Hmmm.. Hillary wants to get a dog to follow Republicans around that will bark whenever one lies.  She could be her own warning system for her own speeches.
---
L-E headline: "Congresswoman stresses the importance of black history" -- Good grief... wish Rep. Lee would first learn her history, and stress the importance of accuracy.. especially here in February.
---
L-E headline/story: "City says stats show Columbus crime's lowest since 2002  * The city had 12,392 “Part I” crimes last year, a category encompassing homicides, rapes, robberies, assaults, burglaries, larcenies and auto thefts" -- 189,320 people suffered 12,392 Part 1 crimes.. One out of every 15 people in Columbus (or 1-in-4 families of 4) suffered a Part 1 crime against them. You know, try as I may, that's not a very assuring number to feel safe about.
---
Our military NEEDS a Republican president as well as a Republican Congress. Just look at the Democrat choices...a conscientious objector or the wife of a draft dodger who "loathed" the military
---
Remember the "fuel surcharge" on your plane ticket when oil prices surged? Remember how apologetic airlines were about having to raise the prices for tickets when seats were empty? Well, with oil prices now at about 2/3rds lower, have you seen the "fuel surcharge" removed? yeah...right!
---
John Sununu thinks that Trump would be better fit to run in the Democrat primary. Huh? Trump is the one raising the bar about what gets discussed. If it weren't for Trump, the Republican debates would be just as "give away" as the Democrat ones.
---
Online headline/story: "Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed Backs Waiving Sales Taxes On Tickets To Major Sporting Events  * "In my opinion it's the right thing to do, because the value of winning a Super Bowl outweighs the $5 million in sales tax that we would forego," he said." -- Good grief.. yet the mayor supports my having to pay an extra $5.00 a day for a room when my family plans a shopping weekend and we live in Georgia. What this amounts to is debauchery.. No one can/will say sporting event ticket sales will suffer if the tax has to be paid (heck, what people pay in service charges for tickets on line makes sales taxes look petty), and the rest of the Georgia cities/counties will be cheated out of revenues they depend on, while Atlanta benefits from increased food and liquor sales.
---
On above:  Whether the NFL has to collect taxes or not, the ticket proices will be the same regardless.. It's just a matter whether the NFL or Georgians benefit from that "$5 MILLION"
---
Online headline: "John Lewis: I did not intend to ‘disparage’ Bernie Sanders" -- What BS! Lewis has been in the Clinton corner (well, before.. and after NERO-bamageddon).
---
Online headline: "‘I Am Doing God’s Work,’ Says Syrian People Smuggler" -- Yeah.. and I'm sure he's tithing.
---
Doesn't it seem a tad hypocritical that the same people who argue that if they save one child from death by a gun by campaigning for gun confiscation laws, then their efforts are worth it, are the same people who want "abortion on demand"?
---

L-E's "Online Comment of the Day":  “I support these projects as a rule, because when you invest in these kinds of projects you get an automatic decrease in crime, higher revenues for the city, and you attract more businesses and talent. I wish that the city would empower the citizens to get some of the smaller things out of the way first.” — From Scott Berson on “$60M transformation: City Village master plan to bring jobs, housing, retail” -- "an automatic decrease in crime"? Good grief.. where did this guy get his "facts"? I'm not sure " outa thin air" would even support this much BS.. It appears this person is a student at CSU.. ask him whether of not he leaves his dorm door unlocked when away or asleep?

---
MCSD business: "The guaranteed maximum price of $32,041,187 from construction contractor Brasfield Gorrie of Columbus to build the arts academy,"  - We had 127 empty classrooms last year, and Spencer is going to be rebuilt, and now  the Arts Academy buildings  for, what, 500 students, will be built for $32,000,000.00 (about $64,000.00 per student or $1,280,000 fpr a classroom of 20), which will free up probably another room-per-school at the 50-something schools we already have.

---

From above L-E story: "A summer enrichment program at Hannan Academy, to run from May 31 to July 22, funding by registration and weekly participation fees." -- "funded by registration and weekly participation fees"? Does that mean all costs to taxpayers will be covered? Taking bets starting tomorrow.

Monday, February 15, 2016

L-E story: "   A few weeks back we wrote about a drainage ditch that runs alongside Booth Street on the other side of town, off of Floyd Road.  *    Well, I went out there last week and they’d addressed the beejeebers out of the problem. With large rocks and lots of concrete, the city made sure that the erosion wouldn’t return there for 100 years or so." -- Obviously, "Keep Columbus Beautiful" was not called in to help address this problem.. This is worse that putting a band-aid on when major surgery should have been required. Where's Red McDaniel when we need him! Oh, well, guess the saving will make sure the RiverWalk toilets will be better maintained   .. yeah, right!

---

Online headline: "31 romantic photos of the Obamas" - Ewwwwwwwwwwww!  That's worse than a thought as  teenagers thinking about their parents "doing it"...It's almost worse than that shot of the Clintons breaking into a slow dance wearing bathing suits on the beach in "the Hamptons".

---
Today is President's Day... I'm thinking NERO-bamageddon might sit this one out.... Hillary and Bernie, too.. I mean, why would a Democrat president or presidential hopeful step out into the sunlight  and be compare to "Honest Abe" Lincoln, and George "I cannot tell a lie" Washington?

---
The nation will mourn the passing of Justice Scalia. Many will be concerned about who NERO-bamageddon will appoint as his replacement, but I'm not worried as I don't think the Republican Senate will fold. You know..the U.S. Supreme Court is often described as a 5/4 split between conservatives and liberals...but it's really not that way. What we really have is 5 people who will listen to the presentations, weigh them, then apply the Constitutional tenets to their opinions, and 4 people who we already know how they will vote regardless of fact or conditions.

---
Online story: "Presidential candidate and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) lauded Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia after news of the justice's death broke Saturday, but said President Barack Obama should not be the one to appoint his replacement." -- Cruz.. Rubio, too, should be resolute but calm about going after NERO-bamageddon. NERO-bamageddon just nominates a Justice candidate.. the Senate must approve him/her, but the more Cruz or Rubio speak out about this, the likelihood that NERO-bamageddon names a political football becomes more inevitable. It will be someone, or a series of nominees/withdrawals of extremist  selections that Hillary and/or Bernie will use any Republican's  objects as an issue for segments of voters.

---
I hope the Republicans remember to honor Justice Scalia's life and input to our nation. Justice Scalia was his own man, and a treasure to our country. Liberals will be dancing in the streets like Muslims following      9-11-01.

