Online headline: "Rosie O'Donnell's daughter leaves home again * Rosie's
daughter, Chelsea, 18, left home again on Monday and reportedly has no plans to
return to the talk show host's abode." -- Hmmm...Trump was right... again!
---
Online headline: "Judge: 'Get the defendant out of my courtroom' * The
gallery applauded Judge Carlos A. Samour as he ordered James Holmes out of the
courtroom after sentencing him to life in prison on Wednesday. * He 'does not
deserve any sympathy'" -- "does not deserve any sympathy"? Hell, he doesn't
deserve to still be breathing!
---
You know.. I think what the Number 1 issue in addressing issues of racism
in our country is that mainscream media, the Democratic Party, and the black
"leadership" makes every issue about racism.. My grandfather and father were
pretty wise when they advised me to "pick your battles wisely". Make sure the
issue is one that affects more than your personal thoughts/beliefs.

Online headline/story: "City with the worst gridlock in the country is ...*
The average commuter in one part of the U.S. wastes 82 hours a year stuck in
traffic, nearly two times the national average, a new report said.
Tim Lomax, a report co-author, said Washington, D.C., has the worst
gridlock in the country, with commuters wasting 82 hours a year stuck in
traffic, nearly twice the national average." -- Good grief.. who'da thunk it..
imagine "gridlock" in Washington, DC.

Online headline/story: "Consumers are upset over Country Crock’s
'revolting' new recipe * In a press release from Aug. 3, Mike Faherty, General
Manager of Baking, Cooking & Spreads at Unilever, the company that makes the
spread, said the move was a response to consumers “who are asking more from
today's food brands to deliver great tasting products that they can trust and
are made with fewer, simpler ingredients. * After the new product appeared in
stores, Country Crock’s official website and Facebook page has been flooded with
negative product reviews. From poor product consistency, to horrible taste *
Country Crock lovers say the “healthier” product has seriously missed the mark
on taste." -- Hmmm.. may I suggest a new name to go along with the "new"
product... "Whatta CROCK!"

Saw a story about McDonald's that caught my attention.. did you know that
70% of McDonald's business is from the drive-through windows? Seems to me that
this is to much for a business that wants growth and are remodeling the insides.
Maybe they should just add drive through capability to the lobbies as
well.
---
Online headline: "Jorge Ramos, host of the Fusion Network show America with
Jorge Ramos, disclosed Friday that his daughter Paola has signed up as an
employee of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. * Fusion is an
American multi-platform media company that is a joint venture between the
Disney-ABC Television Group subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company and Univision
Communications, and relies in part on the resources of their respective news
divisions, ABC News and Noticias Univision." -- Hmmm, the FEC should be
monitored to see if ABC is monitoring its affiliates/networks for equal time
allotments for all candidates.
---
From the "conformation of opinion expressed above" department - Online
headline/story: "Univision anchor: Trump fight is 'personal' * Univision anchor
Jorge Ramos said on Wednesday that he is offended by GOP presidential candidate
Donald Trump’s rhetoric concerning immigration." -- Hey, FEC.. there IS a
conspiracy in the ABC stable!
---
Online headline/story: "Army awards tactical vehicle contract to Wisconsin
firm * The $6.7 billion contract is expected to support thousands of jobs. *
union workers at Oshkosh in 2013 agreed to a contract extension so that the
company could nail down its labor costs for the project." -- Hmmm.. I'm
including a link to the story because "something 'big' is missing".. the story
mentions Wisconsin, it mentions unions, it even mentions the company CEO's
name.. oddly, it avoids any mention of the Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker.
Somehow, I do think he's an important piece of the puzzle that had to be put
together to land such a contract.
---
Online story: "Federal investigators say in a new report that officials
with the solar company Solyndra misrepresented facts and omitted key information
in its effort to get a $535 million loan guarantee before filing for bankruptcy
protection nearly four years ago." -- "Solyndra misrepresented facts and omitted
key information "? DOH!..., who'da figured? Though what else was needed to
secure that loan from Obamageddon other than a big campaign donation...?
---
Online story: "The White House is declaring Wednesday Women’s Equality Day
to mark 95 years since women won the right to vote under the 19th Amendment." --
"95 years since women won the right to vote"? Sorta an odd time to be
"celebrating" since in 5 years, it will be the 100TH Anniversary of such...
guess the Democrats want to get in "their support" now since Porkchop HILL is
running, and there's the possibility that when the 100th Anniversary comes
along, she won't be the president, and it'll be because the women's vote didn't
support her.

Hmmm..thinking about that young woman in a coma in Cuba...don't liberals
contend that Cuba, with its single payer insurance for all, have better medical
care than the US?
---
Unbelievable...the fiance of the young woman reporter killed during a live
TV broadcast is a anchor of that station. He sent out "Twitter Tweets" shortly
after learning about the shooting.. I sympathize with his loss but is he a big
twit or what? PS - this question is a trick one.. it has only one
answer...
---
Why was the (_*_) who shot himself after killing those 2 TV people given
resuscitation measures? Why didn't the police officers just let nature take its
course? The (_*_) had elected to shoot other people as well as himself..nobody
was there to save the 2 TV folks..don't put the nation through the " motive
crap", or paint the (_*_) as a victim..( even though he is a victim of
liberalism in that he never took personal responsibility for him being the (_*
_) he became). Fortunately, efforts to save the (_*_) failed, and we won't be
subjected to a mainscream media circus trial.

