Online headline/story: "Weak US Card Security Made Target a Juicy Target *
experts say incidents like the recent data theft at Target's stores will get
worse before they get better. * That's in part because U.S. credit and debit
cards rely on an easy-to-copy magnetic strip on the back of the card, which
stores account information using the same technology as cassette tapes. * "We
are using 20th century cards against 21st century hackers," says Mallory Duncan,
general counsel at the National Retail Federation." -- Hmmm, you know what
bothers me the most about this tidbit of info? Wondering who is monitoring all
the government employee accounts and all the EBT food stamp/welfare cards? Two
Question Poll: 1 - Do you feel any person/department in government would catch
on to being hacked? and 2 - Do you think any government department head would
actually report/resign if it has happened?

Have you ever wondered how people who can't find a job can find a camera and a protest group to join someplace? Have you ever wondered how people who don't make enough money have time off to strike/protest? We need Paul Harvey back to let us know 'the rest of the story'...
---
Online story: "NEW YORK (AP) -- The glitch-plagued rollout of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul was the top news story of 2013, followed by the Boston Marathon bombing" -- Hmmm, two "bomb" stories won top 'honors'.... you know, isn't stopping these kind of events BEFORE they happen the reason why we tolerate other government inefficiencies?
---
Algore must be joining Punxsutawney Phil in hiding until February 2nd... NYC reported an all time record high temp of 65 for a December 21st, and, meanwhile in upstate NY, almost 2 inches of ice had accumulated in the early morning hours of Sunday in St Lawrence County, knocking the power out for upwards of 17,000.

Online story: "In a rare public apology, the military leader of al-Qaida's
branch in Yemen has said that one of his fighters disobeyed orders and attacked
a hospital attached to the Defense Ministry during a December assault that
killed 52 people." -- Uh-uh... don't even go there.. Judas 00-bama "apologized"
for the things that have made America great!
---
Online story: "President Barack Obama's healthcare law could have a
"meltdown" and make it difficult for his Democratic Party to keep control of the
U.S. Senate next year if ongoing problems with the program are not resolved, a
Democratic senator said on Sunday. * Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who
has urged delaying a penalty for people who do not enroll for health insurance
in 2014 under the law, told CNN that a transitional year was needed for the
complex healthcare program, commonly known as Obamacare, to work." --
Wow...Manchin is not even up for election this year... but, where was this
concern when government shutdown could have been avoided by delaying OObamaCRAP
BEFORE it became the most embarrassing story... ever. The OObamaCRAP will
probably eclipse Monica Lewinsky in embarrassing presidential escapades.

Online story: "As Hispanics surpass white Californians in population next
year, the state becomes a potential model for the rest of the country, which is
going through a slower but similar demographic shift. * But when it comes to how
California is educating students of color, many say the state serves as a model
of what not to do. * In California, 52 percent of the state's 6 million school
children are Hispanic, just 26 percent are white. And Hispanic students in
general are getting worse educations than their white peers. Their class sizes
are larger, course offerings are fewer and funding is lower. * The consequence
is obvious: lower achievement. * Just 33 percent of Hispanic students are
proficient in reading in third grade, compared with 64 percent of white
students" -- You know, it's public education... how can Hispanic students get
worse conditions than non-Hispanic students in America's most dysfunctional
state? And what's the glory in comparing the Hispanic student's reading
deficiency to white students when the reading proficincy of white students is a
failure, too?

From the "huh.. run that by me again in English" department - Online story:
"More than two years after sensitive information about the Osama bin Laden raid
was disclosed to Hollywood filmmakers, investigations haven’t publicly held
anyone accountable despite internal findings that the leakers were former CIA
Director Leon Panetta and the Defense Department’s top intelligence official. *
Instead, the Pentagon Inspector General’s Office is working to root out who
might have disclosed the findings on Panetta and Undersecretary of Defense for
Intelligence Michael Vickers to a nonprofit watchdog group and to McClatchy." --
The leaks are associated with the top two figures, but the IG's office is
working on who spilled those beans to McClatchy, and McClatchy is buying that?

