From the "it can only be logical in the illogical mind of a liberal" department - Online story: "The families of 16 victims of the December 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School have agreed to split $1.5 million to settle two lawsuits against the estate of Nancy Lanza, according to court documents filed Monday. The Wall Street Journalreports that the agreement still has to be approved by a judge, but the families have agreed to divide the money equally, with each receiving $93,750 from Lanza's homeowners insurance policy." -- "lawsuits against the estate of Nancy Lanza"? Does this mean I can drop my car insurance and if I have an off-premise accident, my homeowners insurance will cover it? Does this mean that if one of my adult children commits a crime or hurts someone across town, then the victims can sue my insurance company? Save us Lord.

HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "The successor to the Hubble telescope will launch in 2018 and it's tasked with looking for the first stars that formed our universe." -- "first stars that FORMED our universe"? So stars "formed" our universe? Good grief...we're funding idiocy...

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Boston Mayor Marty Walsh Seeks Ban On Chewing Tobacco, Snuff From Sports Venues" -- He might as well try to ban spitting and scratching , and shelled peanut and sunflower seed vendors in Fenway Park.

---
Online headline: " FBI investigating security of Hillary's email server" -- Well, that should be easy... there was no security on Hillewinsky's home computer.

---
It's a good thing Sarah Palin is not a candidate this time around... if she was and used her
lipstick on a pig" analogy, Hillewinsky and Debbie Wasserman Schultz would both be clling her "mean spirited".

You know, Planned Parenthood and the Democratic members of the Senate have backed themselves into a dark alley...how can they claim a fetus isn't a life, yet parts of a fetus make life possible for another baby?

---
Online story: "A Planned Parenthood executive admits in an undercover video that her doctors alter abortion procedures and she manipulates prices to accommodate specific fetal tissue harvesting requests -- including delivering fully intact fetuses -- though doing so may violate federal law." -- First... "may violate federal law"? Gimmee a break.. laws of humaneness precede federal law and should be the determining factor. Secondly,, "manipulates prices to accommodate specific fetal tissue harvesting requests"? Come on, now.. this pretty much states that Planned Parenthood is more interested in the money than any interest in a woman's life!

It's sad I report the death of Morton A. Harris...Tax Attorney. If you remember, I often made reference to lawyers who made us remember that they were part of the 99% which ruined the reputations of the other 1%...well, Mort Harris was the head of the class of the 1%. He was.. is... a true community treasure.

Online story: "Columbus ranked as the most sexually diseased city in Georgia, ranking 40th nationally, according to rentapplication.com, citing 2013 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. * The study reflected reports of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia * Albany was second in Georgia and No. 51 nationally, according to a release. Macon was third in the state and No. 54 nationally" -- And what do these three cities have in common.. Democrat mayors and Congressman Bishop. Hmmm.. Sanford Bishop's Congressional District has the Top 3 Sexually Diseased cities in GA... and probably the most sexually diseased Congressional District in the country... guess too many District students are doing to much Sex Ed "homework" without anyone going over it for mistakes.

Soapbox moment:

The cost of a college education isn't so bad..just paid my other daughter's CSU tuition, and the tuition fees mounted to about $1,600.00 but... BUT there were also $900.00 worth of non-debatable "fees" we had to pay:

1 - $67.00 for an "activity fee".. isn't school the activity, and shouldn't it be included in tuition?

2- $200.00 for athletic fee..if this was for football games and such, it would be "OK", but she won't attend a single athletic event, and we have to pay this because CSU wants to give scholarships to other parents' children.

3- $30.00 Campus Access fee. Pray tell what does an access fee cover.. it's a public facility and anyone can access it.

4- $47.00 Parking Deck fee - Good grief, our City would be rolling in dough if everybody who lived and worked in Columbus had to pay a $141.00 (on an annual basis) to park. The City could get $28+ Million on Columbus residents alone! Don't let Mayor TomLYINGson see this!

5- $43.00 Health fee.. good grief, she's got insurance, and probably has no idea where a CSU clinic is located.

6- $170.00 Student Rec Center Fee - Good grief.. she works, goes to school and already pays "Campus Access", "Parking", and "Activity" fee.. so what else does she need to pay for?

7- $79.00 Technology fee.. that's an additional fee of $237.00 annually, and CSU furnishes her zero electronic devices.

8- $265.00 "Institutional Fee".. more like a "stick it to parents" fee that has no restrictions on how the school uses it. Even it's legality is clouded as it can only be invoked if the state cuts back on its contributions, and I can't find anyone who can show that's the situation.

9- $14.00 International ED Supplement fee.. I haven't been able to locate anything that gives the College a reason to charge this other than as another "stick it to the parents" fee.

