What is wrong with this picture...just got my tuition bill for one of my daughter's Fall Semester at Columbus State.. she's taking 16 course credit hours..13 of them on campus, and 3 via an online course. Tuition for on campus classes where she actually uses the campus facilities cost $174.20 per course hour, but her online course is $275.00 per course hour.. Does this really compute...has Common CRAP Math invaded our colleges? Common sense says that online schooling should be considerably less as an incentive for students who are working their way through college or for fully employed people to be able tot take career improvement courses to advance their careers.

While there are many questions not touched in this article, the one that
has raised my eyebrows is that why did the L-E work so hard to keep change from
happening in the MCSB elections when the publisher was working so hard to make
changes via a new option for learning? I do believe there needs to be more
written about whether the source of "financial aid" is from private sources or
some state/government program that's taxpayer funded.

For info sake.. recently, viewer numbers have eclipsed 29,000 on six continents (all but Antarctica).
