Hurricane Florence was news.. but CNN was true to it's roots and managed to present it "fakely".. Anderson Cooper is shown in waist high waters... while his support staff walks around 10 yards away with their ankles still showing.. Cooper stood in a catch-basin or ditch. Another reporter, Weather Channel correspondent Mike Seidel , appeared struggling in his head-to-toe rain gear bracing himself against what he tried to portray as a gale like gust of wind... while his support staff and bystanders stood by casually in bermuda shorts. MSM-13 just has an aversion to reporting what' the news really is..

From the "Jon Lovitz... "yeah, that's the ticket" department - Remember this name.. Christine Blasey Ford - she's the Anita Hill of 2018. ...HuffPOOPOO stuff: "Christine Blasey Ford, a professor at Palo Alto University in California, told The Washington Post that she had feared Kavanaugh “might inadvertently kill” her as he held her down and groped her while they were both high school students around 1982. * Ford alleges another teenager watched as a drunken Kavanaugh attempted to remove her clothing at a gathering outside Washington in suburban Maryland." -- Hmmm... sounds like she may have been the drunken one... and an unofficial "lie detector" test withe the "conclusion" that she was "being truthful" has nothing to do with what she said was "truthful".. For someone to harbor such an "event" in her mind for 30-36 years, the repetitive memory of what she imagined can... has.. become reality.

Toyota is a smart company.. it learned that if it could make ugly environmentally attractive vehicles, liberals would buy them... and it learned that if it rebranded them., and put the universal symbol "L" (liberal/loser) on them, uber-libs would pay even more money for them.

---
Chelsea Clinton said returning to pre-Roe v. Wade conditions would be "un-Christian". Hmmm..and using Roe v Wade to justify partial-birth-abortions IS Christian?

---
My BC followers are awesome sources of ideas and info..One just brought up a correlation between the the incoming Mayor and another SKIPper of TV fame.. perhaps we should dub the island at the Whitewater finish "Gilligans's Island".... perhaps even add a concession stand shaped like the SS Minnow..

From the "life's unpredictably funny" department - Online headline/story: "MANAFORT INDICTMENT ALSO IMPLICATES TONY PODESTA, THE CLINTON-CONNECTED SUPERLOBBYIST * The indictment, which was released ahead of an expected plea deal for Manafort, the former chairman of President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, says that as a part of his “lobbying scheme,” Manafort solicited two lobbying firms in February 2012 to lobby on behalf of then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. * one has been identified as Podesta Group, the firm that Tony Podesta founded with his brother, John, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign." -- You have to wonder if MSM-13 ever reads the real news....

---
From the "may I have another, Sir!": department - Online story: "A lawyer with ties to the Obama and Clinton administrations may face federal charges for failing to register as a foreign agent, according to a report. * Greg Craig, 73, a former White House counsel during the Obama presidency, is under investigation regarding whether he improperly worked as a lobbyist for a group associated with Ukraine, without first registering with the Justice Department * Previously, Craig held several posts in the Clinton administration, including helping to coordinate former President Bill Clinton's impeachment defense" -- Good grief... and yet Trump is the DOJ target?

---
From the "circle of life" department - Has Trump overridden Obama's racist indoor tanning tax...yet?

You know, know, the M/C L-E doesn't miss a day publishing Lottery Numbers, yet how many children who played Little League baseball here this year got to see their name in the L-E that they can save to show their children 20 years from now?

---
From the "looking for divorce" department - Online story: "White House counselor Kellyanne Conway's husband, George Conway, took aim at the president on Twitter Friday over President Trump's criticism of his predecessor, former President Obama. * In a tweet, George Conway, a conservative lawyer, criticized Trump for mocking Obama for a 2008 gaffe in which he mistakenly said he visited "57 states" during his first presidential run." -- First.. there's no conservative who would agree with Obama on America having 57 states.. it's tough enough having to partially accept the liberal concept that Washington, DC is a quasi-51st-state. but.. the only confederation that has 57 states is the Muslim world...

Online headline: "Cuomo, after election win, dismisses socialist wave as 'not even a ripple'" -- Hey libs, did you see..hear..what just happened? Cuomo just told DIMocrats what everyone else already knew but this time he's done so BEFORE the General Election. Cuomo told the left that he isn't going to keep the promises he made to get their vote in the PRIMARY!

Of course it's not "OK" to kneel in protest during the National Anthem....without the sacrifices made by our country's veterans and law enforcement personnel, we would not have a government that allows protest to begin with.

---
Online story: "Erica Johnson said she had planned to bring her daughter with her to the Packers' home game Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, but believed she didn't need to buy an extra ticket because the child is still too young to sit in her own seat, FOX9 Minneapolis reported." -- What a PR nightmare...the NFL feels it can "win" supporting players wrongful attitude about our military and law enforcement officers, but there's no way the NFL can disrespect motherhood and babies.

