From the "and the beat goes on" department - Online story: " A former schoolmate of Brett Kavanaugh's accuser wrote a Facebook post saying she recalls hearing about the alleged assault incident involving the future Supreme Court nominee, though she says she has no first-hand information to corroborate the accuser's claims. * "Christine Blasey Ford was a year or so behind me," wrote the woman, Cristina Miranda King, who now works as a performing arts curator in Mexico City. "I did not know her personally but I remember her. This incident did happen." - Good grief, nobody knows... cares.. about what goes on at your former high school two years after you've graduated! My younger brother was two years behind me, and I cannot tell you anything about his and his friends' social lives.. Other than hi golf team winning the State Championship and going to his graduation, I couldn't remember anything else.. This woman is just another lib seeking her "15 minutes of shame".

---
We really do deserve answers to the accusations brought up by this Ford woman. First, why would she initiate her accusations by writing a politician and requesting her to protect her anonymity rather than filing a report with a law enforcement official. The next question should be asked of Feinstein...as to why she didn't immediately ask Kavanaugh about it in her private meeting or in the public committee meeting.

Online headline/story: "Neighbors wonder why Columbus High School needs to put up lights on the baseball field * The neighborhood found out about the lights by accident. Jackie Nix was out walking in the neighborhood when she saw a surveyor working near the baseball field. She asked what he was doing and the surveyor told her he was deciding where to put up light poles. * Because it was kept so quiet the neighborhood didn’t realize the proposal was being considered Monday night as part of the “Action Agenda.” A move to consider the entire package was made by board member Cathy Williams and seconded by Naomi Buckner." -- You know, the MCSB is right about the need for more lights... but the MCSB board room needs them most.. sounds like the MCSD/MCSB was trying very hard to keep neighbors around CHS 'in the dark" to keep them unaware of this intrusion.

From the same story: "(Dr.) Lewis added factors behind the call for lights. * “We are the only district of our size not to have lighted fields which are a requirement of the GHSAA for hosting state-level tournaments and will also will eliminate players having to leave school early to play games. * The only time lights will be used is for games, not practice, which will be less than 30 days a year. ” -- Yeah.. right.. now the players will be required to spend more time at the field and have less time for school work.. Does Dr. Lewis really think that coaches won't be using the lights for practice times? Does Dr. Lewis have a clue about the GHSAA baseball schedule? Practices can begin January 14, 2019.. and Daylight Savings Time doesn't kick in until March 11th. Dr. Lewis will have to monitor the lights himself to keep coaches from using those lights to get in extra practice time prior to DST.

Well, reading and listening to reports about the MCSB brings up this..It's what we got by going to an elected school board...politics instead of solutions.

---
I just read about a shooting situation in Wisconsin, and that the police arrived in time to kill the shooter. It was a most unusual report.. not one mention was made, not even insinuated/speculated.. as to the type of gun(s) the shooter used.

MCSD Claim: "Our rate has increased for the fifth year in a row! Congratulations to our dedicated students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community stakeholders who work hard to achieve unlimited potential." -- Good grief... the graduation test was eliminated, and "amnesty" was given retroactively for those who didn't pass it .. Of Course the "rate" is up. but not test scores ..

What the DIMocrats are doing to Judge Kavanaugh is despicable. Enough in fact, for me to rename them.. No longer will they be the DIMocrats.. from now on, they are the "Despicorats".

From the "yeah, right" department - HuffPOOPOO story: "A restaurant in Montana has canceled next week’s campaign rally at which Donald Trump Jr. was scheduled to stump for GOP Senate candidate Matt Rosendale. * Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, had been set to attend the political event at the Midtown Tavern in Bozeman on Sept. 25. * However, the venue’s management scrapped the booking. * “We definitely don’t want to take political sides. That’s never our intention,” the Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports the eatery’s manager, Jeff Wilcox, as saying. “That’s just not who we are. We just try to stay politically neutral. We’re a restaurant.” -- "we definitely don't want to take political sides"? Well, Buddy Boy,, you just did.. sorta like the Red Hen Restaurant in Virginia that ran Sarah Huckabee out.. and , Buddy Boy, from now on this IS "Who you are"!