Online story: "Ten years after the 9/11 attacks led to amped-up government
surveillance efforts, two-thirds of Americans say it's fitting to sacrifice some
privacy and freedoms in the fight against terrorism, according to a poll by the
Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research * A slim majority — 54
percent — say if they had to choose between preserving their rights and freedoms
and protecting people from terrorists, they'd come down on the side of civil
liberties." -- I think "1984" is upon us... this so called "slim majority" is
what elected & re-elected Judas 00-bama, but do not forget, that the "54%
slim majority" only reflects the number of people who went to the polls and
voted. If the "slim minority" had the support of those who just couldn't be
bothered at the moment, that "54% slim majority" would be a minority of people
and would not be able to undermine America's future. Make sure you take someone
else with you to vote in 2014 & 2016.

Online story: "President Barack Obama says he's not worried about his
daughters starting to date. After all, he's got some help keeping an eye on
them. * Malia, age 15, and Sasha, age 12, are "very sensible," Obama told
comedian and talk show host Steve Harvey in a television interview that aired on
Friday. * "And the second thing is, I've got men with guns following them around
all the time," Obama quipped, referring to the Secret Service detail that is a
constant presence around his family." - Isn't that special... we're paying for
armed guards for his children, and Judas 00-bama wants us to turn ours in so we
can't protect our children from the same dangers.. hypocrite personified!
---
I guess it's the concern for his family's safety that directs Judas 00-bama
to take his vacations in Hawaii or Martha's Vineyard instead of Chicago.. In
Chicago, his daughters' armed guards would be out gunned.
---
Alert! Most of us with Georgia connections snickered when we heard that the
Democrats woould be running another Carter and another Nunn for political
offices, but don't get complacent...Judas 00-bama wrote off GA early in his
re-election campaign, but still pulled in 45% of the vote.
---
You know, with all the ObamaCare exclusions and delays granted by Judas
00-bama to special interest groups, Judas 00-bama has done something John
Boehner hasn't been close to doing.. getting ObamaCare repealed...
---
Well, depending on which news source you consider more reliable, either the
22nd or 23rd gun shot death occurred in the wee hours of Sunday AM. Why
doesn't Mayor Obamalinson's Committee on Crime Prevention do something
effective, and shut down Liquor sales after midnight? Our grandmothers were
right... nothing good happens after midnight.
---
You know, if everyone, especially the folks who benefit financially
by using it as a conversational "trump card", would stop using the words
racist/racism and start replacing it with "cultural differences" , meaningful
conversations might occur instead of everyone going back into their corner and
waiting for the 'bell' to signal the next round. America is great because of its
being the "cultural melting pot" of the world. Every cultural has good things to
offer every other culture, but we have listen, discuss them openly and glean the
best of all our worlds. Calling someone a racist for thinking or
feeling different gets us nowhere.
---
With all the shootings, armed robberies, and home invasions on the rise,
the best program the Committee to Prevent Crime may want to initiate is to take
note of the addresses of the suspects when captured, and install TSA type
equipment to screen all persons and vehicles for weapons and stolen merchandise
when entering and leaving those neighborhoods.

L-E headline: "Foreign-made meth popular in Alabama" -- Must be one of
those Detroit institutional ad programs.. you know, "Imported from
Detroit"?
---
L-E story: "The end of long-term unemployment benefits this month means
millions of Americans could be left without their sole source of income while
they look for work. In 2013 alone, the federal aid program sent more than $25.6
billion flowing into unemployed workers’ pockets and shored up states’
struggling economies. * Dec. 28 marks the end of the emergency unemployment
compensation program, shutting offbenefits for 1.3 million Americans immediately
— and millions more over the next year." -- Excuse me, but why are millions
still unemployed with all the millions of jobs Judas 00-bama is claiming he's
created? Excuse me, again, but how does extending long-term benefits motivate
job searches?
---
L-E headline: "Tom Cruise, tabloids settle defamation lawsuit" -- Good
grief.. and next year Cruise will probably sue them for not defaming him causing
his Twitter account followers to lose interest. Now let's see if Cruise does
good with that money and donates all of it (without taking tax
deductions).
