Once again.. Toronto this time.. a man drives a rental truck on to a sidewalk, kills 10, injures another 15, and the first thing mainscream media and government do is deny it was "terrorism". Why not ask the 15 survivors and all the others that were able to avoid being run over if they felt "terrorized".

Online headline: "Flight records obtained by Bloomberg shed new light on Trump's heavily scrutinized Moscow trip -- and they seem to contradict what he told James Comey" -- Hmmm... based on plane records that doesn't even have a passenger list.. "they seem to contradict what he told James Comey"? You know, Comey knows, we all know, that what Comey says Hellary told him in interviews definitely contradict what Comey told us afterwards a focus's on something that "seems" contradictory versus things that are "known" to be contradictory to EVIDENCE, and yet mainscream media focuses on the "seems" rather than "the known". Talk about COLLUSION!

Was nice to see Rand Paul took another look at his political future and supported Mike Pompeo as the new Secretary of State...Republicans had better start listening to their constituents than mainscream media.

---
Online headline: "A self-described "real Indian" who is running against Mass. Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren is suing after city officials demanded he take down his signs calling her a "fake Indian."" -- You know... this is what's happened by the last 50 years or so of liberalism and political correctness.. DIMocrats and Mainscream Media have adopted their on interpretation of the 1st Amendment.. you have no rights to speak the truth...

---
I may have missed it in the local news, but did hear of a school bus accident with a truck at the intersection of Blackmon and Warm Springs Rds. Hmmmm..that's one of the Mayor's roundabouts.

Online headline/story: "Report reveals California does a poor job helping their homeless * California does a poor job helping homeless people who live in cars, abandoned buildings and on the street find shelter and must do more to address the problem in their state that leads the nation in homelessness, the state's auditor said on Thursday. * Lawmakers should require the state's newly formed homeless council to create and implement a statewide plan by next April for addressing homelessness in California, where about a fourth of all homeless people in the United States live, State Auditor Elaine Howle said in a report." -- And from the vote counts, all the homeless still wanna believe Helarry and the DIMocrat Party's tales/promises that "we're from the givernment and we're here to help"
From the same story: "Three out of every four of the 55,000 homeless people in the Los Angeles metro area are in a similar situation, living in a car, abandoned buildings or on the street. In contrast, only one out of every 20 of the 76,000 homeless people in New York, the nation's largest metro area, are unsheltered, the report said." -- Heh heh heh... OK, Sen Feinstein.. how about a new law that says all homeless people in Los Angeles must move to NYC...or their own benefit...

Though no "breakdown" of the MCSD's proposed Security Program for the next school year has been published, why is it necessary... even desired.. that the MCSD be in charge of such.. I can see a more co-operative arrangement between the MCSD and Columbus Law Enforcement departments would be more efficient and less duplicative in administrative costs... I mean, how can we expect the MCSD be successful in this aspect when it's not so successful in its PRIMARY objective?

Another question: Why is the MCSD so EAGER to tackle Security when it was also so EAGER to bring in outside educational businesses to handle problem children?

L-E guest commentary headline: "How long will the religious stand by Donald Trump? * BY ANDREW MALCOLM * Special to McClatchy" - Interesting question...in simple language, long as the DIMocrats try to diminish the presence of God...Christians know God picked many flawed people to bring His message to the masses, and we understand why..

From the "Tom-LYING-son's Lasting Legacy" department - L-E headline/story: "NCR closing its Columbus plants, more than 1,000 jobs will be lost * NCR Corp., which has been a manufacturing employer in Columbus since 2009, said Monday that it is closing both of its Columbus plants, as well as another facility in Beijing. * More than 1,000 jobs will be lost in Columbus due to the plant closures, with about 360 of those full-time NCR employees and another 679 working at its plants through temporary staffing companies. The total is 1,039. * One Columbus plant will close in August, the company said, with the other winding down in September and shutting down completely by in October." -- and this was foreseeable.. I mentioned sometime back that I was stunned that Synovus picked a German manufacturer's ATM machines to replace their old ones rather than "buying Locally".. Sadly, Mayor Tom-LYING-son will still be "the face of Columbus for the next 8 months even though a new mayor will be elected in May and have to deal with this loss of jobs, disposable income, and tax revenues as Columbus heads into the Christmas sales season. Hey, Mayor.. be sure to highlight this in RED on your political resume.. well at least confer with Hellary for "reasons" your political journey is over..

---
You know.. the first fatality of NCR closing shop may be the campaign of Tony McCool who is a Supply Chain Manager at NCR.. Hey, anybody out here in Columbus who's interested in a new direction by the MCSB have a job to offer to McCool?

---
Now that her book sales have peaked...especially to people who will not even read it, you really gotta wonder, that even though Hellary's "speaking fees"have dropped to the $15K-$25K range, why anyone would want to hear her repeating her old vitrol..even for free.