---
Online headline: "California will launch 'its own damn satellite' as a swipe at Trump, 'Governor Moonbeam' says" -- Hmmm... what I think the California Governor meant is that he wants to "moon" Trump..

---
From the "maybe they should rephrase the question" department - Online story: "More than nine months after the FBI opened its highly classified counterintelligence investigation into alleged coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia, FBI lawyer Lisa Page said investigators still could not say whether there was collusion, according to a transcript of Page's recent closed-door deposition reviewed by Fox News. * "I think this represents that even as far as May 2017, we still couldn't answer the question," Page said." -- No, they have an answer.. it's just not the answer they want!

---
Online headline: "Tracy’s 42-yard FG lifts No. 12 LSU past No. 7 Auburn" -- Normalcy is about to return on local social media boards, calls for Gus Malzhan's head will rule again.

From the "how did this get into the Columbus newspaper" department - M/C L-E editorial commentary content: "Myth #4: Police shootings. Sure there are some race-based police shootings, but research by the liberal Pacific Standard magazine reveals a lot more about the subject matter than you typically see in the press. African-Americans are twice as likely to be shot by the police (28 percent of police shooting victims are African-Americans) as their population numbers would indicate. But less than 1 percent of police shooting victims are unarmed. White officers shoot black victims at the same rate as black officers do. In fact, researchers from Rutgers report “white police officers actually kill black and other minority suspects at lower rates than we would expect if killings were randomly distributed among officers of all races.” -- Hmmm... guess Tures has to be more honest since he attained full professorial status.

Wow! It's MONDAY once again , though I haven't checked this weekend as I've been on a "BEST WEEKEND EVER" trip out of town, I can't imagine anything being any different in Columbus politics than the rest of my Monday blogs..Zeph Baker hasn't complied with the election laws concerning Campaign Disclosure, Amy Bryan hasn't taken down her campaign signs, and Mayor Tom-LYING-son hasn't addressed "the vehicle accident issue".. Well, maybe she'll voluntarily bring this up on Thursday during her "Let's Talk...at them" session. I wouldn't hold my breath about this though, nor bet on that happening.

---
M/C L-E headline:"Legal questions raised over use of evidence in retrial of assault case" -- It's sad when the question of technicality is the only block between someone being convicted for being a public terror when the person IS a public terror.

---
From the "Oooops" department - Online headline/story: "Nikki Haley Digs Up Major Dirt on Obama Administration to Clear Trump's Name, Destroys Story from New York Times * President Trump has been criticized and scrutinized by the mainstream media since his campaign. Now, the jabs keep on coming even though he is living in the White House.
* Recently, the New York Times reported a story about some extremely expensive and lavish windows treatments that were supposedly ordered for Nikki Haley's office. The curtains were said to cost over $52,000. * while it appeared to pin the blame on the Trump administration, it said in the middle of the story that the purchase was made a few years back," reported the Washington Examiner. * "The office of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said the $52,000 curtains installed in her New York office last year were bought by the Obama administration, not the Trump administration," according to reports." -- Yep.. the New York Times, "All the news that's S*** to print"

From the "what were they thinking" department - Online headline/story: "Convicted murderer escapes from Maine prison; had 2 previous escapes, officials say * Arnold Nash, 65, escaped from the Mountain View Correctional Facility in Charleston * “He’s dangerous. ... He’s a career criminal and residents in the Greater Charleston area need to be aware, be vigilant and take extra precautions.” -- "Mountain View Correctional Facility"? Sounds more like a retreat/spa where people go to explore... what did they expect?

---
Online headline: "US Coast Guard member 'removed' after making 'offensive' OK sign on live TV" -- Good grief! The universally recognized sign for "OK" has now been commandeered by the MSM-13/DIMocrat coalition as a conservatives expression of racism. Pathetic!

---
Online headline: "'Last Man Standing' star Tim Allen on the difficulty of trying not to offend people: ‘It’s like dancing on the thinnest of ice' -- Wait a minute...if some people aren't offended at some things then what's said is not really the whole truth.

---
From the "and the roosters return home to roost" department - Online headline/story" "Brad Pitt's Foundation Sued For Crumbling Homes After Hurricane Katrina * Brad Pitt is weathering accusations that he and his foundation built substandard homes for New Orleans residents who lost their houses in Hurricane Katrina. * "I made a promise to the folks of the Lower Ninth to help them rebuild – it is a promise I intend to keep," Pitt said through a spokesperson, USA Today reported. * In a lawsuit filed last Friday, homeowners said Pitt and his organization Make It Right engaged in unfair trade practices, deception, fraud and negligence. * Essentially, these people are paying mortgages on homes that are rotting away, have little to no resale value and it's questionable whether or not some of them are inhabitable." -- Hmmm doesn't appear that the Pitt Foundation did anything but capitalize of substandard housing.. Let's see some tax returns of the folks who were paid to build them... and include any "donations/kickbacks" the Pitt Foundation received from the contractors.

