Today we remember Pearl Harbor... remember that "no boots on the ground" declaration of war back in 1941? Do so with reverence and honor.

Nelson Mandela's passing is of world wide note, but why is Judas 00-bama so "involved? He neither attended nor sent no Democrats to Margaret Thatcher's funeral. While not personally attending Hugo Chavez's funeral, he did send a Democrat group and some of this Hollywood A-list supporters, but now 00-bama and his wife are heading off to Mandela's, and has ordered our flags lowered to half-mast for 10 days. This is the same Mandela, who in 2003 said, "If there’s a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America. They don’t care.” He also wrote in his 2008 autobiography, " * "Any and every source was of interest to me,”. “I read the report of Blas Roca, the general secretary of the Community Party of Cuba, about their years as an illegal organization during the Batista regime. In Commando, by Deneys Reitz, I read of the unconventional guerrilla tactics of the Boer generals during the Anglo-Boer War. I read works by and about Che Guevara, Mao Tse-tung, Fidel Castro." -- Hmmm how will Judas 00-bama top this for Castro's funeral?
---
Hmmm, wonder if Winnie Mandela, the "necklacing" queen ex-wife will attend/be allowed to attend?
---
Merrill Newman, an 85 year old vet who fought in the Korean War and who was detained for 6 weeks in North Korea has been "deported". "I feel good," Newman said, adding with a laugh that the first thing he planned to do was "go home and see my wife." * U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, who is traveling in Seoul, welcomed the release and said he talked by phone with Newman in Beijing, offering him a ride home on Air Force Two. Biden said Newman declined because of a direct flight to his home state of California later Saturday." -- Really Bleep Veep Joe..he declined because of a better flight connection? I think there's more to it than that.

Online story: "HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) — A woman who was convicted of assisting in her mother's killing has left prison after serving 15 years. * Valessa Robinson was 15 when she helped boyfriend Adam Davis and Jon Whispel kill Vicki Robinson in the family's upscale Tampa home in 1998. * Valessa Robinson was convicted of third-degree murder. Prosecutors said her mother had planned to send the teen to a Christian boarding school for troubled girls. * Davis is on death row and Whispel remains in prison." -- Where's the justice in this scenario? How can the daughter be less responsible than the boyfriend on death row? Maybe he should be let out for a reunion with her...

McClatchy headline/story: "Jobless rates drops to lowest level in five years * The White House praised the Friday report. * “With solid job growth in November – in addition to strong data on manufacturing activity and auto sales – it is clear that the recovery continues to gain traction,” Jason Furman, head of the Council of Economic Advisers, said a statement." -- "Happy Days Are Here Again"? Guess the White House will cut jobless benefits... yeah, right.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is calling on Congress to extend benefits for the long-term unemployed before they expire at the end of the year." -- Wait a minute... with the figures Judas 00-bama authorized to be published concerning new jobs and fewer first time jobless benefits' applications, shouldn't 00-bama be reducing the length of time of unemployment benefits so those folks will get back into the job market? Guess this tells us the truth about 00-bama's minions' trustworthiness with vital figures.

Haven't gotten the specific details/recipe, but there is another 'meth' product made from household chemical products rather than using pseudoephedrine. Purported ingredients include ammonia and gun bluing. I guess you can claim you are "clean" inside even when you are using it.
---
L-E headline: "Shelters overrun with hard-to-place pit bulls" -- Hmmm, why not just drop them off at Mayor Obamalinson's dog park with signs around their neck reading "Free to a bad home"?
---
L-E story: "Five months after a Muscogee Superior Court jury found Ron Blair not guilty in the downtown shooting death of Keon Coleman, Blair was released from jail Friday after pleading guilty to a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter in connection with the case. * Stacey Jackson, one of three defense attorneys representing the father of six children, said the agreement between Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Cooley and Judge William Rumer is a victory for Blair who had served more than 20 months in the Muscogee County Jail * As part of the agreement, Jackson said the defense withdrew consideration of a motion of double jeopardy against Blair. On July 2, a jury found Blair innocent of murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and theft by conversion in the shooting of Coleman on March 25, 2012, at Broadway and 12th Street. * At the trial, the jury of five men and seven women didn’t consider an additional felony murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charges. The district attorney’s office had delayed action on the two charges until Friday. * “Those two charges had not been resolved,” said defense attorney Mark Shelnutt. “Today, we were able to resolve those charges.”
Blair, 33, was facing one to 20 years on the voluntary manslaughter charge and one to five on the firearm possession charge. Rumer sentenced Blair to 15 years with 20 months to serve concurrently on the manslaughter charge and five years with 20 months to serve on the firearm’s charge. The rest of the sentence will be served on probation. * Under terms of the agreement, Blair apologized to the Coleman family, must not ever possess a firearm and is banned from residing in the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit, which includes Muscogee, Talbot, Taylor, Harris, Marion and Chattahoochee counties. “He needs to leave the circuit,” Rumer said." -- What is going on? Obviously, a "victory" for Blair is a 'loss" for humanity. Shuffling him off to another area doesn't change a leopard's spots, and he could move to Phenix City and be in court compliance. And who believes a convicted felon who is caught with a gun again, will not get his hands on another one? With enough juries like this one, our jails could be empty in a few years.