Online story: 'Colorado lawmakers are taking per diem on weekends and
holidays — days mileage reimbursements often show they’re at home — and the
practice is costing taxpayers as much as $400,000 a year, Watchdog.org found."
-- Hmmm. let's hope and pray that Watcgdog.ORG looks into the other 49 states as
well.
---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "In 1928, the Kellogg-Briand
Pact was signed in Paris, outlawing war and providing for the peaceful
settlement of disputes." -- Liberals just feel if you address something and walk
away with a signed document from an evil leader, you have solved it..Calvin
Coolidge felt this way in 1928, and Obamageddon feels this way after giving Iran
a straight path to a nuclear weapon. Whoa.. don't be claiming Coolidge was a
Republican.. he was a Vermont lawyer who worked his way through Massachusetts
politics to become its governor..Maybe Massachusetts would have benefited for
voter photo-ID for candidates.
---
L-E story: " A man described as the mastermind of the 1996 Khobar Towers
bombing that killed 19 American servicemen in Saudi Arabia has been captured, a
U.S. and a Saudi official said Wednesday, ending a nearly two-decademanhunt for
one of the FBI’s most-wanted terrorists. * The 48-year-old suspect was
described by the FBI in 2001 as the head of the armed wing of the once-active
but shadowy Saudi Hezbollah group. * The U.S. indictment said that elements of
the Iranian government inspired, supported and supervised members of the Saudi
Hezbollah group in the Khobar Towers attack, but it stopped short of naming any
Iranian officials. * The security official said Saudi intelligence believes
that four others wanted in the bombing are living in Iran." -- Please don't send
Kerry to bring the (_*_) back or to prosecute him!
---
L-E story: "The transmission of now-classified information across Hillary
Rodham Clinton’s private email is consistent with a State Department culture in
which diplomats routinely sent secret material on unsecured email during the
past two administrations, according to documents reviewed by The Associated
Press. * Clinton’s use of a home server makes her case unique and has become an
issue in her front-running campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.
But it’s not clear whether the security breach would have been any less had she
used department email. The department only systematically checks email for
sensitive or classified material in response to a public records request." --
Good grief.. mainscream media is now trying to pooh-pooh Porkchop HILL's treason
since some precedence may... MAY .. have been set, and it's BUSH's Fault!
---
L-E story: " While the U.S. composite score on the ACT remained the same
from last year to this year, six of the nine Muscogee County public schools, as
well as Chattahoochee County High, improved their result along with Georgia’s
average, which matched the national number." -- To begin with, why are any
schools from other counties mixed in with a report that should focus on Muscogee
County? Secondly, why is the L-E trying to "fluff up" the numbers ? In reality,
theses are the 2014 vs 2015 comparison numbers:
Remember 18 on the ACT's is the median/mimimum number for "success"
--
School 2014 2015
Columbus 24.8 25.6
Northside 19.3 20.1
Hardaway 18.0 18.0
Early College 16.8 18.2
Shaw 17.4 18.0
Carver 16.0 16.8
Jordan 16.2 16.8
Spencer 16.4 16.2
Kendrick 16.2 15.7
Georgia 20.8 21.0
National 21.0 21.0
Theses are the facts that L-E writer/MCSD brown noser, Mark Price glosses
over.. Does Price think he's "helping" any student by ignoring the truth.. the
facts? The current reporting by the L-E is even worse than when the chair of
the MCSB was the wife of a L-E staffer!
---
L-E headline: "Hungary’s border fence proves futile in slowing migrant
flow" -- Hmmm... looks like Trump could get a job as president of Hungary if
things don't work out here in 2016, but poor Obamageddon.. Hungary would not
give him that same job under any circumstance!
---
L-E story: " The Whitewater Avenue Streetscape project, which has left
Third Avenue closed since July 6, is expected to take approximately 11 months,
according to a bulletin that was mailed to Phenix City residents." -- Once
again, Phenix City is one-upping Columbus' Mayor TomLYINGson.. naming a street
"Whitewater Avenue" is brilliant, and PC gets to capitalize on its "drop in the bucket" contribution to the project. PC has scooped TomLYINGson before when it put in it's Whitewater landing station, landed the new Courtyard Marriott with the only riverfront hotel in the area, and got WC Bradley to cross over and develop the retail strip off 13th Street.

L-E story: " This probably isn’t what the United Nations had in mind when
it established the International Day of Peace: Burger King said it’s calling for
a truce with McDonald’s so that they can create a mashup of their most famous
burgers — the Big Mac and the Whopper. Burger King says it wants to serve the
concoction for a single day at a popup location in Atlanta, a midway point
between the headquarters of the two chains." -- Hmmm .. why not cut McDonald's
out of it and just call it the "Obamageddon"? Make it a meal deal with sides of
Pelosi and Reid..
