court costs.” – Hmmm… “ordered to pay her back rent”? Hmmm... guess she lied about paying rent on time…too...

Online headline: “Georgia's controversial transgender bill” -- Hmmm... a bill that keeps men from participating in women's events is called "controversial" ? The bill seems pretty obvious in intent to me... My question is, "Why do we even need such a bill?"

Online headline: “New film calling White people 'most dangerous animal' on planet bombs at box office” -- Hmmmm... $1.3 Million in ticket sales on 1,147 screens... Hmmm... that's about $1,133.00 per screen.. or less than 100 people per screen.. over 3 days which makes that about 33 people per screen per day...now if each screen had 3 showings daily, then that's about 11 people per showing. I would like to know who backed the movie financially, and how much the total costs were.

Online headline: “COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The new Columbus, Georgia baseball team announced Pete Laven as the club’s General Manager earlier today. *
The announcement came from the team’s Twitter/X account.
“Columbus your new GM is here! Pete Laven is on his way to Georgia and ready to bring AA Braves Baseball back to Columbus”
Hmmm… “bring (ing) AA Braves BACK to Columbus”? He must think I-185 is the same as I-85…

What really gets me is Council says it will spend $50 Million in “restoration” to Minor League standards, then says we will have a “state of the art” baseball stadium.. I hardly think the two can meet.

Oh! Be on the "listen-out" for the NCAA 'March Madness -First Time" video.. the music was written by Cale Dodds, not only a Columbus GA native, but who was the DJ for our youngest daughter's 13th Birthday Party held at "My Party Place" when we had held events there on Broadway back in 2009-10-11-12.. it's now the home for "Your Pie".

I'm setting a new standard for myself...I consider Fox News my primary television news source, and occasionally drift to CNN so I can compare coverage of similar events, but as of yesterday, whenever Fox News allows Juan Williams on as a "contributor", I am changing stations! Years ago, Williams worked for NPR and had periodic stints as a contributor on Fox. At that time, while I rarely agreed with Williams, his options were self-generated and discussable.. then Williams made a comment about being somewhat scared to fly on a plane when he saw some Muslim men passengers in traditional garb, NPR fired him. Fox, thought it might generate "goodwill" for it, so they hired Williams full time. Whatta mistake! While Fox knew Williams was somewhat a middle-of-road liberal, all of a sudden he became a progressive leftist, and spouted the Democrat propaganda every time he sat on a panel. Later he was put on "The Five", but he couldn't take being called out by Gutfeld and Waters, so he dropped out. Now, I plan to change channels every time he is allowed on by Fox!

What aspect of Hunter Biden's and Jim Biden's "business" of peddling BleepVeep and/or Resident Biden's access/influence could happen if Resident Biden didn't confirm it to Hunter's and Jim's businesses? ONE WORD to the world that neither his son nor brother wielded any access to him would end their businesses.

Seriously.. when the US Supreme Court issues a temporary judgement that allows a state to operate in its best interest because the federal government is not doing its job, how can the federal government appeal to a lower court to overrule the Supreme Court's ruling when the Supreme Court holds equal standings as the Legislative and Executive Branches? Oh, and how does a lower court have any "overrule power" of a Supreme Court decision?