---
Online headline: "Math's link to future locust dispersal" -- Yeah.. I've got a "mathematical" solution, too.. "disperse" every known copy of Common CRAP math books, and let people just swat the Locusts to death!

---
Online story: "A former Obama administration intelligence official says Hillary Clinton should stop campaigning." -- "a former Obama administration intelligence official"? Good grief.. this could be the ultimate oxymoron! The only level above this would be "an honest Obama administration official".

---
Online headline: "Police: Brooklyn teen tries to steal Air Jordans, loses arm in Craigslist robbery gone wrong" -- Hmmm.. how much more appropriate would this be if the robber lost his foot instead?

---
Incredibly misinformed LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Teresa Tomlinson’s record is one of substance and ceremony. Thanks mayor. Carry on. -- "Substance and ceremony"? Maybe fund balance substance "abuse" and Columbus' "funeral" ceremonies...

---
L-E headline: "$60M transformation: City Village master plan to bring jobs, housing, retail" -- Is it just me or do others see the same pattern evolving  as the Peabody and BTW complexes? Aside from relocating Chase Homes (as part of the masterplan of convenience to move low income  homes/families out of the way),   and the GA Power Towers of Doom, how and where do you relocate homeless people from the resources in the area that service their daily needs?

---
I have this to say to Madeleine Albright... "How did Hillary help Monica?"

---
Why is it that Liberals feel the first response to issues is to raise taxes? If the government was efficient, economic and population growth would generate more revenue each year making tax increases unnecessary.

---
Another thing the Homestead exemption is the same amount for $50K home as a $1.Million dollar one..the lower cost home gets the better deduction. That, more than the freeze, is what a number of homes seem to pay "too little"... but that's only in the mind of Mayor TomLYINGson.

---
You would think that there would be a simple tax rate structure for personal homes is Columbus.. but there isn't. A newly purchased home today that cost $50,000.00 will have a homestead exemption tax rate of $743.40. Now, you'd think that if a home bought for 10 times that much would have 10 times more taxes,,say $7,434.00.. but you'd be wrong.. Taxes on a $500,000.00 home with the homestead exemption are going to be $8,177.40... and the homeowner of the $50K home gets the same services as the owner of the $500K home.

---
Roundabout comment of the day: I assume you probably have seen the "drawing" for the proposed River Road/Bradley Park/Green Island Drive/Cascade Road roundabout.. What you do not see is that the drawing is "flat".. two dimensional.. but that's not the truth. From Bradley Park Dive, there is about a 10" elevation change leading into the River Road intersection, and looking West from 5o yards north of that intersection, there is a 6"-8" upward elevation change as well. Can you not see that the elevay=tion changes are going to create some reverse banked turns that will be unsafe for every tractor trailer rig.. especially logging trucks  because their load is top heavy and such turns ceate "load shifts".

---
L-E "headLIE": "SCALIA’S DEATH FLIPS DYNAMICS OF COURT, HURTS CONSERVATIVES" -- Hurts conservatives"? Dang,, it will destroy America, and be the death of liberalism along the way.. Having a conservative Supreme Court is the only safeguard America has at keeping the failed "good intentions" of liberals from eating up all the resources of this great country.

---

L-E headline/story: "Columbus man to be charged with murder in Saturday shooting" * A Columbus man, who was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following a shooting Saturday, will now be charged with murder, according to Columbus police. * Arrested was 42-year-old Reginald G*****. *  Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said 33-year-old Marcus B***** of Columbus was pronounced dead at 5:12 a.m. Sunday at Midtown Medical Center. * police were told the two men have been friends since they were children. *  According to the Muscogee County Jail’s website, Glenn has at least 10 booking mugshots since May 2003." -- With the age differences.. it seems "odd" to call them "friends since they were children", but there's another fact that asks for more questions:: "According to the Muscogee County Jail’s website, Glenn has at least 10 booking mugshots since May 2003."  ... You know.. when one has been arrested and booked at least 10 different time in 13 years,, dealing with that person should have been out of the question..

---
L-E headline.story: "Presidents Day presidential trivia *  " -- Wow..talk about Hillary finding a loophole.. then why doesn't she just confess and save the taxpayers a ton of money? On the other hand.. would you vote for someone who couldn't vote for them selves.. and, of course, she could be arrested for voting for herseld=f as a Senator...

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.. don't forget your cards.. don't forget to boycott Hallmark as well.

Think about this, ladies, how can Hillary claim she will stand up for women when she has not proved she is a well-rounded woman, nor stood for the sanctity of women in marriage?

---
Online story: "Bill Maher said that the world shouldn't cater to the "backwards" culture of Islam as he criticized a move by Rome to cover nude statues to accommodate a visit by the president of Iran.  * The HBO host said there's a difference between tolerance and capitulation.  * "It's one thing to be tolerant of another culture, but this is our culture. ... We shouldn't change our culture to a more backward culture, should we?" * "I'm sorry to say it, but the more you know (about Islam), the more you would be afraid." * He said that liberals need to stand with progressives within the Muslim world and not be so quick to label critics as Islamaphobic." -- Whoa.. there appears to be a bigger crack in dam of Liberalville that's coming to light that we weren't expecting....hmmm.. Trump is right.

---
Online headline: "Employees hit with somber news from company rep * Hundreds of Indiana workers were told this week that their "Carrier" factory jobs would move to Mexico -- and the reaction was caught on tape." -- Hmmm..Trump is right.. again.

---
Online headline: "Obama reveals the 'best decision' he has ever made" -- "Michele"?  Well, compared to the ones he's made since, it does actually make sense..

---
We've all been hearing about Hillary's "$200+K speaking fees" from Wall Street bankers, but other people also get paid speaking fees.. Examples.. Mark Cuban.. as does Dr. Ben Carson.. gets between $50K-$100K for a motivational speech.. Richard Branson commands $100K per.. Mitt Romney reportedly earns up to $70,000 per speech; and Mike Huckabee can make up to $32,000 per speech. Hey Wall Street.. you, too, can do better than Hillary.. and actually get useful info/data..

---
In an interview session , NERO-bamageddon was asked about the 94+ MILLION people who are not included in his work/job related fugures. NERO-bamageddon said there was still fall out from 2007-2008.. Good grief.. still blaming Bush43, and not fulfilling his claims to have the solutions. Hurry 2017!