That's $914.00 in mandatory fees.. like I said.. the tuition fees are somewhat reasonable, but the other fees are a ripoff!

From the "biased... us biased?" department - HuffPOOPOO headline: "Cop who killed Michael Brown speaks a year later * Ex-cop Darren Wilson gave his first interview one year after killing the unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Mo., which sparked mass protests." -- 12 months after Wilson was cleared of charges, the mainscream media still is trying to paint Michael Brown as an eighteen year old choir boy who was killed walking an old lady across a busy street. Brown was a 6'4" , nearly 300 pound MAN with a temper and no respect for the law or law officers.

What's with Chris Christie's assault on Social Security? For the most part, what's in the "lockbox" is already our money. Unfortunately, we do not get a good return on our personal investments, but regardless , its still already "OUR" money. and Congress has no right to it or change the rules in effect when we were forced to "join" it.

Yesterday, I made the following observation:

"HuffPOOPOO story: "a poll taken in late July by NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Telemundo indicates Seventy-five percent of the 250 Latino respondents said they think poorly of the candidate, and 61 percent qualified their feelings of Trump as being 'very negative" --
Hmmm... only 75% of a 250 person poll selected by NBC feel poorly about Trump. Truth is that 75% of any ethnic group picked by NBC would "feel" that way about ANY Republican."

Truth is if NBC handpicked a polling audience's ethnicity and only 75% were against a Republican, that's an improvement over the last election year's actual results, so things really are looking up.

Jonathan Gruber personal L-E "soundoff": Attorney General Reno threatened to sue banks in 1998 for not lending qualified black home buyers money to buy homes. The 2008 housing collapse was because of failed Republican economic policies, gutted regulations and greed." -- I've got to stop setting the bar for the stupidity Democrats.. as soon as I think it can go no higher, I am disappointed by an even stupider comment by a liberal.... The collapse of the housing market was created by Carter in 1979,, filled with steroids by the 1993 Dodd-Frank-Clinton bill, and Reno added the "cherry-on-top" in 1998 and the market collapsed in spite of Bush43's warnings that this needed immediate correction. Now, we are looking at the beginning of another collapse under Obamageddon's "pen and phone" despotism.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn’t thinking.” — Gen. George S. Patton (1885-1945)." -- Hmmm.. must explain the Democrat Party political strategy. Only one candidate and one plan, while the Republican Party has many candidates with new ideas.
---
L-E headline/story: "TEXAS JAIL DEATH * Bland's family sues state trooper, wants answers * The family of a black woman found dead in a Texas jail three days after a confrontation with a white state trooper filed a wrongful-death lawsuit Tuesday against the officer and other officials, saying it was a last resort after being unable to get enough information about the case" -- "wants answers"? NOT! What they want is money.. pure and simple..
---
L-E story: " It’s unclear why after a widespread warning of impending severe weather a circus put on its planned show in a tent that ended up collapsing in a storm, killing a spectator and his 8-year-old daughter, the state fire marshal said Tuesday. * Fire Marshal Bill Degnan said it’s the responsibility of the circus operator to monitor the weather. The show began seven minutes after the National Weather Service issued a severe-thunderstorm warning. The storm blew through about 15 minutes after that, with about 100 people inside the tent." -- Good grief! The circus was suppose to dismantle its tents in the 15 minutes from an immediate storm warning from a weather service that is rarely right on its predictions? Get real.. there's no way to take a large tent down in that amount of time; in fact, I don't believe the audience would have cleared the tent in those 15 minutes. The circus should sue the National Weather Service for not making a decision hours earlier.. yeah.. this is absurd as well.
---
L-E commentary headline: "Joe Biden could breathe new life into Dems’ race" -- Heh heh heh.. no way.. Planned Parenthood will abort it and try to sell parts.
---
L-E story: "The Florida House announced Tuesday that state lawmakers and lawyers for former House Speaker Ray Sansom have reached an agreement to pay $600,000 in taxpayer money to cover legal fees in his defense against corruption charges. * After the charges were dropped, Sansom sued to have the state pay his legal fees, something that is allowed under Florida law for public officials found innocent of corruption." -- "allowed under Florida law for public officials found innocent of corruption"? Good grief.. there's a huge difference in dropping charges and being innocent, just as there's a huge difference in being found "not guilty" by reasonable doubt/hung jury, and actually being innocent of those charges. Just remeber, Bill Clinton wasn't convicted by the Senate because Democrats would not vote for convicting one of their own (on the other hand, Republicans probably wouldn't either), but is there anyone who actually thinks of feels Clinton was innocent of the impeachment charges?
