Tomorrow, Columbus gets a chance of a "redo" at the polls... a chance to vote for reliving the past or moving into the future. We choose two City-wide leaders... the mayor and Council seat 9 At Large.. we can re-elect incumbents we already know won't "change/improve" things, or replace them with better qualified and experienced leaders.. ask yourself... Would you keep JoKKKe Biden if you had a 2020 redo opportunity? Vote Anker for Mayor, Redmond for Council Post 9.

Hmmm... from the flyers from the local TSPLOST* committee, and Mayor Skippy's campaign, all the people that want to raise your taxes want you to keep Skip in office.. on the other hand, John Anker wants to do a better job at managing the tax dollars the City already gets from us..... and when you look at Skippy's and John Anker's records, it's obvious Politician Skippy likes to tax, spend, and re-tax, and Businessman Anker has shown he has used his revenues efficiently.

TSPLOST* Committee -- There are two "firms" listed at 1200 6th Ave here in Columbus.. our taxpayer funded Chamber of Commerce, and the law firm that got to but the building at a deeply discounted price where the former Mayor's husband is a partner of said firm.

I went in to Targets Saturday to buy specialized pet food for one of my daughter's cats, ... Found it without any trouble... then thought about buying some generic baby formula for my oldest daughter's 8 month old son.. but.....the shelves were empty. What does this say about our country under Democrat rule today?

It took "forever" before Messenger Boy Biden shut down buying oil from Putin/Russia, but instead of propping up US companies to fill in the needs, Biden opted to put in orders for Despot Maduro's Venezuela oil. Whatta let down for our economy!... and the freedom of the Venezuelan people!

It's been a week plus since the Supreme Court leak concerning a draft document of the Roe v. Wade decision. It sounds to me that if it was leaked by a clerk/staff member, the Justices would have flushed out the culprit . I'm beginning to sense it was actually either one of the 3 liberal Justices.. Breyer, Kagan, or Sotomayor...or the incoming Justice....who probably had access to the info so she she would be knowledgeable of what was going on... that leaked it out...

Having our local Columbus government and School Board elections in May really does shortchange Columbus' ability to get improvements via the ballot boxes. We have too many posts go unchallenged, and few, in any, information sessions where be issues and problems are publicly discussed and solutions offered.

---
Online headline/story: "AOC-backed Summer Lee wins Pennsylvania Democratic primary for US House * Summer Lee has been endorsed by progressive lawmaker such as Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass." -- Wow! If this is not the penultimate reason for most of the Democrat voter base to wake up, those voters are dead and need to be expunged from voter registration lists!

---
Online headline: "Sen. Warnock demanding answers as to how mail piled up at Atlanta VA for a year : -- Hmmmm... has anybody heard Warnock asking why the new VA Clinic here in Columbus. GA still sits closed 4 months after it was supposed to be opened?

---
WTVM-TV9 Online headline/story: "City of Columbus accepting applications for Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program * To participate, the youth must be between 16 and 24 years of age" -- Hmmm.. another Skippy vote buying attempt... now, here's a question that does need to be examined and discussed and CHANGED: Why are adults aged 23/24 being offered summer temp jobs? These. jobs should be limited to students in high school and college/trade schools.

---
Columbus L-E headline: " Why star defense attorney Stacey Jackson chose to be Columbus’ new DA" -- Here's hoping that Stacey Jackson will return credibility to our DA's office... It's been a long time since this has happened.

---
From the Biden "promise" by any name is d=still a lie" department - Online headline: "In Tokyo, Biden says would be willing to use force to defend Taiwan" -- Seriously? China could.. can .. wipe out Taiwan before the White House handlers could set up a Teleprompter in the Oval Office of War Room for Messenger Boy Biden to respond.. but .. even if Biden really wanted to help Taiwan.. the US oil supply reserve doesn't have enough oil to sustain a war on top of the shortages he created on Day 1 of his administration(*).

(*) - I wanted to use "his term".. as in office, but it suddenly hit me that "term" better defines this period of incarceration American families are having to serve until law & order can be restored...

---
Online headline: "US economy is on a downhill slide. But Republicans can’t fix it, Biden warns " -- "Republicans can't fix it"? Good grief.. it sounds like Resident Biden is PROUD to admit what a lousy job he's done leading our economy!

---
Online headline: 'Mitt Romney admits Trump will likely be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024 if he runs and calls him the 'leader of the party' - despite admitting he wouldn't vote for him " -- Hey..Utah voters! Willard "RATT" Romney just said that he would vote for JoKKKe & Chuckles... again... if Trump is the Republican nominee. Y'all need to dump "RATT" in the Primary...

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Columbus community holds vigil to honor Buffalo grocery store shooting victims * A group of community members met in Columbus Sunday afternoon to honor those who lost their lives in the recent Buffalo, New York shooting. * People gathered at Lakebottom Park for the “It could’ve been any of us” vigil to express their concerns, pray and honor each victim. The organizer of the event says talking about it can help those who are traumatized by the horrific tragedy." -- Good grief! There were 8 people at this "event"! This is NOT NEWS WORTHY! You know.. if all the local media sent teams down there to "report that 8 unconnected people" were gathered , there would be MORE MEDIA PEOPLE there than "vigil people"...I'll bet this did not make any Buffalo, NY media stories!