---
Online story: "A Fargo police officer fatally shot responding to a routine domestic disturbance call. A 25-year police veteran killed while trying to serve a warrant outside Atlanta. These are just the latest tragedies of cops murdered while performing their sworn duty -- "to protect and serve." * But while President Obama and the Democratic candidates vying to succeed him are putting America's police departments on trial in the court of public opinion in response to a rash of deadly police shootings, the murder of police officers on America's streets is being met with a “deafening silence.” * “I cannot recall any time in recent years when six law enforcement professionals have been murdered by gunfire in multiple incidents in a single week,” National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund CEO Craig W. Floyd said in a statement Friday. “Already this year there have been eight officers shot and killed, compared to just one during the same period last year and represents a very troubling trend." -- See what happens when you put a "Progressive" in charge of Public Safety and responsible for the data output.. in fact, we don't have to leave our own community to understand this.. right Mayor TomLYINGson? Now, how about publishing data on all Columbusites who get shot and survive as well is those actually killed.

---
Online story: "U.S. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid on Friday called for U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson to drop out of the race for a Senate seat in Florida, but Grayson angrily denounced the move and said he has no plans to follow Reid's suggestion. * Reid said in a statement that Grayson claims to be progressive but seems to have "no moral compass." -- "no moral compass"? Good grief.. and here I thought "no moral compass" was the prerequisite of being a Democrat candidate...wait a minute.. "no moral compass" IS a prerequisite of being a Democrat!

---
From above stort: ""Grayson's actions aren't just disgraceful to the Democratic Party, they disgrace the halls of Congress," Reid said." -- Wait a minute.. let me check my source.. hmmm.. no, it isn't "The Onion", nor does it appear to be a draft of a proverbial "April Fools' Day" headline.. hmmm.. how can Grayosn be disgraceful to Reid when neither Clinton is?

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "These Graphic Novel Authors Illustrate The Struggle Of Being Gay And In Love In Iran" -- Hmmm.. wonder what they cut off?

---
Online headline: "Russia, U.S. reach deal in Syria War" -- Good grief..what has Kerry given away this time!

---
Online headline: "Clinton, Sanders agree systems in U.S. are broken" -- Good grief..those two have been part of the systems way too long to be part of the solution!

---
Oh.. a fellow BCer pointed out what could be the most undermining theory of the value of a prestigious college education.. Sheila Jackson Lee went to Yale, then U of VA Law.

---
Online story: "Tuition increases at Georgia’s public colleges and universities would be limited to the rate of inflation under legislation introduced Thursday in the state House of Representatives. * A bill sponsored by House Majority Whip Matt Ramsey, R-Peachtree City, also would apply to increases in annual student fees." -- Good grief.. it's like closing the barn door after the cash cow parents have been pushed out! GA tuition has tripled in the last 15 years, but even that is not where the overload has become unbearable .. the mandatory fees should be eliminated and let students (with parental approval if theyare paying the bills) cherry-pick the amenities hat they use, and those outrageous dorm fees.. not to far  back I dissected the extreme rip-off  of dorm rentals compared to free-market apartment rentals. In fact, Colleges should be prohibited from building more since the new law passed in 2014 allowing colleges to sell existing units to outside companies along with their exempt tax status so colleges get their money back to build more dorm units which, in turn, they can sell to those private companies along with the exemptions, and get that money back as well.. It's a vicious and costly process to citizens of a university town.

---
L-E "headLIE": "MUSCOGEE TECHNOLOGY PARK * PATH-TEC HEALTH CARE TO BRING 100 JOBS TO AREA" -- Hmmm .. a little more info in the story "varies" ..  As per the L-E: "It leaves behind its former home on Belfast Avenue in the Bradley Park area for the 126,000-square-foot plant at 5700 Old Brim Road that until last year was operated by Litho-Krome, a printing operation owned by greeting card firm Hallmark.  *   Path-Tec, launched in 2005 by Kevin Boykin, the company’s president and chief executive officer, employs about 100 people and has pledged to double that over the next few years." -- Hmmm.. "pledged to double over the next few years"? Well a "pledge" is not the same, nor enforceable, as creating/increasing actual jobs..
this is a collusive statement by the L-E in an attempt to offset recently announced losses of ACTUAL jobs..

---
It's Black History Month.. I often wonder why Dr. A Seale Harris is never mentioned.. His research into diabetes is still the benchmark used nearly a century later.. Maybe it was his book , "Death of the National Democratic Party ...The Truth About Truman and Big-City-Maxchine-Labor-Socialist Party... A  Scholarly Expose of Gang Politics in Washington" by Seale Harris M.D., LL.D., Alabama's distinguished physician and author who analyzes the dangerous trend in United States politics" that he published (1952) about blacks disassociating with Democrats has left him obscure in the Democratic Party agenda of today.

---
While I'm bringing up Dr, Harris.. you must hear about his father and four brothers whom he dedicated his book:

"Jeffersonian-Jacksonian Democrat; upright, honorable and law-abiding citizens. They enjoyed to the utmost life, liberty, work well done, the pursuit of happiness and the glorious privileges of being indepentent.

Father:
Charles Hooks Harris - 1834-1915 - Confederate surgeon. Captain, Lee's Army of Virginia (1861-1865), cultured gentleman, faithful "horse and buggy" doctor for 50 years.

Brothers:
James Coffee Harris - 1858-1940 - Superintendent Public Schools, Cedattown and Rome, Georgia for 30 years; Superintendent of Georgia School for the Deaf, from 1913-1938, retired at the age of 80.

Peter Charles Harris - 1865-1951 - Graduate US Military Academy.858; Major General, United States Army, The Adjutant General 1918-1922,. More than 100,000 war orphans were college educated on scholarships resulting from legislation which he initiated, sponsored and administrated in Veterans' Administration from 1924 to 1951.

William Julius Harris - 1868-1933 - United States Senator from G, 1919-1933; Director, U.S. Census Bureau, 1915-1918; Member, Federal Trade Commision, 1918-1919; Member, War Industries Board in WW I.

Maxwell Hunter Harris - 1880-1945 - Private (volunteer) in the U.S. Army, Spanish-American W ar. 1898-1899; Major, U.S. Army. Retired because of physical disability in 1918; instructor, Reserved Officers Training Corps.

Now, this family should highlight Black History Month...