From the "Fahrenheit 451... 20118 edition" department - Online headline/story: "Target is bleeping out book descriptions, removing words like ‘Nazis’ and ‘queer’ * Target has come under fire from publishers and authors for bleeping out some words — including “Nazis,” “transgender,” “queer” and “bondage” — from the descriptions of a variety of books on its website. * Among the titles whose blurbs were scrubbed by the company’s automated process are “Trans: A Quick and Quirky Account of Gender Variability,” by Jack Halberstam, “Double Cross: The True Story of D-Day Spies” by Ben Macintyre and “No Property in Man: Slavery and Antislavery at the Nation’s Founding,” by Sean Wilentz. * The word “stripper” was bleeped out of the description of Roxane Gay’s book “Difficult Women.” -- Hmmm looks like popcorn/hot dogs, and Icees aren't the only things Target has "targeted" for censorship.

---
Online headline: "Pelosi: President Clinton ‘Ushered in Transformative Progress to Protect Women from…Abuse’.. unfortunately , Hellary also ushered in a new era as an abusive woman.

---
From the "wait for it!" department - M/C L-E headline: "
At least 17 dead... (Hurricane Florence" -- 17 dead? dead? Well, I'm sure some Georgetown U. professor is working on a probability chart that say between 2700 and 3200 died during the hurricane.

---
M/C L-E headline: "Neil Armstrong movie is not just about a flag" -- WRONG! It is about a flag....OUR FLAG! Planting 'OUR FLAG' on the moon first gave proof to the rest of the world that Russia was not the path they would be taking.

It was also about honoring John F Kennedy who proudly committed America to excellence!
It's also about preserving OUR HISTORY ...My generation wants our children and grandchildren to see the unvarnished truth..the unvarnished pursuit of excellence as we saw and remember so vividly. We want our children and grandchildren to know truth as it was, not as how liberals want to redefine/rewrite it.

Boycott! No Flag, no ticket !

Google and Face Book want to blame their censorship issues on bad Algorithms, but what Google and Face Book have is a dependence on ALGORE-rhythms.

---
Sen Corey Booker has proclaimed himself "Spartacus"...Sen Feinstein has revealed herself as "Spartaca", but let's not forget former Bleep-Veep Biden..he is the original "Sparta-CUSS".

---
M/C headline: "Stacey Abrams unveils her approach to Georgia’s health care. Brian Kemp fires back" -- Still waiting on the balancing interview with Kemp by the M/C L-E to match the softball one done with Abrams...oh...and some truthful analysis of the costs all Georgians who buy their family insurance will have to absorb additionally to fund Abrams' DNC concept "health plan".

---
It's amazing...that liberals feel Trump has the power of God to create/control weather disasters and yet don't even believe actually believe in God.

---
Finally a use for Hellary's book title department - Did you see see it? The AP's first toe-dip into uncharted waters? The AP actually questioned Obama ..the AP actually commented that Obama didn't pass a Fact-Check moment..The AP would not go so far as call him a liar but it did crack open a new door.

Talk about the height of grasses on our rights-of-way local struck a sour chord with me on Friday. We were heading south for the weekend and my bride and I were marveling at the strength and majesty of the gate way to Ft Benning on I-185... then we got on the exit.. looks like it's been months, not weeks since grass has been cut there.

---
Did you see it? The announcement of a $62.4 million project will bring new VA medical clinic to Columbus area’s 30,000 veterans last Thursday? Of course, "our" newspaper print edition skipped mention of it the next day...

---
Hey, MCSB -- now that the cat's out of the bag about the wrestling room at Columbus High,, does anyone want to speak up about exactly where the location is and the start/\completion date...or has the architect kept y'all in the dark as well?

---
M/C L-E headline: "MCSD has property for sale, but not this old site" -- You know.. it's really discouraging as a taxpayer to see our money abused/misused. Properties are mismanaged to deterioration and.or sold well below true value..

---
What a great weekend our family had.. not even counting the mighty wins of both our Bulldog teams, we had a Trifecta of wonderfulness. We went to Fernandina Beach, FL and witnessed, in order, a gender reveal of our next grandchild, the first birthday of our grandson, and ... and the proposal to our middle daughter! I don't believe ANYONE can top this 24 hour time frame!
