I'm surprised... no more shocked.. that a Council decision to replace the late Col (ret) Bob Poydasheff is so confusing to them.. one is known for his service to Columbus and one is known for her scandals. Was baffled at one Councilor's decision not to vote..I can't imagine anything on which to recuse herself. I also remember when she came in to vote on an issue on a date that she had been granted permission to be absent... because it needed that all important 6th vote...

With the death of a shooting victim occurring from an incident in February, and the sad death of a 23 month old baby, they are recognized as the 16th & 17th homicide in Columbus, GA for 2021, perhaps we need some information ...which should be at fingertip availability, of 2020's shootings.... whether fatal or not.... about whether the guns used were legally possessed or illegally acquired by the perpetrators. Also, how many arrested for a shooting either weren't charged for illegal possession or had that charge dropped through plea bargain.. This has got to be stopped!

We are getting shafted on gasoline prices here in Columbus ... since Biden shut down fossil fuel production and independence in America, our Shell Gas Station at Whitesville & Bradley Park has become one of..if not THE highest priced REGULAR gasoline in town ($2.599 yesterday).....it use to be one of the lowest... and the high prices proliferate all over town! My "Gas Buddy" app says the lowest price in Columbus is about $2.229 @ a private brand in South Columbus. Of course, regular gas can be bought in Albany for $1.929, or in the Atlanta area for $1.999. Of course, Albany & Atlanta have competition ... we have collusion

Oh! Got my first Covid-19 vaccination shot on Friday.. process was pretty smooth. Was expecting the Pfizer one, but got the Moderna one instead.. I'm usually not affected by side effects of shots, but in this case, I had some chills (no fever I could record" and back and shoulder aches, and a loss of appetite.. plus a runny nose the for the first two days...This Monday morning, only the injection site in my shoulder still aches.
