Talk about public service political bias and descrimination! NYC's Police Commissioner William Bratton is resigning/retiring soon. Recently, he denied Trump an opportunity to address the NYPD officers following the killing of 5 police officers in Dallas. Now, upon his retirement, Bratton is taking over a security department with a Clinton connected company.

Looks like Princeton is going the PC way even more than Harvard..Harvard will allow women's clubs to exclude men under certain circumstances, but men's clubs do not get the same options. Nos Princeton is "de-manning" descriptive words..no more " FreshMEN", now all first year students will be referred to as "First Year Students"...etc, etc, etc. Now isn't it really a slur, a bully situation, a classest act to put down a person's worth by referring to them as lowly "First Year Students"?

Watched the medal presentation for the women's 4 X 100 relay team show Saturday night after they won on Friday,, Only one of the 4 women saluted our flag as it was hoisted during the playing of our National Anthem. Has anyone seen any of our non-black athletes snub the flag during the Olympic games/presentations? . It is disgraceful.. it's even worse than ZERO-bama's "Apology Tour"... or him getting the Nobel Peace Prize..In the future, our Olympic Committee should screen out all athletes who won't agree to respecting our flag.. and protocol.. These are ambassadors representing all Americans, I am tired of such behavior.

Deonn Carter.. a gentle man of 31.. autistic .. was unexplainably shot about 2 weeks ago retrieving the mail..passed Saturday.. I did not know him , but had observed his joyful and gentle ways when shopping at the River Road Piggly Wiggly on occasion. There's a special place in Hell for his murderer(s).

It's nice to see an opinion of the MCSB situation that hasn't been tempered by a writer who's wife works for the MCSD. L-E school beat writer Mark Rice, on the other hand, has denied reporting of the bullying atmosphere that his wife works in as a school secretary. It's also a shame that local businesses have supported the continuance of board members that have failed .. even elongated the period of failure .. of most of our schools.

Local high school football kicks off full speed this weekend.. My alma
mater faces Jordan at Kinnett Stadium on Friday night.. I'm interested in seeing
the new look since I haven't been to a game since the new artificial turf was
installed.. I am concerned, tough, that it seems the turf used is similar (if
not the same) to the turf at the Hall of Fame game arena which got canceled
because deterioration made the surface unsafe for play. Anyone know if this is
the same material?
