April 4th... an ordinary day for the most part, but not so in 1968... Martin Luther King, Jr was assassinated in Memphis, TN. We remember him today.. Unfortunately, we also remember the cowardly Illinois-born stalker who shot him...I'm not going to publish his name as he doesn't deserve to be remembered WITH Dr King...unfortunately, too, we do remember... vividly.
You know.. of all the soldiers... all the disciples.. of Dr King.. Jesse Jackson is the most disappointing one of all.. I do not look at him and see Dr King's message... I see only a man looking out for his own gain. John Lewis is a pretty close 2nd..

From the "tiptoeing through the two-lips" department - Online headline/story: "YouTube shooting: Female suspect dead, three wounded at firm's HQ in San Bruno, California * A woman opened fire at YouTube's California headquarters Tuesday afternoon before turning the gun on herself, authorities said. Three other people were shot, one of whom was in critical condition. * Four senior law enforcement officials identified the woman as Nasim Najafi Aghdam, 39, whose last known address is in the San Diego area. They said she used a 9mm handgun. * Law enforcement officials said the woman approached an outdoor patio and dining area near lunchtime and opened fire in what appeared to be a domestic dispute not related to terrorism * the shooter was believed to have killed herself." -- Hmmm... "Nasim Najafi Aghdam"? "believed to have killed herself"? "not related to terrorism"? ... Good grief... a female Muslim suicide killer... and police authorities immediately deny it wasn't "terrorism".. tell that to the victims.

In a subsequent story to the terrorism at YouTube's HQ: "American mass shootings tend to follow a grim pattern: A man opens fire on a school or workplace, claiming lives and sowing chaos. * It's definitely very rare to see a female shooter," said Sherry Hamby, research professor of psychology at the University of the South. "The more extreme the violence, the more likely the perpetrator is to be male." * Hamby said research has pointed to a variety of reasons men are more likely to be violent, including a sense of entitlement. When women are violent, there tends to be a connection to a domestic dispute, Hamby said." -- "when women are violent, there tends to be a connection to a domestic dispute"? Talk about stereotyping women... and men!

Those "clear" backpacks being distributed to Parkland, FL students... how does that keep sickos from carrying a weapon in a non-suspicious "lunch sack"?

Online headline: "Ratings for the Villanova-Michigan championship game were the lowest ever" -- Good grief... American basketball fans had been treated to a fantastic Women's Final 4 weekend where the Number 1 seeds in each bracket met in the semi-finals which bot went to overtime, then the final game ended on a walk-off 3-point shot..the Men's Final 4 match-ups were, at best, a disappointment. There's no mystery here.

It's Masters Week! If the azaleas in my yard are any indicator, we're in for a wonderful week in Augusta!

Mueller needs to have his reins yanked taut on pressing charges for "lying" until Comey produces the notes and recordings taken during Hellary's "interviews". His plea that none were taken reeks of deceit itself, and Mueller better yet, Sessions, needs to strap Coney into a lie detector.

I heard American lawyers have gone to Mexico to "coach" the caravan of illegal aliens snaking through Mexico on what to say to have a better chance on gaining entry into the US. This has to be treasonous activity..perhaps the US Visas and citizenship of the lawyers should be suspended/revoked ...at least until 'the WALL' is finished.
Most ..if not all, of the caravan comes from Central America.. maybe all from Honduras..how do they get into Mexico without challenge... and perhaps - most likely - without passports, and be allowed to march from Mexico's southern border to its northern border without being arrested.. we know how stringent Mexico is on "visitors" entering from the US.

