I'm curious... with the Columbus GA Council/Mayor finally "approving" the use of $10,000,000.00 deferred from our property tax revenues for the T.A.D. based ""affordable housing project" off Victory Drive, was the project's "tax deference" ever re-figured to take in account the huge increase in projected construction/FMV costs? Figuring out he taxes on a $120K to $165K home is quite different compared to a home that comes in at $155K-$205K... especially when comparable existing homes in that area are in the $90K range.

Last February, Abbott Nutrition voluntarily recalled select lots of Similac, Alimentum and EleCare baby formulas. Here it is in May, and a shortage of baby formula is causing a real crisis for parents with babies under 12 months. Now I hear that finally the Democrats in Congress/White House will begin to address it. I guess Democrats were counting on a surge in abortions to keep new formula need demand down, but now the Supreme Court had upset the Democrat agenda.
---
Hmmmm...Abbott Nutrition voluntarily recalled three types of infant formula (select lots of Similac, Alimentum and EleCare formulas that were manufactured (at an Abbott facility in Sturgis, Michigan) after four babies became sick with bacteria infections after consuming the products... hmmm.. so how come the Columbus Water Works won't give us less FECAL MATTER... which causes BACTERIAL INFECTION... in our DRINKING WATER!
---
From the "Transparency? What's that!" department -- Wonder if anyone on Columbus Council knows how much money the COLUMBUS WATER WORKS has spent... so far... on lawyers fighting to help the CWW from giving us cleaner and safer water... I mean .. do they REALLY want us to keep drinking more FECAL MATTER?
Oh! Mayor Skippy.. you too Council.. can our drinking water... the same water we use to prepare formula (when we can get it) for our grandbabies/babies... ever be "too clean or too safe? Not in my book!
---
This makes sense.. could some of the baby formula shortage at retail stores be caused by a Resident Biden Executive Order... one that ships baby formula to our Southern Border "holding facilities" for babies brought in by illegal aliens?

Online story: "GPS Fusion, the research firm Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign hired to dig up dirt on Donald Trump’s supposed ties to Russia, must turn over nearly two dozen emails to special counsel John Durham, a federal judge ruled Thursday. * U.S. District Judge Christopher "Casey" Cooper blocked prosecutors from getting 16 of those emails but allowed Durham to obtain 22. Cooper ruled that the 16 emails in question were protected by attorney-client privilege and attorney-work-product while the remaining 22 were not.
* Still, the judge ruled that those emails will not be admissible in the impending trial of Sussman – who is charged with lying to the FBI during a September 2016 meeting – because of the untimeliness of Durham’s request." -- Two things bother me about this..1- Why would "client-attorney privilege" rule in what can be described only as a treasonous attempted coup, and 2 - the e-mails won't be admissible because of the "untimeliness of Durham's request" when Durham was acting as quickly as facts became available..Now.. both things that bother me can be answered by the same thing...District Court Judge Cooper was an Obama/Biden appointee.

Looks like it's gonna be a long, hot, chaotic summer in Shicago.. seems some 400-plus youths flooded downtown Shicago and North Avenue Beach which can only be described as a "rave", and the over=powered Shicago police were overwhelmed in b=number and Mayor Light-n-head's do-nothing policies...

From the " life as it should be" department - Online headline/story: "Legally-armed Philadelphia man taking smoke break 'turned the tables' on armed would-be robber * The incident unfolded just before 11:30 Wednesday evening in South Philadelphia. * A 24-year-old man smoking outside his home told police that a would-be robber approached him while riding a bike and soon pulled out a gun and "announced a robbery," according to police. * The resident pulled out his own licensed to carry gun and opened fire on the would-be robber, police said. The alleged robber was shot in the head, but was able to fire off a round or two, the 24-year-old South Philly man told police." -- Ah! The 2nd Amendment envisioned by our Founders!

Online headline: "Americans oppose transgender surgeries, anti-puberty blockers for minors * Medical professionals have told Fox News they have seen rates of gender dysphoria skyrocket among young people in recent years" -- And rightfully so! Good parents should not take adult life decisions away from their children.
---
Online headline: "Elementary school teachers say 'no' to parents' wishes they refer to students by pronouns given at birth" -- How can "educators" cater to weird parents' wishes on how to address their children, but not listen to normal parents wishes on how to address their children?
---
I'm looking at recent fliers from both Columbus, GA Mayor Skippy and challenger John Anker is very revealing.. Anker's shows us what he is going to do, while Skippy's sorta tells us what he wishes he had done.

