OK you Paraskevidekatriaphobians or Friggatriskaidekaphobians.. it's Friday the 13th..

James Comey's book is preceded by, per online headline, "salacious excerpts", but.. they are more like "sound BITES", and are certainly no better than some of the tweets from President Trump that mainscream media carps about.

In one particular one, Comey describes the president as “unethical, and untethered to truth and institutional values.” When you step back from this statement, you'll see it is an even better description of Comey himself...more of a mirror image..

Let me get this straight... Mueller has pretty much lost all credibility that he's seeking justice investigating the Russian connection for election tampering.. so....how could Trump firing Mueller be considered "obstruction of justice"? It would basically be reducing government waste.

---
The ACLU .. at best is a farce.. What's "civil" about representing an intolerant client who has no tolerance for the majority's rights/opinions?

---
I hear some Congressmen are trying to get Trump to commit to conferring with Congress before acting on Syria...good grief..with the propensity of leaks emulating a tsunami, Trump would get more privacy of action tweeting his plans directly to ASSwad and Putin.

---
We heard about a Virginia city that has been writing tickets left and right to cars riding too slow in the left lane..have we come to a point where one can be driving the actual speed limit and get a traffic ticket, and speeders waved on through.

---
Self-prophesying online headline: "Former Sec'y of State Albright Rips Trump: 'He Acts Like He's Above the Law'" -- Well if there is any former government worker more qualified to speak out about "being above the law, it's Madeleine Aibright.. she was hired by the Clintons... who have ALWAYS believed themselves ABOVE the Law...

Albright made one particularly heinous remark on Dana Perino's show.."Trump seems to lack respect for traditional democracy, particularly the First Amendment".. Good grief...Trump is a wonderful example of the freedoms protected.. insured... by our 1st Amendment.. It's Albright's political party/associates who are out trying to stop freedom of speech on campuses, street corners, and social media.

Online headline/story: "Florida judge rules Tampa cancer patient can grow his own marijuana * A Tallahassee judge, (Leon County Circuit Judge Karen Gievers), ruled Wednesday that a Tampa cancer patient can legally grow his own marijuana. * The Tampa Bay Times reports that strip club owner Joe Redner will be allowed to grow and harvest cannabis "solely for the purpose of his emulsifying the biomass he needs for the juicing protocol recommended by his physician." The ruling only applies to Redner, a 77-year-old vegan with stage 4 lung cancer – no other medical marijuana patients would qualify under this order." -- Can't you see them now.. a strip club owner and a judge sitting back sharing a marijuana daiquiri at his club?

From the "maybe the School Administration should reread and think about this headline" department - Online headline: "Teachers Get Baseball Bats to Confront Shooters in Pennsylvania District" -- Not only are schools trying to rewrite our history and our Constitution, they seem to want to rewrite common sense... what Dad from my generation would have ever told his children to take a bat..and a mini-bat at that, to a gunfight?

---
From the "shooting off your face to spite your nose" department - Online headline: "Bank of America to stop lending to ‘military-style’ weapons makers" -- You know.. the NRA will stop doing business with BAC.. and I'm pretty sure all gun manufacturers who do business with BAC will be making changes come Monday, but BAC fails to realize, that a whale of a lot of NRA members have brokerage accounts with Merrill-Lynch and First Franklin, or insurance or annuities with Balboa Insurance Company. General Fidelity Life Insurance Company, Meritplan Insurance Company or Newport Insurance Company, and/or do business with other BAC affiliates.. ME?.. I'm closing out my Merrill Lynch MMA on Monday, and going to screen any mutual funds that have BAC investments... BANG!  BAC.. you are dead to me.

Hmmm.. I think BAC suffers from the condition that mass shooters have... mental breakdowns.

---
You know.. you can get more pertinent news from my ramblings than via mainscream media... President Trump had a press meet yesterday... facts... FACTS!... put out included:

1 - optimism among small manufacturers was at its highest level ever recorded throughout the survey’s 20 year history; 94.5% of companies reported that they were positive about their future.

2 - Wage growth among those manufacturers surveyed also rose at the fastest pace in 17 years.

3 - manufacturers expected full-time employment to increase by 2.9% on average over the next year, an all-time high by the survey’s standards. Companies also said capital investments are likely to rise by 3.9% over the next 12 months, while inventories are expected to rise by 1.7%.

