From the "right on schedule" department - Online "headLIE": "Senate Democrats reportedly investigating second sexual misconduct allegation against Brett Kavanaugh" --WRONG! The headLINE should read, "Senate Democrats reportedly INITIATING second sexual misconduct allegation against Brett Kavanaugh" You know, if the MSM-13/Despicorat coalition had "vetted" and "researched" Obama's nominees in the way they have "vetted" and "researched" Trump's nominees, none of them would have vote FOR Kagan or Sotomayor.. For that matter, if the MSM-13/Despicorat coalition had "vetted" and "researched" Obama like they did with Trump, Obama would never have been one of our presidents.

This is for our community of Columbus to absorb...After a brief respite, murder number 25 happened recently, and murder number 26 happened Saturday...this will continue.. and grow.. until there's unity between the races to get on one page in processing all crime.. It's not racism when some one is arrested and tried for a crime.

---
Online headline: "Iran fears plot by US and its Gulf allies as pressure grows" -- In this case, FEAR is GOOD! During the Obama era, even the world was in fear because Obama apologized.. even bowed to the mid-east terrorist leaders..

---
Tiger Woods is BACK! There's a lesson in this that the MSM-13/Despicorat coalition should digest, the golf world does not care about Tiger Woods' skin color; the golf world is concerned.. elated.. that Tiger is Tiger.. again!

---
Well, well, well... Georgia is ranked as the 37th in the countdown to the state with the worst roads.... From my own experiences, Georgia should probably be closer to the 50th spot, but the judges obviously found Columbus and drove around for a few hours..

37. Georgia
> Public roads in poor condition: 11.3% (14th lowest)
> Deficient bridges: 16.3% (9th lowest)
> Added vehicle costs: $60 per motorist (the lowest)
> Size of road system: 270,335 lane-miles (8th largest)

Trump is the right person at the right time! Just the fact of how politicians of both parties feel threatened of their future just shows how far both parties have strayed from what should be a united goal to Make America BETTER!

---
Online story: " Cuba's new president, Miguel Diaz-Canel, arrived in New York on Sunday for his first trip to the United States, where he will denounce the decades-old U.S. trade embargo on his country at the U.N. General Assembly, state-run media reported. * Only the U.S. Congress can lift the full embargo, put in place more than 50 years ago." -- Good grief.. If Carter, nor Clinton, nor Obama did not do this during their first two years of office when they had Despicorat majorities, then it isn't likely to happen.. ever.. at least not until Cuba vacates Communism.

---
From the "talk about something sad" department - There's an online story about the favorite alcoholic drinks of our presidents throughout history. There's a certain amount of joviality about the habits of some who over-imbibed, but it becomes obvious that MSM-13 cannot even give genuine credit for Trump's total sobriety. MSM-13.... YOU are pathetic!

M/C L-E headline: "Columbus police arrest man wearing mask on Dozier Street" -- And why aren't antifa protesters arrested before they injure people and damage property?

Monday, Monday.. another week has passed, and it's update time on three local issues that just aren't going away quietly: Four months ago, the local Mayor's race was settled, and, to-date, Zeph Baker has not turned in his Financial Disclosures of donations and expenses.. IT's TIME!, Of course, even when she had a perfect opportunity to inform us during her "Let's Talk" meeting, the Mayor was tight-lipped about her purported collision involving 2 City owned vehicles.. I guess it's tough for Mayor Tom-LYING-son to utter words that HAVE TO BE THE TRUTH. On the 3rd issue, I have good... no .. JOYOUS.. news to report.. Those Amy Bryan for Council Post 10 signs that were plastered to a business wall at the intersection of 13th St and 5th Ave are GONE! Of course, she probably just wanted to take them on her trip to Denver to show she is relevant.

Online headline/story: "Kavanaugh accuser conditionally accepts GOP offer to testify this week * "[W]e are disappointed with the leaks and the bullying that have tainted the process" but "are hopeful that we can reach agreement on details," they wrote, requesting a Saturday afternoon conversation to continue talks. * Under the terms of the offer, Ford would testify first, followed by Kavanaugh * and not having Kavanaugh and Ford in the same room at the same time." -- Good grief! Our elected representatives are there to protect our Constitution, not dismantle it! Total BS to allow an accuser to present his/her "facts" without the accused being present...it's a lot easier to LIE when you can do so without the person being in the same room...and as for "leaks", there's only three people who need to be held responsible.. and accountable, and that's Ford, her attorney, and Senator Feinstein.

This afternoon (Monday) Brian Kemp, Republican candidate for governor, will be at the GOP headquarters at River Road & Manchester Expressway (across from Popeye's and Golden Donuts) at 4:00..Drop by for a greet.