---
Now.. from a personal, note, young A. Seale Harris  blessed by my family and was helped in return by my great-grandfather Joseph Albert Kirven. This picture of a young adult Seale Harris is in our treasure of 19th Century pictures:

----------------------------------------------------
Stupid.. may even work in Mayor TomLYINGson's office, LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Tax revenues are up 6.4% in Georgia. So why aren’t they up in Columbus? It’s your tax freeze at work!" -- Good grief.. it's knowing that your taxes AREN'Tgoing up that makes it easier to pull your wallet out of your pocket and spend money. The loss of the economic growth is on the Mayor.. as other parts of GA are doing better.

---

Obviously Common CRAP educated stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Hooray that a federal court has directed North Carolina to redraw its congressional districts. Gerrymandering has been a cancer gnawing away at democracy’s vitality, and this is one small step towards remedying the situation." -- Good grief.. Gerrymandering was devised by Elbridge Gerry, former liberal governor of Massachusetts.. so this is a lib thing done to create pockets of Democrats who cannot be moved out of power..

Online headline: "Chris Matthews: Ted Cruz Is 'Troll-Like,' 'Operates Below the Level of Human Life'  -- Hmmm... Oh.. in reality world, I guess Chris Matthews feels like his leg has been "tinkled on"..

---
Did you see the huge amounts of money spent on political ads in New Hampshire...especially by the career politicians? Did you also note how little Trump spent? What says is Trump doesn't waste his/our resources, and career politicians think wastefully using and throwing other people's at a problem is the only way to solve problems.

---
Online headline/story: "Marco Rubio is starting to go after Donald Trump * "Donald Trump has zero foreign-policy experience," Rubio said during an event in Okatie, South Carolina. "Negotiating a hotel deal in another country is not foreign-policy experience" -- "Negotiating a hotel deal is not foreign-policy experience"? Excuse me? Negotiating anything financial with another country is big experience.. Besides, what foreign-policy experience does a first term Senator with 8 years of previous experience as a state representative  have?

---
Online story: "President Barack Obama's former press secretary said Wednesday that though the president might not make an endorsement in the Democratic presidential primary, he knows exactly who he wants to succeed him. * That candidate is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton." -- What an enigma..deciding whether to believe a former paid liar, even a possibly disgruntled ex-employee, about anything.

---
Online story: "according to an op-ed in The Washington Post, of all the Democratic and Republican candidates, Bernie Sanders is the only one who's giving his interns an hourly wage. *  Interestingly, Sanders reportedly pays them just over $10 an hour as he campaigns for a federal minimum wage of $15 an hour. "The United States government should not be the largest low-wage employer. It should be the best employer in America," Sanders said at a rally in 2015." -- "the United States government should not be the largest low-wage employer..it should be the best employer in America"? First.. let's see Bernie's "figures" about what fed employees make.. secondly, why is it libs feel spreading other people's money around makes them " generous"?

---
It's almost comical to hear Bernie and Hillary talk about lack of a comprehensive immigration reform getting through Congress in the past 5 years...the question neither one will address is, "Why wasn't such a bill passed in 2009-2010 when NERO-bamageddon had super-majorities of Democrats in both the House and Senate?"

---
Hillary says we have to improve race relations by building on honest conversation.. good grief.. how can anyone engage in a honest conversation with NERO-bamageddon and/or  Hillary?

---
And Bernie... Bernie says we have to eliminate tax breaks for billionaires so "we" can create millions of jobs for low income people.  That's not even coherent.. much less feasible.

---
Dealing with the GA DOT's lack of efficiency over road widening projects and roundabouts in Columbus is not just isolated in Columbus. You know, for all those who think a roundabout will end traffic problems, well...I'm sitting here approaching spaghetti junction on I-85 in Atlanta, and not a car/truck is moving on any level of roadway,

---
And another traffic idea of the GA DOT. The Peach Pass through Atlanta is suppose to keep traffic moving for those willing to pay extra...Hold on a sec..I'll finish writing this item as soon as my bride has passed all of the ones parked on I-85's "Peach Pass" lane.

---
New "roundabout" comment of the day: How about those homes on lower Green Island Drive? They use to be able to take a left out of their driveways to go visit friends on Cascade or head north on Green Island Drive. Now they will have to go south..cross River Road to get into the northbound lane, make a 270 degree tour around the "roundabout" , and hope they don't get wiped out by a logging truck.

---
From the L-E story on the Harp - TomLYINGson debate: "Harp said if anything is harming growth, it’s crime. And the city government needs to make that a higher priority than providing amenities. 8 “The first thing that we need to do is to add adequate police services that in the long run will make our community a safe place to live,” Harp said. * Tomlinson responded that Columbus spends more on public safety that any other city in Georgia. * “We pay the highest per capita fee for public safety of any community in the state of Georgia,” Tomlinson said. “We pay $618 per person for public safety. The next highest city is Savannah, at $478 per person. We pay 45 percent of our entire budget goes to public safety.”

2015 Budget $260,000,000.00  times 45% = $117,000,000.00

$117,000,000 divided by $618.00 per person = 189,320

It seems what we have here is inefficiency and turmoil.. How often have we heard our population number being discerned at 200,000 plus while in reality, when Mayor TomLYINGson took office, the US Census for 2010 set us at a level of 189,885 and now we have, by her figures, 555 less people living here now than when she took office.. NO, it's not the tax freeze running people off.. it's poor management, as noted by her dipping into the fund balance for over $63,000,000.00 in her first 5 budget years, so that now our "Fund Balance is under "30 days" which is a critical number when issuing bonds. Based on a 2015 or 2016 Budget of $260,000,000.00, 30 days of savings for City operation is about $21,400,000.00 (about $712,400,000.00 per day) or in "lay terms", Mayor TomLYINGson has drained or Fund Balance/Rainy Day Savings account to about $113.00 per person over 30 days.

---
Now.. too add credence to my moniker for our Mayor, the 2015 budget graph on page 55  shows that our Public Safety expenditures are 39% of our budget,,, yes, Mayor Tom LYINGson does "stretch the truth"... no, that phrase is euphoric.. she LIES!

---
It's probably too late to warn you organized women, but remember men, no Hallmark cards for your Valentines! Instead, send Hallmark a message.

---
L-E story: "U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, will be the keynote speaker at the 31st Annual Black History Breakfast Observance in Columbus." -- Good grief.. The recent Unity Breakfast brought in a preacher from the Church of the Reverend Jeremiah "G** D***" America" Wright, and now Sheilah Jackson Lee, who thinks our US Constitution is 400 years-old (Common CRAP History?) is the keynote speaker for Black History Observance Breakfast. Isn't it time for community event planners to bring in speakers interested in healing our community/country rather than picking at the scars?

