I'm not sure why Trump even responded to the Khan family death of their Marine son, but the only thing he should have said was that he didn't set the rules of engagement and other military policies that have gotten so many of our troops killed. The current Mayor and Council have no clue why Red McDaniel served so long and the electorate was grateful for his service.. Red took care of potholes.. it didn't matter where they were located, anybody, from any district, could call/e-mail Red, and know those potholes would get fixed. Since Red passed, there's no one looking after our streets. The true measure of the worth of a Mayor/Councilor is whether the streets are in better shape when they leave office than when they began.

That would leave enough to maintain our buildings daily/annually, and there would be no need of SPLOST projects to replace buildings with new ones that will face the same lack of maintenance problems that the MCSD suffers with.