---
I tell you what...most American women need to be concerned about what Despicorats are doing to their civil rights. The #METOO element seems focused on making burquas the only choice for swim suits, beauty pageant contestants, and cheerleader outfits.

---
Listened to a member of the team selection committee for the Final Four of the College Championship series try to keep a straight face saying that a team with 2 losses has a chance to be picked. About the only way that could possibly happen would be a team from the SEC West Conference, but even that won't happen because it would only happen if the champions of the SEC East and West were 2 of the other 3 teams..

---
OK..the Hawaiian at Alabama isn't just a one game flash in the pan. Looks like all the other SEC teams will take it up another notch and maybe get 3 or 4 teams in the Football Championship Series.

---
Good grief! If referees are going to flag pass rushers who have already left their feet who hit QBs just as they release a pass, the SEC may as well start playing touch or flag football.

---
What is ESPN2 thinking by putting Beth Mowins on football games as analyst? Her voice is worse than fingernails scraping on a slate blackboard.

---
For the second time this season, a Georgia player played "drop the mic' as they were about to score a touchdown. In the first case, another Georgia player recovered the ball and got the credit for the touchdown. This week , another Georgia player did the same hot dog move and only an inconclusive camera angle saved another embarrassing play..in fact, a Mizzu player actually recovered the ball...and ran it back to the other goal, and it could have been a Mizzu TD if the replay ref had a better angle to look at. And Kirby Smart did nothing..if it had been one of my players, I'd gone out, ripped his helmet off, grabbed an ear and dragged him off the field and onto the nearest bus to his home.

---
For the first time in their history, Mizzu wore gold rather than black helmets.. So, instead of looking like a high school football team, they looked like softball team..and a contender for the ugliest uniform of the week.... (of course, Oregon will probably win).

M/C L-E headline/story: "INTERCITY LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE * Columbus’ bold, young leaders make their voices heard * This is the 25th consecutive year the Chamber of Commerce has sponsored the trip that takes a group of people in key positions to another community to look at potential areas for improvement in Columbus. In Denver, the focus was on regionalization, downtown redevelopment, and turning struggling areas of a city into productive and viable parts of the community. The cost to attend was $2,750 per person and it was paid by businesses, organizations, nonprofits and some local foundations." -- Hmmm two questions: Since we have 24 previous years to analyze/parse, has anyone actually highlighted the results of what's been gleaned and put into action from those 24 (particularly the last 7) previous trips? The next question has $385,000.00 it costs (140 X $2,750.00) really been the best use for the community's future.. Seems to me that in the last month, Columbus has had two HIGH-POWERED symposiums of National and International Leaders "right here in AMAZING River City". Surely "scholarshipping" these 140 Columbus area citizens would have had a local impact far exceeding what will be gained at going out-of-town to an area totally unlike the conditions we have here in Columbus... and the $385,000.00 would have been circulated among local merchants who really need such a shot in the arm.

M/C L-E headline: "Title-pawn shops lack regulation in Georgia, ‘keep poor people poor’ * BY KEVIN G. HALL, MICHAEL WOODEL, LAURA CORLEY AND BEN WIEDER * khall@mcclatchydc.com mwoodel@mcclatchydc.com lcorley@macon.com bwieder@mcclatchydc.com" -- Did you notice something? Did you notice this is on the FRONT PAGE of the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer yet no Columbus L-E personnel were involved in the reporting..Not only was this right under the story that 140 Columbus citizens went to Denver, CO to learn how to "grow", title-loans are a huge problem "here in AMAZING River City". Doing a quick Google search, I found 17 locations of theses scavenger companies operating throughout the Columbus. If there is enough title-loan business for at least 17 places to acquire them, I do believe this is a bigger problem that the 140 Columbusites in Denver could have been addressing and helped our community even more than any "tips" they got in Denver.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Change in defense sets death-penalty trial back until 2019 * The Columbus death-penalty trial once set for Oct. 1 now is postponed until next year. *
After Brandon David Conner’s private lawyers argued Monday that their client is out of money and needs a state-funded defense team, Superior Court Judge William Rum-er ordered the case removed from his October docket and set the next hearing for 1:30 p.m. Jan.14. * The Georgia Office of the Capital Defender will take over Conner’s representation, though one of his two private attorneys, Mark Shelnutt, may remain on the defense team to facilitate the transition and offer advice."-- Wait a minute.. seems like two lawyers have drained the defendants family of resources .. with no positive visible results, and now wants to be part of the new court-appointed team to keep his source of revenue flowing... doesn't seem fair to his client or his client's family and especially unfair to us taxpayers! Perhaps the court should order the lawyer to do work for free until all the hours he's already been paid for are met actually helping his client.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Mayor: Repair options for Government Center coming" * A referendum may be one of the options, but the mayor said that would add two years to any solution. “If we do a referendum, we’ve got to go to the Georgia Legislature, wait for the next ballot then wait for the other penny sales tax to roll off,” she said. “Then you can’t start building, you can’t start sending out bonds for two more years. It’s all got pros and cons.”" -- "wait for the other penny sales tax to roll off"? Which one? The two "LOSTs" are permanent, and the T-SPLOST has another 4+ years to go.. Does she mean the Education SPLOST? What needs to happen is the 30% portion of the Public Safety LOST be dedicated to repairs and maintenance of City buildings... that's at least $9,000,000.00 per year.
By the way, Columbus has had 25.. not 23 .. homicides already this year.
And, please don't tell me no one asked the Mayor about her reported vehicle accident not being reported?