---
L-E story: "The Georgia NAACP and Common Cause Georgia filed a lawsuit this week against Secretary of State Brian Kemp, arguing that his office has illegally eliminated people from the state's registered voter list. * According to the letter, people who haven't voted for three years or made other contact with state voting officials, for example by signing a candidate's nominating petition, are sent a postcard asking for address confirmation. * If they do not respond within 30 days, their name is placed on an "inactive" voter list that still allows them to cast a ballot. If the person doesn't vote or otherwise make contact for two more years, the name is removed from the state's voter rolls, the letter said" -- You know what's scariest about this... that a list exists that can fuel voting scams..

Thursday, February 11, 2016

I don't think Jeb Bush has a grasp on electioneering..he spent $36+ Million campaigning.in New Hampshire...over $1,200 per vote he got.

---
After winning New Hampshire's popular vote by a landslide.. Bernie finally learned about inside politics and Socialism.. he got 15 delegates, and Hillary got 9...but... BUT Hillary got 6 appointed "super delegates" that could just vote for their own personal choice of candidates.  How do you like "equalization now", Bernie, Hillary has as many New Hampshire delegates as you do!

---
Good grief...Hillary feels that her devastating humiliation in New Hampshire was because of her ties to NERO-bamageddon....Huh? Guess now she'll claim New Hampshire voters are racist for supporting Bernie..the old white guy..

---
After the analization of the Democratic vote in New Hampshire, Bernie got 55% of the women's vote. Maybe most of the women had a hard time associating with Hillary as a woman..

----
Bernie arranged a meeting with Al Sharlatan before going to South Carolina.. what a meeting that must have been a tax grabber and a tax cheat.. I can only imagine the deal Bernie offered Sharlatan for the black vote.. or vice versa..

---
On the other hand, Hillary met with black groups immediately... rumor has it that she's starting up a new foundation.. "#BlackVotersMatter... until November".

---
Online story: "A disturbingly large portion of the United States’ extensive commuter and freight rail system lacks crucial Positive Train Control technology designed to avert deadly high-speed accidents. Even with the recent extension of Congress’ implementation deadline from Dec. 31, 2015 to the end of 2018, the U.S. rail industry is scrambling to develop and install the safety systems before another crash occurs." -- "lack crucial...technology....to avert high-speed accidents"? and are already three year behind...and Mayor TomLYINGson wants to raise the speed limits..

The New Hampshire Primary stats wee quite revealing . I'm not just talking about who won individually.. I've been looking at the voter numbers for the past 3 primaries.. In 2008, almost 290,000 NH voters cast their ballots in the Democrat primary with Hillary getting 112K to Obama's 104K (others got the rest).. On the other hand. about 240,000 cast ballots for Republicans, with McCain getting about 89K and Romney got about 76K )others got the rest). Then in 2012, with Obama being the incumbent, only 60,000 or so Dems even voted at all. The Republicans got about 248,000 to their primary.. Romney got 97K, and the reat split among a host of also-rans. Now.. in this weeks NH primaries. the Democrats got about 245,000 to their primary.. Bernie got about 151K and Hillary pulled in 95K. On the Republican side, over 284,000 went to the ballot box.. and Trump garnered over 100K, and a RINO won 2nd spot.. The interesting aspect of this primary is that more than 40,000 more voters went to the Republican side than did so in 2012.. and Trump got  more voters to the get off their butts than Romney did.. This is important.. conservatives WANT this in 2016..

Online headline: "Sirhan Sirhan, assassin of Robert Kennedy, denied parole for 15th time" -- Good grief.. he should have been "denied" LIFE , and saved taxpayers nearly 50 years of "maintenance"..

---
Online story: "At least a dozen email accounts handled the “top secret” intelligence that was found on Hillary Clinton’s server and recently deemed too damaging for national security to release, a U.S. government official close to the review told Fox News." -- No Hock, Sherlock!  Hillary's no more efficient in use of technology than she was with the dials on her stove in the kitchen. Heck, we don't even know whether she can even drive a car.

---
L-E headline: "BALLOT CHANGES REMOVE HOMESTEAD INCREASE * “We need the citizens of Columbus to be able to decide on their tax system,” Tomlinson said. “Not just a small group of people who happen to be in positions of authority.” -- "not just a small group of people who happen to be in positions of authority"? Good grief.. the taxpayers have overwhelmingly (4-to-1) rejected removing the tax freeze in the past.. It's Mayor TomLYINGson who is the "small group of people who happen to be in positions of authority"!

---
L-E headlie.story: " The family of the man who was fatally wounded last month during a brawl outside Outlaws Saloon has hired an attorney, and she said Wednesday an independent autopsy that provided “a more thorough analysis” revealed findings different from those the police presented  * Authorities said they were called to the scene around 3 a.m. and found Brown unresponsive and at least 40 potential witnesses." --  You know.. this was happening at 3:00 AM on a Sunday morning. Our parents and grandparents were right.. "nothing good happens after midnight".. Hey Mayor TomLYINGson, if you want something removed, how about "freezing" bars from staying open after midnight.. it will save taxpayers a lot of money and help you balance a budget for a change. And... two little girls might still have their daddy alive.

---
Incredibly stupid racist LIV's L-E "soundiff": " Thank you, Mr. President, for doing all that you have done in the face of opposition. If you were white you would have a holiday." -- If Elizabeth Barrett Browning were alive today and writing poems, she say, "Stupidity, let me count the ways". Too bad this LIV wouldn't be able to have read it..

---
New roundabout comment of the day: Have you looked closely at what vehicle and pedestrian traffic will face trying  to get onto or across River Road from Bradley Park? By not centering the "roundabout ON River Road.. northbound vehicles pretty much have a straight shot heading through it, and westbound Bradley Park traffic, whether a vehicle or pedestrian will be playing "Frogger" to go in any direction.

