Online story: "Jesse Morton, the Pennsylvania man who was once a recruiter for al-Qaeda, has taken a job at the George Washington University's Center for Cyber and Homeland Security, reports CNN.According to the New York Times, when he was active with the terrorist group, one of his main means of identifying and cultivating members was his website, Revolution Muslim.Morton also used the platform to provide instructions on how to carry out acts of violence against the U.S. and, sometimes, specific individuals. In 2012, he landed in jail for making threats against the South Park creators, who depicted the Prophet Muhammad in a bear costume.According to him, he abandoned his extremist ideologies while in prison" -- "he abandoned his extremist ideologies while in prison"? ..Yeah... Right! Gosh, then we ought to send all felons convicted of violent crimes to his former prison, because it doesn't seem that any of the others have had any success in curbing recidivism among violent prisoners. Maybe Dwayne Wade's family can sue the judge who sent the Sorrell brothers to a different prison other than the one Morton was sent. Hurry November.. We need TRUMP now!

Online headline/story: "White House: Obama shortens prison sentences of 111 convicts * For some of the convicts, the commutations mean they will serve only half of their original prison sentences. For instance, Sly Stallone Aikens of South Carolina, serving a sentence of 360 months for using and carrying a gun during a drug trafficking crime, will now serve only 180 months." -- "carrying a gun during a drug trafficking crime"? Obviously this felon wasn't picked up for trying to make a purchase a recreational amount on a street corner. I hope the Pardons and Parole Board assigns Aikens to be ZERO-bama's personal body guard when he's released.

You know, I wonder if Dwayne Wade was consulted about how he feels about felons with gun convictions being released early from their sentences...

From the "facts you run across looking up other stuff" department - Online story: "2. Chicago Police Department – The Chicago PD is not only the second largest local law enforcement agency in the country but it is also one of the oldest, dating back to 1837. It was officially recognized and established in 1855. The Chicago PD consists of more than 12,000 sworn officers and nearly 2,000 administrative and executive employees." -- FY!, NYC is the largest, and LA is third, but what's amazing is with 12,000 gun carrying police officers on the streets, only 6 out of 2883 people/thugs shot on the streets so far this year have been shot/killed by a police officer. Chicago doesn't need more laws, it needs more law abiding citizens!

Online story: "With less than a month to go before the first presidential debate Hillary Clinton's team is plotting ways to get under Donald Trump's skin, hoping to goad him into making a fatal mistake in front of his biggest audience yet." -- Hmmm.. guess they given up on her record of successful things she's accomplished, and on whether any new voters would believe Hellary about her plans for the future.

---
Online headline: "Anthony Weiner Reportedly Warned His Wife Huma That Raunchy Photos Were About to Be Leaked" -- Hmmm.. guess he was trying to spice up their bedroom life...

Online story: "On Tuesday, the Democratic Coalition Against Trump unearthed remarks Kellyanne Conway, Donald Trump's new campaign manager, made in January 2013 suggesting that rape is women's fault. If they weren't so weak, Conway suggested, they'd be able to fight off their attackers." -- Hmmm.. now this is important to Democrats.. of course, it was, and is,OK with the Democratic Coalition against Trump that Hellary has actually belittled raped women for 40 plus years.

Those Mercedes ads,, you know the one's that end with .. "The best....or nothing at all".. well, in the latest quality report for 2015 cars, 13 other cars brands were ranked for better owner satisfaction than Mercedes.. talk about shooting oneself in the foot...

One mainscream media poll says Catholics support Clinton over Trump.. how embarrassing for Catholics..demand a recount.

Online headline: "Nearly 44,000 retail workers have been laid off in 2016" -- Hmm... what's economically encouraging about this..Vote Trump!

Online story: "The Associated Press projected the win for Wasserman Schultz shortly after polls closed and she had 57 percent of the vote. * "The result was so incredibly gratifying," she said. "It really fills my heart to know the people I have represented said with this margin and this vote: ‘We know her and we have been able to count on her for all these years.’ ” -- "57%"?  excuse me, but Washedout Schultz won her last race against a Republican by a bigger margin. now, 43% of Democrats didn't want to send her back..

How can realtors look sellers or buyers in the eye and tell them that they represent their interests yet plan to vote to lift the freeze? Sellers will get less , and what about motgage bankers,, no longer will they be able to look at tax costs as "fixed" when computing what the maximum loan they will approve.

FBI Director Comey says the election could be compromised by hackers. In fact, Comey said he was aware of 2 such invasions. Dingy Harry Reid declared that it probably was "the rushans"...? Now, my first thought was worrying about Democrats.

Too late for this cycle, but I am supporting any Republican who runs against John Pezold next cycle.. I had the most incredulous texting exchange with him yesterday. He initiated the thread complaining about me bringing his family into a conversation about fair tax assessments. Told him it was an example of how ineffective a collection agency our Tax Assessor's office is, and that an effective Tax Assessor's office could have all the current information up-to-date so existing property values would bring in more revenue despite the tax freeze.  He went ballistic defending his vote to allow the Tax Thaw initiative on the ballot.. kept wanting me to give him an age  I would approve of for him to get a say on voting on the issue.. I threw in questions about him naming people/addresses of homes of homes that were not paying their fair share. He said he knew of one that was only paying $35.00.. I said, Oh, are you talking about many of the owners of luxury condos at the Eagle&Phenix... then he got back on a another rant about how old I thought he needed to be to finally get to vote on the issue.. I asked him to send me the names/addresses of 10 properties that pay $100.00 or less in property taxes.. he said he couldn't. I said since he was using such info to defend his vote on allowing the Tax Thaw initiative on the ballot, I figured he had that info at his fingertips. More rage about how old I thought he should be to vote.. I finally told him "age, when you grow up and become a man".. He still demanded an age.. I said, "John, you sound like my granddaughter (age 4) pitching a fit when she doesn't have the logic to figure out why she can't have an ice cream before supper". (Then I ducked).

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I hope that Darr and Countryman realize that the reason the city doesn’t have money to fund activities to keep our youth out of trouble is because of their stupid lawsuits that are bankrupting Columbus." -- Hmmm.. "the city doesn't have the money"? Well, this LIV needs to talk with the ZERO-bama DOJ about how much the lawsuits they will file will cost this city if their mandates aren't kept. Council should do that then impeach Mayor TomLYINGson for trying to ruin our City.

From the "are you sure Black Lives Matter" department - L-E headline/story: "Jury returns mixed verdict in retrial, rejects murder charge *  After nearly 12 hours' deliberation, the jury returns a partial verdict in the retrial of Ulysses Wiggins. *  a Columbus jury delivered a mixed verdict Tuesday in the retrial of Ulysses Wiggins, who was charged with murder in the Dec. 16, 2008, fatal shooting of Catherine Walker at a Talbotton Road apartment complex. * Unlike the judge in Wiggins’ bench trial in 2010, the jury found him not guilty of malice or intentional murder and reached no verdict on the charge of felony murder for allegedly killing Walker while committing the felony of aggravated assault." -- "no verdict on the charge of felony murder for allegedly killing Walker "? To this jury, Catherine Walker must not have existed...her life must not have mattered. Shame!

L-E headline: "AURORA MASSACRE SURVIVORS’ LAWSUIT * How four Aurora massacre survivors ended up owing the theater $700K * Judge finds for theater chain after settlement collapses, leaving the four remaining plaintiffs on the tab for court costs" -- With any luck, this may dry up those law adswe are bombarded with on TV!