---
Good grief! Michelle Obama is about to embark on a "book tour" to get closer to her followers... well, closer to their wallets.. She's booked rockstar arenas rather than book stores, and will be charging $30.00-to-$3,000.00 for tickets.. just think about what a family of 4 could do with the possible $12,000.00 in ticket costs... perhaps even but OObamaCRAP Insurance.. well, at least now they won't be fined if they don't buy it.
Oh.. don't even "go there" if you're gonna talk about her donating 10% of the ticket sales to a charity.. she should be donating that much of the money she already has rather than asking the public to fund her charitable deductions.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Ledger-Enquirer’s owner McClatchy reportedly eyes Tronc newspapers’ purchase * At current stock prices, Tronc is valued at a little under $600 million, a hefty price. But an acquisition could nearly double McClatchy’s cash generation, giving it a more stable financial platform, said investment analyst Michael Kupinski of Noble Capital Markets in Boca Raton, Fla. McClatchy is laboring under $760.4 million in debt. * “This gives (McClatchy) a better shot at succeeding than going it alone, as McClatchy is now,” said Ken Doctor of Newsonomics, a media industry consulting firm." -- "gives McClatchy a better shot at succeeding"? Good grief.. having witnessed the precipitous fall of McClatchy, my prediction is that Tronc will fall along with McClatchy as well. SELL SELL SELL!

I feel sorry for the current McClatchy pensioners....

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Law lets consumers freeze credit for free * A credit freeze restricts access to your credit file, essentially halting anyone from opening any new credit in your name. The rules used to vary by state, but previously it could cost up to $10 to put a freeze in place. That fee often had to be paid again when someone wanted to unfreeze it for any legitimate uses." -- You know, if there was a law making these credit information companies be responsible for any debt or issues from providing credit information for a credit application that they didn't contact the purported applicant at a KNOWN valid contact address, then there would have been more than adequate protection against credit fraud.

---
M/C L-E guest editorial headline: "Sexual assault memories last * RICHARD A. FRIEDMAN *
New York Times" -- I agree.. but.. faked charges against men last even longer as MSM-13 does not feel responsible to undo the damages created when it published undocumented charges.. even when the accusers are proven liars or confess the lies on their own.
To boot, this "guest editorial" is provided from a New York Times columnist.. you remember the NYT.. "all the news that S*** to print"!

---
Did you see the Atlanta Fed's 3rd Quarter GDP prediction? 4.7% America is no longer sitting on Obama's 2% (if we are lucky) prediction.

---
From the "Republicans will never learn" department - This time it's the attack on Kavanaugh... Republicans "feel" bending a little to demands.. fair or not, is a sign of cooperation and compassion. Despicorats, on the other hand, "feel" it is an opportunity to see not only how far they will bend, but as a sign Republicans will bend-over backwards. What America NEEDS is for Republicans to THINK... and stand strong! America's strength is being dependable, not bendable.

---
You know, Judge Kavanaugh is not on trial here...our Senators are. In an "advise and consent" capacity, it's their job..their responsibility.. to approve a president's nominee based solely on the likelihood that the new judge will defend all laws based on their interaction with the provisions of the Constitution..and only on that basis.

---
With the deadline passed for Professor Ford to accept the opportunity to testify under oath, we should assume she doesn't want to make the same accusation under oath, and Senator Grassley should stand up and appear as confident as Admiral Farragut, and proclaim, "Damn the Stupidocrats! Full speed ahead!"

---
Despicorats are complaining that Professor Ford cannot be "thrown" on the witness stand without support.. What BS! All she has to do is be truthful and provide dates and information that can be verified.

---
Well...the deadline for Professor Ford to step up and seek justice has come and gone without her. Just shows this was a political stunt...as long as she wasn't under oath, she could lie all she wanted as she and her Despicorat supporters pretty much figured that Kavanaugh would not pursue her in court.