---
L-E headline/story: "MAYOR, HARP DEBATE ‘THAW THE FREEZE’" *  Harp was asked what effect the freeze has had on growth in Columbus. *  “It’s been good for growth,” Harp said. “People who move here stay here because they like the tax structure that exists in Columbus, Georgia.” * Tomlinson countered that the freeze not only restricts growth, but it also prevents the city from reaping the benefits from what growth the city does see  *  “When we have someone new move to the city, almost the very next day, they begin to pay us less in taxes than the value of the services we’re providing." -- There isn't an ounce of truth in Mayor TomLYINGson's words! Notice she doesn't want to adjust the mill;age rates so that people who have bought when prices were highest would get a break.. I moved back to Columbus in 2003 .. In Harris County, my taxes were 60% less (for the same value home) and I got the same services, less crime and better schools. 12 years later, my former home in Harris County pays a little less that 50% of what I still pay, and Harris County still has the same services, lower crime rates and better school results. Now, Mayor TomLYINGson, I pay better that $5,000.00 annually.. sure it's twice what Harris County asks but I can live with knowing that as long as I stay here, mine will stay the same. I do feel the pain some families.. even supporters of hers, who pay $30,000.00 .. even $76,000.00 in local property taxes.. how are y0u Mayor TomLYINGson going to give better services by unfreezing THEIR taxes? Yep. the "roundabout" at River Road is not the onlt "roundabout" we get from Mayor TomLYINGson,  she intentionally  goes "roundabout" the truth!

---

Speaking of L-E commentary on the "roundabout", some commentator, a Scott Batson (who will not identify his connection wiothnthe GA DOT or whether he's a contractor ( Batson -Cook?), says on the L-E site that "The Federal portion comes from the Highway Trust Fund, not state funds. The trust fund is funded by federal gas taxes and general fund transfers." -- Well, I say, then why is TSPLOST mentioned? On the other hand, if it's federal money, not only has that been rifled from our pockets, we are getting less of our money back than the TSPLOST.. Government programs take an excess of 20% (versus the 15% loss on TSPLOST), so that $1.5 MILLION costs us $1,875,000. instead of $1, 725,000. In addition, there is no going back "for seconds" of fed money so all the overruns, and there will be, will be on the backs of Columbus Citizens.

It was a "Trump" night in New Hampshire.. Donald Trump was the overwhelming choice in the Republican race, and Bernie "TRUMPED/Overtrumped" G.I. JILLary.

---
I haven't been able to find one statistic I'm looking for.. yet.. How did voter turnout compare to 2008/2012?

---
What an unexpected blow  (not that kind) to the Clintons! The "Buy one/get two" couple could not get 4 out of 10 DEMOCRATS to vote for them!

---
NY Daily News headline:

Now. does anyone think... even "feel" that the NY D(_*_)ily News  put this together AFTER the results?
And, has anyone asked what the NY D(_*_)ily News headline would have been if Bernie didn't hand Hillary's head back to her on a platter..

---
You know.. I would have thought G.I. JILLary's race would have been more important to all the NY newspapers...

---
From the "things I learn by accident when browsing" department: Las Vegas has lost it's title rights of being "Sin City".. The number 1 spot has been given to Now Orleans.. In fact, Las Vegas is now ranked #7. More surprising is that Tampa, FL,, yes Tampa is ranked #4.... I guess that's why it's the city of the most lightning strikes in America.

---
Online headline: "Non-Christian wins primary for 1st time in history * Voters made history on Tuesday as they moved one step closer toward making a non-Christian candidate the next U.S. president." -- Hmmm.. this is about Bernie..  but if Hillary had won, "What difference would it make!"

---
Online headline: "Black Lives Matter activist M******** McC***** fatally shoots self in front of Ohio Statehouse" -- Yeah.. that's a great way to prove your point...NOT!

---
Online headline: "BlackLivesMatter activist DeR** McK****8 runs for Baltimore mayor" -- It would be the wake up call Baltimore needs.. to have a cop killing advocate as its Chief Public Safety Officer.

---
There's a list of "The Top 50 NBA Players of All Time"... The Celtics Bill Russell made the Top 10, but should have been in the Top 3 at a minimum, and John Havlicek, another Celtic a lower than deserved # 22, but placing Mr Celtic, Bob Cousy, down at # 38 just made this list bogus..

---
Online story: " FBI Director James Comey said on Tuesday that federal investigators have still been unable to access the phone contents belonging to one of the San Bernardino killers due to encrypted technology. *  Comey and other federal officials have long warned that powerful encryption poses a challenge for law enforcement and national security professionals. * Technology experts and privacy advocates counter that so-called "back door" access provided to authorities would expose data to malicious actors and undermine the overall security of the Internet." -- I like my privacy, but.. I don't have anything on my phone that I would be ashamed for someone to access.. I don't even want an "app" like that.. there's need for an "app" like hat .. even for our own government officials.. in lieu of such.. government and military security would be better served with an app that could neuter a field phone from the home offices. Hey,, back in the 60's Jim Graves' IMF instructions always destroyed the tape player 5 seconds after he heard the mission .. surely that's plausible today.

---
Online story: ":The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday delivered a major blow to President Barack Obama by putting on hold federal regulations to curb carbon dioxide emissions mainly from coal-fired power plants, the centerpiece of his administration's strategy to combat climate change. * The court voted 5-4 along ideological lines to grant a request by 27 states and various companies and business groups to block the administration's Clean Power Plan, which also mandates a shift to renewable energy away from fossil fuels." --  "voted 5-4 along ideological lines"? "ideological? Is that what bloc voting by the 4 we always know before any discussions are made is described as? What it has become is a socialist attempt to legislate from the bench!  The US Supreme Court's job is to determine whether legislation, Executive Orders, or lower court actions are made within the provisions laid out in our Constitution... based on the Constitution.. not anyone's personal feelings/politics.

Soapbox Moment: Monday, a rather poorly advertised forum was called by Columbus Councilor Glenn Davis to talk about the proposed roundabout at River Road/Bradley Park/Green Island Dr.Cascade Rd intersection. My personal opinion is that the GA DOT is not trying to solve the root of the problem efficiently, but is only interested in a grand presence costing  beau coupe bucks.  The L-E was there to "covered" it, but in reality,  more or less, "covered up" the important aspects.. In it's story, the L-E failed to mention any audience questions or opinions.. The L-E story also failed to parse funding for the project.. What the reading audience is left with  is that the costs will be $1.5 MILLION paid faior by the state with TSPLOST funds. Let's start with those TSPLOST revenues.. not only is that OUR money to begin with, our return has been clipped by 15%.. that's right.. for every $1.00 we pay in TSPLOST sales tax, we only get 85-cents of it back.. other counties around us get more than their input. So, instead of the projected costs of $1.5 MILLION, we Columbus tax payers are actually paying  $1,725,000.00 in TSPLOST tax. In addition the City Engineer there said that another $800,000.00 would come out of the City budget.. you know, the one that Mayor TomLYINGson cannot.. well, WILL NOT budget properly as it is?  All total, the real cost on paper is $2,525,000.00 and that's before the first dirt is moved.. Now, can any one name a local project that involving the GA DOT that has been brought in on time and on budget?  Call your Councilors and stop this waste of time. energy and money.