From the "it's time to disband the US 9th District Court system" department - Online story: "Deep in a seemingly obscure Supreme Court case on Monday, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg sounded an alarm for liberals: The New Deal may be under attack. * The conservative majority is undermining worker protections from the 1930s, Ginsburg wrote, "without even acknowledging that it unsettles more than half a century of our precedent. * "By stretching the [overtime] exemption ... ," wrote Ginsburg, the 85-year-old leader of the liberal wing, the majority strips away "protection for ... vulnerable workers." * The question in the appeal by a Mercedes-Benz dealership in California was whether service advisers who consult with customers about their servicing needs fell under that exemption. The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that service advisers qualify for overtime pay * Reversing that decision Monday, Justice Clarence Thomas declared for the majority that service advisers, based on ordinary meanings, are "salesmen ... primarily engaged in ... servicing automobiles." -- You know.. whether actually it is or not.. the US 9th District rulings are the most overturned by the US Supreme Court.. and it follows a consistent pattern... lawyers SHOP for way to get their cases reviewed by the 9th.. and this alone shows that lawyers feel that the 9th District Judges are more likely to rule on their own feelings versus interpretation of the Constitution..

Lists... we have another "list".. this one published by the "World Bank" it's one of an estimate by the World Bank as to the rankings of the "most unequal countries. Surprisingly, the US is not "Number 1" in this "list", in fact 54 other countries rank the same or higher than the US... surprisingly, in this PC world, is that Mexico/Guatemala/Honduras are ranked much worse than the US... sorta upsets the "meanness rating" liberals label our country, and this definitely undermines the "sanctuary city" argument of California cities. Even more disturbing is that countries like Iran, Russia, Iraq, and Pakistan are rated "BETTER" than the US.. For some unexplained reason, Syria and Afghanistan didn't make the list.

Online headline/story: "Jill McCabe: The president attacked my reputation. It’s time to set the record straight. * I am an emergency room pediatrician and an accidental politician — someone who never thought much about politics until I was recruited to run for state office after making a statement about the importance of expanding Medicaid. That decision — plus some twisted reporting and presidential tweets — ended up costing my husband, Andrew, his job and our family a significant portion of his pension my husband had worked hard for over 21 years of federal service. For the past year and a half of this nightmare, I have not been free to speak out about what happened. Now that Andrew has been fired, I am" -- "an accidental politician"? Yeah.. put up for and supported by the Hellary cabal to try to buy a vote in the Virginia State Senate with directed donations of about $675,000.00 from a PAC headed by Clinton-minion, former Gov Terry McAuliffe who also was Slick Willie's co-chair in his 1996 re-election effort.

From the "reeks of contrived conspiratorial hypocrisy" department - Online story: "A Chevrolet dealership in Chantilly, Virginia has reportedly canceled a planned event hosting EPA Chief Scott Pruitt tomorrow in a claimed effort to avoid the Chevy brand being associated with an expected announcement about the government rolling back Obama-era emissions standards and California’s right to set its own pollution rules, according to the New York Times." -- "Chevy's brand being associated... with the government rolling back Obama-era emissions standards"? Hey, Chevy is a brand of GOVERNMENT MOTORS, and now Trump is "the people's voice"...Maybe Trump should simply revoke the contract the Virginia dealer made under Obama..

L-E story: "The Andrews Road nightclub where a Columbus man was killed and two others wounded in an early Easter morning shooting was operating without a city business or alcohol license, city officials confirmed." -- Two things jump to the top of my questions list: 1 - does not the CPD and CFD check into night clubs on a periodic basis and see if licenses are posted.. and up-to-date, and 2 - who sold/delivered the liquor and beer to that operation?

From the "talk about a lose-lose situation for China" department - L-E headline: "China targets California wine in trade fight" -- Hmmm... let's see with tariffs on Chinese steel, America wins as we rebuild our ability to rebuild our infrastructure without foreign dependence... China , on the other hand, has just raised the costs of what Chinese wine lovers pay for a "want".

---
L-E story: "Seventeen states and the District of Columbia filed a lawsuit Tuesday to block the Trump administration from adding a last-minute citizenship question to the 2020 decennial Census." -- Interesting.. a story like this and the 17 states were not mentioned.. I do figure I can name most of them, and probably not one voted for Trump.. Now... as I see it, the 17 states should not be allowed to vote in National Elections until they can assure the other 33 states that their voters are ALL citizens, and all 17 states' Congressional Representatives should be banned from voting or being counted in attendance for voting purposes until their elections can be verified as having been elected by verifiable American citizens qualified to vote.