You know, John Kerry needs to "wrap it up" .. He wasn't good for America worldwide when he was Secretary of State, and now he's interfering with America's future. Trump should immediately pull his clearances, and bring charges against Kerry if he ever tries to even imply he has America's interests at heart. And while Trump's at it, he should revoke any clearances Hellary has as well.

Excuse me, but does anyone remember then Senator Diane Feinstein standing up for Monica Lewinsky or any of the other women who brought accusations against Bill Clinton?

---
From M/C L-E story: "Reese, who was the chamber’s community development and growth director before becoming director of buzz at Yalla Public Relations in January, told the
(MCSB) board during its standing-room-only Aug. 20 meeting that she is disappointed it hasn’t censured Myers for his behavior."..Hmmm.. but I guess the MCSB doesn't feel that Yalla needs to curb it's employees social media outbursts about politics or MCSB members.

Online headline: "California Gov. Brown on Trump: 'Something's got to happen to this guy...he's going to undermine America'" -- Excuse me.. Brown needs to be put under surveillance immediately as a subversive agent of anarchy!

---
Fox News needs to get rid of Jessica Tarlov immediately. She has no interest in even exploring/discussing news or opinion. She's no less a Despicorat propagandist than George Soros.

---
Online headline: "Georgia district is ordered to redo primary election after voting errors" -- What BS! Just let the members of the political party decide who should be on the ballot...There us no requirement that a primary actually be held.

---
I remember when the number 1 goal of the Republicans was the day Hellary would "disappear"....as of this week, it seems that it's now also the number 1 goal of the Despicorats.

---
M/C L-E headline: "Gala honors officials, activist with Brinkley Lifetime Service Awards" -- Excuse me.. but what is Judy Brouillette's "lifetime achievement"... the most INANE Letter to the Columbus L-E Editor" or the Most inane LETTERS to the Columbus L-E Editor?

From the "lowered second stage of remedial studies" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "CSU rolls out new user-friendly application * To make it easier for prospective students to navigate what can be a daunting process, Columbus State University is unveiling a new user-friendly online undergraduate application. Built entirely in-house, CSU’s new undergraduate application may look a little like TurboTax. The program takes applicants through the process step-by-step, asking questions and then going to the next step based on the answers provided. Accessible by clicking on “Apply Now” from ColumbusState.edu, the new application is broken up into several parts and is fully responsive-working the same on a smart phone, tablet or desktop computer. The new application will be less intimidating, easier to fill out and easier to understand since the program responds instantly to inputs and also provides follow-up emails explaining the status of the application, what information/ documents that have been collected and what may still be missing." -- Good grief..you know, a high school education should prepare students for the next level in their education.. beginning with a comprehensive application that demonstrates the skills an applicant should have to be prepared for advanced studies.. This move basically admits what we know about the diminished expectations CSU has come to expect. That, and one more move to try to keep parents OUT of the College Process. Hey, CSU,, parents are probably still paying for your applicants' smart phones and tuition!

M/C L-E story: "Arrested for cocaine and marijuana in Russell County this past March, a former Phenix City football star and assistant coach at Alabama’s Tuskegee University has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of having a gun while selling drugs. * U.S. District Court Judge Emily Marks sentenced Ramone Jardon Nickerson of Phenix City to 37 months in federal prison on the gun charge Tuesday in Montgomery." -- You know, the first time I met my favorite high school basketball coach, I turned around after a conversation and started walking back to the drills...he kicked me in the butt for not running on his basketball court. I can't imagine where (well, I probably can.. ) he'd have kicked me if I ever took, much less sold drugs. Too bad this guy didn't have my coach in his life.

M/C L-E headline: "Florence death toll climbs to 37 as Trump visits area" -- Again, we do not take lightly any death resulting from a natural disaster, but mark my words, some Georgetown U, professor will submit a chart suggesting the probability of between 2,700 and 3,200 could/may have died.