---
Personal matter.. I've known Glenn Davis for almost 40 years.. was a fan of his as a Columbus Astros fan and he even came down to the First Annual Peach Little League Season ending picnic and pitched the finals of our Home Run Derby. I've supported him in all his Council efforts, but recently he has become unresponsive to e-mails asking for information and I'm at a point that I will entertain supporting an opposition candidate for his Council seat. One of the things I have asked for is the information about how many many people were shot during crimes that were not killed.. We know how many died, but just because our Emergency Rooms can prevent many others from dying of bullet wounds, doesn't keep the City taxpayers informed about how dangerous the street really are.. Why doesn't the CPD keep/publish a list  (even just numbers) of how many people, fatal or not, are being shot. Even the L-E feigns it does it does not keep up with it. To give perspective, in 2015 there were 443 people shot and killed on the streets of Chicago..but.. and a very BIG but, there were a total of 2,552 other people actually shot, but not killed on the streets of Chicago. . I think Columbus citizens should know this about Columbus's street danger. I'd even like the number of gun shooting crimes in which no one was killed or wounded..

---
I've got a great idea! Since the 3 teenaged animals who brutality killed 3 family members in their house in the Upatoi area of Columbus did so for some clothes, sneakers and about $600.00 in cash, I think the Stat of Georgia should limit legal fees for them to the same amount.. pay off their lawyers in used clothing, worn sneakers and 10 pieces of silver..

---
Love the fact that there are more registered "independent" voters in New Hampshire than either Democrats or Republicans. It's especially important this year as G.I. JILLary cannot encourage left leaning "independents" to vote in the Republican primary and skew the results. In fact, neither can Bernie, for that matter.

---
You know, the state's share of the proposed roundabout share is $1.5 MILLION. Now..the fallacy of this statement. This is T-SPLOST money. We..Columbus taxpayers, are paying our 1% tax but are only getting 85 percent of the T-SPLOST returned to us. In other words we paid $1,725,000.00 in taxes but are only getting $1,500,000.00 returned to us by the GA DOT.

---
L-E story: " Columbus Council did not hear a planned presentation Tuesday on options to keep the Columbus Aquatic Center open when, after more than five hours of meeting, it became apparent that they no longer had a quorum present. * Originally, only Councilor Pops Barnes was absent. But over the next five hours, different councilors left until only Judy Thomas, Bruce Huff, Glenn Davis and Mike Baker remained. By law, the 10-member council must have at least six members present to conduct any official business, even to adjourn. In the absence of a quorum, Mayor Teresa Tomlinson had to declare the meeting adjourned “by edict and decree.” -- Wait a minute.. the lack of a quorum was only noticed when there were only 4 Councilors left? What was discussed when there were only 5 members left?

---
The Woodruff family has a rich heritage in Columbus.. they may have been here as long as my family, but it's strange that we different aspects of named objects spread all out in Columbus.. There's Woodruff Farm Rd in East Columbus, then there's Woodruff Road connecting Hilton Avenue with Manchester Expressway (what  happened to getting multi-named streets under one name?), and then there's ood=ruff Park located by the Chattahoochee River. Oh, and don't forget the Woodruff  home/historic marker on 2nd Ave. Wonder if newcomers are confused?

---
Incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "   Why do people brag about being “politically incorrect” when all they really are is rude?" -- Excuse me, but it's much ruder to throw the "polictically correct" card into a conversation that might bring a solution to light..

---
Possibly the dumbest LIV's analogy ever offered in a L-E "soundoff": "Wolves, dolphins, lions, whales, flocks, herds, tribes, etc., gather together for the safety and love of each other. Only in the USA do we not care about another’s health or education. Greed is king." -- "Wolves, dolphins, lions, whales, flocks, herds, tribes, etc., gather together for the safety and love of each other."? How about they segregate/band together to ward off including any other species to join in and become part of their societies? They're the DEMOCRATs of nature.

---
From the "how stupid can a LIV be" department - L-E "soundoff": "The reason why Chicago has such a high murder rate with strict gun laws is because there is nothing to prevent criminals from buying a truckload of guns in Georgia and transporting them to Chicago." -- Good grief.. why would anyone travel over 700 miles to get what can be gotten in any state in between... or even locally?

---
Way stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Jesus must be smiling upon Turkey for opening its border to Syrian migrants. He is happy with those hearts that love the unloved migrants." -- Good grief.. why would anyone think Jesus would be happy with what goes on in Muslim countries that kill His followers?

---
L-E headline: "Obama unveils record $4.1T budget" -- Now we know which school of budgeting Mayor TomLYINGson attended as well. Isn't the purpose of a budget to plan distribution of known =revenues that will come in?  Nothing more, nothing less. Not trying to do so is malfeasance in office..

---
The "Letters to the Editor" (http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/opinion/letters-to-the-editor/) in today's Columbus L-E is a worthwhile venture,, a self-proclaimed liberal is complaining about wasteful spending and the need to responsibility among the Council.. Hillary ain;t got a chance! Look for the name "Bragg" and have your spirits lifted.

---

L-E headline: "Family Dollar coming to downtown" -- Well, what this actually highlights is the influx of students in the Downtown area.. Family Dollar must have shopped at the CSU facility and have seen how students limited to their "pre-paid by dad" Cougar Card are overcharged.

Tuesday, February 9, 2016

Online headline: "Colonial Williamsburg criticized for 9/11 image in Super Bowl ad" -- Good grief... liberals whine at history being presented in context, yet fawn over a guy trying to make an amorous move on an animal playmate.. bestiality at best..or the trailer for Brokeback Mountain 2.

---
L-E headline: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT  * Board releases new budget for arts academy  * Groundbreaking date also set for $36 million project" -- Good grief.. another "Wag the Dog" distraction.. The MCSD cannot get what we have moving in the right direction, so it throws in something new to distract attention away from the problems.

---
Just another way existing MCSB  members can campaign  to get themselves re-elected... the old "look at what I've doing for you" versus look at what I haven't gotten back on track" for your children.

---
From the "sign of the times" department: Look at this picture... there's no mention as to when or where it was shot, and both English and Aramaic versions are professionally made, and holders probably do not know what the English versions say. Wouldn't surprise me that the signs were provided by either ISIS or NERO-bamageddon.

