Hmmm.. the NFL has released a statement following the Nike deal made with KaeperPRICK and the extension to supply uniforms to the NFL teams: "The National Football League believes in dialog, understanding and unity," president of communications and public affairs Jocelyn Moore said in the statement. "We embrace the role and responsibility of everyone involved with this game to promote meaningful, positive change in our communities. The social justice issues that Colin and other professional athletes have raised deserve our attention and action." -- Hmm... So, the NFL "embraces" the thought of promoting "meaningful, positive change in our communities".... Yeah.. like when the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear a sticker to support the Dallas police officers who were ambushed and shot while making sure protesters were protected, but were stopped by NFL officials? I tell you what.. all the players who DON"T KNEEL should tape over any "swoops" on their uniforms or gear, and make a pledge among themselves not to tackle or block any other player who does the same, and to tee-off on all players... especially QBs who DON'T tape over their "swoops" Wanna bet what the owners would do next?

From the "another of the 99% who give the 1% of lawyers a bad name" department - Online headline/story: "Lawyer for homeless man: $400K in donations is all gone * Johnny Bobbitt's attorney, Chris Fallon, told the Philadelphia Inquirer he learned the cash was gone in a call with lawyers for Kate McClure and Mark D'Amico. * McClure and D'Amico are the couple accused in a lawsuit brought by Bobbitt of mismanaging donations raised for him through GoFundMe. The couple deny the claims in the suit, saying they're wary of giving Bobbitt large sums because they fear he will buy drugs. * McClure set the page up to give back to Bobbitt, a Marine veteran who helped her when she ran out of gas on an Interstate 95 exit ramp late one night. It raised more than $400,000 from more than 14,000 people. * Bobbitt walked a few blocks to buy McClure gas. She didn't have money to repay him at the time, but sought him out days later to give him the money, and visited him a few more times to bring food and water. They later appeared on shows like "Good Morning America" and were interviewed by the BBC. * D'Amico has said Bobbitt spent $25,000 in less than two weeks in December on drugs, in addition to paying overdue legal bills and sending money to his family. * The couple also bought Bobbitt a camper with some of the funds and parked it on land McClure's family owns in Florence, New Jersey. But Bobbitt became homeless again after D'Amico told him in June that he had to leave the property. * During an appearance Monday on NBC's "Megyn Kelly Today" show, D'Amico told Kelly there was well over $150,000 left of the donations. * The New Jersey judge in the case ordered the couple to transfer the money into an escrow account by Friday and hire an accountant to review financial records within 10 days. * The money will be transferred to an account controlled by Bobbitt's lawyers but can't be used until the judge determines how it will be managed." -- Did you see it? the blurb about the money being spent on "paying overdue legal fees"? How does a lawyer take legal fees from a homeless person?

Oh.. for all the millennials (and older snowflakes) out there.. in another story, it's revealed that of the $402.000.00 pledged through GoFundMe. that GoFundMe took about $30,000.00 in "fees". Like all liberals, GoFundMe obviously likes making money off other people's "good intentions".

One last word about McCain, his family and funeral: You know...making an issue about anyone not attending one's funeral pretty much tells God you do not honor or believe in Him. Holding on to hatred when forgiveness is the key to heaven pretty much puts your own destination at risk.

Why do DIMocrats feel Trump is responsible for the demise of OObamaCRAP? It's still with us, but now we don't HAVE to buy it, nor get fined for choosing not to do so. You know, John McCain may have thought he was screwing Trump when he cast his vote "NO" on repealing OObamaCRAP in it's entirety, but now DIMs cannot get by with blaming Trump with it, and in a way, even MSM-13 will have to report the numbers of the people who opted out of OObamaCRAP because they no longer HAVE to buy in...

Do you hear the DIMocrats harping about the Republicans not bringing up Obama's Supreme Court choice (Garland) to the Judiciary Committee? The DIMocrats could have cared less...in fact, they were happy because there was no campaign fodder for Republicans to fire up their base in the 2016 elections...and because...because the DIM's "knew" Hellary was going to win and she would bring up an even more liberal nominee.

