The attempt to give statehood status to Washington, D.C. needs to be squashed! It's existence was created to eliminate any state's "control" of the National Government, and any state's "control" over citizen's access to our Federal Legislative, Executive , and Judicial Branches. Besides, in our "Cancel Culture" atmosphere, sooner or later, Virginia and Maryland, which donated the property, and the original Pamunkey tribe which populated it, will be fighting over who can reclaim it and charge the rest of us "rent".

I understand how the Facade Board has zero control of what the state or Columbus State University build or put up for signage in the designated historic district, but how can the AC Hotel have neon light decorations on Broadway? I remember my wife and I being personally threatened by a Facade Board member, and given a 24 hour deadline, to remove an 10 inch movable Vinyl sticker decal of an ice cream cone on a window of our "My Party Place" storefront.