---
Online headline: "Analysis: Harangued by Trump, Georgia's governor poised to rebuke him in midterm vote" -- I'm voting for Kemp again... not because I want to or because I've lost respect for Trump, but because I am disappointed in Perdue for not showing me GA would be better with him in charge. Now, in the Columbus mayoral race, I'm voting for Anker, because I think his vision will help Columbus versus what Mayor Skip sees...

---
Online headline: "NC loses $5.5 billion, 8,100-job Hyundai manufacturing project to Georgia" -- Hey.. somebody send this to the Columbus Chamber of Commerce... and ask if they even made a pitch... or even knew to make a pitch...

---
WTVM-TV9 headline: "Columbus mayor issues proclamation for volunteers at National Civil War Museum" -- Dang... .Mayor Skippy is grasping at every straw he sees.. showing up at local events and passing out pats on the back to people he probably didn't know.. I'd look for him at Piedmont MidTown Hospital's NICU to kiss babies, but Piedmont is enforcing it's Covid-19 protocol again...

Our church is desperately hunting member volunteers to help teach reading skills to school aged students we reach at our South Columbus Mission Church facility. Every one of them is enrolled in the MCSD.... I asked why should we have to be doing this...shouldn't these students ability to read at there grade level be a... nom THE.. prerequisite to be graduated to their next grade! It's primarily the lack of reading skills that entrap people into poverty!

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "78,000 pounds of infant formula arrives in US * A military plane carrying enough specialty infant formula for more than half a million baby bottles arrived Sunday in Indianapolis, the first of several flights expected from Europe aimed at relieving a shortage that has sent parents scrambling to find enough to feed their children." -- I have a couple of questions.. I'm assuming European countries are not experiencing any shortages, and that it's basically an issue of a Democrat run US economy....so.. first.. Why does the US, the land of plenty.. HAVE such shortages and Europe doesn't? Second, who's in charge of distributing the formula on US grounds, and how will it be distributed (government or private businesses)? Thirdly, When will it be available on Grocery shelves? Fourth, 78,000 pounds at roughly EIGHT 8-oz bottles per pound make 624,000 bottles Using the 4 scoops (approximately 35 grams) of powder per 8oz bottle instructions), and the US has about 1,000,000 infants under 1 year old.. so 624,000 bottles won't even give every infant in the US one bottle! Ask Resident Biden who babies he's not going to feed today... or tomorrow...

Wow! Who'd have ever imagined a Jeep with a base price of $89,995.00? Well.. meet the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer... Hmm.. we better "thank" JoKKKe Biden's minions" ... in the primaries and especially in November...

---
Online headline: "Schools are completely disrespecting parental rights with their children: America First Legal adviser * Ian Prior slams how schools are treating parents" -- Wait a minute! Taxpayer funded school employees work for the parents! Parents opinions about what their children need are what should be the first "go to" for any employee of the people!

---
From the "Political Bias? What political bias?" department - Online headline: 'Justice Department to appeal decision blocking Biden admin from ending Title 42" -- And since when is the CDC above the law?

---
From the "Say it ain't so, JoKKKe" department - After reading about a recall on Jif Peanut Butter, and seeing the "number range" on the two jars we bought at Sam's Club we have in our pantry, I went to our closest Publix seeking an immediate emergency replacement bottle of Jif.. but when I got there.. EVERY jar of JIF had been pulled because of the recall! Oil shortages, formula shortages, and now Jif shortages.. is nothing sake on Resident Biden's "watch"?

---
From the "there's a bounty on cows, but not illegal aliens" department - Online headline: "Skeet Jones is a powerful judge in Texas' smallest county. He is being charged with cattle theft." -- Hmmm.. so it's OK to arrest "got away" cattle but not "got away" illegal aliens....Of course he's a Democrat.. ran unopposed in the Democrat primary and has no competition in the General Election.

Our neighborhood has had a celebrity move in! Met him yesterday at our Homeowners Association Meeting.. Lebronze "Dave" Davis, a decorated Vietnam veteran...and 10 of his brothers have 158 years combined in serving our country..In 2017, the Davis men were honored by the National Infantry Museum Foundation. The names of the 11 brothers and their uncle are engraved on four paving stones installed at the museum. * "What these brothers did out of love for both family and country is nothing short of remarkable," foundation president Pete Jones said in a statement to The Associated Press. "Their sense of duty is unrivaled, and is the kind of spirit that makes our nation's armed forces the greatest in the world." -- Our Columbus neighborhood has some great veterans living here.. just 4 blocks from the new... yet 4 months late in opening... VA Clinic.. Hey.. Congressman Bishop.. and Columbus Council/Mayor.. let's get this facility up and running.. call Biden and demand he rethink his money and personnel distributions!

When I was sixteen, my summer construction job paid $1.15 per hour , and I netted about $40.00 a week.. gasoline was about 25-to-30 cents a gallon, so a fill-up may cost $6.00 max ,and I used maybe 2 tanks a week. That left me with about $28.00 for personal uses such as dating and fast food (McD burgers were 15-cents, Dinglewood hotdogs with chili were 20-cents) and going to Columbus Foxes/Confederate Yankees baseball games at Golden Park.. My gas needs are about the same now.. a couple of tanks per week for both my bride and me, but a fill-up now runs between $65-$80.00 dollars for regular gas and up to $75-$100.00 on premium.. Gas purchases now run between $240-$400 a WEEK.. twice as much as it did when JoKKKe Biden took office on Day 1...and the price of "fast food" has soared! Hey libs.. having second thoughts at spurning Trump for his tweets compared to what Biden's policies are doing for your finances, families, and future?