---
It's become more and more apparent that the taxpayers need assurance that all political candidates who want to run in the General Election as a candidate representing a political party be required to pass a Constitutional Awareness test (with an "A" or higher score) that's prepared, administered and scored by the current Supreme Court. And, once a candidate has passed the test, he/she then must provide proof of US and District/State citizenship, and proof of voting district. No exceptions for first time or incumbent candidates.

Online headline: "With #WhyIDidntReport, sexual assault survivors remind Trump about the dangers of rape culture" -- Excuse me, but "#whynow"? And "#WhyNotEllison-Clinton-and Biden"?

---
From the "poetic justice personified" department - As Bob Dylan might say, "Hey, Rosenstein, how does it feel ..to be on your own!"

Of course, now we know why Rosenstein wouldn't...couldn't.. fire McCabe...

---
Of course.. the NYT story about Rosenstein may not be the truth,, the NYT has a tough time printing that.. It could also be a TRAP for Trump... If Trump doesn't call it "Fake News", the NYT will say that neither was their op-ed piece by an anonymous mole in the White House.

---
From the "poll truth and nothing but the poll truth" department - MSM-13 reported a poll of Minnesota Despicorats showed only 5% believed Keith Ellison's girlfriend's accusations of abuse even though she has documentation and prior reports. And the MSM-13/Despicorat coalition wants us to believe their other polls?

---
From the figures don't lie, but liars figure a lot" department - M/C L-E headline: "Here’s how Columbus area schools compare on 2018 Georgia high school graduation rates" -- It's amazing...the MCSD is proud of the graduation rate being higher that the state rates, yet knowing our students are below..and in some cases..way BELOW.. the state testing averages. What is there to be proud of?

---
Online headline: "Rosie O'Donnell calls on senior GOP politicians to retire: 'We don't let the 85 year olds carve the turkey" -- One thing for sure Rosie knows turkeys...she is one.

---
Online headline: "Attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford ask for another day to make decision to testify" -- Good grief! Republicans need to man-up! None of the other 16 Republicans that Trump beat could gave beaten Hellary, and they would be kowtowing to her right now hoping to win the upcoming elections, but most wouldn't because Trump voters would stay home out of depression.

---
Hellary continues to be just delusional! She's still trying to convince..us...and HERSELF.. that she lost because of Russian interference..Good grief, if the Russians had any influence, they would have tried to keep Trump out, not Hellary...they already OWNED Hellary.

Spoiler Alert! Have you heard or be taken in by the ad for California Psychics? After all the "pitch", they promise "if this isn't the best psychic reading you've ever had, it's free!"..Of course, the first question they'll ask is if you've ever had one before..pretty much knowing it is...and then you'll be told that their call IS your best one ever so it's not free.

---
Well, California Governor Moonbeam signed the Plastic Straw act... you know, I'd feel a lot better knowing I might step on a plastic straw rather than a plastic syringe with a needle on it.

---
Listening to the latest unemployment filings, and record employment numbers, and stockmarket records, you have to wonder if Columbus's Mayor and Chamber of Commerce executives are even aware of the Trump administration's economic success for the rest of the country outside Muscogee County?

---
Did you notice that MSM-13 basically ignored the shooting spree in Maryland that had multiple deaths? My guess is since it was a woman shooter, it undermined the whole leftwing premise that only men are evil.

---
Taking a look at the list of properties that the US Post Office returned, you can't help but notice the delivery address of many of the returned tax notices are the property address involved. How can the PO claim it cannot find them... unless.. unless it's a screw up of Tyler Technologies software...

From the "effort in futility" department: M/C L-E headline/story: "Illegal dumping has turned former mobile home park into eyesore * The owner of the property lives in California. Under the city’s policy on solid waste, Poole said the owner was mailed a certified letter but the city received no response. After 10 days, the process continues for officials to take action and clean up the property." -- From the "effort in futility" department: M/C L-E headline/story: "Illegal dumping has turned former mobile home park into eyesore * The owner of the property lives in California. Under the city’s policy on solid waste, Poole said the owner was mailed a certified letter but the city received no response. After 10 days, the process continues for officials to take action and clean up the property." -- This sounds like an episode Uncle Remus would have made a best selling story of.. sorta like "Please Br'er Mayor, please don't throw me in that brier patch!".. Good grief.. That property is soon going to bought at a sky high price for the development around the new I-185 exit. The owner in California could care less what the City says/does. My guess is that the California owner figures that the City cleaning it will be cheaper than him/her having to hire a clean-up company and having to comply with disposal regulations, and with the City doing, he/she doesn't even have to lift a finger.

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Actor locked out of Twitter over violation * Actor James Woods has been locked out of his Twitter account over a tweet that was found to be in violation of its rules." -- It's a shame that any media outlet can override the 1st Amendment of our Constitution.. Hey, ACLU, where are you when you could be relevant and useful?