Trump is keeping his promise... to "Make America Great Again".

---
From the "this is why liberals heads are bursting" department - Online headline: "GOP launches aggressive 'Lyin' Comey' website ahead of release of former FBI chief's book" -- you know, DIMocrats are just not quick on their feet.. DIMocrats have become so use to Establishment Republicans rolling over/playing dead (that's called being a "Possum" down South) that today's DIMocrats cannot handle a real one that stands up for America!

Hey, World! There's a new movie out.. an animated tale of focusing on the World War I exploits of a mutt off the streets of New Haven, Conn., made its debut in U.S. theaters on Thursday: “Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero". While I do promote movies I've seen based on my own viewing experience, I want to promote this one because of it being produced by Columbus-based Fun Academy Motion Pictures. Yes, right here from my home town... It should showing near you as it's scheduled to appear on about 3,000 screens across the U.S. and in Canada.and I'm sure it will become available elsewhere soon.

---
L-E's "Two Cents Worth" headline: "2 Columbus pools promised ready for summer won’t open. Here’s what the city is offering instead." -- Hey, City.. why not close the Natatorium .. at least for the summer.. it's the biggest "leak" in our recreational budget, and closing it would allow a tsunami of cash to be freed up to fix the outdoor ones.

L-E headline and story: "FIRST WINNERS WITH ROBOTS
From left, front row; Locke Adams, Xavier Dubose, Carter Watts, Emme Van Doorn, Skyla Brooks, Kevin Guernsey, and Katie Johnson; middle row, Akshat Patel, Sarth Patel, Christine Hong, Caitlin Patterson, Hallie Richardson, Janine Abano, and John Tjensek; back row, Drake Braski, Chen Ren, Nathan Suggs, Austin Bell, Rohan C, Jeff Wilson, Sean MacGibbons and Robert Lee. Also pictured mentors (Laura Richardson, Brandon King, Paul King) Not pictured: Darrell Brown, Alexsandra Casanova-Chavez, Nicholas Chen, Crystal Chen, Amber Diehl, Matthew Hannay, Darris Holland, Vivian Vu, Eric Parker and Phillip Walker
You know.. it would have been nice... informative, too, to include the schools that these young experts and their mentors are affiliated.....

---
The L-E is running a movie ad for "Krystal" who "turns men into bos... and boys into men" ... Hmmmm... in light of the #metoo! movement.. isn't this rather "in your face"? Should women.. especially mothers, protest outside the AMC Theaters... or the L-E... perhaps both would be appropriate.

Attention! 50 two-man teams are competing for the "Best Ranger Award" at Ft Benning.. it's A winner take all competition.. in true American greatness,, there no "Participation Trophies" given out...the 2nd - 50th teams will be proud they had the opportunity to compete.. they worked hard to get here.. we, well, patriotic and informed Americans, are proud of them all.

L-E headline/story: "MCSD wants to change security at its schools — but it’s going to cost more. Here’s why.

▪ Plan A: current staffing, with 17 part-time officers, costing $2,133,871

▪ Plan B: 22 part-time officers, costing an estimated $2,409,993.

▪ Plan C: the recommended option, with 10 full-time officers, seven part-time officers, plus three additional positions, costing an estimated $2,935,591.

▪ Plan D: 21 full-time officers, one part-time officer, plus five additional positions, costing an estimated $3,826,337.

You know, unless there's more than meets the eye, I cannot grasp the costs that the MCSD is currently or wanting to spend..

Using the 2016 list of MCSD employees, there were 22 Part time Security Personnel ($10.00 to $12.00 per hour) and 3 Security Patrol men making about $21,000.

According to "Plan "A" (current situation - looks like we've lost 5 part timers) and are spending $2,133,871.00.. Where's the money going.. if we had 22 part timers working a full 40 hours a week for 40 weeks (10 Months) at $12.00 an hour there's about $422,000.00 in gross wages plus the 3 at $21,000 so the overall in-school personnel salaries come to about $485,000.00 of the $2,133,871.00 in this years budget.. we must have a whole lotta chiefs.

I'd like to see the numbers for Plan 'D" audited and published for voters to see before the coming up elections..