Online headline/story: 'January trial date set for ex-NY Lt Gov in corruption case * A January trial date was set Thursday for former New York Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin to face charges that he traded his clout as a state senator for campaign contributions. * Benjamin’s lawyer, Barry Berke said the prosecution's claims were “not a crime.” The government alleges Benjamin obtained campaign contributions from a real estate developer in exchange for Benjamin's agreement to use his influence as a state senator to get a $50,000 grant of state funds for a nonprofit organization the developer controlled." -- "to get a $50,000 grant of state funds for a nonprofit organization the developer controlled."? Wait a minute...If you insert T.A.D. deferred tax funds of $10 MILLION for "state funds" going to a non-profit... isn't this about what's being done in Columbus, GA's latest "not-so-affordable-homes" project?
Oh! and maybe there's hope ex-NY Governor Creepo Cuomo will get his "due"..too!

Online story: "New York City federal prosecutors are seeking a dramatically reduced sentence of about two years for two Brooklyn lawyers accused of firebombing an NYPD vehicle during riots in May 2020 as part of a new plea deal disclosed in court documents Tuesday. * In a letter filed Tuesday, prosecutors for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York said Colinford Mattis and Urooj Rahman, both attorneys from Brooklyn, agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit arson. Under the deal, prosecutors agreed to recommend an 18- to 24-month sentence * That’s down from the government’s previous plan to see a 10-year sentence with terrorism enhancement, discussed in an October 2021 Brooklyn federal court hearing during which Mattis and Rahman each previously pleaded guilty to one count of possessing and making a destructive device." -- Good grief! If there are any people who need to be made examples of it's lawyers who commit crimes against the legal system! These two should have been disbarred immediately, and the maximum incarceration be the only thing considered!

From the "they must have been "snowbirds" from NY living in FL during the winter shopping for clothes to travel back home in" department - Online headline/story: "A group of shoplifters lit a fire inside a Target in Fort Lauderdale before making their getaway, police said. * Police say the fire was started by people attempting to steal merchandise. * Employees put out the fire and no one was injured." -- Well, why not... there's no reason to not commit multiple crimes as they'll get out on "no cash bail" in the same amount of minutes...

Early voting in Columbus continues....I do have preferences in local contested races.. For Council: Huff in D-3, Crabb in D-5, Cogle or Etemadi in D-7, Redmond in D-9, Anker for Mayor. In School Board races: Tillery in D-2, Cantrell in D-6, Smith in D-8. Oh.. and vote "NO" on the T-SPLOST.. Voting "yes" will continue a hyper-inflation rate of our sales taxes..Oh.. and if you're voting in the Democratic Party Primary race for GA House District 140,, vote for Teddy Reese in such numbers that Zeph Baker will drop out of sight...

Online headline/story: "EPA spent $7M in American Rescue Plan funds to replace diesel school buses with electric buses * In total, the program awarded funding for 23 electric school bus replacements and associated charging infrastructure at 11 different schools across the country. At $300,000 per bus, the EPA was left with $100,000 in leftover ARP funds, which the agency told Fox News Digital will be allocated "properly to another program or department" after consulting with its budgetary staff." -- Good grief! Besides two facts quite in evidence here... 1- spending inflationary government printed money on school buses was not something American needed for rescue, and 2 - the EPA probably isn't qualified to know a good price/deal on an electric school bus, but for the EPA to get to decide on what to spend the "leftover" $100,000.00 dollars is a travesty! Turn that money back in to the Treasury and reduce the debt the JoKKKe Biden administration has placed on taxpayers' backs!

Hmmm... China has arrested a Catholic Cardinal in Hong Kong... Hey, JoKKKe Biden... can you be explain why the Chinese government arrests a Catholic Cardinal but does business with your family who claim to be Catholics?

Guess I'm going to have to start wearing eyeglasses... Remember the owl who advertised two pair..including an eye exam..started at $69.95? Well, I was watching yesterday and swear I saw that owl tell me that the two pair.. including the exam... start at $79.95... that's a 14+ percent inflation rate!

Hmmm... you know, since the 2020 election was mostly by e-mail, we ought to be able to send it back as easily as we can a package we get delivered from Amazon!

From the "if you have to ask, you shouldn't be a news outlet" department - Online YAHOO headline: "Protests at justices’ homes: Fair game or too far?" -- Good grief! Hey, YAHOO... it's AGAINST THE LAW! How can you wonder whether it's "fair game" or not?
