You know, In his grasp to regain his voter base's loyalty by class warfare
& redistribution, Judas 00-bama is fanning the flames of immigration reform.
Wanting to raise wages by edict will entice more illegal aliens to cross our
borders, while it reduces the available or possible jobs.
---
It's no wonder Judas 00-bama hesitates to sign up for OObamaCRAP. If he puts down his Social Security number, it'll get hacked, and his high school, college, and travel documents will be available on the Internet.

Out of curiosity, why are not Photo-IDs a requirement for OObamaCRAP? One of the greatest fears and flaws of government programs is fraud, so why not take the extra step? Hmmm, could it simply be that those Photo-IDs could also serve as voter ID at the polls, and the Obamarats would not have enough valid voters to keep OObamaCRAP from getting repealed in a tear or two?

Judas 00-bama cannot shake his image of business ineptness, so he's back on his campaign strategy of class warfare and redistribution of wealth to get his base back in line.

HuffPost headline/story: "Paul Walker Died from Effects of 'Traumatic and Thermal Injuries,' Autopsy Confirms" -- Life can be short, life can be beautiful, life is precious. Death can be short, death can be celebrated, fiery death at 90MPH in a 45MPH zone wrapped around a tree is tragic. Having a ME/coroner perform an autopsy at tax payer expense to declare the obvious "crash & burn" was the cause of death is wasteful.
---
HuffPost headline/story: "School Science Lesson Claims Gravity Was Created By God * While the first several questions of the lesson are fairly straightforward, the last few questions clearly have a religious agenda. * In one such part of the lesson, students are told that “people who do not believe in God” cannot explain gravity. " -- Science can "prove" that Earth/life just "happened, and not consider a divine creation? Science can dissect and explain life, but cannot create it from scratch, but cannot accept faith. Gravity is faith as well but it exists without science's input or 100% understanding.

HuffPost headline: "500-POUND PIG LOOSE IN SMALL OREGON TOWN" -- Ooops, my bad... Thought there had been an Algore sighting.
---
From the "good news, bad news" department - Microsoft announced an upward trend in people upgrading there operating systems. The bad news is more opted to get Windows & versus Windows 8. Not exactly a good indicator..
---
HuffPost headline: "Obama's Vision For High-Speed Rail Is In Danger Of Stalling Out" -- Hmmm... The Economy, OObamaCRAP, and now The High Speed Rail. Hmmm, the political "hat trick"... hmmm, death by "3 on a match"; hmmm ironic... now Judas 00-bama is sabotaging the rail people were expecting him to ride out of Washington on, he won't be able to afford the ticket, and when it wrecks/derails, no doctors or hospitals will accept his med plan.
---
Hillary must see OObamaCRAP is going to be a millstone on her campaign for 2016. Bill is out making sure Judas 00-bama is getting the blame for it.

Online story: "The National Football League, which obviously has no problem airing ads for shoot-em-up flicks and ultra-violent video games, has refused to run a firearms manufacturer's self-defense Super Bowl ad under the guise of neutrality and taste." -- Hmmm. there was "taste" in the Bud commercial where flame met horse methane? Of course, the Super Bowl did pull an ad when the guy on a bungee cord smashed into the floor when trying to get dip on his chip..... even if the guy hadn't killed himself, what was tasteful about that ad?

Just curious... our Council just distributed nearly $700,000 tax dollars to
assorted government/private sector groups without the first safety clause to
insure the rightful use of such funds. Excuse me, but why is Council in the
charity business? While I doubt that most of these ideas will be effective crime
prevention projects. why does not Council, with taxpayer approval, just make
such funds available to go through United Way since most of these groups are
already eligible for or accepting UW funds. At least there will be screening
done to make sure the moneys are spent as applied for.

You know, Judas 00-bama had 19 people on stage behind him when he spoke
about the improvements on the OObamaCRAP website. Did you know he didn't release
the names/info on those 19 to the media? Why? Privacy? Nah, those folks are
already publicly filleted on the 00bamaCRAP website already. The only thing that
makes sense is those 19 are probably the only successful applicants.

I usually refrain from commenting on political activities festering from
from the Phenix City side of the river, but the stink created by the Phenix City
School Board is a little overwhelming. Buying out a Superintendent's 4+ year
contract without illuminating the taxpayers/voters is a little too much. Phenix
Citians should have a recall initiative for the entire board.. starting
today.
---
On this side of the river, it's nice to see that the Superintendent of the
Muscogee County School System has decided to buy a house actually in Muscogee
County and participate in Muscogee County's tax programs. The MCSD Board should
make this a requirement, not an option.
---
I'm curious.... Why does Carmike make purchasing 3-D glasses mandatory
(other than for the money)? Why not allow people who have bought one pair from
Carmike use those for future movies?

L-E's "Quotable": “It is not strange … to mistake change for progress.”
Millard Fillmore 13th U.S. President (1800-1874) -- This should been Romney's
Campaign slogan.
---
L-E editorial headline/comment: "Lewis priority one: A unified reading
program * It all starts with reading. That’s the foundation on which all
education is built, regardless of whether the subject is humanities or sciences.
Without a grasp of the written word, there is no education." -- Hmmm, so what
are the first two things we learn since Lewis has been here: "1 - cursive
writing will be dismissed, and 2 - "smart phones and tablets" will become
ordinary classroom fixtures. The school system want even be able to get students
to pick up a book, much less read one.
---
Randomness: The 911 phone call tapes are now available. A prosecutor
wrongfully blocked public acess and a court returned it. Why... why does media
want to air these pleas of human frailty? Where has common sense and common
courtesy gone?
---
L-E story: "Columbus Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a
trailer theft that occurred last weekend. * A new 2013 tandem-axle trailer
belonging to the city of Columbus was taken from a fenced lot at 1905 Third
Ave., Lt. Steve Cox said. The trailer was discovered missing Monday morning, Cox
said. " -- Hmmm, maybe if some of the $700,000.00 Council gave out in charity
donations had been used to buy a camera system for the 3rd Ave lot, a crime
could have been actually prevented.
---
L-E story: " The Las Vegas Hotel Superbook sold 14 tickets after installing
Auburn — which went 3-9 in 2012 — at 1,000-1 in January to win the national
title." -- Hmmm... wanna bet Las Vegas will fix the games to make sure that
whoever wins the BCS championship will be the team that costs Las Vegas the
fewest pay-out bucks?
---
L-E story: " Mettenberger injured his left knee while unloading a 32-yard
completion in the fourth quarter of No. 14 LSU’s 31-27 victory over Arkansas
last Friday, and LSU coach Les Miles confirmed the severity of the injury on
Wednesday." -- Hmmm... if UGA had not released Mettenberger and Nick Marshall.
the fates would dictate Nick Marshall now having a first shot at unseating
Hutson Mason at the QB spot. It's strange how things work out.
---
L-E "headlie"/story: " Survey: U.S. firms add 215K jobs, most in a year *
WASHINGTON — A private survey shows U.S. businesses last month added the most
jobs in a year, powered by big gains in manufacturing and construction." -- Pure
BS...it's Christmas time, and part time help is added...tis true that the cut
back to 29/30 hours for full time employees may require more temp people to fill
in the schedules, but come January 2nd 2014, most New Year Resolutions, as well
as hopes' will be dashed.

A fellow BCer passed this on, and from a pure entertainment aspect.. ya'
gotta watch. This is from the 1940's and the first 50 seconds or so are
basically a singing trio, but after that is unbelievable.
