Hellary called Trump supporters "deplorables", and now Bleep Veep Joe Biden refers to us as the "dregs of society".. what's funny is Biden had no problem with one son cheating on his wife by having an affair with his other son's widow...now these are some REAL Dregs!

This so called impeccably credentialed accuser against Judge Kavanaugh cannot remember any specific details concerning dates, locations nor transportation details to or from some forgotten scene is actually not so honorable. What she's doing is preventing Kavanaugh from producing evidence that he wasn't at the place at the time she claims.

---
You know, Feinstein could care less about the woman accusing Kavanaugh of sophomoric moments...she just wants to delay a vote so the US Supreme Court will open with only 8 judges sitting in hope's of a few cases being deadlocked 4-4 so no changes will get made.

---
Hellary says Trump's mere existence hurts the theory of Democracy. DOH? It WAS Democracy that elevated Trump to office...in fact the majority of voters in 30 states did just this.

---
From the "YES!" department - Trump has ordered the FISA filings "declassified".. I'm still amazed no judge presented with the bogus filings hasn't initiated proceedings before now!

From the "players and owners alike should take to BOTH KNEES" department - Online headline/story: "Redskins/NFL * The Redskins are now honest about their attendance. And it’s not pretty. * The announced attendance of 57,013 was the lowest for a Redskins home opener in the 21-year history of FedEx Field — down more than 21,000 from the 78,658 who attended the Redskins’ 2017 home opener against the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles. * It also broke what the Redskins have claimed is a 50-year streak of home-game sellouts. * Swaths of empty seats attested to the story, along with the large section of 300-level end zone seats that was covered with advertising signage and, at the opposite end zone, the removal of seats to create an open-air plaza for fans to mingle, order drinks and keep tabs on other NFL games via 30 HD TV screens." -- Hmmm... more than 21,000 "announced" empty seats, so you know this number is for show...Instead of players "protesting", looks like they need to be "praying" as TV numbers are dwindling, too, and that's what allows their big paychecks.

From the "Jersey street fight" department - Online headline/story: "t wasn’t supposed to be like this for Sen. Robert Menendez. * Though the New Jersey Democrat is still favored to defeat Republican Bob Hugin in November, Menendez is being forced to fight to keep his seat. * It wasn’t supposed to be like this for Sen. Robert Menendez. * Though the New Jersey Democrat is still favored to defeat Republican Bob Hugin in November, Menendez is being forced to fight to keep his seat. * The latest Quinnipiac poll, released in late August, showed Sen. Robert Menendez with just a 6-point lead over challenger Bob Hugin, 43 percent to 37 percent." -- Of course the DIMocrat "machine" hasn't kicked in, but when an entrenched incumbent DIMocrat cannot get above 50% in polls by this time of the election, it's "game on!" for the challenger.

From the "this is leadership?" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "CHAMBER OF COMMERCE * Leaders to focus on regional approach during conference * Nearly 150 local business, civic, political and governmental leaders are preparing to spend three days in Denver this week as part of the annual Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce intercity visit. * This is the 25th consecutive trip and the second one that has focused on Columbus 2025, a chamber-backed regional initiative to increase prosperity, reduce poverty and improve overall quality of life for a stronger and more vibrant region for decades to come." -- You know, looking out a month for airfare, I could find one as low as $357.00 per ticket.. and sharing a $200.00 a night room for 3 nights would be another $300.00. So far, it's $657.00 per person.. and we haven't added the add ons such as travel/hotel taxes nor dining, so, for computation ease, let's just round up per person costs to $800.00 on the LOW side. For 150 people, we're talking about $120,000.00... and basically it'll all go "poof".. up in smoke.. and mirrors. What would benefit us MOST would be a better political working relationship with like minds in the GA legislature, but that's not going to happen when Columbus cast 60+ percent of it's votes for DIMocrats and have the City Manager's wife as the DIMocrat's "whip" in the GA House. And it would also help if Columbus could get Harris County back into the Valley Partnership, but what benefit does Harris County get from having the DIMocrat "anchor" attached to it's future?

M/C L-E headline/story: "GEORGIA PUBLIC DEFENDER COUNCIL * 2 weeks before death-penalty trial, Conner needs state-paid defense * Defense attorney Mark Shelnutt told the court Conner has had no income since his arrest in 2014. Both his parents were working when they hired Shelnutt and partner William Kendrick four years ago, but Conner’s father has since died, depriving the family of that income, Shelnutt said. * Conner’s mother is still working, in Texas, but she can’t afford to take on the legal expenses alone, so Conner will need an indigent defense team, * Kendrick said he and Shelnutt have to deal with circumstances they could not have foreseen in 2014: “The financial circumstances for Mr. Conner have changed, and changed drastically.”" -- You know.. I think the "defense team" should produce all records of payment's received, and all expenses.. especially what they have paid themselves for the last 4 years before any other considerations be made. Then there should be a judicial review to determine if the client's family has received fair value for what they've sacrificed, and whether the information the defense team has accumulated would enable them to mount a justifiable defense to support their client's "not guilty plea". All this should be done BEFORE any tax dollars be allocated.. and if the defense team cannot justify their pre-trial performance, it should be made to reimburse the state for the on going costs.

From the "what's new? DOH!" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "VETERANS PARKWAY * Road work to slow traffic; expect delays * Residents and business people driving along a stretch of Veterans Parkway in north Columbus this week need to be aware of “traffic interruptions” that will cause delays in the area, the Georgia Department of Labor warned Monday. * Penny Brooks, District 3 communication officers with the state agency, said via email that one of the lanes on Veterans Parkway from Old Moon Road to Hancock Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Tuesday and Friday." -- Wait a minute.. isn't this the same road that the GA DOT announced 6 weeks ago that it would be completed by the last day of August?

Again.. not taking lightly any death associated with Florence, it's now at 31, but we can expect another Georgetown U professor to present a "probability chart" showing there could be between 2,700 and 3,200 hundred possible deaths sometime in October.
