Current Columbus, GA Mayor Skip must really be getting desperate! We got a 2nd campaign flyer yesterday, and this time Mayor Skip is attacking John Anker based on Anker not having "time" to "Learn about leadership, Learn how Council works, nor learn about budgeting"..Excuse me? First, Anker will have 7 months before taking control in January of 2023, but Anker already has proven his leadership, and his financial budgeting skills as a successful BUSINESSMAN! On the other hand, not only does Mayor Skip have a City Manager and TWO Deputy City Managers, until recently, Skip also had hired A DEPUTY MAYOR, and our City is still not operating on "all 8 cylinders", plus with garbage and debris pickups being an embarrassing frustration for our taxpayers, and with the police officers losing confidence in Mayor Skip, Skip is probably not going to learn anymore leadership and budgeting skills in the next 7 months..

Sometimes we find out new things that require new questions to be asked.. Remember the "Help Save Hilton" effort when former Mayor TT Tom-LYING-son and Councilman Henderson were promoting a T.A.D. proposal to build an "affordable high density housing project" at the intersection of Wynnton Road @ Hilton Ave & N. Dixon? MidTown reacted, and project got waylaid. Well, yesterday, I saw this comment made in a Historic Columbus E-mail :
"In May 2018, Historic Columbus joined with Help Save Hilton to oppose a 94 – unit residential development on the property located at 2551 Wynnton Road, also known as the historic Hilton property. Historic Columbus made an offer in January 2019 to the Eakle family for $1.2M. It was respectfully rejected with no counter. In April of that year, the Atlanta developer, TBG, was officially denied their appeal with DCA for the low-income housing tax credits."
What I want to know is why the City still taxes the property at FMV of $320,890.00 when the owners flatly REJECTED an offer of $1.2 MILLION dollars for it? I also want to question why Mayor Skip was granted permission to erect a large campaign sign on that property? Looks like a cozy .. maybe TOO COZY.. situation.

It was pathetic listening to Resident Biden trying to make NATO seem "strong" when the world KNOWS that Trump gave it life again when he was in office, and JoKKKe Biden and the White House handlers have sucked all that life out again.

Hmmm.. so I-185 N...from exits 34 to 46.. will be operating on 1 lane beginning next week...must be part of the T-SPLOST projects we are being taxed for... Unfortunately, it's a Harris/Troup County project, not a Muscogee County one... but it was nice for Columbus Council to tell us how the taxes Columbus citizens pay is being spent..... ....elsewhere.

Libertarians are such hypocrites! They complain about government getting/being too intrusive, too big, and too controlling, but put candidates in races that reduce the votes that conservative candidates can get. In effect, Libertarians actually help Democrats get elected which puts more government officials in office that WANT more intrusive, even bigger, and a lot more excessive government control. Look at what Libertarians did to GA and the US in 2020...The Libertarian Party votes cast for it's own candidate actually allowed Biden to get more votes than Trump, and kept Perdue from having the number of votes needed to win without a runoff.

With all the advanced emphasis on Resident Biden's scheduled itinerary on his visit to South Korea, maybe the Secret Service should look back at how the scheduling was handled for Clinton's Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown in 1996 on his fatal flight over Croatia.

What's with the Democrats Peloton connection? Early on, President Messenger Boy Biden made public his use of a Peloton stationary bike, and recently, we learned of a taxpayer funded "free for Congresspersons" Peloton app program.. I think donations from Peloton to Democrats, and Democrats' stock transactions for Peloton need to be scrutinized closely.

From the "Fred Sanford, "It's the big one, Elizabeth.. I'm coming to see you!" department - Online headline: 'NBC News reports on Hunter Biden's laptop hard drive, reveals rapid spending spree, possible 'legal exposure' * Hunter Biden's laptop was widely derided by media in 2020 as possible Russian disinformation operation" -- Wow! Well.. don't get TOO excited that anything will actually get done, because NBC's only interest is in getting Resident Biden out of the picture for 2024 so NBC can go back to ignoring Hunter again...

Talk about "sickness"...Abortion advocate Aimee Arrambide, executive director of the abortion rights nonprofit Avow Texas answered under oath that she feels that men can conceive and have abortions... SMH...
---
Online headline: "CNN will 'reimagine' long-struggling morning show 'New Day,' CEO says
* 'New Day' has struggled in ratings for CNN since its inception in 2013" -- "struggled since it's inception"? Well.. I guess so.. when you comment/report on a story, and you "reimagine" the facts to suit your agenda... it's gonna catch up with you real quick..

---
Hmmm... Why doesn't Texas Governor Abbott doesn't just send in his National Guard Engineers and dredge out the shallow parts of the Rio Grande that are in areas illegal aliens can now wade across to get into our country?

---
Online headline/story: "California city considers killing geese over droppings *
Officials have already tried using lights, fences, and dogs to address the problem * Officials in Foster City, California ruffled the feathers of animal rights activists with their plan to kill hundreds of geese after failing to reduce the mess of their droppings through other measures." -- Hmmm... Good grief! californians willingly allow illegal aliens come into their state from Mexico and offer the "low/no-cash bail" when they commit felonies, yet now want to kill undocumented geese flying in from Canada. I am curious, though, as to why californians feel that " fences, and dogs" would be effective at keeping out FLYING birds?

I understand Princess Pocahontas Warren has returned her Tesla to protest Elon Musk expressing his opinions. Hmm.. Musk wins again! Now.. now he has Warren OUT of his product, and now he can also sell it again for even more profit than before in the used car market. Personally, I hope Musk will take it to Massachusetts in 2024, and "crush" that car across the street as Warren announces her re-election campaign.

---
MSM is out to try and crush Musk with unsubstantiated accusations from women ...Unfortunately for MSM, Musk has more INK and public access than MSM, and can do what ordinary Americans can't afford...defend themselves from liberal media "pack attacks".

---
Random thought: Why is our government still trying to push metric measurements on US citizens.. it's more than obvious that Americans prefer... and are more interested in knowing measurements being given in inches/feet/yards/miles and in ounces/pounds than in their metric counterparts....

---
From the "it's like spitting into the wind... in other words.. stupid and fruitless" department - Online story: "The House passed legislation late Wednesday night that would bolster federal resources to prevent domestic terrorism in response to the racist mass shooting in Buffalo, New York." -- Good grief! "The House passed?".. well it was all Democrats plus ILL Rep Adam Kinzinger (and, of course, here are NO REPUBLICANS in ILLINOIS).. but the only way to stop domestic terrorism is to trample all over the US Constitution with illegal searches and and the presumption of guilt before convicted in a court.. What's really hypocritical is that Democrats want to enact new legislation concerning "domestic terrorism", yet do not want to ENFORCE existing legislation on illegal alien terrorist crossing our border!