Another question...what is the Liberals argument that says the US Supreme Court should be split so that most decisions should be 5-4.. If the Supreme Court Judges are actually doing their job diligently most decisions should be 9-0 ..either way.

How can liberals be so polar on their defense of the 1st Amendment and hatred of the 2nd? Without the 2nd, the 1st would soon be overturned as well.

Senator Booker of New Jersey says he wants more documents and more time to read them so he can ask intelligent questions. Intelligent questions my arse! If you have seen him in other committee actions, you know he's not interested in the best interest of anything other than his position in the DIMocratic Party pecking order.

How can DIMocrats harp about getting documents they feel they are entitled to concerning Justice nominee Kavanaugh , yet had no interest in helping their Republican colleagues get documents of importance from the FBI/DOJ concerning improper surveillance and misuse of government employees?

I get a number of "Prayer Requests" from a good man who runs a much needed social rehab program... Today, I received another from him.. and nit was the first one since Sunday, and my first thought was that it may be a "Prayer Request" for the Miami Hurricanes after their disaster against LSU.. Of course.. I was wrong and he was true to his mission.

You know, there're stories about an unidentified man reach his hand out towards Judge Kavanaugh at his hearing and it's being reported as Kavanaugh refusing to shake hands with a father of a student killed at Parkland (FL) High School. It was obviously an orchestrated move as the "father" rushed in as a camera "just happened to be" in a great observation point. The real question is how did an unidentified "spectator" get a place so convenient.. and close.. and inside of security personnel, to be able to get that close to Kavanaugh... and especially considering the "father" was from Florida and had no real reason to be sitting in the hearing room.

From the "bias? what bias?" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Federal judge doesn’t recuse himself, dismisses civil lawsuit against Aflac * In dismissing the suit in a Friday order, U.S. District Court Judge Clay of the Middle District of Georgia addressed the plaintiffs’ “invitation” to recuse himself because of family relationships with Aflac and the judge’s affiliation with the so-called “Fish House Gang.” * Land did not recuse himself and called the request from Joffe a “careless” suggestion. * “A judge must recuse when ‘a person within the third degree of relationship’ to the judge is or could be involved in a proceeding in certain ways or has ‘an interest that could be substantially affected by the outcome of the proceeding,’” Land wrote. “None of the individuals counsel identifies are within the third degree of relationship to the undersigned; at least one of the identified family members is dead; and to the best of the undersigned’s knowledge, the others are not employed with Aflac.” * “Neither fish nor family disqualifies the undersigned from presiding over this action,” Land wrote. “ And because ‘there is as much obligation for a judge not to recuse when there is no occasion for him to do so as there is for him to do so when there is,’ the undersigned has a solemn duty to remain.”" -- Good grief... Chuck Williams could have save the M/C L-E a lot of ink and paper costs by not running this at all... all he had to do was look at the President who appointed him ("W"), and he'd known that Judge Land separated himself from the DIMocratic side of his grandfather's leanings.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Man shoots and kills a charging pit bull * No charges will be filed after a man shot and killed a pit bull when it charged after him early Saturday on 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue, Columbus police said. * The 25-year-old man wasn’t injured in the 2:35 a.m. attack in the 3200 block of Sixth Avenue, said Police Sgt. Alan Malone. * Patrol officer Timothy Darden was on a traffic stop at 29th Street and Veterans Parkway when he heard two gunshots from nearby Wilson Apartments. He ended the traffic stop and went to the public housing complex in the area where the shots were heard. * At the scene, a man told Darden that he was walking past a home when a pit bull charged after him. The man said he pulled his gun, fired two shots at the dog and killed the canine. * Police said it appears the man shot in self-defense in the dog attack." -- Hmmm... obviously there were questions either not asked or not reported... Starting with: 1 - Aren't public housing properties "gun free" zones? 2 - Did the shooter have a "carry permit"? and 3 - Who walks the street at 2:35 AM armed?
