From the "pathetic journalism practices" department: Following a posting on an L-E story on FaceBook, i had questions.. the posting said the Mark Rice's (the L-E's designated reporter for what goes on in the MCSD and MCSB meetings) wife worked for the MCSDD.. I had never seen Mark Rice make this admission in his byline or as a footnote.. I often wondered why I saw such one-sided aspects in Rice's writings but now that I've discovered the truth, I am bringing it to light.

I looked on the salary access site of the L-E for MCSD employees ( http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news/databases/article39336348.html ) and find  Ronnet E. Rice, $21,878.40 , ES Secretary. She's listed on the Muscogee County tax database as a co-owner of a home with Mark Rice.


For $21,878.40, I'd say Lewis has a cheap insurance policy on "favorable writings" by her husband, Mark Rice.

In theses cases, if the jury finds the charged guilty, then the lawyer should have to pay all court costs, and return any any fees paid from tax dollars.

SPLIT (though haven't seen "per city" amounts).. between Columbus and Phenix City.. there's been an "investment by some public donations and mostly GA and Columbus tax dollars of $25,000.000.00 to build this arena. That means the total Return On Investment for the two cities is .007 percent.. Ask your retirement advisor how long that percent of return would it take to make your nest egg investment to pay off for you.
