Liberal spinmeisters are now saying potUS Nero-bama's amnesty plan is not just for legalizing illegal aliens so they can vote, but because they would become taxpayers. Huh? potUS Nero-bama is saying all those 11/12 million illegal aliens in this country are going to make and report over $250.000.00? That is the cap he campaigned on, isn't it?

Online headline: "McDonald's Defends Chemical Used in Chicken McNuggets" -- McDonald's is defending "chemicals" it intentionally adds to children's McNuggets? Nutrients, even 'additives' would be easier to "swallow" than McDonald's admitting it adds 'chemicals'. This will become the trial lawyers' feeding frenzy!

Why put the law on no texting while driving on the books if you aren't going to enforce it until another months passes? Do the state patrol/police believe everyone will voluntarily comply if they have a 31 day 'grace' period they can use to break the 'habit' rather than have to do so 'cold turkey'?

We're down at the Gulf. The beaches at Santa Rosa are beautiful and oil free..unless you count the oily looking staff walking around in droves wearing blue gloves and pony tails
trying to find tar balls. The only thing they are picking up is the trash from food & drink they brought with them.

With the number of people hired to walk around doing nothing on the beaches but ask each other whether they have seen any oil/tar balls, the jobs figures for employment should have shown a huge increase for June.The figures would really have been dismal without all the unnecessary ones walking/driving gas powered carts around the beaches here.

A proper sentence for Lindsay Lohan would be to prohibit paparazzi and filmmakers alike from taking her picture, and prohibit TV, cable channels, and movie houses from showing her movies for the next 10 years!

One thing about voting in a DIM/DUMBorat primary is that you get wonderful e-mails/news letters from elected DIM/DUMBorats who tell you things that the L-E doesn't report. Hank Johnson's PR e-mails/letters make me wonder whether his replacing Cynthia McKinney was an improvement.

I’ve voted consistently to protect workers and their families during my time in Congress, not the insurance companies, Big Oil or the fat cats on Wall Street." -- Please note Congressman Johnson does not say he will not rest until everyone who WANTS a job has one, nor does he say he's interested in making sure businesses can operate successfully so the jobs will be there next year.

It's vital that the information concerning the Parks & Recreation audit be exposed, digested, and addressed, but what could be even more vital could be the personal foundations P&R personnel founded to write 'grants' for money to pour into the P&R programs. How much money was raised/received, and who got it, and why/how did Council not know about it?

From a 'letter to the editor' : "Parks and Recreation Director Tony Adams committed no policy violations and broke no criminal laws." -- Oh, Brother Love, Tony Adams is speaking to you but not Council? Oh, Brother Love, you know the gospel, and 'we' can't get the Book to learn for ourselves?

From same letter above: "The taxpayers have the right to know what both are doing, and that whatever has been decided or agreed upon is being done in accordance with the law." -- Yes, Brother Love, Council and the taxpayers deserve to know what has gone on in the P&R Dept, AND the City Manager's office. What did Isaiah know, when did he know, and what did he do to correct it when he knew it was going on?