---
Soapbox Moment: You know.. since neither RINO-Republicans nor DIMocrats in Washington, nor mainstream media contemplated the voters' support for Donald Trump's message, why are we concerned about the RINO-Republicans, DIMocrats, or mainscream media's ideas on what America wants or needs?

---
Did you see the picture of of the AR-15 type semi-automatic rifle the sicko who killed 4 at a Nashville Waffle House...it's described as looking like an assault weapon. Hmmm.. it also looked like the handle of an automatic umbrella, too...guess Sen Feinstein will be introducing new laws prohibiting umbrella design concepts.

You know.. since the sicko had his gun given back ti him by his father, do you wonder if the sicko might have silently thought, "This one's for you, Dad!" as he pulled the trigger?

And we ought to really examine the mental health of the government official in Washington who had the sicko's rifle, but returned it to the sicko's dad who, in turn, gave it back to his sicko son.

Unfortunately, it's not so much a question if the MCSB SPLOST construction manager asked MCSB member Mark Cantrell for his expert opinion about constructing metal-on-slab wrestling buildings, but of one as to why DIDN'T the construction manager ask Cantrell about the estimates before they were voted on.

Looks like Zeph Baker has a lot more to deal with than residency issues here...and being able to support his local residency claims after new documents pinpoint his address, legally.. and for his children's school address, as in Coweta County.

L-E story: "When Piedmont Healthcare and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia signed an agreement Friday night, it proved to be good news for Columbus patients of Piedmont’s two local hospitals and physician groups * The existing contract expired on March 31, but now has been extended until the end of May when the new deal will begin. It runs into 2021. * The agreement ensures that Anthem Blue Cross members can see their Piedmont doctors and visit Piedmont hospitals as “in network” without incurring higher out-of-pocket costs, including covering visits and services delivered since April 1, according to a news release by Piedmont." -- Seriously,, did any "think" that Piedmont would adopt Columbus Regional rates for its Atlanta operation? Now, the BIG question that hasn't been responded to.. at least not publicly, is what Council will do about its original contract for guaranteed property tax mils for Columbus Regional to help with local indigent care needs.. This contract needs to be terminated!

From the "there's a difference in an unintentional or unplanned shooting than an "accidental" one" department - Sad, sad L-E headline/story: "9-year-old shot in ‘freak accident’ at public housing complex, Columbus police say * The gun, which Maj. J.D. Hawk would only identify as a firearm, accidentally discharged when it hit the ground." -- First let's pray that the young man is still alive this morning and will recover. What amazes me is that with all the precaution gun manufacturers take to design that a gun's trigger be involved in firing, that we still have reports of "accidental" shootings, and guns "going off accidentally while being cleaned".. somehow, the barrel had to be aimed and the trigger engaged ....

---
From the "what about the illegals" department - L-E headline/story: Sen. Sanders to unveil plan to guarantee every American a job * Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., will unveil a plan for the federal government to guarantee a job paying $15 an hour and health-care benefits to every American worker “who wants or needs one,” embracing the kind of large-scale government works project that Democrats have shied away from in recent decades.
* Sanders’ jobs guarantee would fund hundreds of projects throughout the United States aimed at addressing priorities such as infrastructure, heath care, the environment, education and other goals." -- I knew it! Bernie must have gotten his college degree at the "University of Looney Tunes".. What is it about DIMocrats/Socialists that they cannot see that when Trump reduced government involvement in businesses that the jobs and economy started soaring?

---
L-E guest commentary headline: "How to reduce the vast black-white wealth gap * BY NOAH SMITH * Bloomberg" -- You know.. victimization of oneself is more deadly than what anyone else can do to another.. What America needs is for advocates that constantly put down the abilities and opportunities for the Americans be shut off access from mainsceam media and microphones.. the best way to equalize opportunities is to BUILD UP the CONFIDENCE for achievement in the opportunities that await all Americans.

From the "Hey, Mayor Tom-LYING-son, our reputation you've given us has leaked out" department - department - L-E headline.story: "Gunfire leads to player’s arrest * COLUMBUS, GA. * A National Arena League football player is accused of firing a gun in an arena parking lot as players confronted each other after a game in Columbus, Georgia.
* Florida’s Jacksonville Sharks said in a statement there was an “altercation” between Sharks and Columbus Lions players outside the Columbus Civic Center Saturday night. * Muscogee County Jail records show that Sharks defensive end Leon Mackey faces charges of discharging a gun near a highway; and reckless conduct causing harm/ endangering safety." -- Hmmm... guess even out-of-town sports figures perceive that they have to provide their own security in Columbus. Even sadder is that the L-E chose to hide this in a "miscellaneous" sport's page column rather than alert Columbus voters via the Front Page!