The White House deserves a more fitting name... how about the "White Lie House" or :White House of Lies"... either would qualify as a hit TV reality show title. Just yesterday, Jay Carney was telling us Judas 00-bama had never met his uncle, but when the smoke he was blowing disappeared, it was revealed that Judas actually roomed with his uncle when he first came to Harvard.
---
A few months ago, we got reports about the Department of Homeland Security accumulating IED resistant vehicles and ungodly quantities of ammunition. Has anyone seen any of the equipment or know how much more ammunition has now been amassed?

Online story: "With his namesake ObamaCare in catastrophic slow-motion disintegration and his public approval numbers plummeting below his supposedly incompetent predecessor, Barack Obama is increasingly desperate to change the subject. * Cue his reliable class warfare cowbell. * This week, Obama preposterously labeled income redistribution “the defining challenge of our time” in a transparent effort to rally his suddenly demoralized base. Meanwhile, a new Gallup poll directly refutes Obama’s assertion, with only 1% – an ironic number – listing income inequality as “the most important problem facing this country today.” -- "only 1% – an ironic number – listing income inequality as “the most important problem facing this country today.”"? Hmmm looks like there is another possibility for a 99% protest... only this time the 99% will go to work instead.
---
Online story: "President Obama on Thursday said that Republicans should be “embarrassed” that they have not done more on Capitol Hill, blaming them for Washington gridlock. * “They've got to be embarrassed,” the president said in an interview on MSNBC’s "Hardball with Chris Matthews." “Because the truth of the matter is that they've now been in charge of the House of Representatives, one branch of, or one chamber in one branch of government, for a couple of years now and they just don't have a lot to show for it.” -- Hmmm, the only government chamber that reflects the current majority opinion of America should be embarrassed? What it is is that the majority sent Republicans back to stop the carnage the Obamarats want to inflict.
---
Online quote source: "“Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies.” ― Nelson Mandela " -- Hmmm, sorta like low info voters resenting having to work for their freedoms so they vote for Obamarats instead.

From a Wednesday's L-E story: "CVL (Chattahoochee Valley Library) will take an inventory of its collection to determine whether it would be cost effective to upgrade its security system to combat theft of materials, Harkness said. * "Most library systems, you have to look at a theft-loss rate of over 6 or 7 percent," Harkness said, "and we're preparing now to run those numbers. If you're higher than that, you can do it on a cost recovery basis pretty easily."
* The question is whether the cost of a security upgrade -- tens of thousands of dollars, Harkness estimated -- would be more or less than the cost of replacing stolen materials." -- Yesterday, I focused on the planning stupidity of the library putting it's handicap services office on the third floor as once the elevators get shut down by a power outage or fire protocol, wheelchair or low ambulatory users would have only a choice of 3 flights of stairs or jumping as a means of escape, but this is about role modeling, actually reverse role modeling for young users. The library is basically telling them it's OK to steal as long as you don't steal too much.

L-E story: " A guilty plea hearing for a Columbus teenager charged with vehicular homicide was canceled Friday in Superior Court, so the vehicle he was driving can be inspected, his attorney said. * C____ Q____, 16 at the time, was charged in the June 2012 death of 16-year-old H____ G____ after the vehicle he was driving left County Line Road and rolled, ejecting the young woman, according to police reports.* A grand jury indicted Q___ on counts of first-degree homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, being a teenager driving under the influence and reckless driving." -- All teen traffic deaths are tragic, but no amount of inspection of the vehicle will eliminate alcohol's influence and effect.
--
Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " At minimum wage, millions of Americans are the working poor, and when they apply for assistance to make ends meet, the bigots and racists still call them “lazy.” -- First, it's the government effect on inflation that negate's what any salary will gain, but, it's compounded when the government taxes you from whatever wage you earn but only gives you back about 20-cents out of every dollar you paid in.
---
Even lower info voter's L-E "soundoff": " The most asinine argument of all is that we need guns to protect us from guns." -- WRONG... we need legally possed guns to protect us from people who attain guns illegally for unlawful acts against us. That, and to be prepared for an oppressive president who thinks he's been elected king.
---
L-E story: "SALT LAKE CITY — A defense attorney is crediting jailers with saving the life of a Utah doctor who tried to kill himself after he was recently convicted of leaving his heavily drugged wife to die in a bathtub to carry on an affair with another woman." -- Why? Bet the lawyer was only thinking about losing a 20 year annuity for appealing his clients conviction.
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — It doesn’t rival Amazon and Travelocity, but President Barack Obama’s much-maligned health insurance website finally seems to be working reasonably well most of the time." -- That's government for you.. at least for Obamarat reasoning. Why does mediocrity ever become acceptable?
---
L-E story: " WASHINGTON — Under pressure from the wind-power industry, the Obama administration said Friday it will allow companies to kill or injure eagles without the fear of prosecution * The new rule is designed to address environmental consequences that stand in the way of the nation’s wind energy rush: the dozens of bald and golden eagles being killed each year by the giant, spinning blades of wind turbines" -- Oh.. Judas 00-bama is offended at the Washington Redskin's name, but OK with killing off our national symbol.. you know, with all the other stuff Judas 00-bama is OK with.. this sorta makes sense.. God help us.

It's sorta nice that the MCSD posted it's SPLOST project status, but it left out a very important detail... how much revenue has been received, and how short those revenues are in comparison of what the MCSD wants to spend.