---
L-E story: " City officials unveiled the design of the $1.5 million roundabout they plan to install at the intersection of River Road, Bradley Park Drive, Green Island Drive and Cascade Road." -- "$1.5 Million"? Plus another $800,000.00 local tax dollars was also mentioned... and if you take note at any other GA DOT project in the area, none are being finished in a reasonable amount of time, and none on the original budget assigned.

---
From above L-E story: " Roundabouts are simple, traffic calming and controlling structures that require drivers to yield to traffic to the left that is already in the intersection. After entering the roundabout, the driver then has the right of way and simply drives counter-clockwise until he or she comes to the desired exit. They have been effective and popular in Europe for decades but are just recently finding favor in Georgia." -- Good grief... The European Union has about half as many cars/trucks per person as the US, and most of those are Minis, Fiats and other miniscule copies of what Americans believe a car looks like.

http://www.acea.be/statistics/tag/category/passenger-car-fleet-per-capita

---
Roundabouts are just the current "toy" of the GA DOT.. some politician, probably with an in-law in the road building business,  figured out it was a good way to spend lots of money whether a long term solution was found or not..

---
There are simple, less expensive solutions, but those will not be considered as they aren't  "dramatic" enough or as expensive to interest the political aspect of the GA DOT. Widening River Road north of the intersection up to the Jordan Office Park so a through lane AND a left turn lane are available at Bradley Park so the morning back up caused by School Buses stopping along River Road and the egress to Brookstone School is one. Another would be to redirect all thru-trucks, particularly the logging trucks onto either I-185, J,R Allen, or Veterans Parkway.

---
The one thing that escapes scrutiny when this roundabout is "presented on paper (2-dimension)  is the elevation changes that effect turns of River Road.. There is a 10-foot elevation change from Bradley Park Dr, and a 6-8-foot elevation higher than River Road..those curves will be extreme for tractor-trailer trucks and loads are going to shift dangerously.

---
Online story: "Recently recaptured drug kingpin Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán is willing to plead guilty to drug-trafficking charges filed against him in the US — under one condition. He doesn't want to go to a "high-security prison," José Refugio Rodríguez, one of Guzmán's lawyers, told Univision last week.  *  The request seems to refer to the conditions at the federal ADX prison, known as the supermax or the "Alcatraz of the Rockies," -- Good grief.. what' El Chapo got up his sleeve.. get wherever he's assigned to be renamed Gitmo West so NERO-bamageddon might release him?

---
Online headline: "Bloomberg makes remark that may change 2016 race * The former New York City mayor spoke out about a possible third-party run on Monday after a report revealed he was considering entering the fray." -- Then the Republicans have to nominate Trump...first it would be an economic godsend for the advertising industry as billionaires duke it out, secondly, it would make G.I. Jillary's presence immaterial. and thirdly, Trump will win.

---
Online headline: "US defense intelligence chief predicts increased ISIS attacks" -- Doh! It's all you can  expect when your boss is letting jihadist leaders out faster than you can catch others.

---
From the "sign of the times" department: Look at this picture... there's no mention as to when or where it was shot, and both English and Aramaic versions are professionally made, and holders probably do not know what the English versions say. Wouldn't surprise me that the signs were provided by either ISIS or NERO-bamageddon.

-----------------------------------------
Online headline: "California issues 650,000 driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants in 2015" -- The only thing "good" about this is that hey do not qualify for boarding a plane because the FAA now requires more driver's license security than CA has put into them. Of course, any offocial driver's license can be used to acquire another one in another state, and with "motor-voter" laws, probably get registered to vote.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Even Black Kids In Kindergarten May Face Racial Bias" -- Yeah.. liberals reminding them that they are black and don't have a chance to improve their "lot in life" without becoming part of the entitlement system. My almost 4 year-old granddaughter loves all her classmates regardless of anything.
We are not going to change that, but we have no control over other parents/grandparents/school personnel/
My guess is that the problem is isolated in government run programs.

---
Remember when NERO-bamageddon spoke on the Georgetown campus that he had Christian symbols in the background architecture covered? Did you see any Muslim symbols covered in the mosque he spoke at?

---
Cruz may be toast..blaming CNN, and apologizing to Ben Carson will make him the post convention target of Democratic PACs and mainstream media for Cruz wanting to handicap "the black candidate".

---
What would have happened if Madeleine Abright had said "black women who don't vote for Hillary versus Obama would have a special place in hell" back in 2008?

---
What the heck is Fox doing? Setting up it's "News Room" in New Hampshire, versus the normalcy of it's studio is following the story a little to closely for objectivity. And bringing in John Sununu as a
political commentator because he's a former NH Governor, but was an appointee of previous BUsh administrations and currently a Jeb advisor. His take on things was obviously a very close mindedly perspective for Bush.

---
You know , when Jeb Bush goes after Trump by quoting Lindsey Graham, then it's quite obvious that Bush is the loser.

---
My latest e-mail from the G.I. JILLary camp: "In January, Bernie outraised Hillary's campaign by $5 million (in one month!). Last week, they said they raised $3 million in a day!" -- Good grief... you'd think her campaign manager and the DNC would recognize that even Democrats no longer consider JILLary "the smartest woman in the world".

---
Stupid is as stupid does LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Donald says he thinks wages are already too high. Still think he’ll make America great again? -- Good grief.. Trump was talking about CEO pay at many companies.

----
An "open your mouth and prove beyond all doubt" that this is a stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "A sucker is born every minute. Tragically, many of them believed the gun lobby myth that a gun in the house makes your family safer." -- Hey,, let's put signs in the yards of all who are proud they don't have a gun in their house.. so criminals would know which homes were the easiest targets..

---
L-E headline: "Police say 3 were killed over clothes, video games, $600 cash" -- Tell you what. when lawyers and the criminals' families start trying to tell us how valuable these cretins' lives are, remind them that their clients/children thought 3 other people's lives were worth only "clothes, video games, $600 cash"!

---
L-E headline: "Super Bowl gets 111.9 million viewers, down from last year" -- Well.. that's why the NFL called it "Super Bowl 50: instead of Super Bowl L" .. they already knew it was going to be the "Loser Bowl". And this year's "Loser Bowl ads" will make sure next year's viewing will be down as well.

---

Did you hear Budweiser deny that it paid Peyton Manning to mention Budweiser was the beer he was going to drink as soon as he could get his hands on some? Yeah. right... wonder if Coors has canceled all it's season tickets for next season?
